Abbott Launches Chicago-Bound Immigrant Flights Amid Mayor’s Lawsuit

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott began sponsoring Chicago-bound charter flights for illegal aliens in response to the rampant influx of illegal aliens in Texas

The flights are part of Abbott’s strategy to draw attention to the unprecedented and uncontrolled flow of illegal immigrants on the southern border by busing immigrants to sanctuary cities, among them Chicago and New York City.

Abbott mentioned Chicago’s attempts to block immigrant buses, prompting Texas to fund these charter flights.“Sanctuary city Chicago started obstructing and targeting our busing mission,” Abbott said on Twitter.

“Texas will now expand our operation to include flights to Chicago. Until Biden steps up to secure the border, we will continue to provide overwhelmed Texas border towns with much-needed relief,” he added.

According to Fox News, Chicago is suing the buses that transport the immigrants in a bid to block the entry of more illegal aliens to the city.

The first charter flight carried 120 immigrants from El Paso International Airport to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, with immigrants signing waivers voluntarily before departure.

The announcement of the charter flights came less than 24 hours after Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, a Democrat, rebuked the arrival of immigrants in Chicago. Johnson claimed that Chicago was already facing rampant homelessness and other health crises.

“I want you to hear me good: They’re showing up sick. Do you hear me? They’re showing up sick,” declared Johnson of the immigrants, warning that Chicago could not handle the immigrant influx.

Johnson came under fire following the death of Jean Carlos Martinez, a 5-year-old migrant child in the care of a homeless shelter in Chicago. Martinez reportedly fell ill at the immigrant shelter and was later taken to a Chicago hospital, where he passed away.

“The governor of Texas needs to take a look in the mirror of the chaos that he is causing for this country,” Johnson said, blaming Abbott for the passing of migrant child.

“This is not just a Chicago dynamic—he is attacking our country,” he added.

Abbott, one of the most vocal critics of the Biden administration’s handling of the border chaos, signed a law earlier this week granting Texas law enforcement authorities the power to arrest individuals crossing the border illegally.

“Texas will not allow Biden’s border crisis to put our state and our nation at risk,” Abbott said of the law.

Hackers Steal Private Data from 36 Million Xfinity Customers

(Eli Pacheco, Headline USA) Hackers tapped into a critically rated security vulnerability through Comcast, granting them access to sensitive data for nearly 36 million customers of its TV and internet division, Xfinity.

The breach, confirmed on Tuesday, started in August, according to a TechCrunch report. The report referred to the vulnerability as CitrixBleed, which affects networking devices for big corporations. Citrix produced a patch to combat the hack in October, but many companies didn’t implement it in time.

Some customers might have had key data compromised, too, Comcast said. This data includes:

  • Names
  • Contact information
  • Date of birth
  • The last four digits of Social Security numbers
  • Secret questions and answers

Boeing and Commercial Bank of China have also been compromised through CitrixBleed, according to TechCrunch. The law firm Allen & Overy is also affected.

In a notice delivered on Monday, Xfinity said it would require customers to reset their passwords, and it also recommended two-factor or multi-factor authentication to secure their accounts.

The company wouldn’t say how many Xfinity customers the breach affected, according to TechCrunch. However, Comcast’s filing with Maine’s attorney general said it compromised almost 35.8 million customers’ data.

The company’s latest earnings report put the total number of broadband customers at 32 million.

Comcast said its internal systems were compromised from Oct. 16-19 and that malicious activity was undetected until Oct. 25. Xfinity said it had determined hackers had “acquired” data by Nov. 16, including usernames and hashed passwords.

Hashed passwords are scrambled. However, some hashing algorithms can also be hacked.

Also in the note: Comcast said its data analysis continues, leaving the possibility of more data leaks. “We will provide additional notices as appropriate,” the notice read.

The report didn’t mention if hackers sent Xfinity a ransom demand or if Comcast filed the incident with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The regulator’s data breach reporting rules require it, but the Comcast spokesperson wouldn’t confirm if the company had.

DeSantis Dismisses Activist Court’s Ruling Against Trump: ‘I Qualify…’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis dismissed the widespread outcry against Colorado after the state’s Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump‘s alleged role on Jan. 6 disqualified him from seeking the presidency in 2024.

DeSantis, in competition with Trump for the Republican nomination for president, claimed that his candidacy remains untouched by the legal challenges. As a result, he won’t protest the decision by removing his name from the ballot, something tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy pledged to do.

“Would you do the same?” asked a Newsmax host Sharla McBride to DeSantis on Wednesday, to which the Florida governor responded, “No, I think that’s just playing into the left.”

