Rumble CEO Escapes Commie Europe After France Arrests Telegram Founder

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski announced that he had “safely departed” from Europe after Telegram CEO Pavel Durov was arrested in France, and French authorities made subsequent threats against Rumble.

The Post Millennial reported that Durov was detained at Le Bourget Airport near Paris on Aug. 25, 2024, after he arrived on a private jet from Azerbaijan. The arrest, executed under a warrant for Durov, who holds dual citizenship of France and the United Arab Emirates, allegedly stems from allegations that Durov failed to moderate content on his social media platform.

Durov now faces a potential 20-year prison sentence on charges including terrorism, narcotics trafficking, fraud, money laundering and receiving stolen goods.

Pavlovski released a statement on Twitter, condemning the actions taken against Durov and vowing to fight for freedom of expression.

“France has threatened Rumble, and now they have crossed a red line by arresting Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, reportedly for not censoring speech. Rumble will not stand for this behavior and will use every legal means available to fight for freedom of expression, a universal human right. We are currently fighting in the courts of France, and we hope for Pavel Durov’s immediate release,” he wrote.

In his other post, Pavlovski also pointed out that several countries worldwide banned and threatened Rumble.

“China bans Rumble. France threatens Rumble. We leave. Brazil threatens Rumble. We leave. [The United Kingdom] threatens Rumble. Russia bans Rumble. New Zealand threatens Rumble. France arrests Telegram CEO. Free speech is under major assault, and I will not stop fighting for it,” he wrote.

Elon Musk, Twitter’s owner, responded to the recent news by emphasizing the importance of supporting free speech and urging users to share posts on his platform, particularly in countries with heavy censorship.

“It is vital to the support of free speech that you forward X posts to people you know, especially in censorship-heavy countries,” he wrote.

Texas Purges Over 1M Voters from Its Voter Rolls

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) On Aug. 26, 2024, Gov. Greg Abbott, R–Texas, announced that the state had purged more than one million ineligible voters from voter rolls in the past several years, which includes thousands of noncitizens.

According to a press release from the governor’s office, Texas officials have removed more than 1.1 million people from the state voter rolls since Abbot signed Senate Bill 1 into law in September 2021.

The number includes hundreds of thousands of dead people, hundreds of thousands on the suspense list and more than 100,000 people who failed to respond to an address confirmation notice, among others deemed ineligible.

Abbott said that the purge also included more than 6,500 noncitizens who had managed to be included on the voter rolls.

“Election integrity is essential to our democracy. I have signed the strongest election laws in the nation to protect the right to vote and to crack down on illegal voting… Illegal voting in Texas will never be tolerated. We will continue to actively safeguard Texans’ sacred right to vote while also aggressively protecting our elections from illegal voting,” he stated.

In 2021, the governor’s office stated that Senate Bill 1 was created to beef up election integrity. After the bill became law, it established uniform statewide voting hours, banned drive-through voting, provided more transparency by allowing poll watchers to observe details of the election process better and expanded voting access for voters who require more assistance.

Abbott’s office also said that the law prohibits the dissemination of unsolicited applications for mail-in ballots.

The Post Millennial also recently reported that Texas Democratic staffer Manuel Medina’s home was raided on Aug. 21, 2024, as part of a state election fraud investigation headed by Attorney General Ken Paxton.

The investigators found a cache of phones and digital devices that could have been connected to those who were not supposed to vote.

The news source reported that authorities seized “numerous papers, documents, family and other photographs, as well as 65 cell phones and some 41 computers, digital and other storage devices.”

“Secure elections are the cornerstone of our republic. We were glad to assist when the District Attorney referred this case to my office for investigation. We are completely committed to protecting the security of the ballot box and the integrity of every legal vote. This means ensuring accountability for anyone committing election crimes,” Paxton said in a news release.

‘Anti-Racist’ Scholar Plagiarized Material from Minority Scholars in Ph.D. Dissertation

(Headline USA) A well-known “anti-racist” scholar allegedly plagiarized content from several minority academics in her doctoral thesis for the University of Washington.

