ABC News Political Director Calls for ‘Cleansing’ of Trump Movement

'The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part...'

ABC News Political Director Rick Klein said in a tweet that America needs to complete a “cleansing” of President Donald Trump‘s supporters after he leaves offices.

Klein expressed similar sentiments in an accompanying piece that ABC News published.

“Even aside from impeachment and 25th Amendment talk, Trump will be an ex-president in 13 days. The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part,” Klein wrote.

“Cleaning up the movement he commands, or getting rid of what he represents to so many Americans, is going to be something else,” he continued.

Despite Klein’s advocacy of violence against Trump supporters, Twitter has not removed or flagged the tweet and the ABC News article remains live.

Twitter, by contrast, flagged Trump’s tweets on Wednesday in which he called for protesters to return home with love and in peace.

Later, Twitter censored the tweets and threatened Trump with a permanent ban.

Sebastian Gorka noticed the double standard.

Since the Capitol Hill protest, Big Tech, corporate media, entertainment, and woke corporations have unanimously turned against Trump supporters and their right to speak, protest, and conduct business without facing political discrimination and threats of violence.

Once Twitter restored Trump’s account, the president attempted to assure his supporters that they would not be persecuted.
