‘Squad’ Fire-Alarm Puller Demands $14 TRILLION for Reparations

(Headline USA) “Squad” Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., unveiled a federal reparations package this week that would cost the U.S. government $14 trillion, the Daily Mail reported.

For context, the amount would be roughly the same as the amount that the Trump and Biden administrations combined had increased the national debt since 2016, when it reached 19 trillion.

Likewise, it would be roughly as much as the George W. Bush and Obama administrations accrued in debt between 2002 (when it hit $6 trillion) and 2017 (when it hit 20 trillion)

Bowman, who was recently censured by his colleagues for interrupting congressional proceedings by pulling a fire alarm in the U.S. Capitol building, said the measure would hold the federal government accountable for slavery and its aftermath.

The government-sanctioned slave trade was officially abolished with the passage of the 13th Amendment in December 1865, although forms of slavery—such as the human trafficking and sex trafficking facilitated by the Biden administration’s open-border policies—persist to this day.

Bowman cited the government’s response during the COVID-19 pandemic as proof that the U.S. has the financial means to provide hefty monetary payments to black Americans, while disregarding the inflationary fallout that occurred in its aftermath.

“When COVID was destroying us, we invested in the American people in a way that kept the economy afloat,” said Bowman.

“The government can invest the same way in reparations without raising taxes on anyone,” he continued. “Where did the money come from? We spent it into existence.”

His proposal, H.Res. 414, would force the U.S. government to acknowledge its “moral and legal obligation to provide reparations for the enslavement of Africans and its lasting harm on the lives of millions of black people in the United States” and help “eliminate the racial wealth gap that currently exists between black and white Americans.”

Bowman argued the $14 trillion could be distributed to black Americans over decades.

“Who says the $14 trillion needs to be paid out in one shot,” he said.

“It might be possible for it to be paid out over 5 or 10 or 20 years,” he continued. “You could take that $333,000 and break it up into monthly checks over X amount of time. There are creative ways to do the right thing and do what needs to be done.”

The bill cites estimates that the U.S. benefited from over 222 trillion hours of forced labor between 1619 and the end of slavery in 1865, “which would be valued at $97,000,000,000,000” today.

“There were 246 years of free labor that produced trillions or hundreds of trillions of dollars for the U.S. economy,” Bowman claimed. “The economy wouldn’t exist in the way it does today if slavery hadn’t built it.”

Jamie Dimon, ‘Davoisie’ Admit Trump Was Right, Warn of Overreacting

(Headline USA) JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon warned Democrats and the media this week to stop belittling supporters of former President Donald Trump.

“I wish the Democrats would think a little more carefully when they talk about MAGA,” Dimon told CNBC’s Squawk Box Wednesday in an interview from the World Economic Forum’s annual gathering of globalist elites in Davos, Switzerland.

Democrats were “basically scapegoating” Trump supporters by accusing them of sharing some of the former president’s perceived character deficiencies, Dimon added.

But they’re not “voting for Trump because of his family values,” he continued, noting that a growing number of Americans have legitimate concerns about the state of the country under President Joe Biden.

Dimon also gave credit to Trump for many of his policies, urging leftist voters to “take a step back” and “be honest.”

Trump “was kind of right about NATO, kind of right on immigration,” he explained. “He grew the economy quite well. Trade tax reform worked. He was right about some of China. He wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues, and that’s why they voted for him.”

Continuing to demonize Trump and his supporters would only “hurt Biden’s campaign,” Dimon said.

Asked who he intended to support—Trump or Biden—in 2024, Dimon said he’d do what’s best for his business.

“I have to be prepared for both. I will be prepared for both. We will deal with both. And I hope whoever it is will be respectful of other people,” he said.

Trump—whose landslide win in the Iowa caucus on Monday cast a new aura of inevitability on his nomination as polls continue to show him ahead of Biden with a comfortable lead in electoral votes—was a topic of much discussion among the world leaders at the Davos summit, according to CNBC.

