Bronx DA Official Quits Amid Child Predator Allegations

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Prosecutor William C.C. Kemp-Neal resigned from his position at the Bronx District Attorney’s office after an anti-child predator group accused him of attempting to meet with a 13-year-old boy.

The group, Dads Against Predators, released video footage purportedly showing Kemp-Neal at a Bronx Target and then fleeing after being confronted by a member of the group.

“Excuse me, everybody! This man right here came to meet a 13-year-old boy,” one vigilante shouted as a bystander chased Kemp-Neal.

The New York Post reported the video was recorded on July 8 at about 8:00 p.m. However, Jay Carnicom, the head of Dads Against Predators, shared the video on Twitter on July 11.

“Bronx man trying to meet a child gets taken down by local hero,” Carnicom captioned the Twitter video, garnering over 4.5 million views.

According to the Post, the Bronx District Attorney’s Office paid Kemp-Neal $84,999 annually as an assistant district attorney. He allegedly handled cases involving assault, harassment and child endangerment.

“I didn’t,” Kemp-Neal replied.

In a statement to the outlet, a spokesperson for Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said that Kemp-Neal was no longer employed by the DA. He left the office on July 17, days after the video was released.

A subsequent video showed local law enforcement responding to the Target parking lot. According to the Post, an investigation is underway.

The now-former Bronx prosecutor has not been charged with any wrongdoing.

Chelsea Clinton Thinks about Ambassadorship if Kamala Harris Wins

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Chelsea Clinton said that she wanted to become an ambassador if Kamala Harris became the president, with some people assuming that one of the reasons why Bill and Hillary Clinton endorsed Harris was because they wanted her to appoint their daughter to this role.

“Chelsea really wants to be the ambassador to the U.K. There’s a reason why Bill and Hillary came out in the first five minutes to support Kamala’s presidential bid — they were currying favor,” a Clinton source told the New York Post, adding that Clintons have been “working on this idea for a long time.”

The source said that Chelsea, vice-chair of the Clinton Foundation, would also not decline a similar job in France.

“I can well imagine that the U.K. ambassadorship is an aspiration for Chelsea, although she is a bit junior still — and London usually goes to a massive donor or fundraiser,” a longtime British embassy official, now based in London, said.

The Post’s source added that foreign countries “love high-profile people as ambassadors because it brings them more attention,” adding that they “would rather have someone more famous and less rich.”

Chelsea has ties to the U.K. because she attended Oxford University, where she got her Master of Philosophy degree in international relations in 2003 and her doctorate degree from the same university in 2014.

“She is 44 and has a long-held ambition for this. It’s important for her to have her own legacy,” the source said, adding that Chelsea “has always wanted to spend more time abroad, much like Caroline Kennedy,” the current ambassador to Australia and a former ambassador to Japan under Barack Obama.

Hillary’s representative denied the theory that the Clintons endorsed Harris to ensure that their daughter would get the job.

“Among stupid things said by clueless people, that’s pretty high up there,” the representative said.

Google Shamelessly Props Up Kamala Harris in Searches for Trump

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Google started interfering in the 2024 presidential race by redirecting people searching for Donald Trump’s name toward news about Kamala Harris.

The MRC NewsBusters’ findings supported reports from different people, including Elon Musk, who pointed out that when users search for “Donald Trump” or “Trump rally,” the banner with news results listed Harris’s name.

When searching for “Donald Trump” on July 30, 2024, the news source discovered that Google displayed a “knowledge panel” about Trump, including his name and former title. Google also provided a panel labeled “News about Harris·Trump.”

“Harris keeps calling Trump and Vance ‘weird.’ Here’s why,” reads the headline of the Associated Press propaganda piece. Google also showed a Washington Post headline, “Trump, with a history of sexist attacks, again faces a female opponent.”

On July 31, 2024, the news source searched for the term “Trump Rally,” prompting favorable news panels to Harris. The first news panel’s title read, “Kamala Harris rally in Atlanta.”

