Seattle Closes BLM Park Due to Rampant Homelessness, Drug Use

(Headline USA) Seattle officials shut down a park dedicated to the Black Lives Matter movement this week due to rampant homelessness and drug use in the area.

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department started a BLM-themed community garden in Cal Anderson Park following the riots of 2020, but announced on Wednesday that the “makeshift” garden was being removed due to public safety concerns.

Officials admitted that homeless tent encampments near the garden had made it unclean and unsafe. This year alone, the city’s Unified Care Team has had to clean up the encampments near Cal Anderson Park 76 times, the city said.

The garden had also become a frequent spot for vandalism in the public restrooms, public drug use and unauthorized camping, the department added.

“In recent months, the temporary garden has created unsafe conditions for all park users, including the vandalism of Cal Anderson public bathrooms, public drug use, unauthorized camping and a significant rodent problem, along with other issues,” said Rachel Schulkin, a spokeswoman for Seattle Parks.

Seattle officials reportedly planned to disband the garden back in October, but faced resistance from the Black Star Farmers, which helped design the garden. The group claimed the garden honors “black and indigenous people killed by police.”

However, others admitted the garden is not serving that purpose.

“The black community is unaware of the existence of the garden, and the garden does not represent any meaningful sense, the vast number of black lives extinguished by police violence,” said Darrell Powell, president of the Seattle, King County NAACP. “The Seattle-King County NAACP stands with Mayor Bruce Harrell and his administration in establishing a true representation memorializing the Black Lives lost due to police violence.”

Regardless, in an effort to appease leftist activists, the city announced it would work to find a new location for the BLM garden.

“In partnership with the Black Farmers Collective and leaders in Seattle’s black community, Mayor Harrell and the City will conceptualize a new commemorative garden,” the city said in a statement.

Biden-Backed Apple Watch Ban Would Benefit a Top Donor ‘Friend’

(Headline USA) A Biden-backed ban on the latest version of Apple Watches would directly benefit one of the president’s top Democratic donors, according to the New York Post.

The Biden administration declined this week to veto a court-imposed ban on certain Apple Watch imports, a decision made by the International Trade Commission after the medical technology company Masimo sued Apple for patent infringement over the blood-oxygen monitors on the Apple Watch Series 6.

The weeklong ban, which took effect on Dec. 21, had been temporarily paused by an appeals court as of Wednesday. It was unclear how greatly it may have impacted Christmas-related sales.

Joe Kiani, the founder and CEO of Masimo, happens to be a Democratic megadonor and one of President Joe Biden’s “closest friends,” according to the president himself.

Kiani has donated millions to the Bidens, including $1 million to the Biden Foundation and $750,000 to the pro-Biden Unite the Country PAC in 2020.

A spokesperson for Masimo claimed the CEO has never lobbied Biden over the Apple Watch dispute but accused Apple CEO Tim Cook of undertaking his own lobbying effort.

“This dispute has never been about money for Masimo,” the spokesman said. “The company’s motivation has always been and remains to hold Apple accountable for infringing Masimo’s patents and to restore integrity to the marketplace.”

Kiani has had a close relationship with the Biden family for years. In 2018, for example, he offered an $85,000 job to Joe Biden’s niece, Caroline, while she was serving two years of probation for stealing a credit card.

His company, Masimo, sued Apple in 2021, accusing the tech giant of poaching employees and stealing its intellectual property for measuring blood-oxygen levels, which was featured in the Apple Watch Series 6. Apple then counter-sued Masimo, arguing the company copied its technology.

On. Oct. 26, the ITC upheld a ruling siding with Masimo. The Biden administration had 60 days to decide whether to veto the ITC’s decision preventing Apple from importing Apple Watches with the blood-oxygen technology to the U.S., but declined to act.

Fetterman Thinks Dems Predicting Biden 2024 Loss Should STFU

(Headline USA) Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., said this week that Democrats predicting President Joe Biden will lose in 2024 should “shut the f*** up.”

In an interview with Politico published on Wednesday, Fetterman was asked about polls showing Biden losing to former President Donald Trump in several key swing states, including Pennsylvania.

Fetterman dismissed the polls, claiming there’s still plenty of time for Biden to make a comeback.

