Kamala Chameleon Morphs into Gun-Totin’ Stand-Your-Ground Advocate in Oprah Interview

(Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris alarmingly claimed during an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Thursday that she would shoot someone who broke into her house, before promptly trying to walk the comment back with an awkward cackle.

While interviewing Harris at a townhall event in Michigan, Winfrey asked the vice president about a comment she made during her Sept. 10 debate against former President Donald Trump, when she publicly claimed to be a gun owner.

Harris reiterated that she and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, were both gun owners. When Winfrey appeared shocked by that, Harris laughed, “Look, if somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot.”

Harris then quickly tried to backtrack, saying, “I probably shouldn’t have said that. My staff will deal with that later.”

The vice president went on to claim that there was no “choice” between the Second Amendment and gun control.

“I think for far too long on the issue of gun violence, some people have been pushing a really false choice to say you’re either in favor of the Second Amendment or you want to take everyone’s guns away,” she claimed.

“I’m in favor of the Second Amendment, and I’m in favor of ‘assault weapons‘ bans, universal background checks, red flag laws,” Harris added.

However, Harris has indicated previously that she would back far more extreme gun-confiscation measures, including a mandatory buyback of certain firearms.

In July, she called a mandatory buyback program a “great idea,” and suggested she’d be willing to take executive “action” on it if Congress refused to comply.

Harris’s support for such a policy is not surprising, given she backed it during her 2020 presidential campaign as well.

“We have to have a buyback program, and I support a mandatory gun buyback program,” Harris said in 2019. “It’s got to be smart, we got to do it the right way. But there are 5 million [assault weapons] at least, some estimate as many as 10 million, and we’re going to have to have smart public policy that’s about taking those off the streets, but doing it the right way.”

Jill Biden’s Attendance at First Cabinet Meeting in 11 Months Raises Questions

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Call her “Madam President”?

First Lady Jill Biden raised eyebrows on Friday after presiding over a Cabinet meeting convened by President Joe Biden, where she touted her alleged work on women’s health.

Jill led the public portion of the Cabinet gathering—the first in nearly a year—shortly after being introduced by her husband, whose fitness and mental acuity has been repeatedly questioned.

“It’s all yours, kid,” Biden said, after introducing his wife, who replied, “Thank you!” She then summarized her initiatives.

The optics of Jill being seated at the head of the table in the West Wing’s Cabinet Room did not sit well with many X commentors, particularly as concerns continue to grow about Biden’s cognitive decline.

“This is nuts,” commented Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk on X. “Who is running the country?! Absolutely NO ONE elected Jill Biden.”

Podcast host Benny Johnson added to the controversy by sharing a photo of what appeared to be a White House stationery with the embossed signatures of both the president and first lady.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy chimed in, joking that Jill Biden had received the same number of votes as Kamala Harris—“zero”—yet was presiding over the high-level meeting.

“Their new rule appears to be: the fewer votes you’ve earned, the more power you get to exercise,” he commented.

Pro-Trump activist Ryan Fournier echoed the frustration, writing, “This pisses me off. The entire nation is on fire and Jill Biden is running the show.”

Criticism of Biden handing the meeting over to Jill is likely fueled by the high expectations surrounding the rare Cabinet gathering. The last Cabinet meeting took place on Oct. 2, 2023, nearly a year ago.

The lack of meetings, combined with Joe Biden’s visible physical decline, has prompted mounting criticism and sparked questions about who is really in charge of the White House.

Democrats had already mounted a successful pressure campaign to push Biden out of the 2024 race over public polls showing voters did not believe he was fit to serve four more years.

Mississippi Town Reignites Strife by Relocating Historic Civil War Monument Out of Sight

(Headline USA) A Mississippi town has taken down a Confederate monument that stood on the courthouse square since 1910—a figure that was tightly wrapped in tarps the past four years, symbolizing the community’s enduring division over how to commemorate the past.

