Shop at Dick’s? Gov’t Warned Banks That You May be a ‘MAGA’ Extremist

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The House Weaponization Subcommittee revealed Wednesday that the U.S. government told banks to pore through private financial transactions in search of potential domestic extremists in the wake of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.

The Weaponization Subcommittee showed that the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN—created to combat issues such as international money laundering—urged banks to search their databases for terms such as “MAGA” and “Trump” to find potential domestic extremists.

FinCEN also warned banks that indicators of extremism include “transportation charges, such as bus tickets, rental cars, or plane tickets, for travel to areas with no apparent purpose,” as well as “the purchase of books (including religious texts) and subscriptions to other media containing extremist views.”

Additionally, FinCEN told banks that they could spot potential “lone wolf” mass shooters by flagging purchases from stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods.

“FinCEN distributed slides, prepared by a financial institution, explaining how other financial institutions can use MCC codes to detect customers whose transactions may reflect ‘potential active shooters, [and] who may include dangerous International Terrorists / Domestic Terrorists / Homegrown Violent Extremists (‘Lone Wolves’),” Weaponization Subcommittee Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said in a letter to former FinCEN official Noah Bishoff.

“For example, the slides instruct financial institutions to query for transactions using certain MCC codes such as ‘3484: Small Arms,’ ‘5091: Sporting and Recreational Goods and Supplies,’ and the keywords ‘Cabela’s,’ and ‘Dick’s Sporting Goods,’ among several others.”

Jordan noted that the above transactions would be protected by the Second Amendment, and have no apparent nexus to criminality.

Jordan requested that Bishoff participate in a transcribed interview with his committee about the matter by the end of this month.

Wednesday’s document dump from the Weaponization Subcommittee follow revelations last year about Bank of America providing a trove of data about January 6 protestors to the FBI—voluntarily and without a warrant.

That information came from  an FBI whistleblower, retired FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst George Hill, who said that the financial institution “voluntarily and without any legal process” funneled to the agency “a list of individuals who had made transactions in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area with a BoA credit or debit card between January 5 and January 7, 2021.”

Hill also indicated that the bank investigated customers who bought weapons during that time frame. “This information appears to have had no individualized nexus to particularized criminal conduct, but was rather a data dump of BoA customers’ transactions over a three-day period,” Hill said, who was joined by his former supervisor, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Boston Field Office Joseph Bonavolonta.

The FinCEN and Bank of America issues both relate to an ongoing Weaponization Subcommittee investigation into federal law enforcement using private institutions as a proxy to conduct surveillance.

“This kind of pervasive financial surveillance, carried out in coordination with and at the request of federal law enforcement, into Americans’ private transactions is alarming and raises serious concerns about the FBI’s respect for fundamental civil liberties,” Jordan said Wednesday.

DHS Funding Anti-Conservative ‘Counter-Propaganda’

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Sen. Josh Hawley has written Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about his department’s controversial  “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program,” which has dispersed millions of dollars to groups actively opposing conservatives and right-wing dissidents.

Hawley’s letter Thursday specifically asked about a $700,000 DHS grant to the University of Rhode Island’s Media Education Lab to create “counter-propaganda.” According to Hawley, that grant is being used, among other things, to address “propaganda and misinformation concerning topics including immigration, racial justice, the coronavirus, and vaccination.”

The Rhode Island Lab also plans to use funds to create “counter-propaganda,” said Hawley, who cited a Daily Wire article about the grant.

Hawley also mentioned a grant $352,109 DHS grant to the University of Dayton  to fight “domestic violence extremism and hate movements.” The Media Research Center revealed last year that the University of Dayton used this grant to flag groups such as The Heritage Foundation, Fox News, Christian Broadcasting Network, the National Rifle Association and the Republican National Committee—marking these organizations as potential gateways to Nazism and other odious beliefs.

MRC also noted that the seminar included a University of Cincinnati Research Fellow Michael Loadenthal, who is “a self-proclaimed member of Antifa whose Twitter feed is rife with posts celebrating acts of left-wing violence—often against police officers.”

“This is an outrageous use of federal funds and abuse of power,” Hawley wrote. “All these funds should be clawed back by the federal government immediately, and anyone involved in making this grant should be fired.”