On the other hand, when searching for the term “Kamala Harris,” Google showed the results about her. As expected, Trump’s name is not mentioned in either the first or second Google news panels in the resulting search.

“Google is reliably shameless. It consistently manipulates data to achieve its political goals. Yet again, it appears to be altering its algorithms to feed the American people a positive narrative about one candidate while disseminating terrible accusations against the other,” MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider said about the recent anti-Trump censorship.

The news source reported that Google changed the results it produced for searches of the “Trump rally” on Aug. 1, 2024, after facing backlash from people on social media.

It wasn’t the only time when the far-left search engine tried to influence the result of the upcoming 2024 election. Earlier this week, Google attempted to erase the fact that Trump was almost assassinated on July 13, 2024, by refusing to provide the autocomplete options even if a person types the entire phrase “Assassination attempt on…”

Ohio Sec. of State Orders Removal of Almost 500 Non-Citizens from Voter Rolls

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) On Aug. 1, 2024, Ohio Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose ordered county election boards to remove 499 non-citizens from their voter rolls.

The Daily Wire reported that the news came after LaRose audited the state’s voter registration database before the 2024 election.

The audit began in May of this year after the Ohio Public Integrity Division found that 137 people in Ohio were registered to vote, even though they confirmed twice that they were not Americans.

According to LaRose’s office, LaRose’s latest order targets more individuals who confirmed to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) that they are non-citizens. A review of the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database system also confirmed that status.

“I swore an oath to uphold the constitution of our state, and that document clearly states that only United States citizens can participate in Ohio elections. That means I’m duty-bound to make sure people who haven’t yet earned citizenship in this country aren’t voting,” he said.

LaRose also said that the investigation into Ohio’s voter rolls is ongoing as officials push to prevent voter fraud in the 2024 election. People affected by his order can still submit a provisional ballot, which will be counted if they prove they are American citizens.

“I want to give these folks the benefit of the doubt and say that most of them didn’t intend to break the law. We want to make sure a mistaken registration doesn’t become an illegal vote. We also want to make sure that lawfully registered citizens can participate seamlessly in the process, especially if their citizenship status changed recently,” he added.

On Aug. 1, 2024, LaRose also called on Congress to pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, a bill introduced by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, in May 2024. The bill would require documentation proving U.S. citizenship from anyone who registers to vote in U.S. elections. In July 2024, the SAVE ACT narrowly passed the House after nearly every Democrat voted against it. Not surprisingly, Joe Biden also opposed the bill.

Stocks Plummet: Following California, US Job Report Triggers Recession Indicator

(Kenneth Schrupp, The Center Square) The United States triggered a highly accurate recession indicator as recession fears led to the largest stock selloff since December 2022. California, the nation’s largest economy, triggered the same indicator in late 2023.

On the morning of August 2, the United States published unemployment data for July showing a sharp increase from 4.1% in June to 4.3% as hiring cooled during the typically busy summer months.

With July’s data, the United States triggered the Sahmn Recession Indicator, which identifies the start of a recession when the “three-month moving average of the unemployment rate rises by 0.5 percentage points or more relative to its low during the previous 12 months.”

The indicator has had “no false positives” and accurately indicated the last six U.S. recessions.

California triggered the Sahm Recession Indicator in March 2023, pushing the state into fiscal emergency as private jobs declined and public sector and public-supported jobs grew.

With $46.8 billion cut, shifted, or delayed to balance the 2024-2025 budget, California has little fiscal leeway to increase spending to lessen the blow of a recession.

As of June 18, the Congressional Budget Office estimates the United States federal government will have a $1.9 trillion budget deficit for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, around which the federal debt will reach 100% of American gross domestic product. This estimate relies on 2% economic growth in 2024 and 2025 that eventually declines to 1.8% in 2026 and beyond. Should the economy grow more slowly or contract due to a recession, deficits would grow further in the absence of higher taxes and/or lower spending.