Charles Latham, Grenada’s first black mayor in two decades seemed determined to follow through on the city’s plans to relocate the monument to other public land. A concrete slab has already been poured behind a fire station about 3.5 miles from the square.

But a new fight might be developing. A Republican lawmaker from another part of Mississippi wrote to Grenada officials saying she believed the city was violating a state law that restricts the relocation of war memorials or monuments.

The Grenada City Council voted to move the monument in 2020, weeks after George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis. The vote seemed timely: Mississippi legislators had just retired the last state flag in the U.S. that prominently featured the Confederate battle emblem.

The tarps went up soon after the vote, shrouding the Confederate soldier and the pedestal he stood on. But even as people complained about the eyesore, the move was delayed by tight budgets, state bureaucracy or political foot-dragging. Explanations vary, depending on who’s asked.

A new mayor and city council took office in May, prepared to take action. On Sept. 11, with little advance notice, police blocked traffic and a work crew disassembled and removed the 20-foot stone structure.

“I’m glad to see it move to a different location,” said Robin Whitfield, an artist with a studio just off Grenada’s historic square, who was among the few people watching as a crane lifted parts of the monument onto a flatbed truck. “This represents that something has changed.”

Still, Whitfield said lamented that the symbolic cancel-culture gesture  had not come with a more purposeful reprogramming effort to force engagement between those who viewed it as erasing history and those who claimed it was a daily reminder of white supremacy—despite being dismantled by a black mayor.

“No one ever talked about it, other than yelling on Facebook,” Whitfield said.

Latham claimed the monument had been “quite a divisive figure” in the town of 12,300, where about 57% of residents are black and 40% are white.

“I understand people had family and stuff to fight and die in that war, and they should be proud of their family,” he said.

“But you’ve got to understand that there were those who were oppressed by this, by the Confederate flag on there,” he continued. “There’s been a lot of hate and violence perpetrated against people of color, under the color of that flag.”

The city claims it received permission from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History to move the Confederate monument, as required.

But Rep. Stacey Hobgood–Wilkes of Picayune said the fire station site that it decided upon was inappropriate.

“We are prepared to pursue such avenues that may be necessary to ensure that the statue is relocated to a more suitable and appropriate location,” she wrote, suggesting a Confederate cemetery closer to the courthouse square as an alternative.

She said the Ladies Cemetery Association was willing to deed a parcel to the city to make it happen.

The cemetery is a spot Latham himself had previously advocated as a new site for the monument, but he said it’s too late to change now, after the city already budgeted $60,000 for the move.

“So, who’s going to pay the city back for the $30,000 we’ve already expended to relocate this?” he said. “You should’ve showed up a year and a half ago, two years ago, before the city gets to this point.”

The Confederate monument in Grenada is one of hundreds in the South, most of which were dedicated during the early 20th century—a period of reconciliation between the North and South following the end of Reconstruction. Many of the Civil War veterans were dying off and groups such as the United Daughters of the Confederacy sought to preserve their legacy and that of soldiers who lost their lives in the brutal four-year conflict.

Concurrently, the rapid changes brought about by industrialization helped to effect a romanticized sentimentality about the antebellum South that largely shifted the focus away from slavery and emphasized the “Lost Cause” as the South’s struggle to preserve its more agrarian way of living.

In reality, most of those who fought and died in the Civil War were not wealthy, slaveholding landowners and did view the central cause of the war as being one of Northern encroachment following acts of domestic violent extremism like the Bloody Kansas raid by abolitionist John Brown. But at least where the articles of secession were concerned, slavery was one of the primary causes listed.

Grenada’s monument included images of Confederate president Jefferson Davis and a Confederate battle flag. It was engraved with praise for “the noble men who marched neath the flag of the Stars and Bars” and “the noble women of the South,” who “gave their loved ones to our country to conquer or to die for truth and right.”

A half-century after it was dedicated, the monument’s symbolism figured in a civil-rights march. When the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and other black community leaders held a mass rally in downtown Grenada in June 1966, Robert Green of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference scrambled up the pedestal and planted a U.S. flag above the image of Davis.

