Former 2024 Primary Opponent Endorses Trump for President

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Gov. Doug Burgum, R–N.D., who recently withdrew from his presidential bid, has endorsed Donald Trump for president at a Trump event in Indianola, Iowa, on Jan. 14, 2024.

Burgum ended his campaign after he struggled in the polls and failed to qualify for key GOP debates, according to Trending Politics.

“I’m here to do something that none of the other presidential primary candidates have done, and that endorses Donald J. Trump for president. President Trump protected our borders. He cut red tape like no president has ever done before. He passed the largest tax cuts in the history of America and he supercharged our economy,” he said on the stage.

Burgum’s previous relationship with Trump could be classified as positive and generally supportive since their political values are aligned. As a businessman like Trump, Burgum especially supported Trump’s policies regarding energy and economic issues, which are significant for the state of North Dakota.

Burgum also previously supported Trump when the latter announced that he was going to run for re-election.

The endorsement from Burgum is especially impactful considering that it comes from the former primary opponent.

“President Trump is going to win the Republican nomination. It’s not going to be close. He’s going to be up against Joe Biden. And as a governor and as a business person, I’ve had an opportunity to see what it’s like under each of those presidents,” Burgum said.

He then explained in detail why he endorsed Trump by listing several of Trump’s policies.

“And I can tell you in our state, which is an energy state, an ag state, we were much better off under President Trump. And I know when we campaign on three things: economy, energy, national security. Those things are all three interrelated. Joe Biden’s taking this country in 180 degrees the wrong direction. And I know that under a Trump administration, we’re going to be going in the right direction on that,” he added.

REPORT: Gender Dysphoria Epidemic Surges Nationwide in All but One State

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) As the left promotes transgenderism in schools and all varieties of media, a gender dysphoria epidemic is on the rise, Axios reported.

According to a report from Definitive Healthcare, between 2018 and 2022, the number of diagnoses increased in every state in America except South Dakota.

Among those states with the largest increase were Virginia, Indiana and Utah, each of which saw spikes of approximately 200% or more.

South Dakota, Hawaii and Connecticut saw decline or the lowest growth in the diagnosis.

In South Dakota, led by the efforts of Republican Gov. Kristi Noem, the instances of gender dysphoria diagnoses actually decreased by 23% as numbers rose in America’s other 49 states.

The state legislature has repeatedly signaled its opposition to left wing efforts to normalize the illness and to enable those afflicted through expanded legal protections.

After several years of ironing out the details, South Dakota last year joined several other red states in passing a ban on “gender-affirming care” for minors.

The law outlaws the prescription and administration of puberty-blocking medication in patients under the age of 18, as well as sex hormones and surgery related to gender transition. It took effect on July 1, 2023 after being passed by a 30-4 margin the state’s Senate and a 60-10 vote in the state House.

“South Dakota’s kids are our future. With this legislation, we are protecting kids from harmful, permanent medical procedures,” Noem said at the time. “I will always stand up for the next generation of South Dakotans.”

The state also has a longstanding bill, passed in 2016, that requires students to use the bathroom corresponding to their biological gender.

However, according to Definitive Healthcare, its status as the lone outlier may be a bit misleading

The report claimed that the numbers may have decreased in the state because transgenders from some states like South Dakota were likely going to other, more trans-friendly states to get diagnosed.

“Other states with bans on gender-affirming care for youth have seen year-to-year dips in gender dysphoria diagnoses, too,” the report suggested, noting that it possibly indicates “shifting social and political climates have pushed young patients and their parents to seek diagnoses in states that are friendlier to trans people.”

Nonetheless, red state laws have, to some extent, succeeded in reducing the population of those afflicted with gender dysphoria.

Many mainstream media reports have breathlessly indicated that LGBT individuals and families were packing up and leaving the states whose policies on issues like child genital mutilation they disagreed with.

Speaker Johnson Calls for Firing of Federal Employees Who Participate In Anti-Israel Walk-Out

(Headline USA) House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., called for the firing of federal employees who were involved in a planned walk-out in protest of the U.S.’s continued support of Israel.

A report over the weekend revealed that hundreds of federal employees from 22 government agencies planned to walk out on the job on Tuesday to protest President Joe Biden’s handling of the war between Israel and Hamas, according to Axios.

The walk-out was being advertised by the leftist organization Feds United for Peace as a “Day of Mourning” to mark 100 days since Israel hit back at Hamas in Gaza following the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack.