By fiscal year 2025-2026, the CBO projects interest on the national debt will exceed $1 trillion.

Department of Justice Sues TikTok Over Alleged Child Privacy Violations

(Brett Rowland, The Center Square) The Department of Justice sued TikTok and its parent company, China-based ByteDance, on Friday for alleged violations of an online privacy law for children.

“The Department is deeply concerned that TikTok has continued to collect and retain children’s personal information despite a court order barring such conduct,” Acting Associate Attorney General Benjamin Mizer said in a statement. “With this action, the Department seeks to ensure that TikTok honors its obligation to protect children’s privacy rights and parents’ efforts to protect their children.”

The Justice Department, joined by the Federal Trade Commission, filed a civil lawsuit against TikTok Inc., ByteDance Ltd., and their affiliates for alleged violations of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

The privacy act prohibits website operators from knowingly collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children younger than 13, unless they provide notice to and obtain consent from their parents. It further requires website operators to delete personal information collected from children at their parents’ request.

Friday’s lawsuit follows another filed in 2019. At that time, the government sued TikTok’s predecessor, Musical.ly, for COPPA violations. Since 2019, TikTok has been under a court order that requires the company to take specific measures to comply with the privacy law.

Prosecutors allege that from 2019 on, TikTok knowingly allowed children to create regular TikTok accounts and to use the short-form video and messaging service to interact with adults and others on the TikTok platform, according to the complaint.

Prosecutors said the company collected and kept a wide variety of personal information from child users without notifying or obtaining consent from their parents. Even for accounts that were created in “Kids Mode” – a pared-back version of TikTok intended for children younger than 13 – the defendants unlawfully collected and kept child user’s email addresses and other types of personal information, according to the complaint. Further, when parents discovered their children’s accounts and asked TikTok to delete the accounts, the company failed to honor those requests. Prosecutors also accused the company of having ineffectual internal policies for locating and deleting TikTok accounts created by children.

The company denied the allegation in a statement.

“We disagree with these allegations, many of which relate to past events and practices that are factually inaccurate or have been addressed,” according to the statement. “We are proud of our efforts to protect children, and we will continue to update and improve the platform. To that end, we offer age-appropriate experiences with stringent safeguards, proactively remove suspected underage users, and have voluntarily launched features such as default screentime limits, Family Pairing, and additional privacy protections for minors.”

The company faces a number of challenges, including a law passed earlier this year that would force divesture of the company. In May, TikTok filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a law that requires a sale or ban of the popular app. In April, Congress passed and President Joe Biden enacted a law that requires China’s ByteDance to sell its ownership in TikTok or the app will be banned in the U.S. Some experts have said China could use the app’s monitoring capabilities against Americans.

TikTok’s Chinese ownership has been a source of concern for years. Critics have said TikTok is an extension of the Chinese Communist Party, as The Center Square previously reported.

DHS Suspends Parole Program Flights Months Before Election

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) – Three months before the November election in which the presumptive Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala, is likely to run for president, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced it was suspending a parole program she, as the president’s “border czar,“ has overseen with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

DHS announced on Friday that it was suspending flights it had been using for years to bring Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans into the country, who otherwise do not qualify for legal entry under current law.

“Out of an abundance of caution, DHS has temporarily paused the issuance of advanced travel authorizations for new beneficiaries while it undertakes a review of supporter applications. DHS will restart application processing as quickly as possible, with appropriate safeguards,” DHS spokeswoman Erin Heeter said in a statement.

Mayorkas created the “CHNV parole program“ to fly in hundreds of thousands of CHNV parolees at the taxpayer’s expense. It’s one of more than a dozen issues identified by the U.S. House on Homeland Security as evidence to impeach Mayorkas, The Center Square first reported.

A coalition of 21 attorneys general, led by Texas, also sued to stop it, arguing it’s an “illegal visa system.“ Federal judges and members of Congress also argue that it’s illegal.