A few other Confederate monuments in Mississippi have been relocated. In July 2020, a Confederate soldier statue was moved from a prominent spot at the University of Mississippi to a Civil War cemetery in a secluded part of the Oxford campus.

In May 2021, a Confederate monument featuring three soldiers was moved from outside the Lowndes County Courthouse in Columbus to another cemetery with Confederate soldiers.

Some of the efforts to raze Confederate monuments in the South—particularly in the moblike frenzy that followed Floyd’s death—have not gone over smoothly.

Clashes turned violent at times in cities like Durham, N.C., and Richmond, Va.—the later of which, the best known capital of the Confederacy, saw some of the most prominent Confederate statues removed from its eponymous Monument Avenue.

The most notorious of all clashes came three years before Floyd’s death, 70 miles northwest of Richmond in Charlottesville.

An effort by far-left city officials to remove bronze statues of Confederate Gens. Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson drew national attention in the historic college town, with right-wing extremist groups (many of whom had been infiltrated by the FBI) converging for the “Unite the Right” rally in peaceful protest.

However, violence ensued after Antifa counterprotesters also arrived with the intention of creating a crisis for the newly elected Trump administration. Left-wing protester Heather Heyer was killed as 21-year-old motorist James Fields attempted to flee the mob that had surrounded his vehicle by plowing into the crowd.

As for Grenada, although the conflict may not have come to blows in the sleepy town, City Council member Lori Chavis noted that it seemed to be a solution in search of a problem.

Since the monument was covered by tarps, “it’s caused nothing but more divide in our city,” Chavis said.

She said she supported relocating the monument but worried about a lawsuit. She acknowledged that people probably didn’t know until recently exactly where it would reappear.

“It’s tucked back in the woods, and it’s not visible from even pulling behind the fire station,” Chavis said. “And I think that’s what got some of the citizens upset.”

Trump Turns the Tables Offering a Look at ‘Kamala’s Project 2025’

(Chris Cella Jr., Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump on Thursday clapped back against a disinformation campaign Democrats have pushed by attempting to link him to the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 policy framework, despite his insistence that he has no interest in considering it.

Trump posted on Instagram a graphic labeled “Kamala’s Project 2025” effectively flipping the script with regard to the obnoxious—yet persistent—Democrat talking point, while depicting Harris’s nightmarish vision for America.

Similar graphics have been making the rounds on social media, including one that the Trump campaign’s official Team Trump account posted earlier in the week via Truth Social.

The post highlights 10 of Vice President Kamala Harris’s most extreme and controversial positions, even though she has attempted to backpedal on many of them since being anointed as Democrats’ backup presidential candidate.

Yet, Trump, a master of brand-management, has sought to label Harris as the pro-crime candidate who only switched her positions because of how unpopular her policy stances were before.

During the Sept. 10 debate between Trump and Harris, ABC News moderators “fact-checked” Trump repeatedly on claims—some of which were not demonstrably false—while also allowing Harris to float several blatant lies unchallenged.

One of the biggest debunked conspiracy theories she parrotted was that Trump planned to implement the Heritage Foundation’s a 922-page Mandate for Leadership, a policy framework that the conservative think-tank released in the spring of 2023, long before Trump was the presumptive nominee.

Trump reiterated during the debate that he had not looked into Project 2025, nor did he intend to, since he already had his own framework in mind should he be reelected.

Although Trump, in his disavowal of Project 2025—which drew from many veteran officials of his first presidential administration—conceded that some of the ideas being proposed may be good, the same cannot be said of Harris’s ideas, since she has yet to present any detailed policy proposals that she hasn’t plagiarized from Trump himself.

As Harris flip-flops like a fish out of water—struggling to explain her ever-evolving stances on issues such as fracking, immigration and gun laws—Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, continue to articulate clear policy positions that will restore the prosperity of the prior Trump administration.

