Brazen Illegals Admit They Don’t Need Asylum, Thank Biden and Shrug

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A series of viral videos have provided disconcerting insight into the border chaos confronting immigration authorities at the southern border, with one undocumented immigrant unabashedly expressing gratitude toward President Joe Biden.

In three videos shared by Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin, one unidentified immigrant articulated reasons for crossing the southern border, while others expressed appreciation towards the embattled president, presumably for his perceived leniency on immigration.

“I love you, Joe Biden—thank you for everything, Joe Biden!” exclaimed an unidentified Moroccan national in an interview with Melugin. Just last month, a caravan of illegal aliens heading to the U.S. were captured chanting, “Biden! Biden! Biden!”

Another man, of Liberian nationality, added to the dialogue, admitting that he crossed the border illegally to seek employment. “I came here because I want quality of life [sic],” said the Liberian man, adding, “America is the land of opportunity.”

The man’s confession stands in stark contrast to the prevalent assertions from Democrats that those crossing the border unlawfully are primarily seeking political refuge.

Notably, a third video captured by the Fox reporter showed what appeared to be a human smuggler assisting illegal immigrants in crossing a broken part of the border fence.

The apparent smuggler was seen recording the immigrants crossing the border, presumably to provide evidence of their arrival for those involved or other points of contact at the southern border.

Upon realizing he was being recorded, the individual, who had covered his face with a ski mask, offered a military salute and nonchalantly shrugged at the camera.

The emergence of this video occurred less than 24 hours after conservative critics raised concerns about what they described as the influx of “military-aged” males at the southern border.

One video, recorded by NewsNation reporter Jorge Ventura, depicted over a dozen individuals described as Chinese nationals being processed by border authorities.

A week earlier, the New York Times reported that over 24,000 Chinese nationals had been apprehended at the southern border, exceeding the total number of illegal immigrants from China in the past decade combined.

Those who have received final deportation orders are unable to return to their home country due to the Chinese communist government’s refusal to repatriate them.

Man Presumed Dead in Mysterious House Explosion in Va. Suburbs Had Troubled Past

(Headline USA) The owner of a Virginia house that exploded as police tried to execute a search warrant is believed to have died in the blast, officials said Tuesday, as details emerged about numerous grievances he expressed against neighbors and others on social media and in lawsuits.

James Yoo, 56, was identified by Arlington County Police Chief Andy Penn at a news conference as the person whose actions brought police to the Arlington home after he fired a “flare-type gun” from inside the house into the neighborhood more than 30 times.

Penn said police responded to the house about 4:45 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of shots fired. When attempts to communicate with Yoo were largely unsuccessful, police obtained a search warrant.

As officers breached the door to enter the home, the suspect fired multiple gunshots from within the house, Penn said. He said it wasn’t clear where in the house the shots were coming from or what the suspect was firing at.

Soon after that, just before 8:30 p.m., the house exploded, shooting flames and debris into the air in a blast that was felt for miles.

An investigation into the cause of the explosion is ongoing, fire officials said. Police asked that anyone with photos or video of the area share them with investigators.

Assistant Fire Chief Jason Jenkins said authorities turned off gas service to the home and evacuated nearby residents—including people who lived in the other part of the duplex—about 90 minutes before the explosion.

“I’m not going to speculate on cause or origin,” he said of the blast.

“The fire department personnel absolutely saved lives” by evacuating residents of the neighborhood, Jenkins said.

Investigators have not yet identified human remains found inside the home, but “all factors point to that it’s this individual [Yoo],” Penn said.

Yoo publicly aired grievances against multiple people in his life. On LinkedIn, he recently posted paranoid rants about his neighbors and a former co-worker.

He also filed federal lawsuits that were dismissed as frivolous against his ex-wife, younger sister, a moving company and the New York Supreme Court.

Each of four lawsuits filed between 2018 and 2022 case was dismissed, and some were described by judges as “convoluted” or “confused.”