Robin DiAngelo, best-selling author of White Fragility, published her dissertation, titled “Whiteness in Racial Dialogue: A Discourse Analysis,” in 2004 before receiving her doctorate in multicultural education.

An analysis of the work, however, showed she lifted two paragraphs from Asian–American professor Thomas Nakayama and his coauthor, Robert Krizek, without attribution, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

For example, in Kakayama’s and Krizek’s work, they wrote, “While this discourse recognizes a part of its historical constitution, ‘White, of European descent,’ this reflexivity does not necessarily mean that there has been a recognition of the power relations embedded in that history.”

In her dissertation, DiAngelo wrote almost verbatim, “While this discourse recognizes in part a historical constitution, this does not necessarily indicate that there is a recognition of the power relations embedded in that history.”

DiAngelo also lifted content from Asian-American professor Stacey Lee, using Lee’s summary of a work by scholar David Theo.

“It is never appropriate to use the secondary source without acknowledging it, and even worse to present it as one’s own words,” Peter Wood, the president of the National Association of Scholars, told the Free Beacon. “That’s plagiarism.”

Steve McGuire, a member of the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, agreed that the compiled list of examples in the Free Beacon’s analysis would be considered plagiarism.

“No one who respected the basic expectations of scholarship would do this,” McGuire said. “The amount of copying of verbatim language without quotation marks or clear and consistent citations in these examples is appalling.”

DiAngelo is now facing a formal complaint with the University of Washington over the allegations of plagiarism.

Ironically, in an “accountability” statement on her website, DiAngelo insists that “fellow white people” must “always cite and give credit to the work of BIPOC people who have informed your thinking.”

Her statement adds, “When you use a phrase or idea you got from a BIPOC person, credit them.”

Walz Caught in Another ‘Stolen Valor’ Moment on His Embellished Résumé

(Headline USA) Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was caught lying about his record once again—this time about an award from the Chamber of Commerce he claimed to have received.

In 2005, when Walz launched his first campaign for Congress, he claimed in his campaign biography that he was “named the Outstanding Young Nebraskan by the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce for his service in the education, military and small business communities,” according to an archived version of the website.

However, Walz never received this accolade.

The president of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce at the time, Barry Kennedy, even blasted Walz in 2006 for misrepresenting his credentials.

“We researched this matter and can confirm that you have not been the recipient of any award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce,” Kennedy wrote at the time.

“I am not going to draw a conclusion about your intentions by including this line in your biography,” he added. “However, we respectfully request that you remove any reference to our organization as it could be considered an endorsement of your candidacy.”

The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce went on to endorse Walz’s opponent in the race, Rep. Gil Gutknecht, R-Minn.

Walz’s campaign eventually did correct his biography, noting that he received an award from the Nebraska Junior Chamber of Commerce.

A spokesperson for Walz’s campaign claimed at the time that the embellishment was just a “typographical error.”

When asked about the incident, the Harris–Walz campaign refused to say whether the misrepresentation had been deliberate.

“Governor Walz speaks the way real people speak—openly and off the cuff,” the campaign said in a statement.

“The American people appreciate that Gov. Walz tells it like it is and doesn’t talk like a politician, and they appreciate the difference between someone who occasionally misspeaks and a pathological liar like Donald Trump,” it projected.

Walz has come under fire for lying about his record on multiple occasions, most notably in regards to his military service, when he falsely claimed that he saw combat in the Middle East even though he retired from the National Guard right as his unit was set to deploy.

Kamala Trying to Change Rules of Presidential Debate at the Last Minute

(Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is trying to change the rules of next month’s presidential debate on ABC News, just weeks before Harris is set to face off against former President Donald Trump.

