Leftist Super PAC Floods Swing States w/ Cash Supporting a Gun Grab

'This investment will absolutely be used to support champions who voted for the bill... '

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Giffords Group, a super PAC founded by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., has spent big on political advertisements in favor of members of Congress who have voted for gun control and attacking anyone who opposed the latest assault on the 2nd Amendment.

Politico reported that the Gifford Group has spent $10 million to support its gun-grabbing agenda. The PAC spends target politicians in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Colorado, pushing an aggressive anti-liberty message.

The spending spree has backed far-leftist Sens. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., and Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., who is running against Trump-endorsed Herschel Walker. The PAC also endorsed Democrat John Fetterman in the Pennsylvania Senate race to fill the retired Republican Pat Toomey’s seat. The health-embattled, truth-evading Fetterman faces Trump-endorsed Mehmet Oz.

Robin Lloyd, the manager of the Giffords Group PAC, told Politico that, “This investment will absolutely be used to support champions who voted for the bill and in other cases we’ll be able to shine a light on the fact that their elected representative did not vote for this bill,” referring to the recently approved gun grab.

Gabrielle Giffords, the founding leftist of this group, also made a statement about the expenditure. She said it was “designed to keep communities safe by giving more gun violence prevention advocates a seat at the table in city commission meetings, state legislatures, and the halls of Congress.”

Lloyd, the PAC’s string-puller, was confident the leftists’ pressure tactics will work because of the recent high-profile vote. Lloyd said, “a vote is a very clear way to illustrate where somebody stands on an issue.”

The PAC has a long record of exorbitant spending to push gun control, according to Opensecrets.com. In 2014 it spent $19.5 million, $13.4 million in 2016, $17.9 million in 2018, and $11 million in 2020.

Since 2020 the super PAC has spent more than $61 million trying to erode the 2nd Amendment and punish law-abiding gun owners.