In 2018, Yoo filed a 163-page federal lawsuit in New York against his then-wife, younger sister and a hospital after he said he was committed against his will. Yoo alleged conspiracy and deprivation of his rights, among other crimes.

The sprawling complaint included biographical details, such as who was at his wedding, and also wove in facts about who was president of the United States at the time. Yoo described how his then-wife drove him to Rochester General Hospital in November 2015 “against his will.”

Yoo denied having any thoughts of suicide or prior depression. He cited hospital records that reference a suicide note that he left for his wife, which he said he never wrote.

A man who identified himself on the phone as the husband of Yoo’s ex-wife said she had no comment. Yoo’s sister did not respond to an email or LinkedIn message requesting comment.

In his lawsuits, Yoo referenced many attempts to contact the FBI. He wrote that he believed that a New York Times reporter he saw on television was someone who had claimed to be an FBI agent and came to his house in 2017.

He said the person warned him against further attempts to communicate with a U.S. attorney in western New York or he would face a harassment charge.

David Sundberg, assistant director of the FBI’s Washington field office, said Yoo had communicated with the FBI with phone calls, letters and online tips “over a number of years.”

“I would characterize these communications as primarily complaints about alleged frauds he believed were perpetrated against him,” Sundberg said. “The information contained therein and the nature of those communications did not lead to opening any FBI investigations.”

On Tuesday, officers wearing Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives jackets combed a nearby street looking through papers scattered in the debris field. Junk mail carrying Yoo’s name and the address of the home that exploded was visible on the street.

Craig Kailimai, special agent in charge of the Washington field division for the ATF, said investigators were conducting a “grid search” of the home to determine the cause and origin of the explosion.

The White House was monitoring developments in the case, a spokeswoman said.

“Our thoughts are with the police officers that were injured in that explosion,” Olivia Dalton, the White House principal deputy press secretary, told reporters on Air Force One on Tuesday.

Carla Rodriguez of South Arlington said she could hear the explosion more than 2 miles away and came to the scene, but police kept onlookers blocks away.

“I actually thought a plane exploded,” she said.

Bob Maynes thought maybe a tree had fallen on his house when he heard the explosion.

“I was sitting in my living room watching television and the whole house shook,” Maynes said.

Arlington is located across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. The explosion occurred in Bluemont, a neighborhood in north Arlington where many of the homes are duplexes.

Pa. Gov. Rebukes Pro-Hamas Protesters for Terrorizing Jewish Restaurant

(Headline USA) Protesters marching in Philadelphia against the bombardment of Gaza chanted about genocide Sunday outside an Israeli-style restaurant, leading Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro to call the demonstration “anti-Semitic.”

In Philadelphia’s Center City and University City neighborhoods, hundreds of people marched to criticize Israel’s military actions in Gaza, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. A video of demonstrators outside of Goldie Falafel depicted people chanting, “Goldie, Goldie, you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide.”

Shapiro, who is Jewish, first addressed the protest on Twitter. Later at an event in suburban Philadelphia, the governor said he told one of the restaurant’s owners that he supported him and his staff.

Michael Solomonov is a prominent Israeli chef who has co-authored three cookbooks and received several James Beard awards. He and Steve Cook, the co-owner, are both Jewish.

“The purposeful gathering of a mob outside of a restaurant simply because it is owned by a Jewish person. Well, that’s anti-Semitism, plain and simple,” Shapiro said at a separate news conference Monday in suburban Philadelphia.

Goldie Falafel is a vegan kosher restaurant that has five locations in Philadelphia and is owned by the restaurant group CookNSolo. Representatives from the group declined to comment.

In a statement, organizers of the protest, Philly Palestine Coalition, called for a boycott of the company’s restaurants. They criticized Solomonov’s role as a culinary ambassador to Israel, and his recent donation efforts.

“He has made a handsome living passing off Palestinian and other Arab cuisine as ‘Israeli food,’ the proceeds of which are now supporting the very army that is enacting Israel’s genocidal bombing of Palestinians,” the organizers wrote.

