Wisc. School District Tells Teachers To Hide Students’ Gender Transitions from Parents

Policies pressure teachers to break 'the known social contract between schools and parents...'

(John McCannHeadline USA) The Eau Claire Area School District in western Wisconsin has become the latest battleground in the education system’s war against concerned parents.

The district claimed that “parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities,” the Daily Wire reported in March.

These subversive efforts were laid out in a training slide, which went on to say that parents must “earn” the knowledge of their child’s sexual identity.

Needless to say, many parents were not happy about these revelations. Joining them were three local candidates running against the woke school board members who permitted the policy.

“The school board candidates, who are attempting to unseat current members, actually released a joint statement accusing the district of a quote, ‘blatant disregard for parental rights and responsibilities,’” the Daily Wire reported.

The statement went to argue that the district was sending the message that “schools are in control of children, rather than parents and families.”

The Eau Claire Area District has stood by this training, essentially arguing that kids “feel comfortable talking about gender identities with teachers, but less so with parents.”

This stance echoes similar school policies in Washington and North Carolina, where school staff are prohibited from notifying parents of a child’s sexual transition.

Certain districts have been accused of actually encouraging kids to experiment with their gender identities, and the backlash has been quite severe.

While these districts have tried to explain themselves using language like “equity” and “inclusion” parents do not seem to be buying it.

Some have stated that such policies pressure teachers to break “the known social contract between schools and parents.”

As these instances of educational overreach have continued to ramp up, the fight for school boards and classrooms could have a tremendous impact on American education. And by impacting education, it could carry huge consequences for the future of this country.