Gen. Milley Knew All Along That Trump Wanted Nat’l Guard at Capitol on J6, New Transcript Shows

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) “There’s going to be a large amount of protesters here on the 6th, make sure that you have sufficient National Guard or soldiers to make sure it’s a safe event … I don’t care if you use Guard, or soldiers, active-duty soldiers, do whatever you have to do. Just make sure it’s safe.”

Those were the words then-President Donald Trump spoke on Jan. 3, 2021, according to Gen. Mark Milley, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

However, Trump’s remarks were hidden for nearly four years, and he was blamed by the Democrat-controlled Jan. 6 Commission—and much of the media—for the National Guard’s delayed response.

On Friday, the public finally had the chance to see what Trump told military officials, as recounted by Gen. Milley’s interview with the Defense Department’s Inspector General. That portion of Milley’s interview was hidden for nearly four years until the GOP-led House Administration Committee released it on Friday.

House Administration Chairman Barry Loudermilk, R-La., blasted Democrats and military officials for not disclosing Trump’s remarks earlier.

“President Trump met with senior Pentagon leaders and directed them to make sure any events on January 6, 2021 were safe. It is very concerning that these Senior Pentagon officials ignored President Trump’s guidance AND misled Congressional Leaders to believe they were doing their job, when they were not,” he said in a press release.

As has been widely documented, there was a roughly three-hour 19-minute delay from the time the National Guard was requested to deploy to the Capitol to when they arrived on Jan. 6. Military officials later admitted they thought a National Guard presence at the Capitol would be “bad optics,” which is why they delayed sending them.

Trump’s remarks mark the latest evidence that he wanted the Capitol secured ahead of the Jan. 6 protests.

In April, a transcript from the anti-Trump Jan. 6 Committee was released by House Republicans, showing that Trump demanded the National Guard deploy at least 10,000 men to the Capitol.

According to the transcript, Ornato recounted that former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows explicitly offered D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser the National Guard deployment.

“‘[Trump is] willing to ask for 10,000,’” Ornato informed the Jan. 6 Committee, quoting Meadows’s conversation with Bowser. However, Bowser declined the offer, insisting on deploying only a few hundred individuals.

OnlyFans ‘Entrepreneur’ Holds Impromptu ‘Tits for Trump’ Event at N.Y. Rally

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) An OnlyFans model made headlines Thursday for flashing 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump, along with thousands of others, during a rally at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, the New York Post reported.

After her antics at the Trump rally which boasted a crowd of approximately 16,000, Ava Louise, 26, was escorted out by police.

“The cops were trying to CHARGE ME,” Louise claimed, adding that local police “were super angry” about her publicity stunt.

Others, however, were not so upset.

“Seriously, great set,” a man—who appeared to be a federal agent—could be heard saying in video footage of the aftermath.

The same man could be seen turning to Louise’s male companion and telling him, “nice job, bro.”

Louise, who claims to make $100,000 or more per month from subscriptions to her OnlyFans account, said she planned to give some of that money to Trump’s campaign in return for the “hassle” that she caused.

She has reportedly spent months using her OnlyFans account to raise money specifically for Trump. Louise gained internet celebrity by flashing the Dublin-New York city portal—a round-the-clock livestream connecting the Big Apple with the Irish capital city—earlier this year.

“I thought the people of Dublin deserved to see my two New York homegrown potatoes,” she said at the time.

That notoriety may have planted the seed for her future pop-up promotional campaigns.

“I make 100K a month now after [the portal flashing] and I’m trying to make 500K off my Trump-themed content to give to Donald,” she told the Post, noting that she was calling her fundraising campaign “Tits for Trump.”

As for why she supports, Trump, Louise noted that they share business values.

“Trump was an entrepreneur, I’m an entrepreneur, I understand him,” she told the media.”I sell pictures of my boobs, he sells the American dream. I relate to him on that level.”