An internal review from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services identified tens of thousands of potentially fraudulent CHNV applications. Foreign nationals released into the country used fake Social Security Numbers, fake phone numbers and listed the same physical address on nearly 20,000 applications, according to several news reports.

Mayorkas and other Biden administration officials have claimed those released into the country were “thoroughly vetted.“ Multiple DHS Inspector General reports have found this not to be the case, including one that found no vetting was conducted at a major international airport prior to releasing them into the U.S., The Center Square reported.

Mayorkas, President Joe Biden and others have argued that illegal border crossings are down by not counting those being released through the parole program, The Center Square first reported. Instead of being counted as illegal border crossers between ports of entry, nearly half a million were flown into the country through the program contrary to federal law, The Center Square reported. They include 104,130 Cubans, 194,027 Haitians, 86,101 Nicaraguans, and 110,541 Venezuelans, according to recent U.S. Customs and Border Protection data.

But these numbers are actually higher.

“As of mid-October 2023, there were 1.6 million inadmissible aliens awaiting travel authorizations through the CHNV program,“ the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security found as part of an investigation into the program. It also discovered that DHS was using 50 airports worldwide to fly them in, The Center Square reported.

None have a legal basis to enter the U.S. before being paroled through the CHNV program, DHS documents the committee obtained state.

“All individuals paroled into the United States are, by definition, inadmissible, including those paroled under the CHNV Processes,” one of the DHS documents states.

Additionally, CHNV parolees are being arrested nationwide for committing brutal, violent crimes against Americans, The Center Square reported.

Suspending the CHNV flights, U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green, R-Tenn., said, “vindicates every warning we have ever issued about the unlawful CHNV mass-parole program. It also exposes the lie by administration officials, like now-impeached DHS Secretary Mayorkas, about the quality and extent of the vetting process—not just for the inadmissible aliens seeking entry, but those attempting to sponsor them. We issued a subpoena last year to compel documents regarding this program, and while DHS partially complied, the department remains delinquent in producing certain documents and communications relating to the program.

“This is exactly what happens when you create an unlawful mass-parole program in order to spare your administration the political embarrassment and bad optics of overrun borders,“ he said, adding that the CHNV program should be immediately terminated.

With Texas leading the charge to stop the CHNV program, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said, “Biden/Harris want you to think he secured the border. They just bypassed it by flying illegal immigrants OVER the border. They say they are curbing illegal immigration when in reality they are an accomplice to it.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton also said, “After shipping hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals across America, the Biden-Harris Administration now admits that the program is rife with fraud. The CHNV program has been a DISASTER for this country in addition to being blatantly ILLEGAL. That’s why I sued Biden last year to stop the program and look forward to arguing the case before the 5th Circuit. We must close the border, end the loopholes, and finally put America first.”

Mayorkas changed or created many new parole policies after some countries refused to accept their citizens being deported back from the U.S., The Center Square reported. Instead of detaining and removing them, he directed federal agents to release them into the U.S.

Kamala Harris Secures Democrats’ Presidential Nomination

(Christen Smith and Alan Wooten, The Center Square) – Kamala Harris, who abandoned a presidential bid in 2019, is the Democratic presidential nominee in the 2024 election.

The vice president secured the bid on Friday afternoon at about 3 p.m. Eastern in a virtual roll call vote ahead of the Democratic National Convention. Harris is yet to name a running mate, with most indicators pointing to a trio of contenders led by Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.

Harris said she was honored following the announcement by Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison.

“As your future president, I know we are up to this fight,” Harris said.

In a statement, Harrison said, “With historic momentum and a groundswell of support, Vice President Harris has officially met the threshold, securing a majority of the delegates she needs to receive the Democratic nomination on Monday. With the support of more than 50% of all delegates just one day into voting, Vice President Harris has the overwhelming backing of the Democratic Party and will lead us united in our mission to defeat Donald Trump in November.

“But I want to be clear – there is still time for delegates to cast their ballots. I encourage every single delegate across the country to meet this moment and cast their ballot so that we head into our convention in Chicago with a show of force as a united Democratic Party.”