On Oct. 12, CookNSolo announced on Instagram that they were donating all sales from the day—$100,565 total—to United Hatzalah, a nonprofit emergency medical service that responds to calls in Israel and the West Bank.

Protest organizers rebuked politicians for taking “the time to condemn our coalition,” while not adequately addressing rising hate crimes against Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims.

They also whined that recent media coverage has taken away from their mission of drawing attention to “the decades-long oppression of Palestinians.”

No arrests were made, though during the course of the evening, several businesses were vandalized, including a bank and a Starbucks, as well as a police vehicle, the Philadelphia Police Department said.

Shapiro called for those who defaced property and broke the law to be arrested and prosecuted. Police said they were investigating and reviewing footage of the area.

“We should have a spirited debate, dialogue, peacefully and respectfully about what’s happening in the Middle East,” Shapiro said. “I don’t want to rob anyone of the ability to do that peacefully, but when it crosses a line and becomes blatant anti-Semitism, it’s critically important that we all speak up.”

While campaigning last year, Shapiro talked about his Jewish faith and how it inspired him toward public service.

A line of people stretched into the street outside of Goldie on Monday afternoon, with many coming out to get food and to show support.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates called it “completely unjustifiable” to target restaurants that serve Israeli food “over disagreements with Israeli policy.”

Rep. Brendan Boyle, D-Pa., who represents the Philadelphia area, called the actions “despicable.

DOJ Smacks Down Hunter’s Attempt to Subpoena Trump

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Hunter Biden’s attempt to secure a court-issued subpoena targeting Donald Trump regarding allegations of the former president’s involvement in initiating a criminal probe into his tax affairs and other potential issues has been rebuked by federal prosecutors.

Special Counsel David Weiss, leading the investigation, responded to a plea by Hunter Biden’s legal team to the U.S. District Court of Delaware seeking authorization for subpoenas against Trump and other former DOJ officials.

In a 32-page filing, Weiss slammed Hunter Biden’s request as “meritless” and urged the judge to dismiss it. Weiss stated, “The United States respectfully opposes defendant Robert Hunter Biden’s request to issue subpoenas duces tecum.”

The special counsel’s filing declared that Hunter Biden’s claims of bias ignore the key fact that charges were initially brought forth during the tenure of his father, Joe Biden, as president.

Weiss noted, “[H]is arguments ignore an inconvenient truth: No charges were brought against defendant during the prior administration when the subpoena recipients actually held office in the Executive Branch.”

Among the officials sought for subpoena by Hunter Biden was former Attorney General Bill Barr. House Democrats have long dismissed the investigation, asserting that the probe into Hunter Biden was instigated at Barr’s and former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s behest.

Weiss staunchly defended the integrity of the prosecutors, refuting suggestions that Hunter Biden might be a victim of discrimination.

“He also identifies no constitutionally protected class to which he belongs and does not identify any evidence of discriminatory intent by the relevant decisionmakers, which is what the law requires in order to make out a claim of selective prosecution,” he declared.

Furthermore, Weiss added, “Defendant’s motion similarly fails to articulate any basis for a vindictive-prosecution claim. Defendant fails to identify what protected constitutional or statutory right he is being punished for asserting.”

Biden Admin. Imposes Anti-Semitic Travel Ban on West Bank Israelis

(Headline USA) In a provocative move designed to appease his anti-Semitic base, President Joe Biden will impose travel bans on Jewish settlers accused of recent attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank.

The move echoed the travel bans imposed by former President Donald Trump early in his presidency, although rather than targeting a longstanding U.S. ally those were aimed at preventing acts of Islamic terrorism by ending travel from several countries known to harbor and sponsor it.

Unlike Biden’s ban on Jewish passengers, Trump’s bans were severely attacked in leftist media, who accused him of xenophobia.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced the step after warning Israel last week that the Biden administration would be taking action over the attacks.