“He’s going to win the presidency,” said one CEO who wished to remain anonymous said. “Many of his policies were right.”

However, Ben Smith, co-founder of news outlet Semafor, predicted at the conference that Biden would ultimately benefit from low expectations if Trump continues to dominate the headlines, making it a mandate on him rather than the incumbent president’s failures and motivating anti-Trump voters to turn out against him.

“This year it is an absolute item of faith that Donald Trump will be elected president of the United States, which I think is great news for Joe Biden,” he said.

Almost 5,000 Christians Murdered for Their Faith in 2023

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The 2024 World Watch List (WWL) that was published on Jan. 17, 2024, by Open Doors Christian charity revealed that the persecution of Christians skyrocketed all around the world last year.

The list noted that more than 365 million Christians all around the world suffer “high levels” of persecution and discrimination for their faith, which means that one in seven Christians are persecuted because of their religious beliefs.

WWL discovered that 4,998 Christians were murdered because they were practicing their faith during 2023, which is the number of only those cases that were reported.

From 2022 to 2023, attacks on the homes of Christians nearly quadrupled (+371%), rising from 4,547 to 21,431, and the number of attacks on churches, Christian schools and hospitals jumped sevenfold, from 2,110 in 2022 to 14,766 in 2023.

In addition to that, Christians who were not murdered suffered nonetheless, with 42,849 of them experiencing physical violence or death threats during 2023 and 278,716 of them being driven from their homes or forced to go underground, which represents more than double the figure from 2022 (124,310).

The very first place on the list of 50 most dangerous countries for Christians is North Korea, which also took the number one spot on last year’s list by WWL.

An officially atheist country that is run by a brutal communist regime, North Korea is incredibly hostile to Christians, with the organization noting that being discovered as a Christian in North Korea is considered an equivalent to a death sentence.

Those Christians who are not murdered on the spot are sent to labor camps where they spend the rest of their lives as political criminals. In addition to that, it is nearly impossible for believers to gather and worship the Lord. As expected, the communist state considers the possession of the Bible a serious crime as well.

Somalia, a country that ranks second on the list, also persecutes Christians by “identifying and eliminating Christian leaders” and murdering regular Christians on the spot as well.

Libya got the third position on the list because the absence of a single central government to impose law and order in the country allowed Islamist groups to murder and torture Christians without any consequences.

Fulton DA Fears Alleged Lovebird’s Spurned Wife May Destroy Trump Case

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has responded to a subpoena related to the divorce proceedings of Nathan Wade, a special prosecutor in the election case against Donald Trump.

Willis and Nathan Wade faced allegations of an affair following a subpoena requested by Joycelyn Wade, the special prosecutor’s wife, who sought her testimony in the divorce hearing.

In her response, Willis accused Joycelyn Wade of “interfering” in the prosecution of Trump and 18 co-defendants by seeking testimony in the divorce court hearing, as reported by Atlanta News First on Thursday.

Notably, Willis’ motion coincided with Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee scheduling a hearing on Feb. 15 regarding a a separate motion filed by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman, who initially raised the alarm  about the alleged affair between Willis and Wade.

While Roman’s filing is unrelated to the subpoena case, it appears the allegations are directly tied to the divorce proceedings. In a filing spanning over 100 pages, Roman accused Willis of benefiting directly from hiring Nathan Wade as a special prosecutor through various expenses and lavish vacations, without specifying the information’s source.

However, Willis’ Thursday motion claimed that Joycelyn Wade “has conspired with interested parties in the criminal Election Interference case to use the civil discovery process to annoy, embarrass and oppress District Attorney Willis.”

Although initially subpoenaed in the divorce proceedings, Willis argued in the filing that the divorce is not reconcilable, thus making her testimony unnecessary.

“The sought-after deposition of District Attorney Willis is not relevant to the subject matter involved in the pending action and should not be permitted,” Willis claimed.