Hawley’s letter didn’t mention a recent scoop from Headline USA about the DHS funding a study that links popular social media personalities Andrew Tate, Pearl Davis and other “Manosphere” influencers to domestic terrorism.

Indeed, in 2022 the DHS gave $659,327 to fund Diverting Hate, a group of students and academics who were studying “incels,” or “involuntary celibates”—a term used to describe young men who can’t attract romantic partners.

Apparently, Diverting Hate thinks that the social media “Manosphere”—a network of online influencers who promote masculinity and criticize feminism—is contributing to the incel terrorism threat.

In a report published in September and recently discovered by online researcher BX, Diverting Hate made the case that Manosphere influencers Tate, Davis and others are promoting views that lead to terrorism. Tate is the controversial online personality who promotes a course called “Hustlers University” to young men, while Davis is a woman in her mid-20s who recently took Twitter by storm with her anti-feminist views.

Additionally, Headline USA has reported how the DHS funded an organization that classified the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting as anti-government terrorism—a finding so dubious that it’s not even supported by the ADL, which debunked the notion that the Las Vegas attack was related to right-wing politics in any way.

Rising GOP Star Anna Paulina Luna Shreds Smug Child-Trafficking ‘Expert’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., had a heated exchange with an immigration policy witness during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday. The focus was on the Biden administration’s attempts to undermine immigration law.

The tension escalated as Luna voiced concerns about child trafficking cases at the southern U.S. border.

Luna presented a video showing a man allegedly posing as the parent of trafficked children. She directly responded to David Bier, an associate director of immigration studies at the Cato Institute. Bier claimed that the Trump administration caused trauma through the defunct family separation policy.

“You talk about intentional trauma and that the Trump administration caused intentional trauma by separating these children from their quote-unquote ‘parents.’ The fact is that one, you don’t know these people? Why are you laughing? Mr. Bier, why are you laughing?” Luna queried during the hearing, as reported by the Daily Caller.

Bier responded by claiming that he laughed because Luna used “‘quote-unquote parents’” to suggest they might not be the real parents of potentially trafficked children. Luna fired back, asserting that he had “no idea” about the authenticity of the individuals claiming to be the parent.

Bier countered, adding that he did “have an idea” that the man was the parent. Luna, in response, questioned sarcastically, “Really, are you psychic? Have you won the lotto, Mr. Bier? I don’t think you have.”

In what seemed like a dismissive tone, Bier responded, “No. No. You want family separation.” Luna clarified that the so-called family separation is necessary for border authorities to verify the authenticity of individuals claiming to be the parents of smuggled children.

“These kids are being trafficked,” Luna emphasized, adding, “I’m a mother. We can go back and forth, but I am done talking to you.”

The 2022 Federal Human Trafficking Report from the Human Trafficking Institute reported 363 new cases of human trafficking in 2022. Of these cases, 34% involved minors and the age of 28% of them is unknown. The report did not specify whether the trafficked children were smuggled by potentially fake parents.

Another 2024 GOP Candidate Leaves Presidential Race

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Former Gov. Asa Hutchinson, R–Ark., announced on Jan. 16, 2024, that he is suspending his presidential campaign after coming in sixth and garnering the pathetic 191 votes.

It turned out that Hutchinson wasn’t even as popular in Iowa as Ryan Binkley, a Texas-based evangelical preacher who has waged a longshot bid for the party’s nomination, who was able to get hundreds of votes more than the two-term former governor, according to Trending Politics.

“I congratulate Donald J. Trump for his win last night in Iowa and to the other candidates who competed and garnered delegate support. Today, I am suspending my campaign for President and driving back to Arkansas. My message of being a principled Republican with experience and telling the truth about the current frontrunner did not sell in Iowa. I stand by the campaign I ran,” he wrote.

Hutchinson then continued his statement, without endorsing any of the remaining three presidential candidates.

“I answered every question, sounded the warning to the GOP about the risks in 2024 and presented hope for our country’s future. Susan and I are blessed beyond measure, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have for in the political arena for America,” he added.

Despite qualifying for just the first presidential debate, Hutchinson remained in the race through five of the debates, while constantly exposing his Trump Derangement Syndrome by saying that the GOP has veered away from its “principles” during the resurgence of the conservative, America First movement.