The virtual roll call started Thursday.

Elected attorney general of California in 2010 and a U.S. senator in 2016, Harris is in her second bid for president. She opened her previous campaign on Jan. 21, 2019, and abandoned it on Dec. 3 that year, offering an endorsement of Joe Biden the following March 8. He tapped her as a running mate on Aug. 11. They defeated the ticket of incumbent Donald Trump and Mike Pence in November.

No other candidate emerged after the awkward exit of Biden on July 21 by social media post just over three weeks after a debate performance that magnified the president’s health concerns.

Democrats convene for their national convention in Chicago on Aug. 19-22. There will be a state-by-state roll call there, though only in ceremonial fashion.

Harris turns 60 on Oct. 20. While many worried about the ages of the 78-year-old Trump and 81-year-old Biden, her selection gives the party a generational reset. Trump picked J.D. Vance, who turned 40 on Friday, as a running mate, and Harris is likely to have someone close to her age or younger.

Shapiro, 51, is the odds-on favorite from most politicos and the professional oddsmakers. Certainly possible are U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona, who turned 60 in February, and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, who turns 47 on Nov. 29. Several others, led by 60-year-old Minnesota Gov Tim Walz, have gone through the vetting process.

Published reports say Harris intended to talk to some of the vetted candidates over the weekend ahead of the battleground states tour starting Tuesday in Philadelphia. Her campaign has cautioned the placement of that start is not an indicator of her vice president choice.

Reports of Shapiro being the pick got another spark Friday afternoon by a social media post of the mayor of Philadelphia. Cherelle Parker, on @PeopleforParker, wrote, “Proud to be back with so many leaders from across our region supporting @KamalaHarris for President and @JoshShapiroPA for VP!”

Early in the evening, however, there was no confirmation that Harris had chosen Shapiro.

Harris, notably, did not earn the endorsement of the traditionally left-leaning editorial board from The Los Angeles Times in 2010 against Republican Steve Cooley. The daughter of a Jamaican father and Indian mother has been critiqued as “too cautious and unwilling to take a stand,” the Times wrote on the day Biden stepped aside.

On July 21, when Biden declined to run, Harris immediately said she would be a candidate. There were 107 days until Election Day. Reports say her campaign has been infused with more than $300 million.

MURDOCK: Tech Startup Can Root Out Fake Voters Buried in Dems’ Dirty Ballot Rolls

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) Dirty voter rolls yield dirty elections. Alas, America’s voter files are filthy. The good news is that a high-tech security expert has carved a pristine path out of this dump.

Texas-based Jay Valentine is with Fractal Computing, LLC. He and his company developed eBay’s anti-fraud systems and the anti-terrorist software behind the TSA’s No Fly List.

Valentine and Fractal have harnessed their technical prowess to help citizens cleanse the Augean stable that is America’s election system.

Republican honest-vote advocates are battling the Democrats’ quiet-but-effective ballot-creation machine. Thousands of GOP lawyers and election observers have volunteered to patrol precincts and oversee tabulation stations in November.

That might be too late.

Election rolls are teeming with dead, relocated and phantom “voters,” ineligible foreign citizens, and even illegal aliens. Unless Republicans intervene immediately, millions of these people will receive mass-mail ballots.

Crafty Democrat ballot traffickers will harvest, complete, and submit them for “voters” who are unqualified to pick America’s president and other leaders.

Republicans must shift from today’s retail method of voter-roll cleanup (scrutinize suspicious voters individually) to Fractal’s wholesale strategy: Compare voter rolls with property-tax records and challenge fishy or phony addresses where hundreds of thousands of phantom “voters” are registered illegally.

Using this technique, swing-state activists confirm that their election records reek from irregularities—or worse:

Georgia (16 Electoral College votes): According to Fractal, 558,876 phantom “voters” include 114,817 tied to invalid addresses, per the Post Office, and 68,983 who are registered, despite living permanently outside the Peach State.

