(Gregg Pupecki, Headline USA) The rubber meets the road this weekend as the People’s Convoy rolled into Washington, DC, area.
The convoy is made up of multiple convoys that started at various points across the country. They all eventually joined up with the People’s Convoy which departed from California on Feb. 23.
The limited live-streams and lack of interest from corporate media made the convoy size difficult to accurately describe. There were reports that the convoy could be over 50 miles long with thousands of trucks, campers and cars.
The convoy officials reported that they were not going to drive into DC but they will remain on the outskirts.
They expected to hold a freedom rally, including appearances from several well-known personalities and Republican politicians at Maryland’s Hagerstown Speedway.

Headline USA spoke to representatives from the Northeast Convoy, which has been hit hard by the international border vaccine passport system required by truckers to enter Canada.
They said upstate Maine and New Hampshire logging industries were on the chopping block with these draconian regulations. Log truckers have to cross the border daily to transport timber. The mandates were costing logging businesses money and truckers their jobs.
An organizer with the convoy said there is a tremendous amount of support behind the scenes for the convoy, but some truckers were afraid to join fearing government intimidation and repercussions.
They explained that commercial truckers were in a heavily regulated industry where multiple governmental bodies have oversight over their operations.
The Freedom Convoy in Canada is still dealing with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s crackdown on peaceful truckers. Several of the organizers remain in jail on mischief charges as millions of donated dollars are frozen.
Today on The Andrew Lawton Show: Defunding CBC, the media’s continued war on convoy donors, the prosecution of Tamara Lich, and the government’s assault on media freedom. Thanks to @DavidAnber and @franco_nomics for coming on! https://t.co/JRZ7w3TdnL

Despite authoritarian threats and biased media coverage, this weekend is on track to bring thousands of freedom loving Americans together in support of the People’s Convoy.
Before I log off tonight I just want to say God bless all of the American truckers and those who support them and the Convoy that is on its way to DC to stand up and peacefully protest against mandates and stand up for our civil liberties. May the Lord bless Annuit cœptis pic.twitter.com/v0H5jnc4fm