“That doesn’t really matter. There’s a whole lifetime in politics between now and next November as well,” Fetterman said.

“I’m not worried about that,” he continued. “And I’m very vocal about this, too, while there are Democrats that are being very critical about the president.”

Fetterman then directly called out Democratic strategist James Carville, Bill Clinton’s former campaign manager.

Carville—often touted as a blunt-spoken centrist who is unafraid at calling out his own party—has warned that Biden is a uniquely weak incumbent.

“I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the f*** up,” Fetterman said.

Carville is one of several establishment Democrats to sound the alarm on Biden’s poor polling. In September of this year, before Biden began to trail behind Trump in swing state polling, Carville warned that no one is enthusiastic about the prospect of voting for Biden again.

“Let’s assume the election was November the 3rd of this year and the candidates are Joe Biden, the Democrat; Donald Trump, Republican; Joe Manchin and Larry Hogan, No Labels; and Cornel West,” Carville said.

“Trump would be a betting favorite,” he continued. “If I told you I would give you even money, you would not take that bet. All right. And so somebody better wake the f*** up.”

Fetterman, however, said Carville and other Democrats who are pessimistic about Biden’s chances aren’t being fair to the 81-year-old.

“I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president,” Fetterman said of Carville. “I’ll never understand that.”

Chinese Spy App TikTok Demanding Users’ iPhone Passwords for Access

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Chinese social media platform TikTok was accused of asking users for their iPhone passwords to view content, which sparked concern among individuals who are using the app.

According to the Epoch Times, reports of the platform beginning to ask users to enter their iPhone passwords to watch videos on the app first began emerging in November 2023. The people who use the application took to social media to raise the alarm, the news source added.

As of Dec. 28, 2023, TikTok — a Chinese company that moved its headquarters to Singapore back in 2020 — has not yet explained the reason why social media users need to enter their highly personal and sensitive information.

The move coincided with Apple’s security updates that were aimed at protecting users from password theft if devices are stolen, the Times reported.

The most recent iOS update which was released on Dec. 12, 2023, effectively provides a second layer of security for people who use iPhones by making it harder for thieves to access important information like Apple mobile devices’ passwords that have been stolen.

“As threats to user devices continue to evolve, we work tirelessly to develop powerful new protections for our users and their data. iPhone data encryption has long led the industry, and a thief can’t access data on a stolen iPhone without knowing the user’s passcode,” a spokesperson for Apple said at the time of the update.

The Times reported that there is no clear link between the iOS update and people who use TikTok being asked to enter their iPhone passwords, adding that the issue could be due to software glitches, an update to the app, security measures or updates or a content filter known as “restricted mode.”

The publication also wrote that some people who use TikTok were able to overcome the issue by ensuring they have the latest version of the app on their devices. Others were also able to bypass entering their sensitive passwords by simply pressing “cancel” when asked to enter their information.

Biden Admin. Teams Up w/ Soros to Fund ‘Queer Muslim Project’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Biden administration is financially backing a George Soros-tied project, aimed at supporting LGBTQI members in India to create literature, magazines and blogs. The project’s name? Queer Muslim Project.

According to the Daily Caller, the State Department allocated a $15,000 taxpayer-funded grant to the Soros-funded Creating Resources for Empowerment and Action. In turn, this organization financed the Queer Muslim Project, a self-described “online platform for queer, Muslim and allied voices” in India.

The grant specifically aimed to “support the achievement of U.S. foreign policy goals and objectives, advance national interests, and enhance national security.”

These taxpayer-sponsored writers were scheduled to present their work at a “leading Mumbai literature festival,” according to a USA Spending listing.

The Queer Muslim Project boasts about its efforts to counter “queerphobia and Muslim hate” through alleged storytelling. The Queer Muslim Project has an alleged “global community of over 40,000 people.”

Headline USA reviewed one story, a compilation of essays titled, “A Zine of Queer Writing & Art from South Asia.”

In the 84-page compilation, an author details his struggle to reconcile his Muslim faith with his LGBTQI identity.

Adnan Shaikh, a self-proclaimed “queer Muslim” who uses “He/They” pronouns, expressed: “I realized that I was not alone in my search for a deeper understanding of my faith and my identity and that there was a vibrant history of queer Muslims who had come before me.”