Blinken did not announce individual visa bans, but department spokesman Matthew Miller said the bans would be implemented starting Tuesday and would cover “dozens” of settlers and their families, with more to come if the settler violence continued.

He wouldn’t give a number and refused to identify any of those targeted due to confidentiality reasons.

The Israeli Embassy in Washington declined to comment on the development.

The decision comes just days after the Muslim leaders in several key swing states announced they planned on withdrawing their support from Biden over his refusal to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The Biden administration has nominally backed Israel since it was attacked by Hamas on Oct. 7, torturing, raping and massacring some 1,200 innocent Israelis and taking another 250 as hostages.

But Biden has shown signs of growing discomfort under pressure from Arab nations and radical leftists in the U.S.

In recent weeks, the administration has stepped up calls on Israel to do more to limit civilian casualties as the Israelis expand their offensive and target densely populated southern Gaza. It has been increasingly outspoken, about settler violence in the West Bank and Israel’s failure to respond to U.S. calls to stop it.

“We have underscored to the Israeli government the need to do more to hold accountable extremist settlers who have committed violent attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank,” Blinken said in a statement. “As President Biden has repeatedly said, those attacks are unacceptable.”

The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said Monday that since Oct. 7 at least eight Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed by settlers. The U.N. agency said it has recorded 314 attacks by settlers that have resulted in Palestinian casualties, damage to Palestinian-owned property or both.

One-third of the attacks included threats with firearms, including shootings, and in nearly half of the attacks the settlers were accompanied or actively supported by Israeli forces.

“Today, the State Department is implementing a new visa restriction policy targeting individuals believed to have been involved in undermining peace, security or stability in the West Bank, including through committing acts of violence or taking other actions that unduly restrict civilians’ access to essential services and basic necessities,” Blinken said.

He said the U.S. would continue to seek accountability for settler violence against Palestinians as well as Palestinian attacks against Israelis in the West Bank and Israel, particularly as tensions are extremely high due to the conflict in Gaza.

“Both Israel and the Palestinian Authority have the responsibility to uphold stability in the West Bank,” Blinken said. “Instability in the West Bank both harms the Israeli and Palestinian people and threatens Israel’s national security interests.”

Tuesday’s move comes just a month after Israel was granted entry into the U.S. Visa Waiver Program, which allows its citizens visa-free entry into the U.S. Those targeted by the action will not be eligible for the program, and those who hold current U.S. visas will have them revoked.

Kamala Breaks Dubious Record, Exposing Schumer’s Senate Partisanship

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Despite juggling multiple hats — from border, artificial intelligence, and gun control czar — Vice President Kamala Harris managed to break a record that exposes Senate Democrats’ unwillingness to work with Republicans to pass legislation.

Harris cast her 32nd tie-breaking partisan vote on Tuesday, making her the vice president with the most tie-breaking votes in U.S. history, surpassing John C. Calhoun.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., celebrated this contentious feat by presenting the embattled vice president with a gold gavel. However, such an achievement likely represents the partisanship embroiling the U.S. Senate.

“This is a historic day,” Schumer proclaimed in the company of Harris. “The record Vice President Harris sets today is significant not just because of the number but of what she’s made possible.”

Schumer boasted that Harris has been a central figure in advancing the legislative goals of the Biden administration. Among the feats cited by Schumer included the contentious Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 and the COVID-related American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

Harris celebrated the feat, claiming that due to her vote, Senate Democrats have confirmed 161 federal judges. “I’m truly honored and proud,” Harris said.

Echoing both Harris and Schumer, the White House issued a statement, hailing the tie-breaking votes as “consequential” within the Biden administration

“The Vice President’s tie-breaking votes have been consequential in moving the Biden-Harris agenda forward over the last three years,” the White House remarked in a press statement, according to Politico.

It added, “These tie-breaking votes have helped deliver for the American people by lowering costs for American families, creating good-paying jobs in local communities, and providing economic relief for small businesses across the country.”

