(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) The so-called New California Assembly and Senate on Friday voted unanimously for a resolution that will reorganize California’s government by appointing a new governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and secretary of state, the Gateway Pundit reported.
New California—an ongoing project to create America’s 51st state—has committees in most counties except in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Los Angeles area. Each county selects two Assemblymen and one Senator to serve in the New California legislature.
New California declared its independence in 2018 and has set out to establish itself as a legitimate government, with full recognition from California and the United States.
The resolution passed on Oct. 21, an Emergency ordinance for the reorganization of the state of California government, suggests that New California’s legislature has the authority to appoint a new executive branch in California.
The New California legislature cited numerous reasons to appoint a new executive branch, including Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom‘s “fraudulent elections” that have destroyed Republican government, his “reign of terror” to suppress freedom of speech, and “disloyalty to the Constitution of the United States.”
These actions, according to the resolution, prove that California’s executive officers are “vacating and abandoning their fraudulently elected and appointed offices.”
With their abdication from responsible governance, the New California legislature considers them “disqualified from office” and has taken the responsibility to fill their offices by appointment, in the short term, and by election in six months or whenever practicable.
New executive officers must swear an oath to the “Restored Government of California.”
The New California legislature does not seem to have selected candidates yet, but it has affirmed its right to do so.
The California break-away movement cites West Virginia as its precedent for leaving a corrupt and disloyal state.
