(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Following Thursday’s explosive appointment of a special counsel to investigate President Joe Biden, Democrats and their media allies hinted that Republicans may have planted the stolen classified documents in Biden’s garage and offices, the Daily Wire reported.
Among the accusers was Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., who told a Fox News reporter that the timing of the discoveries suggested a conspiracy of some kind.
“My response to it all is that alleged classified documents showing up allegedly in the possession of Joseph Biden, you know, I mean, there’s so much that needs to be investigated,” he said. “And that’s—that’s what I called for, is for everything to be investigated, but I’m suspicious of the timing of it.”
Others have shared Johnson’s suspicion that a setup was possible, although gaining access to both the classified materials and to Biden’s private residence and offices would prove a challenge.
Nonetheless, Johnson said it could be done, leaving open the door for plausible deniability, which may be crucial to Biden’s legal defense if indicted.
“I’m also aware of the fact that things can be planted on people, places and things can be planted, things can be planted in places and then discovered conveniently; that may be what has occurred here,” he noted. “I’m not ruling that out.”
The most likely culprit would seem to be Biden’s political allies within his own party who are trying to force him to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. Republicans, conversely, have little interest in seeing Kamala Harris take over if Biden were to resign early.
Nonetheless, some, including the ever reliable women of The View were adamant that there could be no other explanation.
Co-host Joy Behar, who was lampooned earlier in the week for saying Biden should be given the “benefit of the doubt” because he was universally understood to be more trustworthy than Trump, continued her streak of absurdity Thursday, lamenting the fact that Biden’s criminal conduct could derail a special counsel probe of his Republican predecessor.
Her equally daft cohost, Sunny Hostin, then took it to the next level by pointing tie finger directly at Republicans.
"Just as we're this close to getting [Trump], somehow these documents appear." – Joy Behar

The scandal that has shaken the White House began—according to official accounts—on Nov. 2, when Biden’s personal attorney found classified documents in a closet at Biden’s private office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington.
That triggered a broader search, which resulted in the discovery of additional documents in his garage and home office in Wilmington, Del.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said Thursday that the Department of Justice will appoint special counsel Robert Hur to investigate.
“It was in the public interest to appoint a special counsel,” Garland said.
Hur is considered to be a close associate of leading deep-state obstructionists including FBI Director Christopher Wray and former acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversaw Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump Russia-collusion hoax.
Unsurprisingly, the FBI had not launched a militarized raid on the Biden home as of the publication of this article.