As it turned out, the enthusiastic base of evangelical Iowans didn’t appreciate the RINO narratives and instead decided to vote for Trump because they consider him the country’s “only hope” to stop Joe Biden and other leftists from destroying this country and turning it into an explicitly communist state, the news source added.

Hutchinson made his announcement less than a day after another presidential candidate — Vivek Ramaswamy — announced that he would end his campaign.

Davos Elites Push ‘Disease X,’ ‘New Order,’ AI Voter Replacement

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) During the 2024 World Economic Forum, the communists once again told exactly what they plan to do to normal people — implement the “new order” by creating and releasing another COVID-19-like virus to interfere in the upcoming 2024 election and then eliminate any kind of election by making AI decide who will be a ruler in their communist “utopia.”

On Jan. 16, 2024, the WEF’s president Børge Brende announced in Davos, Switzerland, that there’ll be a “new order” during a discussion with Joe Biden’s White House Security Adviser Jake Sullivan about how the world is experiencing a transitional phase of global governance.

“[The post-World War II international order] seems to be not that order anymore. We are on the way to a new order,” he said.

The ultimate goal of this “new order” is to rule the world by allowing AI to “predict” who is going to “win” in any kind of future “election,” according to Slay News.

The WEF founder and chairman Klaus Schwab recently argued during an interview at the annual event with Google co-founder Sergey Brin that AI should replace voters.

“[You] do not even have to have elections anymore because you can already predict. And afterward, you can say, why do we need elections? Because we know what the result will be,” he said.

However, since the elites cannot do it right now, they need to use the old-fashioned method of stealing an election back from 2020 — releasing a virus, locking everyone in their homes, allowing people to vote by mail and then stealing an election — Fox News reported.

Even though the communists created the upcoming virus, they haven’t named it yet. So far, the WEF called it Disease X and added — just coincidentally — that it will be even more dangerous than COVID-19.

“Just in time for the election, a new contagion to allow them to implement a new WHO treaty, lock down again, restrict free speech and destroy more freedoms. Sounds far-fetched? So did what happened in 2020. When your enemies tell you what they’re planning and what they’re planning FOR, believe them and get ready,” Monica Crowley, a former assistant Treasury secretary, said.

Boston NAACP: Walgreens Has ‘Obligation’ to Stay in High-Crime Area, Despite Profit Loss

(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) Residents of Boston’s high-crime Roxbury neighborhood are protesting the closure of a local Walgreens drug store, citing the adverse impacts to minorities already suffering disproportionately from serious medical ailments.

“The communities where they’re closing these pharmacies are communities where people are disparately impacted by disease two or three times higher rates in cancer, diabetes, heart disease,” said former Boston NAACP president Michael Curry, according to CBS News. “… Life expectancy can be 15, 20 years less.”

The closure, the company’s fourth in the Boston area, comes as shoplifting in the city has increased a reported 38% since 2019, and Roxbury itself received a failing grade from Crimegrade.org.

Despite these difficulties, residents and activist groups insisted that it was the private company’s moral duty to prop up the community, even at a loss to its profit margins.

“What is your obligation?” Curry asked. “What is your expectation as a corporate citizen to do what’s right for those communities beyond what’s right just for your bottom line?”

Walgreens told Boston’s NBC10 in a statement that it considered many different factors in making the decision to close one of their stores.

“When faced with the difficult decision to close a location, several factors are taken into account, including our existing footprint of stores, dynamics of the local market, and changes in the buying habits of our patients and customers, among other reasons.”

The company issued an identically worded statement to Milwaukee news outlets over its decision last month to close a store on the city’s north side.

Not surprisingly, the surge is linked to a woke prosecutor with a cloud of ethical scandals surrounding her.

When former Suffolk County (which includes Roxbury) district attorney Rachel Rollins took office in 2019, she spearheaded a plan to decline prosecution for 15 different criminal offenses. Theft due to shoplifting was one of those infractions.

Rollins was later appointed to be a U.S. Attorney by President Joe Biden, but was forced to resign after an inspector general’s report exposed her “egregious transgressions.” That included violating the Hatch Act for appearing at a partisan fundraiser to raise money for her successor in the DA’s office.