This taxpayer-funded project echoes President Joe Biden’s plot to promote radical gender ideology globally, especially in the Middle East, where opposition to homosexuality is prevalent.

As reported by the Daily Caller, the Biden Consulate General in Mumbai collaborated with the Queer Muslim Project earlier this year, launching a 10-week “creative incubator” named the “Queer Writer’s Room.”

One project funded by American taxpayers produced a magazine titled “The Beauty and Complexity of Being Queer and Muslim.” The report highlighted the group’s grievances with gendered bathrooms, as reported by the Daily Caller.

Dems in Biden’s Home State of Pa. Are Switching to GOP in Droves

(Headline USA) Democratic voters in President Joe Biden’s home state of Pennsylvania are increasingly switching to the GOP ahead of the 2024 election, according to recent voter-registration data.

As of Dec. 18, 35,598 Democrats in the swing state have switched their registration to Republican this year. Just 15,622 Republicans have switched to the Democratic Party.

A significant number of Pennsylvania voters also decided to leave their respective party affiliations altogether, with 20,908 Democrats and 18,927 Republicans choosing to ditch the parties and vote as independents.

Biden was born in Scranton, Pa., and spent his first 11 years in the Keystone state until his family relocated to Delaware in 1953.

He often cites his connection to the state in an effort to make himself seem relatable to the middle and working classes. However, polling proves that Biden is now “unpopular” among Pennsylvanians, in large part because of “Bidenomics,” said Nathan Benefield, senior vice president of the Pennsylvania-based Commonwealth Foundation.

“Voters are saying they’re not happy with Bidenomics and the economy, and I think that’s reflected in the registration and some of the voting patterns,” Benefield told Fox News. “Whether Trump and Biden are at the top of the ticket or not, I do think it’s going to be pretty much one of the closest states next year.”

Pennsylvania was one of the swing states that helped secure Biden’s victory over Trump in 2020.

Despite Trump enjoying a significant lead on election night, mail-in ballots put Biden over the top in the state by just 1.2 percentage points, with Trump losing by just under 80,000 votes.

The closeness of the past race could raise concerns among Republicans about 2024, since Pennsylvania’s leading officials are Democrats. Just last month, a top executive from a voting machine company used in Pennsylvania, ES&S, admitted that someone from their team “programmed” a local election in Northampton County.

Also last month, a federal court ruled that Pennsylvania must count all mail-in ballots, even those with missing or incorrect dates. U.S. District Judge Susan Paradise Baxter claimed in the decision that the act of discarding or disqualifying ballots due to improper or missing date markings violated federal civil rights.

Another State Boots Trump from Ballot, This Time w/ No Trial

(Headline USA) Maine’s leftist secretary of state on Thursday removed former President Donald Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot under the Constitution’s insurrection clause, becoming the first election official to take action unilaterally as the U.S. Supreme Court is poised to decide whether Trump remains eligible to continue his campaign.

The decision by Secretary of State Shenna Bellows follows a ruling earlier this month by the Colorado Supreme Court that booted Trump from the ballot there under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

That decision has been stayed until the U.S. Supreme Court decides whether Trump is barred by the Civil War-era provision, which prohibits those who “engaged in insurrection” from holding office.

The Trump campaign said it would appeal Bellows’s decision to Maine’s state courts, and Bellows suspended her ruling until that court system rules on the case. In the end, it is likely that the nation’s highest court will have the final say on whether Trump appears on the ballot there and in the other states.

Bellows found that Trump could no longer run for his prior job because his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, protest at the U.S. Capitol violated Section 3, which bans from office those who “engaged in insurrection.”

Bellows made the ruling after some state residents, including a bipartisan group of former lawmakers, challenged Trump’s position on the ballot.

“I do not reach this conclusion lightly,” Bellows claimed in her 34-page decision.

“I am mindful that no Secretary of State has ever deprived a presidential candidate of ballot access based on Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment,” she continued. “I am also mindful, however, that no presidential candidate has ever before engaged in insurrection.”

Trump has not been convicted of an insurrection, and the subjective claims from partisan leftists do not fit the traditional description of an “insurrection” despite three years of leftist gaslighting to that effect.

Of the 91 criminal charges that corrupt leftist prosecutors have filed against the GOP frontrunner, none involve anything related to an insurrection.