Some on Twitter, however, were not so easily impressed. One user called it a “cheap gimmick,” and suggested that Louise has purely selfish motives.

Others pointed out that children were likely at the rally.

Ultimately, Louise claimed that she does not discriminate among her “customers.”

“[O]ne thing’s for sure,” she joked, “boobs are bipartisan.”

Secret Service Boss: ‘Counter Sniper Response Agent’ Told about Rooftop Threat before Trump Shooting

Correction: This article originally reported that the Secret Service snipers were aware of Thomas Crooks being on the rooftop for two minutes before he began firing. However, this publication has since learned that it was the “counter sniper response agent” who was told about Crooks on the rooftop. The counter sniper response agent wasn’t an actual sniper on one of the barns behind Trump. Instead, he was on the ground and was one of the law enforcement agents heading towards the AGR building when the shooting began. Headline USA understands that the actual snipers weren’t told about Crooks being on the rooftop for reasons that are still unclear.

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe announced at a Friday press conference the findings of his agency’s internal review of the security failures at the deadly July 13 Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

A five-page document summarizing the Secret Service report’s key conclusions was provided to the government-approved media at Friday’s presser. Most of the findings have already been documented through congressional testimony, news media investigations and other public statements.

However, Rowe did reveal information that was previously unknown to this writer. According to Rowe, the Secret Service’s snipers at Butler knew someone was on the rooftop by 6:10 p.m.—more than 90 seconds before the shooter, Thomas Crooks, opened fire.

Headline USA has already reported that a local cop spotted Crooks on the rooftop and notified his tactical commander for the Butler County mobile unit command at 6:08 p.m. This publication also reported that the Secret Service’s command post was notified by 6:09 p.m.—two minutes before the shooting—that Crooks was on the rooftop.

But what this publication didn’t know was whether the Secret Service command post relayed the information to its sniper team before the shooting started. Rowe removed that doubt on Friday.

“At approximately 18:10 local time, via local phone call, the Secret Service security room calls the counter sniper response agent, reporting an individual on the roof of the AGR building. That vital piece of information was not relayed on the Secret Service radio network,” Rowe said.

Later in the press conference, Rowe again confirmed that the local cop’s 6:08 p.m. sighting of Crooks on the rooftop was relayed to the snipers by 6:10 p.m.

“We had a member of Pennsylvania State Police in our security room, and that’s what spurred that phone call to the counter sniper response agent at 18:10,” Rowe said.

Friday’s report’s executive summary does not identify specific individuals who may be to blame nor does it indicate whether any staff members have been disciplined. The director at the time, Kimberly Cheatle, resigned more than a week after the shooting, saying she took full responsibility for the lapse.

The Secret Service’s investigation is one of numerous inquiries, including by Congress and a watchdog probe by the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general office.

Rowe has said the July shooting and Sunday’s episode, in which 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh was arrested after Secret Service agents detected a rifle poking through shrubbery lining the West Palm Beach, Florida, golf course where Trump was playing, underscore the need for a paradigm shift in how the agency protects public officials.

GOLD: The All-Weather Investment

(Brien Lundin, Money Metals News Service) The mainstream financial media quoted me last week saying gold was the “all-weather” hedge against whatever may happen with the Fed pivot and more.

That’s been proven accurate, as stocks are down, the dollar is stronger, and yields are rising… yet gold is soaring.

Here’s what it all means and what you need to do about it.

As we all know, the long-awaited Fed pivot was launched on Wednesday with an aggressive half-point cut.

One might think that the markets would have celebrated that deep cut, and indeed, all the risk assets soared immediately afterward as the black-box algorithms interpreted the major move.

But all the markets ended the day lower as investors — real humans — began to ponder what prompted the Fed to make its first cut so large. What did Powell & Co. know that we don’t?

Added to this was the “buy the rumor, sell the news” phenomenon that I’d been warning you about. Traders who had bet heavily on the inevitable Fed pivot were naturally exiting the trade now that it was a fait accompli.