He added, “I think the case will get overturned by the Supreme Court, but I qualify for all the ballots. I’m competing in all the states and I’m going to accumulate the delegates necessary. That’s the whole name of the game.”

DeSantis echoed Ramaswamy, also seeking the Republican nomination, by saying that the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify Trump from the ballot was political

Specifically, the state’s court ruled that Trump’s alleged role in what the left has dubbed as an “insurrection” on Jan. 6 bars him from seeking the presidency under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

In response to the ruling, Ramaswamy pledged to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary ballot until Trump’s ballot eligibility is reinstated.

“I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley do the same immediately – or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country,” Ramaswamy said in a Twitter post announcing his pledge.

Ramaswamy was hailed as a hero by several Republican personalities, including some of Trump’s supporters. “I can be pretty harsh on you Vivek because I don’t trust people in politics saying all the right things,” said Elijan Schaffer, a journalist for the Gateway Pundit. “But this is a character test and you passed. Huge respect.”

Conservative activist Riley Gaines, a DeSantis supporter, applauded Ramaswamy’s pledge. “Fair elections & ultimately America as we know it are a thing of the past,” she said.

DeSantis, on the other hand, was slammed by Trump supporters. “DeSantis continues to become more unlikable every time he opens his mouth,” said investigative journalist Laura Loomer on Twitter.

Podcast host Tim Pool said DeSantis sees this as an opportunity to win the primary. “No one honest sees this as anything other than Ron trying to win power. If he really believed it would be overturned he would agree with Vivek,” he said.

‘Squad’ Rep. Blasted as Hypocrite for Seeking Extra Security from Police Dept. He Defunded

(Headline USA) “Squad” Rep. Greg Casar, D-Texas, is under fire this week for requesting additional security in his neighborhood from the Austin Police Department after he voted to defund the department back in 2020.

Casar reportedly made the request through the U.S. Capitol Police, which forwarded the request to the Austin Police Department, according to Fox News.

He did not specify what threat or reason that justified the additional security, and U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement that it would not comment on “any of the potential security measures that are available to all of the members of Congress.”

Casar’s request comes just days after he sent a letter to the Justice Department accusing the Austin Police Department of racism and discrimination against people with mental health issues.

There is a “need for systemic reforms to the Department’s policies and practices of excessive and lethal use of force, racial discrimination, and discrimination against people with mental health conditions,” Casar wrote.

He was also a prominent advocate of defunding the Austin Police Department in the wake of the Black Lives Matter riots. At the time, Casar was a member of the Austin City Council and celebrated the budget cuts that he helped push through.

“We did it!!” Casar tweeted in August 2020. “Austin City Council just reduced APD’s budget by over $100 million *and* reinvested resources into our community’s safety and well-being.”

Former Austin police officer Dennis Farris, who also serves as president of the Austin Police Retired Officers Association, blasted Casar as a hypocrite.

“A week ago, he was calling the Austin Police Department a racist department that targeted black and brown people, and this week he’s asking the exact same department to do enhanced patrols around his house,” Farris told Fox News.

Farris added that the department takes seriously its responsibility to keep everyone— including Casar—safe, but noted that there may not be enough resources available to the police because of Casar’s policies.

“It doesn’t matter what political party they’re in. If they ask us for our help, we will give it to them. The last thing we want is something happening to them,” Farris explained.

However, “My issue with it … [is] the whole, ‘We hate the cops, we hate the cops, we hate the cops. Oh, please, come help us now,'” Farris added. “He is the architect. He is the architect of defund the cops in Austin. He started this whole mess.”

Trans Activist Who Campaigned for Pa. Dems Charged w/ Sexually Assaulting Children

(Headline USA) A prominent transgender activist who has campaigned on behalf of several Democratic politicians was arrested on Monday and charged with multiple counts of child sexual abuse and assault.

Kendall Stephens, a biological male who identifies as a woman, became a well-known activist in Pennsylvania politics and LGBT circles after being allegedly assaulted in 2020.

Stephens has appeared at events for Sen. Bob Casey, D-Penn., and Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro even bragged in 2022 that he had secured Stephens’s endorsement.

“Nearly three years ago, Kendall Stephens endured a frightening crime that was intended to demean and silence her,” Krasner said in 2021, using Stephens’s “preferred” female pronouns.

“Instead, Ms. Stephens continues to speak out loudly on behalf of other queer victims of violent crime—all while pursuing graduate studies,” he continued. “This criminal case is now closed, but Ms. Stephens will never stop fighting for the respect, support and protections that queer people deserve in order to live safely, freely and joyfully.”