In the filing, Willis also alleged that the subpoena was improperly served, providing only a fifteen days of prior notice. “A fifteen-day compliance deadline is unreasonable and is overburdensome for District Attorney Fani T. Willis to prepare to give sworn testimony,” Willis claimed.

Willis has requested the divorce judge to grant a “protective order quashing the” subpoena and for her to be granted “attorney’s fees and expenses” in preparing the response.

Additionally, Willis appeared to insinuate that Joycelyn Wade triggered the divorce by allegedly cheating first with Nathan Wade’s friend.

Clinton Surrogate Teams w/ Drudge to Push Slander that Trump Has Syphilis

(Headline USA) Democratic strategist James Carville, the former campaign adviser for President Bill Clinton, suggested this week that former President Donald Trump had syphilis after a photo of Trump showed red sores on his right hand.

Trump was photographed waving as he left his New York City apartment en route to the trial filed by left-wing socialite E. Jean Carroll, who previously had accused him of rape.

The photo by the Associated Press showed several red marks on Trump’s hand, causing a frenzy on leftist social-media accounts and gossip sites—including the formerly conservative Drudge Report, which took a hard-left turn during the Trump presidency.

“If you go to the Drudge Report I think it’ll still be up,” Carville said on the Politicon podcast.

“Yeah. There’s a story that talks about Trump having hand-cuts, and you can link to it,” he continued. “They don’t look like cuts to me. They look like sores.”

Carville claimed he asked “a number of [doctors] what medical condition manifests itself through handsores.”

The answer was “immediate and unanimous,” he claimed. “Secondary syphilis … I think there’s a good chance this man has the clap, and I’m not being particularly secretive about it.”

Carville went on to note that the image could have been “doctored” or tampered with.

“Maybe the story goes somewhere. Maybe it won’t. But I’m telling you, at 1 o’clock Eastern, I’m humping this thing like a young dog on old furniture,” he said.

Shortly after Carville’s comments, #SyphilisDon began trending on social media.

Even MSNBC’s Morning Joe speculated about the cause of the red marks on Trump’s hands, claiming the marks could have been wounds from pounding on the table during the defamation trial.

However, Dr. Joshua Zeichner, an associate professor of dermatology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, told Business Insider that Trump most likely just had a rash, which could be caused by almost anything.

“Rashes on the hands can be caused by a variety of factors, ranging from infections to inflammatory conditions to external exposures,” Zeichner said.

Carville’s former bosses, the Clintons, have been connected to stories about sexually-transmitted diseases periodically throughouth the years, including at least one photo that showed Bill Clinton with a herpes-like cold-sore on his upper lip while posing with U2 frontman Bono.

Speculation was rampant that the former president and Jeffrey Epstein pal was either admitted for an STD or was likely to test positive for one after he checked into the University of California, Irvine Medical Center with what was reported to be a “non-Covid-related infection” in 2021.

Sources later claimed it was a “urinary tract infection” that “spread to his bloodstream,” according to Gawker.

A close friend and donor of Clinton’s, former Calvin Klein CEO Arnold Simon, was sued in 2013 for giving herpes to a date he’d met on Match.com.

Hillary Clinton’s public relationship with STDs is far more innocuous, although she made headlines during her 2016 presidential campaign for supporting an effort to destigmatize them.

Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated that one in six Americans between ages 14 and 49 had herpes, Clinton’s efforts to pander to them were not enough to secure the election for her that year over Trump, her Republican rival.

Biden Insults Iowans a Day after Press Sec. Claimed He Doesn’t Insult Voters

(Headline USA) A day after White House press secretary Karine Jean–Pierre made a gaslighting claim touting President Joe Biden’s distinguished record as a unifying force for the nation, Biden promptly proceeded to disprove her by disparaging Iowa voters.

Jean–Pierre insisted during a Wednesday press conference that Biden had never insulted voters, despite multiple incidents in which Biden has viciously waged partisan attacks against Trump supporters.

“One thing that the president does not do is insult voters or American people,” said the press secretary.