According to Trump spokesperson Jason Miller, Harris now wants to scratch the rules she initially agreed to—rules that applied to Trump’s and President Joe Biden’s debate in June. Those rules stipulated that candidates’ mics would be shut off once their time was up, that notes would not be allowed, and that no audience would be present.

“The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules,” Miller said in a statement.

If Harris “isn’t smart enough to repeat the messaging points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s their problem,” Miller added. “This seems to be a pattern for the Harris campaign. They won’t allow Harris to do interviews, they won’t allow her to do press conferences, and now they want to give her a cheat-sheet for the debate.”

Harris’s campaign confirmed it wants the rules changed.

“We have told ABC and other networks seeking to host a possible October debate that we believe both candidates’ mics should be live throughout the full broadcast,” Harris campaign senior advisor Brian Fallon said. “Our understanding is that Trump’s handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don’t think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own.”

Several conservatives pointed out that Harris likely wants to change the rule about muted mics so that she can try to goad Trump into interrupting her.

Trump reacted with a statement of his own, threatening to withdraw from the debate after a segment between ABC’s Jon Karl and Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., went viral. In it, Cotton blasted Karl for trying to whitewash Harris’s record and pretend that it is more moderate than it really is.

“I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl’s(K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” Trump said in response.

Biden Admin Pulls RFK Jr.’s Secret-Service Protection after He Endorses Trump

(Headline USA) Only one month since Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was finally granted Secret Service protection, the Biden administration pulled it after the independent presidential candidate suspended his campaign, withdrew from the ballot in several states and formally endorsed former President Donald Trump last week.

Despite rejecting at least five requests from Kennedy’s campaign for a Secret Service detail, the Department of Homeland Security finally approved protection for the former Democrat following the attempted assassination of Trump.

DHS’s hesitance to grant Kennedy protection drew widespread criticism, especially since federal law requires that major presidential candidates and their spouses receive Secret Service protection within 120 days of a general election.

The assassination of the political scion’s uncle, John F. Kennedy, and father, Robert F. Kennedy—who was himself shot while on the presidential campaign trail in 1968—further underscored the outrageous refusal, which many saw as being politically motivated.

Just days after Kennedy announced he was suspending his presidential campaign, DHS pulled Kennedy’s detail.

Kennedy confirmed the situation in an interview with Glenn Beck, saying, “My life is in God’s hands. I’m going to do what I’m going to do, whether I have that or not.”

He went on to slam the Biden administration for the initial rejections of his request for protection, calling the administration’s actions an example of the “weaponization” and “politicization of the agencies.”

Kennedy endorsed Trump last Friday, blasting the Democratic Party for running a “sham” primary election and waging “continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself.”

The independent candidate said he believes that in an “honest election,” he would have won. But “I no longer believe that I have a realistic path of electoral victory in the face of this relentless, systematic censorship and media control,” he added.

Trump thanked Kennedy for the endorsement at a campaign rally this weekend and reportedly vowed to help Kennedy create a “unity government” that welcomes both Republicans and Democrats who feel disenfranchised by Democratic leadership.

“[Trump] invited me to form a unity government and we agreed to be able to continue to criticize each other on issues on which we don’t agree,” Kennedy said this weekend. “These issues are so important for unifying our country, we need in this country to reach a point where we love our children more than we hate each other.”

Gen-Z Voters Reveal Widening Gender Gap in Political Affiliation Ahead of 2024 Election

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) Recent polling ahead of the 2024 presidential election has revealed a startling new trend among the youngest registered voters, BizPac Review reported.

According to a recent New York Times/Sienna poll, Generation Z has the largest gender gap among all voters who were polled.

“Men under 30 are much more likely to support Donald Trump than women their age,” said the Times. “It’s a far bigger gender gap than in older generations.”

Polling in six swing states that was conducted in August indicated that young men favored former president Donald Trump by 13 points while young women favored Vice President Kamala Harris by 38 points. In total, this represents a whopping 51-point gap between men and women in this age group.

Age groups of 30-44, 45-64 and 65+ were also polled for the study. None of these other age groups had gender gaps as wide as those under 30 experienced.