But this week, Stephens was charged with eight crimes—including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, unlawful contact with minors, indecent assault of underaged individuals, endangering the welfare of children, and corruption of minors.

Law enforcement said they began their investigation into Stephens three months ago after the grandmother of one of the victims informed police that Stephens sexually assaulted her grandchild. The investigation then revealed that Stephens allegedly sexually assaulted two boys, ages 14 and 9.

Stephens allegedly abused one boy on at least three occasions when he was just 8 years old.

Another victim reportedly told police that Stephens gave him gifts “out of nowhere” to “keep him quiet.” Stephens also allegedly threatened that the victim would be locked up if he told anyone about the assault.

Krasner’s office has referred to the case to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General given the conflict of interest regarding Stephens’s past political advocacy for Krasner.

Stephens is due in court for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 29. A judge set bail at $250,000.

Beijing Will Reunify Taiwan w/ China, Xi Told Biden

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was recently revealed that Chinese President Xi Jinping warned Joe Biden last month that China will “reunify” with Taiwan.

In November 2023, Xi and Biden met during the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to discuss different important issues such as strengthening military communications and halting the production of fentanyl products, according to the Daily Caller.

During one of those meetings at the summit, Xi explicitly told Biden that China would “reunify” with Taiwan, both former and current U.S. officials said. The officials also said that, according to Xi, predictions that the communist country would invade and annex the island by 2025 or 2027 are false because Beijing hasn’t yet set a timetable for the operation.

China would prefer to peacefully reunify with Taiwan rather than have to take it by force, Xi told Biden.

The officials also added that Beijing wanted Biden to make a public announcement during the summit, in which he would denounce Taiwan’s independence and express his support for China’s plan to “reunify” with Taiwan.

The request was rejected by the White House, even though Secretary of State Antony Blinken previously made a similar statement immediately after he was told to do so by Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi during a June 2023 press conference in Beijing.

The news came when China became increasingly confrontational toward Taiwan by conducting air and naval exercises that took place dangerously close to the island. In addition to that, China also employed “cognitive warfare” campaigns within the island to undermine the faith in the democratic institutions and elected officials of the country among the Taiwanese people.

Xi was assertive with Biden but not aggressive, according to the officials.

“[Xi’s] language was no different than what he has always said. He is always tough on Taiwan. He’s always had a tough line,” one of the U.S. officials said.

Previously, Biden said multiple times that the U.S. would go to war to defend Taiwan if China ever invaded and the White House walked back these statements.

Calif. Lt. Gov. Urges Secretary of State to ‘Explore Every Legal Option’ to Block Trump

(California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis urged state secretary Shirley Weber to “explore every legal option” to remove former president Donald Trump from the 2024 primary ballot, claiming “California must stand on the right side of history,” and that “this is a dire matter that puts at stake the sanctity of our constitution and our democracy.”

On Tuesday, the Colorado Supreme Court voted 3-4 to block former President Donald Trump from receiving votes on the 2024 presidential primary ballot, saying he is disqualified because he “engaged in an insurrection,” a reference to his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol protests gone awry.

Noting the list of certified candidates for the 2024 primary must be certified by Dec. 28, the letter from Kounalakis cited the Colorado decision, which she says is “about honoring the rule of law in our country and protecting the fundamental pillars of our democracy,” as the impetus for her call for Weber to act.

The Colorado decision does not take effect until Jan 4., giving the U.S. Supreme Court two weeks to intervene in the case.

‘It’s Self-Evident’: Biden Reacts to Colorado Kicking Trump from 2024 Ballot

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden attributed an alleged insurrection after the 2020 presidential election to former President Donald Trump, echoing a Colorado Supreme Court decision that kicked his leading 2024 opponent from the primary ballot.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesdays, Biden claimed that evidence suggests Trump led what Democrats have described as an illegal effort to overturn the results of the previous presidential election.

“It’s self-evident. You saw it all. Now whether the 14th Amendment applies, I’ll let the court make that decision,” Biden alleged. “But he certainly supported an insurrection. No question about it. None. Zero.”

Biden’s remarks came in response to the Colorado highest court’s decision to kick Trump from the Republican primary ballot, arguing that the former president’s alleged role on Jan. 6 violated the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, disqualifying him from seeking the presidency again.

The state Supreme Court’s ruling was part of a broader campaign to prevent Trump from pursuing the nation’s highest office.

While similar legal challenges led by anti-Trump activists in other key states have failed, Democrats applauded this decision, labeling Trump as a threat to democracy.