Reno-Area Commissioners Allow Satanist to Give Prayer Invocation at Public Meeting

(Headline USA) A Reno, Nevada-based Satanist leader gave the opening prayer for the Washoe County Commission’s regular meeting on Tuesday.

Jason Miller, the founder of a group called Reno Satanic, addressed the dais alone. Apparently referencing the Bible verse Mark 5:9 in which a demon refers to itself with a plural pronoun, Miller thanked the commission for “letting us here.”

Miller proceeded to kick off the commission’s agenda by invoking the name of “Lucifer” and “Satan” in Latin, before continuing in a confusing, disjointed sentence in English:

“In the name of the eternal rebel against tyrannical authority … bring influence and guiding actions of nobility and justice to the decisions made in this chamber today, to act with might and the undertaking of responsibility that may lay ahead of this body before us today,” he began.

“The New Age is dawning that these decisions will play a role in,” Miller continued. “For our liberation, for here and now is our day of joy, here and now is our opportunity. May we seize this glorious day and its enchanting nights to celebrate the wonders of the natural world, as we are all part of its boundless mysteries.”

Jason ended his prayer with “Hail Satan,” to which several members of the gallery responded by shouting prayers in the name of Jesus Christ.

Deputy District Attorney Nate Edwards stated that Satanic invocations were part of a trend because “if you do open your floor for invocations, then federal law is that you have to let everybody have a turn signing up.”

“I guess you have to take the good with the bad,” Edwards added.

Commissioner Mike Clark called Miller a “nitwit,” ThisIsReno reported.

“When you open it up, this is what you get,” Clark said.

Only one Washoe County Commissioner, Clara Andriola, left the room during Miller’s prayer. Andriola then publicly stated that she disagreed with Miller’s invocation and, after the meeting, asked the “entire faith-based community to contact the county manager’s office to be considered for an invocation.”

According to Miller’s group, this is the first time any Satanist group has given an invocation during a government meeting in Nevada. Previously, Reno Satanic has marched in the Reno Pride Parade.

This Satanic invocation comes just weeks after a separate Satanist group erected a demonic Baphomet statue in the Iowa state capital.

The minions of Hell, however, ultimately lost that battle after former Navy pilot Michael Cassidy decapitated the statue.

Cassidy was later arrested and charged with 4th-degree criminal mischief. A GiveSendGo fundraiser created on his behalf quickly raised nearly $85,000 to support his legal expenses.

Biden’s EV Push Frozen by Arctic Weather

(Glenn Kalinoski, Headline USA) The subfreezing weather impacting much of the U.S. has exposed a major headache for electric vehicle owners, proving to be yet another setback in President Joe Biden’s failed efforts to foist fossil-fuel alternatives onto disinterested consumers who see greater risk than reward in the pricey automobiles.

Chicago-area Tesla owners have reported difficulty while trying to charge their EVs. Drivers have found themselves stuck at charging stations with dead batteries. And those able to charge their batteries found it was taking much longer than it would take in milder temperatures. There were also instances in which charging stations were not functioning, according to Newsweek.

A station with 20 Tesla superchargers in Skokie, Illinois, was full almost all day Monday with drivers waiting for spots to open up. Drivers were worried about becoming stranded if their batteries ran out while they waited, according to WGN-TV9.

Uber driver Darryl Johnson waited for hours to get to a charger. But his frustration didn’t end as his battery started draining faster than normal.

“You’re back at the charger twice a day,” Johnson said.

The challenges EV owners are facing may continue in the coming days, and the nightmare facing Chicago-area EV drivers could expand to other parts of the country.

A second arctic air mass is on the way, moving in more subfreezing temperatures across the U.S. Below-average temperatures are forecast, with some cities facing highs in the the single digits, teens or 20s, according to weather.com.

“Nothing. No juice. Still on zero percent,” said Tyler Beard, who was trying to recharge his Tesla at an Oak Brook, Illinois, Tesla supercharging station. “And this is like three hours being out here after being out here three hours yesterday.”

Beard was among dozens of Tesla owners trying to power their cars at the Tesla supercharging station in Oak Brook. Long lines and abandoned cars could be found at other charging stations in the Chicago area.

“This is crazy. It’s a disaster. Seriously,” said Tesla owner Chalis Mizelle, who was forced to abandon her car.