But all those worries and factors were temporarily brushed aside yesterday, as everything bounced back with a vengeance. The Dow gained 1.25%, and the Nasdaq rose over 2.5%.

Gold jumped nearly $27, and silver soared over 70 cents.

But all those correlations are breaking down today…

The One Investment to Rule Them All

In my Golden Opportunities email newsletters, I’ve been making the point that gold is perfectly set up for whatever may happen post-Pivot.

If we get a no-landing or a soft-landing scenario in the U.S. economy, the Fed’s shift to easier money will drive real rates lower, with stocks, bonds, and metals all doing well.

But if we get a hard landing into a recession, stocks and bonds will nose dive, but (outside of a brief, liquidity vacuum type of sell-off) gold will soar as the Fed is forced to cut more aggressively.

It’s the perfect investment, and that’s why it’s increasingly attracting portfolio allocations from around the world.

That’s the point I made to a MarketWatch reporter last week, who quoted me in their top article for the day:

It’s no surprise to hear that expectations for interest-rate cuts by the Federal Reserve were behind gold’s latest rally to record highs, as recession worries boost the precious metal’s appeal.

But gold also may prove its worth as an “all-weather hedge against whatever happens next” even if the central bank makes an unexpected move.

There has been “some risk from the ‘buy the rumor, sell the news’ phenomenon” when the Fed actually cuts rates or as the decision day is very near,” Brien Lundin, editor of Gold Newsletter, told MarketWatch.

However, global portfolios are increasingly adding gold allocations because the metal “stands to do well if the Fed cuts gradually or it’s forced to lower rates more urgently in a recession.”

Gold rallied Thursday even when stocks were down, and the dollar was up and rose even more as stocks recovered and the Dollar Index fell, said Lundin.

“The lesson, in my view, is that gold has established itself as the all-weather hedge against whatever happens next,” he said.

These points are being proven out today: As I write, stocks are down, the Dollar Index and Treasury yields are higher… yet gold is taking off once again to the upside.

Gold has not only reached the key $2,600 level on a spot basis, it’s barreled right through it and is putting it well behind.

Again: A Generational Opportunity…

Earlier this week, I told you that this was a “generational opportunity” — something akin to the gold bull market of the early 2000s that created fortunes for those who rode it from the bottom.

But there are key differences today, as gold is already at all-time highs, yet the mining stocks are still near long-term lows. The investment case is incredibly powerful right now.

Moreover, today’s massive debt loads make higher interest rates…anything higher than the rate of inflation…impossible to endure over the long term.

So, we will have negative real rates going forward and, therefore, a bullish environment for gold, silver, and mining stocks for years to come.

L.A. Singer Jon Kahn Tops iTunes Charts w/ Trump-Inspired Song ‘Fighter’

(Chris Cella Jr., Headline USA) Los Angeles-based singer–songwriter Jon Kahn recently topped the iTunes charts with a new single, “Fighter,” inspired by former President Donald Trump and his poignant response to the July 13 assassination attempt.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Jon Kahn (@jonkahnmusic)

The song’s release came just days after a second high-profile attempt on Trump’s life, with evidence suggesting that he has been targeted for other hits by Iran-backed assassins, not to mention unhinged domestic terrorists inspired by the violent rhetoric of the Biden–Harris regime.

“I’ve always wondered how Trump gets out of bed every day, given everything that’s been thrown at him and his family,” Kahn told Breitbart News, proceeding to run through a familiar list of persecutions that the GOP leader has endured over the past eight years, since first becoming the party’s presidential nominee in 2016.

That musing formed the underlying premise of “Fighter,” co-written by Chris Wallin and released by Baste Records. It overtook heavyhitters like Lady Gaga, Luke Combs and Shaboozey to reach the No. 1 overall spot for downloads on Thursday, as well as the top spot in the pop genre.

The song’s accompanying music video includes a black-and-white montage of Trump and highlighting his unyielding resilience in the face of relentless attacks from all sides. Whether the attacks come from the legacy media, protesters, members of Congress, corrupt prosecutors or deranged gunmen, Trump has been and remains the consummate fighter.