The strong divide between young male and female voters may make voters in that generation less collectively reliable for the Democratic Party in future elections.

“A growing gender gap among Gen Z voters makes the impact of young voters less certain and raises important questions about why young voters, thought to be more liberal than previous generations of voters, have become strongly polarized along gender lines,” noted The Hill.

A poll conducted by SurveyUSA in early August showed that Donald Trump was leading Kamala Harris among voters from 18-34, according to Newsweek.

The Center for Information & Research on Civil Learning and Engagement estimated that 50% of the 18–29-year-old demographic voted in the 2020 presidential election. This was a significant jump from just 39% in 2016.

According to the Daily Wire, exit poll data showed that 68% of unmarried women voted Democrat in the 2022 midterm elections. Married men, married women and single men all went Republican in the same election.

Biden Enters Second Week of Vacation as Trump Honors Servicemen

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Bide appears to be running away daily pressures of the presidency as he begins his second consecutive week of vacation, the New York Post reported on Monday.

Biden arrived in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Sunday, following a five-day stay at the $37 million ranch of Democratic donor and federal board appointee Joe Kiani.

The president is expected to stay at his $2.7 million Rehoboth Beach home until Friday, with no public engagements planned during this time, according to his White House schedule.

Biden’s extended vacation coincides with growing Republican mounting concerns about a power vacuum in the White House, particularly as Vice President Kamala Harris travels the country for her presidential campaign.

On Sunday, Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., jokingly suggested that Susan Rice, a former Obama official and current director of the Domestic Policy Council, might actually be running the White House.

Biden’s notable retreat from the spotlight follows his forced and controversial withdrawal from the 2024 race under pressure from his own party’s top leaders.

He skipped the Democratic National Convention’s grand finale, dodged major engagements with the media and has shown limited support for Harris, only appearing at one campaign event before the DNC speech.

While Biden relaxed in Rehoboth on Monday, former President Donald Trump honored the 13 servicemen killed during Biden’s controversial withdrawal from Afghanistan by laying a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery.

Before Sunday, Biden spent several days at Kiani’s massive 8,000-acre ranch in California. This relationship has renewed scrutiny after media outlets reported that Biden did not pay for his stay at Kiani’s property.

In 2021, Biden appointed Kiani, a billionaire and CEO of the medical tech company Masimo, to the influential President’s Council on Science and Technology (PCAST). This came after Kiani made multi-million-dollar donations to Biden-affiliated causes.

He specifically gave $750,000 to Unite the Country, a pro-Biden super PAC, in 2017 and donated $1 million to the Biden Inaugural Committee in 2021. Notably, since Biden’s inauguration, Kiani’s company has received $3 million in federal contracts, according to the House Oversight Committee.

Contagious in Chicago: Diseased Dems Spread More than Just BS at National Convention

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Multiple attendees of the Democratic National Convention reported contracting COVID-19, despite taking measures such as masking and vaccination, according to the New York Post.

Responses from Democrats who contracted the virus ranged from prideful posting of COVID tests to rage at the DNC for taking no measures against the spread of the illness.

The convention did not require masking, social distancing or vaccination passports for those attending the event. In fact, the organization only allowed masks for those with disabilities.

Several maskers scolded the organization for not taking precautions during an apparent COVID surge.

“I arrived at the DNC healthy and hopeful and left very sick and disillusioned,” said human rights lawyer Yasmine Taeb.

It was a dramatic departure from the 2020 convention, when Democrats during the Trump presidency were eager to do everything within their power to shut down the economy and spread alarm about the pandemic ahead of the November election.

Democrats used the virus as a pretense to push unprecedented mail-in balloting, which some suspect was a means primarily for massive vote fraud in key swing states.

But the concerns about a public health outbreak were the last thing leftists wanted to promote this time around, as they instead spread rumors about a fake Beyoncé concert in order to discourage people from leaving before Vice President Kamala Harris’s acceptance speech.

