The Department of Health and Human Services is planning to bribe doctors’ offices to conduct ‘anti-racism’ reviews, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

“Effective Jan. 1, Medicare doctors can boost their reimbursement rates by conducting ‘a clinic-wide review’ of their practice’s ‘commitment to anti-racism,’” said the Free Beacon. “The plan should cover ‘value statements’ and ‘clinical practice guidelines.’”
The concept of “anti-racism” is, in fact, a form of reverse racism, positing that minorities—regardless of their specific life circumstances or individual choices—are inherently oppressed by “white supremacist” systems of power and therefore entitled to receive preferential treatment, including segregation of public facilities.
The theory, which often goes hand-in-hand with the controversial Critial Race Theory, was inadvertently debunked in October by one of its most prominent advocates, Ibram X. Kendi, when he sheepishly deleted a tweet about white students pretending to be minorities in order to gain admission to colleges.
The Medicare plan will define race as “a political and social construct, not a physiological one,” which some clinicians say will interfere with proper care.
Woke medical associations have been on the warpath about differences between racial populations saying any variations in medical testing among races are due to racism.
“By acknowledging that race is a social construct and not an inherent risk factor for disease, we can truly make progress toward our goal of attaining health equity for all patients,” said the AMA.
As with many ‘anti-racist’ arguments, the claim seems to contradict itself as others have sought to score political points by claiming that some illnesses, such as COVID-19, disproportionately target people of color.
Some, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, have even doubled down by declaring that racism is, itself, a disease, which would make minority status an inherent risk factor by definition.
Opponents point out however that many races are more prone to certain diseases than others, not because of social or environmental factors but simply because of genetics.
Social credit schemes like the one proposed for doctors’ practices, were first unveiled in China in 2014 and allow the communist regime to reward behavior that it likes and punishes behavior that it dislikes.
“A social credit system is an important component part of the Socialist market economy system and the social governance system… its inherent requirements are establishing the idea of an sincerity culture, and carrying forward sincerity and traditional virtues…keeping trust is glorious and breaking trust is disgraceful,” said an English version of the Chinese government document.
Conservative lawmakers are also objecting to the proposed HHS bounties as far different from what they agreed to when they passed the legislation that allows the practice.
The bill was sold as a way of controlling costs, and the payment reforms were passed with broad bipartisan support, according to the Free Beacon.
“Republicans who voted for [the scoring system] weren’t voting for this,” explained Chris Pope, a scholar at the Manhattan Institute to the Beacon. “The idea that this would be used as a tool of racial policy never came up.”
And it certainly won’t be long before HHS begins to withhold some payments from doctors offices that don’t go along with the “anti-racism” plan.
