(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Whoopi Goldberg called unborn children “toxic things” while appearing this week on Chris Cuomo’s podcast.
“Not just black women, or Asian women or Hispanic women – just women in general!” Goldberg started her rant. “You changed the law without even saying, without even having the information of what that means for someone who has a, uh, difficulty in the pregnancy that requires that they not keep this toxic thing in.”
Goldberg went on to deny the personhood of the unborn explicitly. She said “And you think because there’s a heartbeat – you think there’s a heartbeat – you’re not thinking about, ‘Is the child viable? Does the child have a brain and hands and arms.’”
Goldberg made several more, equally incoherent, statements about abortion during the interview, reported Fox News.
“Well you know, I think it is negative that you changed a law that’s 50 years old that you didn’t do enough homework about to see what the consequences were gonna be for women.”
Goldberg, it should be noted, is not prone to opine on the desecration of this country’s 233-year-old Constitution.
“You’re not thinking about how did this little girl get pregnant. You’ve made no space,” Goldberg claimed.
“And to me, the fact that you didn’t even have the courtesy to sit down with a doctor and say, ‘What are the various things that this entails?’ Now we’re trying to figure out what to do.”
Though none of Goldberg’s statements make much sense, one does get the general impression that she is upset about SCOTUS overturning Roe v. Wade.
These comments come after Goldberg claimed that God endorsed abortion by giving man free agency earlier this month. In this earlier interview, Goldberg also argued that while she fully supports the right to have an abortion, she is pro-life.
“Before we go, let me just point out, no one, no one at this table is not pro-life,’ said the women who called babies “toxic things.”
“Nobody at this table is not pro-life. I just want to make sure we all know that. Nobody is happy about going to get an abortion. It’s not fun.”