Meanwhile, it seems that at social events like the “Hotties for Harris” reception, which was attended by longtime COVID panicmonger Taylor Lorenz, Democrats were also spreading disease.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that, according to wastewater data, COVID numbers were “very high.”

Rough estimates concluded that tens of thousands of people, including 7,000 delegates, attended the convention.

Chicago’s United Center, which hosted the main speakers of the event, can hold about 20,000 people.

One interview even addressed the drastic change from not having a convention at all in 2020, to hosting a massive event with thousands of people.

“We are incredibly blessed to have the art of science and vaccinations,” said a registered nurse attending the event.

“And also those who don’t wish to get a vaccination have the ability to wear a mask,” the nurse continued. “It’s about freedom of choice … the governments taken care of us, and it feels really good to breathe air and see everyone’s smiling faces.”

The FDA approved a new round of COVID vaccines last week in an attempt to curb a winter surge.

The 2010s Called… Former Top-Rated Fox, CNN Stars Spar on NewsNation

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Conservative former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly and leftist ex-CNN host Chris Cuomo sparred on NewsNation about the quality of Vice President Kamala Harris’s nomination acceptance speech at last week’s Democratic National Convention, the Gateway Pundit reported.

The newly formed network, which pitches itself as a centrist alternative to the cable-news heavyweights on the left and right, has become a home for several major-network castaways, including Cuomo, as well as Fox veterans Geraldo Rivera, Chris Stirewalt and Leland Vittert.

Other prominent contributors include noted NeverTrump ex-Republican George Will, as well as Trump-administration alums Mick Mulvaney and Sean Spicer.

However, O’Reilly’s recurring appearances on Cuomo’s show might especially send viewers down a decade-old time warp, to when both were among the top primetime talent at their respective networks.

Both would go on to meet similar fates after having been caught up in allegations of sexual impropriety while also appearing to fall victim to corporate politics due to disagreements with top network brass.

Cuomo—who regularly had his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, on air during the COVID-19 pandemic—was accused of blurring ethical lines after he was caught moonlighting as his disgraced brother’s public-relations coordinator. He left the network in 2021.

O’Reilly, whose massively popular O’Reilly Factor helped build Fox News into a right-leaning powerhouse, saw his two-decade reign come to an end in 2017 after advertisers threatened to boycott and revenues began to decline. However, he has continued a similar format on his own subscription-based website.

During his NewsNation appearance on Thursday, O’Reilly criticized Harris’s acceptance speech for being long on rhetoric and short on policy.

He said he “would give her a C” because the speech lacked all specifics, calling it “usual, liberal-Democratic lying.”

Cuomo agreed, to some extent, that the convention speech lacked substance, but only because all convention speeches lack substance.

“A convention speech is not known for its specifics,” he insisted.

As the newly anointed presidential candidate attempting to distance herself from President Joe Biden, Harris’s speech was “about capturing the imagination” of the American people, he said. “This was about giving them … something to hope for.”

However, O’Reilly proceded to shut down the bloviating nepo-baby.

“She wants power,” he replied, noting that Harris would like to have that power without the responsibility of telling the American people what she wants to do with it.

“She wants to be president. She doesn’t do press. She doesn’t answer questions,” he added.

Cuomo shot back, claiming that O’Reilly sounded ignorant and naive.

“Is that all you got?” O’Reilly asked. “That I sound like an idiot?”

He concluded that Harris “has no specifics,” and that that is not a sufficient answer because “we need problem-solving.”

Though the Los Angeles Times reported that “Kamala Harris crushed it,” the meandering speech, in which she cited very few concrete policies, opted for vague generalities about “standing up to” various enemies.

What Harris specifically concentrated on, instead, was black female political activists who fought for the acquisition of various “rights.”

She also used the occasion to make reference to her deceased mother, Shyamala Gopalan, who fled India at age 19 to have an anchor baby while attending Berkeley.