Her comment comes as multiple Democrats have come under fire for attacking voters who support former President Donald Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris, for example, agreed on Wednesday with The View co-hosts’ characterization of rural Trump supporters as “the crazies.”

Biden has made many disparaging remarks about voters, despite Jean-Pierre’s claim to the contrary.

On Thursday, he diminished the significance of rural Iowa voters following Republican frontrunner Donald Trump’s historic victory in Monday’s caucus, claiming, “I don’t think Iowa means anything.”

In December 2019, he ripped a voter who had been critical of him as a “damn liar.”

The voter had approached Biden at a campaign event in Iowa and raised concerns about Biden’s age.

“I’m not a Republican,” the man said. “I’ve got two problems with you. One is you’re damn near as old as I am. You’re too old. I’m 83, and I know damn well I don’t have the mental faculties I did … But on the other hand, you sent your son over [to Ukraine] to get a job and work for a gas company where he had no experience… in order to get access for the president.”

Biden responded: “You’re a d**n liar, man. That’s not true and no one has ever said that.”

A few months later, in March 2020, he told another questioner that he was “full of “s**t” and proceeded to escalate matters, even threatening to fight the man.

The president also insulted black voters by suggesting they couldn’t really be considered black unless they voted for him.

“Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” he said in May 2020.

Then, three months later, Biden suggested that a voter who asked him whether he’d be willing to take a cognitive test was on drugs.

“No, I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test?” Biden said. “Come on, man. That’s like saying you, before you got on this program, you take a test whether you’re taking cocaine or not. What do you think? Huh? Are you a junkie?”

Since becoming president, his demagoguery has grown even more pronounced, including his notorious “red rally,” a 2022 speech delivered in front of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall in which he first accused Republican political opponents of posing a “threat to democracy.”

The talking point has now become a staple of his campaign rhetoric.

“These MAGA voices who know the truth about Trump … have abandoned truth and abandoned democracy,” he said in a Jan. 5 speech, also in Philadelphia, during which he compared himself to George Washington while likening Trump and his supporters to Nazis.

“They made their choice,” he continued. “Now the rest of us—Democrats, independents, mainstream Republicans–have to make ours.”

Even fellow Democrats have slammed Biden for pushing his divisive rhetoric too far on occasion.

In January 2022, Biden implied that senators who were opposed to ending the filibuster—which would have allowed Democrats to pass a sweeping overhaul of election rules and ensure permanent majorities for themselves—were tantamount to some of the most notorious racists in American history.

“At consequential moments in history, they present a choice,” Biden said. “Do you want to be the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?”

Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., the No. 2-ranked Democrat behind then-minority leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., conceded that it was a smidge over the top.

“Perhaps the president went a little too far in his rhetoric,” Durbin said.

Hunter Biden’s ‘Sugar Brother’ Confirms Multi-Million Loans in Impeachment Deposition

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Kevin Morris, a multi-millionaire Hollywood producer, faced probing questions from members of Congress regarding his role as the primary financier and personal friend of Hunter Biden, the scandal-ridden son of President Joe Biden.

On Thursday, Morris sat down with the House Oversight Committee, where Republicans, leading an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, grilled Morris about his knowledge of the Biden family affairs and his financial support for Hunter Biden’s legal troubles.

Notably, Morris, often referred to as Hunter Biden’s “sugar brother,” personally loaned a multi-million sum to Hunter Biden to settle his tax bill, which is now the focal point of a federal indictment.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., stated in a press release that Morris acknowledged the multi-million-dollar loans, totaling at least $5 million.

“Kevin Morris’s massive financial support to Hunter Biden raises ethical and campaign finance concerns for President Joe Biden,” Comer said. “Shortly after meeting Hunter Biden at a Joe Biden campaign event in 2019, Kevin Morris began paying Hunter Biden’s tax liability to insulate then-presidential candidate Joe Biden from political liability.”

Comer expressed concerns that Morris, who first met Hunter Biden at a 2019 Biden campaign event, has had access to the White House and has directly spoken to Joe Biden, raising potential ethics issues.