Johnson said federal employees ought to be reminded whom they work for.

“Any government worker who walks off the job to protest U.S. support for our ally Israel is ignoring their responsibility and abusing the trust of taxpayers,” Johnson said. “They deserve to be fired.”

He also suggested that the Republican-controlled House of Representatives would take action against those who participate.

“Oversight Chairman Comer and I will be working together to ensure that each federal agency initiates appropriate disciplinary proceedings against any person who walks out on their job,” he added.

However, the House GOP was unlikely to see a unified front with the Biden White House in its efforts after a story in Axios on Sunday appeared to signal that the Democrat leader, who faced callse from activists within his own party chanting “F**k Joe Biden” over the weekend, is ready to break with conservative Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The article claimed that while the two leaders spoke regularly in the first 80 days, they have not done so since a tense Dec. 23 call that ended abruptly.

“The situation sucks and we are stuck,” an anonymous official told Axios. “The president’s patience is running out.”

The group behind Tuesday’s planned walk-out, Feds United for Peace, described itself as “a group of federal employees representing a range of federal agencies who believe it is our patriotic duty and moral imperative to urge our government to support calls for a ceasefire, and support humanitarian aid and access for Gaza.”

The organization is reportedly behind a number of recent actions taken by federal employees against the Biden administration, including several anonymous letters demanding that Biden call for a full ceasefire in Gaza.

The walk-out on Tuesday, however, is “something very unusual,” according to one of its organizers, in that now “the dissent [will be] manifested via a physical act.”

FAA Hiring Employees With ‘Severe’ Intellectual, Physical Disabilities as Part of DEI Push

(Headline USA) The Federal Aviation Administration is deliberately hiring employees with “severe intellectual” and physical disabilities as part of its diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda, according to a new report.

The DEI initiative aims to make the FAA, which is tasked with overseeing and regulating the nation’s air traffic and individual airlines, more “inclusive” and “welcoming.”

The agency claims on its website that this “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond,” according to Fox News.

“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”

The report, which comes at a particularly sensitive time following a series of recent plane mishaps, increases concerns about whether the FAA’s DEI agenda is putting at risk the safety of airline employees and passengers.

Reports recently revealed airlines were being pressured to hire pilots who met certain diversity requirements—even if they were not the most qualified.

In 2021, for example, United Airlines announced it was launching its own DEI hiring policy.

“Over the next decade, United will train 5,000 pilots who will be guaranteed a job with United, after they complete the requirements of the Aviate program—and our plan is for half of them to be women and people of color,” United CEO Scott Kirby said in a media release.

Concerns about air safety have become a top priority in recent weeks after a panel blew off a Boeing jetliner operated by Alaska Airlines in midflight. One of two plugs on the jetliner blew out shortly after the plane took off from Portland, Oregon, leaving a hole in the plane. The cabin lost pressure and the plane was forced to return to Portland to make an emergency landing. No serious injuries were reported.

Royal Shakespeare Company Insists that Only Deformed Actors Play Richard III

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Royal Shakespeare Company recently announced that it will only cast disabled actors to play King Richard in Richard III, according to PolitiChicks.

However, the woke decision by one of the foremost contemporary theater companies associated with William Shakepeare’s work has some marveling at an ironic twist befitting of the Bard himself, since the treacherous part—while substantial—is not considered to be a flattering or heroic one.

In the play—a “history” that functioned as Elizabethan propaganda to explain how the Tudor line came to occupy the British throne—the malevolent, power-hungry Richard’s hunchback (which historians believe was, in fact, scoliosis) makes him appear villainous.

The bitterness he feels about his physical deformity is a motivation in his conspiracy to steal the throne from his older brother, King Edward IV.

Richard eventually gains the thrown by manipulating and murdering his brothers and several other nobleman. He retains the throne by killing his two nephews, as well as his own wife, whom he murders in order to marry his niece.

It is unclear if the new social justice lilt added by the Royal Shakespeare Society indicates a shift in the story’s sympathies for Richard’s character, just over a decade since the actual Richard’s remains were unearthed in a parking lot in Leicester, fueling a flurry of new scholarship.

A BBC article referred to Richard as an “anti-hero” after RSC first cast 30-year-old Arthur Hughes, who has no thumb or radius bone in his right arm and identifies as “limb different,” to portray Richard in their 2022 production of the play.