On the other hand, Republicans argued that removing a leading presidential candidate, surpassing the incumbent in several polls, constitutes a real threat to democracy.

Trump vehemently criticized the Colorado decision in a series of fired-up posts on Truth Social. “WHAT A SHAME FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!” he declared in one post. In another statement, he called on Biden to dismiss what he described as “FAKE POLITICAL INDICTMENTS.”

Republican critics anticipated the Supreme Court would likely overturn the Colorado decision. But Trump’s presidential bid faces other challenges beyond the ballot eligibility lawsuits.

Specifically, Trump faces two federal indictments: one concerning alleged mishandling of classified documents and another for purportedly obstructing the certification of the 2020 elections on Jan. 6.

Moreover, the former president was hit with criminal charges for questioning the 2020 election results in Georgia and allegedly falsifying business records in hush money payments in New York.

All these cases have been initiated by Democrats, including Attorney General Merrick Garland through Special Counsel Jack Smith, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Feds Call Parents Who Oppose ‘Trans’ Agenda Potentially Abusive

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A document revealed that a federally funded “home visiting” program advised service providers to watch for signs of abuse against “gender-diverse children,” using parents who oppose the “transgender” ideology by denying their child to cross-dress as an example.

The Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting [MIECHV] Program released guidance for government workers who visit homes at the request of families, in which the MIECHV categorized steering a child away from “gender expression” that does not correspond with his or her biological sex as abuse, according to the Daily Caller.

For example, the document “Parental Acceptance of Gender Expression in Young Children” informed home visitors it is important for them to “recognize and address the abuse and neglect that may result, either directly or indirectly, from rejection of a child’s gender expression.”

“Gender-diverse children are frequently the targets of violence or harm — by other children, caregivers, or family members,” the document said.

While the document additionally claimed that accepting a child’s “gender expression” can “protect against depression, suicidal thoughts, and suicidal attempts,” studies from different scientists and doctors indicated the opposite result, saying that LGBT activists may actually drive the confused children to suicide.

“It is insane to vilify parents simply for wanting their gender-confused children to feel comfortable in their own bodies. If anyone is guilty of abuse, it is the gender ideologues who feed kids the pernicious lie that they can somehow change their sex, setting them on a pathway to destructive body modifications,” American Principles Project president Terry Schilling said.

In addition to that, he said that this is “just the latest chilling example of the Biden administration’s war on families.”

“We are rapidly headed down a road where every parent in this country who opposes the transgender agenda risks losing custody of their kids. The grave threat to families posed by this administration cannot be ignored. Pro-family Americans must fight it at every turn: in Congress and the state legislatures, in the courts, and most importantly, at the ballot box next year,” Schilling said.

Former NFL Player Goes on Racist Rant Against White Players, Calls for Segregated Games

(Headline USA) Former NFL player Rashard Mendenhall went on a racist rant against white people this week, arguing that the Pro Bowl should be segregated between black and white players, WPDE reported.

Mendenhall, who played as a running ack for the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, tweeted on Monday that he was sick of “average white guys commenting” on the sport.

“Y’all not even good at football,” Mendenhall added. “Can we please replace the Pro Bowl with an All-Black vs. All-White bowl so these cats can stop trying to teach me who’s good at football.”

When critics blasted Mendenhall for promoting reverse racism, he pulled the victim card.

“Simply tired of being berated by people who arent experts in de game,” he said in the tweet, replete with typographical errors.

“We jus pretend like I’m the only athlete tired of fans talking trash?” he continued. “You dis upset over a single tweet. What about us? Like me or not, I’m a GREAT in football. This proves my point, u can’t speak on ball alone.”

Another former NFL player, future Hall of Fame defensive end JJ Watt, who is white, jokingly responded to Mendenhall’s tweet, admitting that an all-white team would “get cooked at corner,” referring to a defensive position that is largely dominated by black NFL players.

When asked why he was covering for Mendenhall’s bigoted views, Watt said he didn’t find them offensive.

“Buddy, listen… We don’t need to be offended by everything in the entire world. He said white guys can’t play football,” Watt tweeted in response

“I thought to myself ‘I’m a white guy. I’m very good at football’ and concluded that his statement had no validity,” he added. “Instead of arguing, I had some fun. End.”

Others, however, didn’t think Mendenhall’s views were entertaining.

“I said it years ago, Rashard Mendenhall needs mental help, and a lot of it,” Steelers podcast host Christopher Carter said.

“Dude has been a head case for a while,” Carter added. “Bigotry like that deserves no grace.”

Mendenhall previously provoked controversy by accusing white Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of being overtly racist.