Harris’s latest vote came to advance Biden’s nomination of lawyer Loren AliKhan as U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., opposed AliKhan’s nomination and joined Republicans in an attempt to block the nomination.

Harris is likely to return for the final confirmation of AliKhan, Politico reported Tuesday.

Since Biden took office in 2021, Harris has faced challenges in effectively addressing a specific policy agenda. Initially, she was tasked with addressing the illegal immigration chaos at the southern border, but later in the year, she was appointed to oversee the rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence.

Most recently, she has been appointed as a gun control czar, a move that drew sarcastic praise from Republicans who celebrated her perceived inability to move the Biden agenda.

Study: Kids w/ Cats Face Greater Risk of Schizophrenia

(Headline USA) A new meta-study by researchers from the University of Queensland, Australia found that owning a cat could increase the risk of schizophrenia in young adults, OANN reported.

The team conducted a review of 17 studies from 11 countries, including the U.S. and the United Kingdom, published over the last 44 years. They found that young adults exposed to cats had approximately twice the odds of developing schizophrenia before the age of 25.

The researchers argued the link is likely due to a parasite commonly found in cats called Toxoplasma gondii, which can enter the body’s bloodstream via a bite.

The parasite can then enter the central nervous system and affect neurotransmitters in the brain, potentially causing personality changes, psychotic symptoms and even disorders such as schizophrenia.

The study confirmed this potential cause by directly comparing subjects who had been bitten by a cat to those who had not been bitten. Those who had been bitten had higher scores on the schizotypy scale, which is a questionnaire that measures traits of disorganized patterns of thinking, according to the researchers.

Other scientists have criticized the review, arguing it did not properly account for other factors, such as economic background and family history.

For example, it has been well documented that young men are more susceptible to schizophrenia, with symptoms usually appearing when they are in their 20s.

Another recent study found a potential link between schizophrenia and marijuana use. Daniel Levey, a medical neuroscientist at Yale and the co-author of the study, said he and his team were able to identify genome regions linking cannabis addiction to “psychiatric disorders, abuse of other substances such as tobacco, and possibly even an elevated risk of developing lung cancer.”

The researchers went on to warn that widespread marijuana legalization could have “substantial public health risks if the usage increases.”

Nelson Mandela’s Granddaughter Demands Brits Pay Reparations for Colonialism

(Headline USA) Former South African President Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter is demanding that the British government and its royal family pay reparations to African nations to make up for the past “colonization” of the continent, Breitbart reported.

Ndileka Mandela, a South African political activist, was asked in an interview with the BBC about King Charles III’s state trip to Kenya last month, during which he apologized for British colonization.

“The wrongdoings of the past are a cause of the greatest sorrow and the deepest regret,” the British monarch said in a speech during the state visit. “They were abhorrent, unjustifiable acts of violence committed against Kenyans, as they waged a painful struggle for independence and sovereignty. And, for that, there can be no excuse.”

Mandela said in response that acknowledging the harms of “colonization” was a good place to start, but she argued that only monetary reparations could help Africans moving forward.

“If there can be an acknowledgment of what was done to countries to colonize because we are still suffering a great deal from colonization, in as far as our culture as black people is concerned,” she claimed. “So there has got to be the first admission of the fact that, yes, we acknowledge that we displaced you as a people. Then we can talk of reparations.”

Asked whether the reparations should come from the royal family, specifically, Mandela said, “Yes … that’s where healing begins.”

South Africa was considered a British colony until 1961 and continued to live under the Apartheid system of segregation between white and black South Africans until the early 1990s.

Nelson Mandela, who had been jailed for 27 years as an anti-Apartheid activist, went on to become its first black leader.

Nonetheless, skeptics contend that British colonialism also had a positive impact on Africa’s history. For example, the British government played a vital role in ending the transatlantic slave trade, becoming the first country in the world to abolish slavery.

The Royal Navy’s West Africa Squadron captured more than 1,600 slave trade ships and is estimated to have freed more than 150,000 African slaves.