However, his three-word call to action—“Fight! Fight! Fight!”—after coming mere milimeters from meeting his demise compeled Kahn to do his part, as well.

“If he can take a bullet, I can write a song,” he told Breitbart. “Everyone should find their own method of fighting for what they believe in, particularly in times like these.”

The song’s massive success suggests that support Trump may be far stronger than the legacy media suggests.

This should come as no surprise given recent polling from the New York Times/Siena showing Trump and Harris tied at 47% a piece in a nationwide head-to-head.

Of course, Kahn is not the first artist to ride the red wave straight to the top of the charts. A diverse array of artists including rapper Bryson Gray, country/folk singer Oliver Anthony and even Daily Wire personality Ben Shapiro—aka Dr. Dreidel—have found tapping into the MAGA spirit can be a winning formula.

While celebrities who vote Republican have tended to be demure about their political views, a growing number of well known musicians, including Kid Rock, Jason Aldean and Billy Ray Cyrus, have thrown support behind Trump for President.

Well known rappers such as Lil Pump, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka Flame and Kodak Black are among those who have vocally come out in support of Trump, helping lead younger voters—and black men in particular, to break rank with the status quo.

Federal Judge Orders Sex Change for Transgender Baby-Killing Inmate

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) A federal judge has ordered the Indiana Department of Correction to provide “gender‐affirming surgery” to transgender inmate Jonathan C. Richardson, who now goes by the name “Autumn Cordellionè” and is serving a 55-year sentence for killing Richardson’s infant stepdaughter.

“Ms. Cordellioné has shown that her gender dysphoria is a serious medical need, and that, despite other treatments Defendant has provided her to treat her gender dysphoria, she requires gender-affirming surgery to prevent a risk of serious bodily and psychological harm,” Clinton-appointed judge Richard L. Young ruled on Tuesday.

“Thus, she has demonstrated a reasonable likelihood of success in demonstrating that denying her gender‐affirming surgery violates the Eighth Amendment as it denies her necessary medical care to address a serious medical need.”

Richardson, who identifies as an “Islamic-practicing transwoman,” first sued the Indiana Department of Correction in August 2023 after the state passed a law banning prisoners from receiving sexual reassignment surgery. The baby-killer’s lawsuit was supported by the American Civil Liberties Union.

Richardson, who was convicted of strangling an 11-month-old stepdaughter to death in 2001, recently filed a sworn declaration in support of the lawsuit. The declaration recounts Richardson’s history.

According to the declaration, Richardson only discovered what gender dysphoria is once the baby-killer was incarcerated. Richardson was diagnosed as having gender dysphoria in 2020, and was provided hormone blockers.

But despite receiving medical treatment, Richardson claims to still suffer negative, and at times debilitating, symptoms of gender dysphoria.

“My genitals are an enormous source of anxiety and distress. Not only can I not stand touching them, but I also cannot stand seeing them. I will wear panties in the shower so I do not have to see my genitals and when I wear clothes I attempt to ‘tuck’ my genitals so it does not appear that I have a penis or testicles,” Richardson said.

“At times, I have soiled myself rather than go to the bathroom, as I just do not want to see or deal with my genitals.”

In February, the Justice Department also filed a brief in support of Richardson’s lawsuit.

The DOJ’s support of Richardson followed a similar move in Georgia, where DOJ prosecutors filed a brief in support of a transgender inmate who—ironically—allegedly tried bombing the DOJ.

Additionally, the DOJ settled a lawsuit last June from a federal inmate—former Neo-Nazi bank robber Pete/Donna Langan—who sued the Bureau of Prisons in late 2021 to obtain a sex change. Langan became the first federal inmate in history to receive a sex change in January 2023, but continued to sue the BOP to also cover facial hair removal surgery.

The details of Langan’s settlement have not been made public.