Another man summed up the situation: “We got a bunch of dead robots out here,” according to Fox32-Chicago.

The Biden administration this month announced more than $620 million in funding toward the installation of EV charging stations, according to a press release from the Department of Transportation.

The money will be used for 47 projects in 22 states and Puerto Rico. This will include EV charging and hydrogen fueling stations. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg said the funds will create 7,500 charging ports, according to CNN.

Philly Rapper Meek Mill, Pardoned by Dem, Urges Blacks to Support Trump

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Meek Mill, the popular rapper whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, stirred a Twitter storm with his response to a video featuring tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy endorsing former President Donald Trump.

In the video, Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate, champions conservative principles while criticizing open borders, transgenderism and reverse racism.

In a seemingly pro-Trump tweet, Mill teased, “Wait til yall [sic] see who the black people in poverty voting for!!!!” Addressing Trump directly in the video, Ramaswamy predicted: “This man is going to be your next president.”

Ramaswamy added, “There are two genders in this country, period. That is the truth. Fossil fuels are a requirement for human prosperity: Drill, frack, burn coal and embrace nuclear energy; reverse racism is racism; and open border is not a border.”

While Mill’s direct endorsement of Trump remains unclear, he previously criticized President Joe Biden as being “too old” in a tweet on Jan. 15.

“[W]tf is going on in the American system that yall pushing this through like it’s okay to trust what we seeing  … we talking missles [sic]… advance technology… mental and physical warfare …. That’s not a lane for the older,” Mill said, also sharing an infamous video of a seemingly awkward Biden speaking about missiles.

Mill’s remarks come as Biden faces plummeting approval ratings polls among black Americans.

According to an ABC News/Ipsos poll published on Jan. 14, 65% of black respondents aged 50 and above approve of Biden, while a mere 32% of those under 50 express the same sentiment.

Hailing from Philadelphia, Mill gained popularity in the early 2010s through various popular singles.

Rising to fame in the early 2010s with several hit singles, he has five studio albums, including two Billboard number ones, and collaborations with renowned artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj.

He has also had run-ins with law enforcement, ultimately becoming an advocate for criminal justice reform. In 2017, he was sentenced to prison time for violating an eight-year parole stemming from a 2008 conviction for drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of a loaded firearm, according to the Daily Mail.

In January 2023, former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, a Democrat, pardoned him for his violations. Later that year, Mill collaborated with Gov. Josh Shapiro, also a Democrat, to overhaul the criminal justice system in Pennsylvania.

In 2020, he congratulated Vice President Kamala Harris on her electoral victory. “Congrats Kamala Harris(V.PRESIDENT) on breaking all barriers! Motivation! Hold us down!”

911 Call From Lloyd Austin’s Team Reveals Secretive Nature of His Hospitalization

(Headline USA) The transcript of the 911 call placed by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s team the day he was rushed to the hospital reveals the lengths to which he went to keep his condition a secret.

Austin was recently released from the hospital only after being kept in the intensive-care unit for days following complications from an elective surgical procedure related to his cancer diagnosis.

Reports revealed he had not informed others in the Pentagon or even the White House of his extended hospitalization, but instead told other Defense Department staffers that he was “working from home.”

When Austin was rushed to the hospital, his aides also took great pains to keep the news a secret.

“Can I ask—can the ambulance not show up with lights and sirens?” a staffer said in the recording, first obtained by the Daily Beast. “Um, we’re trying to remain a little subtle.”

The dispatcher agreed to the request, noting that “usually when they turn into a residential neighborhood, they’ll turn them off.” However, the operator added that Virginia law required EMTs to use the lights and sirens on major streets and intersections.

The transcript confirmed that Austin’s team intentionally wanted to hide the secretary’s condition—even from President Joe Biden, who reportedly learned of Austin’s hospitalization when it was publicly reported in the media.

This lack of transparency has prompted Republicans and even Democrats to demand Austin’s resignation.

“I have lost trust in Secretary Lloyd Austin’s leadership of the Defense Department due to the lack of transparency about his recent medical treatment and its impact on the continuity of the chain of command,” Rep. Chris Deluzio, D-Pa., who sits on the House Armed Services Committee, said in a statement last week.

The White House, however, has said Biden has no intention of firing Austin.