Georgia’s records include 1,641 people listed as age 110-plus. At least 25 share a birth date: January 1, 1800. These 224-year-olds might need special care to cast their mail-in ballots.

Nevada (Six electoral votes): In Washoe County (Reno)—between Feb. 14 and Aug. 19, 2022—37 voters claimed to reside in public parks. This cohort nearly septupled to 248. Parking lot-based voters grew from 728 to 1,479.

“Our thesis is that we should not mail ballots to people in parking garages,” Valentine declares. “We don’t think that’s a hard case to make.”

North Carolina (16): Among 432,299 phantom “voters,” 159,520 are registered at invalid addresses and 91,264 have moved away.

Pennsylvania (19): Fractal identifies 1,420,435 phantom “voters” in the Keystone State. These include 323,524 rental-building residents without recorded apartment numbers. Postal workers often leave their mail-in ballots in lobbies, where they lie about, get discarded, or otherwise succumb to theft and abuse. Another 346,505 are registered at invalid addresses. Yet another 262,488 are registered in Pennsylvania, despite shipping out.

Wisconsin (10): As of March 19, voter rolls included 22,973 men and women with the same phone number in the 262 area code. This included 225 active voters. The balance are inactive—both living and dead. Among them, 11 voters registered in 1927.

“The problem is that Wisconsin keeps records with 50% of the voters on inactive status. Nobody else does anything close to that,” Valentine laments. “They can, and do, move ‘voters’ from inactive to active, vote them, and move them back to inactive.”

Unlike the GOP’s antiquated techniques, Fractal’s software promotes such voter-roll hygiene.

“Quantum tech is like the MRI and CAT scan seeing what the X-ray misses,” Valentine explains. Fractal quantum technology performs 200 million calculations per second amid 2.7 billion data. “We are reconciling government voter rolls with government property-tax records.” When they conflict, Fractal’s klaxons squawk.

Valentine reckons that each swing state has at least 500,000 phantom “voters.” He estimates that for $7 million, he could deploy teams of election-integrity sleuths to isolate ineligible properties and halt mail-in ballots destined for those addresses.

For a fraction of most campaign budgets, Jay Valentine and Fractal Computing, LLC could level the playing fields for Donald J. Trump and the GOP in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

If Democrats truly believe in Kamala Harris and their cause, they should relish such a fair fight.

Kamala Harris Compared to Rosa Parks—and It Doesn’t Go Well

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Civil Rights activist Ruby Bridges drew a comparison between Vice President Kamala Harris and Rosa Parks in an Instagram post, captioned, “Rosa sat, so Ruby could walk, so Kamala could run.”

At six years old, Bridges was the first black student to integrate a school in the South. She has been a long-time supporter of Harris, dating back to Harris’s vice-presidential inauguration.

While Bridges’s post garnered nearly 50,000 likes, some of her followers were appalled by the comparison, with some arguing that linking Harris to Parks, who sparked the Civil Rights Movement, was inappropriate.

“Ruby you are an icon but Kamala is literally supporting the genocide in the Middle East,” one user wrote in a comment that received over 1,000 likes. This criticism points to Harris’s ever-changing stance on Israel’s rescue of hostages from the Hamas-led Gaza Strip.

Another user added, “It’s actually wild to compare Kamala to Rosa. I’m in disbelief at the audacity.”

A third user, whose comment garnered over 500 likes, said, “Girl, you did not step into that school for this woman.” A fourth added, “You can’t be serious.”

Not to be outdone, a fifth user expressed their frustration by writing, “Kamala is not in the same stratosphere as you. We hold you in the highest regard.”

In the same post, Bridges included a photoshopped image of Harris in a dark gray suit and high heels, walking past a wall with a shadow resembling Bridges at age six.

The image implied that Bridges’s integration of schools paved the way for Harris to become the first Indian-black woman vice president.

In November 2020, Bridges had praised the image on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for standing alongside Harris.