‘Bastard’: Smiling Biden Walks Away When Asked About Hamas Hostages

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden faced pressing questions about the Israel-Hamas war, specifically concerning Americans held hostage by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. However, Biden appeared inexplicably uninterested in the question.

As Biden exited the White House en route to lavish campaign events in Boston, Massachusetts, a reporter shouted questions about the hostages in Gaza.

“Sir, the hostages? Hostages! The American hostages! Are they…?” a reporter asked Biden. His response? A smile, as he continued to Marine One without addressing the inquiry.

As reported by the Boston Globe and confirmed by Biden’s schedule reviewed by Headline USA, Biden landed in Boston on Tuesday for a series of campaign events aimed at fundraising.

Among these events were a reception hosted by former U.S. Ambassador Alan Solomont and a benefit concert featuring songwriter James Taylor.

Biden’s campaign efforts coincide with global conflicts, with the recent Israel-Hamas conflict being one of the most prominent.

On Oct. 7, Hamas conducted an inhumane terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of at least 1,400 individuals in southern Israel, including American citizens. About 200 individuals were taken hostage in Gaza. While 105 have been released, the remainder remain captive.

The White House sought to downplay Biden’s apparent dismissal of the reporter’s questions about the Hamas hostages.

In response to criticism from the RNC’s political Twitter account, Andrew Bates, White House Deputy Press Secretary, highlighted Biden’s alleged involvement in seeking the release of the hostages.

“You mean like the 100+ hostages the Israeli government explicitly said @POTUS was key to freeing, and the others he’s working hard to get released?” Bates claimed.

Despite Bates’s claims, there was continued disapproval from individuals reacting to the video. Republican press aide Anna Kelly remarked, “Biden’s too busy jetting off to his New England donors to acknowledge as many as eight Americans trapped by terrorists. What a disgrace.”

Additionally, a Twitter user commented, “Not a care in the world or a thought in his empty head…,” while another simply stated, “That bastard.”

This would not be the first time Biden comes under fire for seemingly ignoring questions about Americans in dire situations. During the summer, Biden faced scathing criticism for dismissing questions about the Americans who passed away in the Maui wildfires.

White House Refuses to Condemn Jayapal for Downplaying Rape of Israeli Women

(Headline USA) The White House refused on Monday to condemn comments from Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., dismissing allegations of sexual violence by Hamas terrorists against Israeli women.

Jayapal made the remarks during an interview with CNN over the weekend when asked about the Left’s apparent silence condemning the violence committed against Israeli women on Oct. 7.

“I think we have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians,” Jayapal responded.

“I think we cannot say that one war crime deserves another,” she continued. “That is not what international humanitarian law says.”

During a press conference on Monday, White House press secretary Karine Jean–Pierre was asked whether the Biden administration condemned Jayapal’s equivocation.

Jean–Pierre said the White House condemned the “reprehensible” use of rape as a weapon of war, but stopped short of calling out Jayapal.

“I can only speak for the president—that’s who I can speak for,” Jean–Pierre replied. “We’ve been clear that what Hamas did is absolutely reprehensible, full stop. We’re going to continue to be clear about that.”

Pressed again on what the president thinks of Jayapal’s remarks, Jean–Pierre said: “I just commented on it. I just laid out what we believe is unacceptable.”

Jean–Pierre was once again given the chance to condemn Jayapal on The View on Tuesday, but punted the question twice.

“I’m going to let the representative speak for herself,” Jean–Pierre said.

“I just can’t speak for her. I speak for the President of the United States,” she continued. “I am the White House press secretary, obviously, so that’s who I speak for.

While the White House declined to condemn Jayapal, several other Democrats spoke out against her “outrageous” attempt to “both sides” the sexual violence committed against Israeli women.

“Hamas terrorists raped Israeli women and girls,” said Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla. “The only ‘balanced’ approach is to condemn sexual violence loudly, forcefully and without exceptions. Outrageous for anyone to ‘both sides’ sexual violence.”