The Trump campaign immediately slammed the ruling. “We are witnessing, in real-time, the attempted theft of an election and the disenfranchisement of the American voter,” campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement.

Thursday’s ruling demonstrates the need for the nation’s highest court, which has never ruled on Section 3, to clarify what states can do.

“It is clear that these decisions are going to keep popping up, and inconsistent decisions reached … until there is final and decisive guidance from the U.S. Supreme Court,” Rick Hasen, a law professor at the leftist University of California-Los Angeles, wrote in response to the Maine decision. “It seems a certainty that SCOTUS will have to address the merits sooner or later.”

While Maine has just four electoral votes, it’s one of two states to split them. Trump won one of Maine’s electors in 2020, so having him off the ballot there, should he emerge as the Republican general election candidate, could have meaningful implications in a race that is expected to be narrowly decided.

That’s in contrast to Colorado, which Trump lost by 13 percentage points in 2020 and where he wasn’t expected to compete in November if he wins the Republican presidential nomination.

In her decision, Bellows acknowledged that the U.S. Supreme Court will probably have the final word but said it was important she did her official duty.

The Trump campaign on Tuesday requested that Bellows disqualify herself from the case because she’d previously tweeted that Jan. 6 was an “insurrection” and bemoaned that Trump was acquitted in his impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate after the capitol attack. She refused to step aside.

“My decision was based exclusively on the record presented to me at the hearing and was in no way influenced by my political affiliation or personal views about the events of Jan. 6, 2021,” Bellows told the Associated Press Thursday night.

The lawfare suits are being waged by radical left-wing activist groups, some of which receive funding from globalist oligarch George Soros. Leading the charge are the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and Free Speech for People.

Bellows herself has an activist background as the former head of the Maine chapter of the far-left American Civil Liberties Union.

All seven of the justices of the Colorado Supreme Court, which split 4-3 on whether to become the first court in history to declare a presidential candidate ineligible under Section 3, were appointed by Democrats.

That’s led Trump to contend the dozens of lawsuits nationwide seeking to remove him from the ballot under Section 3 are a Democratic plot to end his campaign.

Likewise, until Bellows’s decision, every top state election official, whether Democrat or Republican, had rejected requests to bar Trump from the ballot, saying they didn’t have the power to remove him unless ordered to do so by a court.

Study: D.C. Has the Highest Number of Gays Per Capita in Entire U.S.

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A recent report revealed that Washington, D.C., had the highest percentage of LGBT individuals per capita, making it the gayest place in the country.

According to a study by the Williams Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, 14.3% of the present population of the District of Columbia openly charted somewhere on the LGBT spectrum.

Oregon, Delaware, Vermont and New Hampshire all trailed behind the nation’s capitol at 7%.

The total estimated population of LGBT individuals in America is 13.9 million, or 5.5% of the country’s total population.

By overall population, the data unsurprisingly correlated with the size of the size of the state, making D.C.’s outlier status all the more noteworthy.

“In terms of the number of LGBT adults, the top states with the largest number of LGBT adults are also the states with the largest overall populations, except for Washington, which is 13th in terms of overall adult population and 10th in terms of the adult LGBT population,” the study read.

The study estimated that 35.9% LGBT individuals lived in the South, 24.5% in the West, 18.5% in the Northeast and 21.1% in the Midwest.

However, the South’s standing likely was a factor if its size rather than its cultural proclivities. States with the lowest percentage of LGBT population included West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi and Alabama.

Young adults from ages 18-24 were more likely to identify as LGBT, with nearly one in every six people in the age group claiming “gay” status.

There was a vast decrease in the LGBT population by age, with those 65 and older only taking up 1.8% of the total group, or 924,300.

The Williams Institute performed the study in order to examine policy effects on the LGBT population.

They performed a similar study on transgender youth throughout the country, with a more specific view on the effects of laws on transgender youth.

The study estimated the number of transgender teens affected by the increased number of laws from 2023.

Cher Seeks Legal Custody of 47-Yr-Old Alleged Kidnap Victim

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Singer Cher filed for a conservatorship over her 47-year-old son, Elijah Blue Allman, because she is afraid he will spend all of his money on drugs.

