School Admin Org. Behind Secret Push to Force More Wokeness into Classrooms

'Your child's mind is being used as a playground... '

(Corine GattiHeadline USA) The American Association of School Administrators has piloted a program in hundreds of school districts across the United States with the launch of “Learning 2025,” pushing public schools to adopt woke policies in the classroom.

The initiative, which has remained hidden from many parents, claimed to focus on prioritizing students’ physical, emotional and spiritual development in the public classroom. As part of this initiative, teachers were encouraged to eliminate all allegedly exclusionary and shaming practices like tardy slips in their classrooms, the Daily Caller reported

In a speech at the AASA “Learning 2025” seminar, Tami Johnson, a counselor in the Cajon Valley Union School District, argued that tardy slips should be eliminated. She shared the story of a student who felt embarrassed after receiving a tardy slip and recommended moving away from traditional practices, including traditional grading practices.

“Shame has no place in our schools,” Johnson stated in the recording. “Not in our classrooms. Not in the way we welcome children. But what if pink [tardy slips] changed? Be a pink color changer with me today. What if we welcomed students like this? ‘We are glad you’re here. Tami is here. There are 390 minutes [in a school day].’

Johnson’s presentation also encouraged educators to stop humiliating students by asking about their grades. Instead, she suggested asking about their strengths and values to help direct them toward their interests in school.

She claimed that asking about grades usually leads to negative responses and does not motivate students to do better. Several schools, including Baldwin Union Free School District and several in Pennsylvania, have used the AASA’s Learning 2025 curriculum, The Daily Caller noted.

The “Learning 2025” program has come under scrutiny for its striking similarities with the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child framework created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Critics highlighted that the CDC’s model prioritizes psychological and social services that preach a radical LGBT agenda, often without parents’ consent or knowledge.

“There is an overall intentionality of pushing the parents out of the picture, of students being led to believe … that they don’t have to adhere to the standards that their parents may have for them,” Holly Terei, national director of teacher coalition for No Left Turn in Education, told Fox News.

“Your child’s mind is being used as a playground, if you will,” Terei added. “They made it clear that they’re going to make a lot of mistakes implementing these programs and that it probably will get worse before it gets better.”