“We need to have more disabled Richards. This is a big gesture from the RSC… taking disability representation seriously,” Hughes said.

“Richard is one of the most famous disabled characters in the English language. I’ve always wanted to play him,” he continued. “I think a lot of disabled actors will think playing Richard is their birthright. Every time a disabled actor plays Richard, it’s an important step for representation.”

Some speculate that the new show will use Richard’s downfall as a platform for activists to comment on the oppression disabled people face in modern society.

Ironically, the play posed questions of moral limits on power—a concept that leftists seem unwilling, or unable, to contemplate as they continue to tamper with elections, censor their opposition, and use physical and legal force and intimidation to achieve their own ends.

Marxist DA Fani Willis Finds Spiritual Side amid Growing Ethics Scandal

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) As Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis comes under fire for her alleged affair with a subordinate official, Fulton County Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade, the DA leading the left’s charge against former President Donald Trump has found her spiritual side, Politico reported.

The day before the national holiday honoring a fellow Atlanta-based adulterer and Marxist activist, Martin Luther King Jr., Willis announced at the Big Bethel AME Church that she had recently conversed with Christ.

According to Willis, last week amid the growing scandal involving her and Ward, which threatens to derail her lawfare campaign against Trump and his allies, she “penned a letter to my heavenly Father” in response to the adultery allegations.

And while Willis recognized that she is not perfect, she also suggested that anybody who criticizes her is likely a racist who wants to see her, “as a woman of color,” fail.

“You did not tell me as a woman of color, it would not matter what I did,” she said. “My motive, my talent, my ability and my character would be constantly attacked.”

The trouble is so bad for Willis, she said, that she receives “two death threats a week” which cause “pure, unimaginable fear” for her, she claimed.

She also had words of praise for her alleged lover, whom she called a “superstar, a great friend and a great lawyer.”

According to the DA, she hired Wade based on his accomplishments and experience, suggesting that people may be racist for questioning him.

“I’m just asking, God, is it that some will never see a black man as qualified, no matter his achievements?” she said.

Ashleigh Merchant—the lawyer representing Trump co-defendant Michael Roman who first brought Willis’s affair with Wade to light in a court motion last week—found no evidence that Wade has ever prosecuted a felony case, according to her filing.

Since then, the scandal has only grown after evidence emerged that Willis and Wade took inappropriate vacations together after Wade suspiciously billed the DA’s office for hours that seemed implausible at best, Politico reported.

Both lovebirds also were revealed to have met with representatives from the White House, including Vice President Kamala Harris, prior to filing the racketeering charges against Trump and 18 co-defendants.

Making matters worse, Wade, who is a divorce lawyer by trade, was held in contempt of court last year for failing to disclose his income in the midst of his own contentious divorce proceedings with his now ex-wife.

Following the bombshell revelations about his affair with Willis, she was promptly subpoenaed as a witness in the divorce case.

Georgia GOP lawmakers are also discussing whether to pursue her removal via ethics complaints in the state legislature, the New York Times reported.

Yet, the occasion of Willis’s political speech—at a Sunday church service—is especially ironic given her family’s history of supporting radical atheist movements.

Willis’s father was a live-in lover of notorious 1960s radical activist Angela Davis, a two-time vice-presidential candidate for the Communist Party.

Curfew Imposed for Migrants at NYC Shelters Following Deadly Stabbing

(Glenn Kalinoski, Headline USA) New York City is imposing a curfew for migrants at four locations following crime at shelters including drug dealing and a deadly stabbing this month.

The New York Post reported the penalty for those who disobey the new rule: Three violations within 30 days will result in expulsion.

The curfew begins Tuesday night at two centers in Queens and locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Check-in will take place at 11 p.m., and migrants must stay at the centers until 6 a.m.

The new policy is in line with curfews at homeless shelters throughout New York City. Residents have said that migrants have been panhandling at their homes, asking for clothing and food.

The Post reported that the curfew was instituted following complaints from city residents living near migrant shelters and centers. They have complained about an “invasion of migrants knocking on their doors and begging for money at all hours of the day and night.”

Brooklyn residents told The Post at the end of 2023 that having “desperate migrants in their neighborhood was alarming and had left many residents on edge.”

ABC-7 reported that the curfew will impact 1,900 migrants.

The four “respite centers” house migrants waiting for housing at longer-term shelters and tent cities.