The “I Got You Babe” singer filed to become the sole conservator of her son’s estate because he is “substantially unable to manage his own financial resources,” according to the New York Post.

Allman is her only child with Gregg Allman, leader of the Allman Brothers Band, who was Cher’s second husband after longtime singing partner Sony Bono. Both men are now deceased. He also has five half-siblings, including four from his father’s side.

Allman—who is reportedly experiencing issues with his mental health as well as substance abuse—used the hashtag #ImprisonmentViaConservatorship in several recent posts on Instagram.

Previous reports also suggested that Cher constantly involved herself in Allman’s affairs, even going as far as trying to kidnap him from a hotel room in New York City in an attempt to host an intervention.

Allman was with his former wife, Marieangela King, when four hired men came and took him from the hotel in November 2022.

King, who divorced Allman in 2021, later claimed that Cher stepped into her son’s life, including his “health management as well as his location and accessibility,” as the couple tried to save their relationship.

Cher denied all of the accusations and argued that it was her job as a mother to care for her youngest son.

“You never stop being a mom—you go to the end, you go to the mattresses when you’re trying to save your children,” she said. “But I didn’t do it. And if I did it, I wouldn’t care to tell you.”

Allman stayed at the notorious Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood for about six months before returning to rehab.

Hotel workers kept Cher updated concerning his appearance. Employees often spotted sitting out front smoking.

“He would come out with a full cigarette and by the time he had finished it, he would be passed out,” the source added.

“It always looked like it was dipped in something,” the source added. “He looked strung out and messy, like he was a homeless person living on the streets.”

The 77-year-old Oscar winner, whose impressive pop-music career saw hit songs spanning four decades, has become more an object of ridicule in recent years due to her May–December relationship with 37-year-old music producer “A.E.” Edwards and her unhinged political rants on social media.

In 2015, she pledged to move to Jupiter if then-candidate Donald Trump were elected president, but has yet to make good on the promise.

NYTimes Panics that Trump Win Will Be Seen as ‘Return to Normalcy’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A recent poll by the New York Times revealed that voters started perceiving Donald Trump as a “return to normalcy” candidate after Joe Biden almost destroyed the United States.

The Times’s columnist Kristen Soltis Anderson highlighted several of Biden’s attempts to destroy America over the last three years, among which were draconian mandates during the COVID-19 hysteria, deadly and embarrassing withdrawal from Afghanistan, soaring cost of living, the wars in Ukraine and Middle East and the invasion of illegals from the southern border.

“The 2024 election will not be fought along the conventional axis of left and right or even change and more of the same. Voters very much want change; they have made that clear with the absolutely abominable ratings they give our leadership in poll after poll,” Anderson wrote.

She then wrote that Americans, including those who thought that a senile and corrupt career politician like Biden would restore the country, are now very disappointed about where the country is heading and think that Trump is a better alternative.

“But instead of clamoring for someone to blow everything up, they are crying out for someone to put things back in order. Voters wanted this from Mr. Biden and clearly feel he didn’t deliver, which is why Mr. Trump currently leads by notable margins across most of the key swing states,” Anderson wrote.

Ironically, the leftists with the Trump Derangement Syndrome who wanted to see Biden in the Oval Office to “return to normalcy” didn’t realize that they were using the 1920 presidential campaign slogan of Republican Warren G. Harding who was running against the far-left Woodrow Wilson.

The scared leftist columnist warned the Times’s anti-Trump readers that, despite the constant witch hunt against Trump, he could still easily win the 2024 presidential election.

“If this election is between Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump and is fought on chaos versus stability, even with all of the drama constantly swirling around the former president, don’t assume most voters will consider a second Trump term to be the riskier bet,” Anderson said.

According to the Times‘ polling that was cited by Anderson, Trump is beating Biden in five critical swing states: Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia and Nevada.

“Discontent pulsates throughout the Times/Siena poll, with a majority of voters saying Mr. Biden’s policies have personally hurt them. The survey also reveals the extent to which the multiracial and multigenerational coalition that elected Mr. Biden is fraying. Demographic groups that backed Mr. Biden by landslide margins in 2020 are now far more closely contested, as two-thirds of the electorate sees the country moving in the wrong direction,” the Marxist propaganda outlet wrote.
