Leftists Spew Venom over Clarence Thomas Hospitalization

'Trying to maintain the highroad... '

(Alex Tien, Headline USA) When reports emerged Sunday that Justice Clarence Thomas had been hospitalized with flu-like symptoms, the conservative lion who has served for more than 30 years on the Supreme Court received well wishes and prayers from many on the right.

Sadly, Justice Thomas also was the target of death threats from several leftists who could not have been happier to hear the unfortunate news.

One basement dweller tweeted, Before you say anything about Clarence Thomas’s illness, bear in mind that whether or not you agree with his politics he is a human being with feelings and loved ones and it would be incredibly awesome if he died.”

Additionally, left-wing New York Times best-selling author Ellen Hopkins tweeted that she “wouldn’t mind” if Thomas’ health “forced him into retirement.”

In yet another example of a liberal’s fake compassion, Hopkins prefaced this comment by stating that she was “Trying to maintain the highroad.”  The tweet was shortly deleted.

This type of sociopathic behavior, when juxtaposed with former President Trump’s reaction at the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, shows how malicious and “tolerant” the left really are. Surprisingly, some have even brought Thomas’ wife Ginny into the picture and have called for her to be subpoenaed because of her involvement with the J6 protests.

The vengeful rhetoric of the left knows no bounds, as many are choosing the convenient  timing of Thomas’ health condition as an opportunity to impeach him, a completely ludicrous proposal.

While the news of Thomas’ hospitalization should certainly concern those on either end of the political spectrum, rejoicing in the suffering and poor health of an African-American man who has served the United States for over three decades is a new low for the Left.