There will be exceptions to the curfew. They include work and school, as well as legal and medical appointments. City Hall officials noted that migrants must apply for permits in advance that would allow them to avoid the curfew.

Mayor Eric Adams has failed to secure financial assistance from the Biden administration to deal with the thousands of migrants who have traveled to New York City. To pay for feeding and housing the migrants, Adams has told city residents to expect cutbacks in essential services such as police, fire and sanitation.

“This is only the first step,” said New York City Councilwoman Joann Ariola, R-Queens, according to the Post.

“We still need to end our status as a right-to-shelter city, stop the flow of asylum-seekers into the [city] and finally get rid of the tent cities … that are draining our city’s coffers and gobbling up billions of taxpayer dollars,” she added.

Ex-NIH Boss Follows Fauci’s Flip-Flop on COVID Lab-Leak Theory

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Former National Institutes of Health director Dr. Francis Collins was interviewed Friday by House lawmakers, and he reportedly admitted that the COVID-19 lab-leak hypothesis is plausible—a drastic reversal for a scientist who was involved in attempts to suppress information that COVID may have leaked from a lab.

As NIH director in 2020, Collins worked with Anthony Fauci in the drafting, publication, and public promotion of Proximal Origin—a highly influential paper written to suppress the COVID-19 lab-leak hypothesis.

But on Friday, Collins allegedly said he now finds the lab-leak theory plausible.

“Dr. Collins agreed with Dr. Fauci’s concession that the COVID-19 lab leak hypothesis is not a conspiracy theory,” the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic said Saturday, the day after the interview.

“Dr. Collins acknowledged that Dr. Fauci invited him to attend the infamous February 1, 2020 conference call that prompted the ‘Proximal Origin’ publication,” the committee added.

“This testimony directly contradicts Dr. Fauci’s previous statements and raises further concerns about the U.S. government’s role in suppressing and vilifying the lab-leak hypothesis.”

According to the committee, Collins further admitted that the “6 feet apart” social distancing recommendation promoted by federal health officials was likely not based on any science or data.

Collins’s interview with the Coronavirus Subcommittee follows a 14-hour interview of Fauci, who allegedly also admitted to the lab-leak theory’s plausibility.

Fauci had appeared before the subcommittee earlier last week, and was grilled by lawmakers on his handling of the pandemic under both the Trump and Biden administrations.

When pressed on why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released guidance in the early months of the pandemic urging people to remain “six feet apart,” Fauci admitted that this policy was “likely not based on scientific data.”

However, Fauci continued to “play semantics with the definition of a ‘lab-leak’” in an effort to cover up his own role downplaying the lab-leak theory,” the committee said.

The subcommittee has not released the full interview transcripts of either Fauci or Collins.

An Annual Tradition: The FBI Gets Dunked on over MLK Jr.

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Every year, the FBI observes Martin Luther King Jr. Day by paying tribute to the civil rights leader.

And every year, hundreds of people remind the FBI of its well-documented history of spying on, harassing and blackmailing King—along with its likely involvement in his assassination.

Monday was no exception, with the FBI posting on Twitter: “This #MLKDay, the #FBI honors one of the most prominent leaders of the Civil Rights movement and reaffirms its commitment to Dr. King’s legacy of fairness and equal justice for all.”

The post was immediately met with widespread mockery from all sides of the political spectrum. The FBI’s tone-deaf tribute also received a “Community Note” from Twitter explaining how the bureau attempted to undermine King’s work.

The FBI’s surveillance and harassment of King was revealed in the 1970s by the congressional Church Committee’s investigation.

According to records obtained by the Church Committee, the FBI justified its surveillance of King due to the civil rights movement’s possible connections to communism.

After King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech, then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover told his agents, “We must mark him now, if we have not done so before, as the most dangerous Negro of the future in this Nation from the standpoint of communism, the Negro, and national security.”

Then-Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy approved Hoover’s requests to surveil King, and the FBI proceeded to place wiretaps and bugs in his hotel rooms when he traveled.

Transcripts from the surveillance on King are sealed under judicial order until 2027, but their contents are said to be an open secret.

“The telephone taps largely recorded King thinking out loud, planning the civil rights movement, weighing tactics and strategies. The hotel bugs sometimes picked up the sounds of late-night parties that ended in the unmistakable sounds of sex,” wrote journalist Tim Weiner in Enemies: A History of the FBI.

The Church Committee discovered that the FBI used its surveillance footage of King to blackmail him. Bill Sullivan, who was the FBI’s chief of intelligence, sent the sex tapes along with a “poison pen” letter to King’s family in November 1964, urging him to commit suicide.

“King, look into your heart. You know you are a complete fraud … Lend your sexually psychotic ear to the enclosure. You will find yourself and in all your dirt, filth, evil and moronic talk exposed on the record for all time,” the leader read. “There is but one way out for you. You better take it before your filthy, abnormal, fraudulent self is bared to the nation.”

King was assassinated several years later on April 4, 1968.

Prosecutors blamed a lone gunman, James Earl Ray, for the assassination. Ray pleaded guilty on the advice of his attorney to avoid the death penalty, but he spent the rest of his life in prison declaring his innocence.

King’s widow Coretta Scott King and the couple’s children also suspected a wider conspiracy. In 1999, they won a wrongful death lawsuit against Loyd Jowers and “other unknown co-conspirators,” including government agencies.

“The jury in Memphis declared Mr. Jowers liable in Dr. King’s death for having purportedly hired a now-dead Memphis police officer, as part of a vast conspiracy, to kill Dr. King,” the New York Times reported in 1999. “It also found that unnamed others, including government agencies, had been involved, in effect accepting the plaintiffs’ contention that James Earl Ray was innocent, despite his guilty plea.”

William Pepper, who represented the King family in the civil trial, maintains that Ray was framed by the FBI, the CIA, the military, the Memphis police and organized crime figures from New Orleans and Memphis. He published a book on his findings in 2018 entitled The Plot to Kill King: The Truth Behind the Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

WATCH: Proof of Capitol Police Perjury at Oath Keepers Sedition Trial

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Blaze Media dropped a bombshell report last October that accused a Capitol Police Special Agent of giving false testimony at the Oath Keepers’ sedition trial in 2022.

At the time, the House Speakership was in flux, and Blaze said it didn’t have permission to release the surveillance footage that underpinned its report. On Monday, Blaze finally released the footage—and it indeed looks like Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus committed perjury in one of the biggest cases to stem from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.

During that trial, the Oath Keepers claimed that they prevented rambunctious pro-Trump protestors from getting into a conflict with Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn.

However, Dunn claimed that the Oath Keepers didn’t try to help him. To the contrary, the Oath Keepers were antagonistic towards Dunn, he said.

Special Agent Lazarus corroborated Dunn’s account of the  interaction, telling a jury that he witnessed an “antagonistic” standoff between several Oath Keepers and Dunn. Lazarus and Dunn’s testimony helped convict the Oath Keepers of sedition, with leader Stewart Rhodes receiving 18 years imprisonment, member Kelly Meggs receiving 12 years, Jessica Watkins receiving nearly nine years, and Kenneth Harrelson receiving four years imprisonment.

But the footage released by Blaze shows that Lazarus and Dunn have both lied about their interactions—or lack thereof—with those defendants.

As Blaze has explained, Lazarus never witnessed the supposed confrontation between Dunn and the Oath Keepers.

“By analyzing the footage from multiple CCTV cameras and comparing the timelines associated with Officer Dunn’s actual interaction on camera with the Oath Keepers, it is clear that Lazarus did not arrive at the bottom of the staircase until three and a half minutes after the last of the Oath Keepers had left the area and were exiting the Capitol Building,” the media outlet said in October.

“Lazarus emerged from the top of the stairwell just after 3:05 p.m., after tactical units from the ATF and D.C. Metro Police had completely cleared the top of that staircase, the Speaker’s Lobby, and the speaker’s offices of all protesters.”

Blaze further noted that Lazarus’s testimony also contradicts Dunn’s forthcoming book, in which he wrote that he observed Lazarus in a conflict with Oath Keepers—and not the other way around.

Meanwhile, Dunn is now running for Congress.

Dunn announced his candidacy earlier this month on Twitter, stating that he’ll be running as a Democrat for Maryland’s 3rd District. He’s running to replace Rep. John Sarbanes, D-Md., who is not seeking reelection.

Along with lying about the Oath Keepers, Dunn has made numerous dubious claims about what happened on Jan. 6, including that protestors called him the N-word and shouted numerous other slurs at him. Dunn should have the body cam footage to prove his claims, but so far no footage has shown protestors attacking him or shouting racist slurs.