“This follows a familiar pattern where Hunter Biden’s associates have access to Joe Biden himself,” Comer added, highlighting concerns about an alleged influence-peddling scheme involving both Joe Biden and his son.

“As we continue more interviews this month and the next, we will continue to follow the facts to understand the full scope of President Biden and his family’s corruption,” Comer continued.

According to a readout of the interview released by Republicans, Morris made the generous loan without a written agreement, only preparing an agreement after Hunter Biden received the funds.

“Hunter Biden did not pay his tax liability for years; Kevin Morris paid them,” the readout alleged. “Hunter Biden has sold roughly $1.5 million dollars of art, and half of it was purchased by Kevin Morris to reduce the money Hunter owed him. Kevin Morris also bought two art pieces from Hunter Biden before he had a gallerist.”

Moreover, the transcript highlighted that Morris has contributed between $500,000 to $700,000 to Democrats. Despite the substantial donations, Morris’ access to the presidency occurred following his friendship with Hunter Biden, Republicans said in the transcript.

The interview comes amid a growing impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, stemming from evidence depicting an alleged influence-peddling scheme, including bribery.

Joe Biden has consistently dismissed the evidence, sometimes contradictorily.

Woke Rep. Complains GOP Govs. Target ‘Communities of Color’ by Busing Illegals

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Woke Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, claimed that Republicans were targeting “communities of color” by busing illegal immigrants from the southern border to sanctuary cities.

The controversial opinion is not likely to win any support from the Fort Worth-area lawmaker’s own constituents, whom Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been looking out for by moving the flood of new dependents from his state.

However, it is likely to thwart Crockett’s own hopes of attaining higher office in the nation’s largest red state, which open-border activists have aggressively sought to flip blue in the past few election cycles to no avail.

If they were to succeed in doing so, it would all but assure permanent Democrat majorities in the Electoral College, which decides the presidency, as well as congressional elections.

Crockett not only denounced conservative politicians for harming the cities at a local level, but also accused them of racism because cities like New York, Philadelphia and Chicago are all run by black mayors, according to Twitchy.

“While they say it’s about Democrat-run cities, I do want to point out another similarity that they have: these are cities that are run by African Americans,” Crockett said. “So, while I know they love to pretend as if there are no racial undertones, it is just striking to me that we specifically are going after African-American-run cities.”

All three of the cities named by Crockett established “sanctuary” policies before or during the Trump presidency as a means of defying his efforts to enforce federal immigration law.

Chicago’s history as a sanctuary city arguably stretches back to 1985, when Mayor Harold Washington signed an executive order prohibiting enforcement of immigration laws within the boundary of the city.

Then-Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who previously served as chief of staff during the Obama administration, reaffirmed the city’s sanctuary status days after President Donald Trump’s 2016 election.

As a mayoral candidate in 2021, current New York City Mayor Eric Adams wholeheartedly approved of its status as a sanctuary.

Adams may regret that decision now, as the influx of millions of immigrants in the city has continually caused a myriad of problems for its residents.

Despite Adams’s very apparent struggle with the matter, other city officials have encouraged the arrival of more migrants, even going as far as publishing a “bill of rights” for the legal citizens of other countries that happen to inhabit the Big Apple.

Social media users flamed Crockett in response to her speech, pointing out that the mayors of sanctuary cities were suffering the consequences of policies they endorsed.

“They said all were welcome and that is why they are being sent there,” one user tweeted. “It has nothing to do with color, and everything to do with Democratic policy.”

“I was told diversity makes communities stronger,” another user quipped.

Some were struck by the leap of logic it took for Crockett to conclude that they were harming communities of color by sending more people of color—unless, of course, Crockett was signaling her own anti-immigrant biases.

Whitmer Cashed in Seven-Figure Pay for Book Amid VP Rumors

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, clinched a substantial seven-figure book deal amid increasing rumors that she might be selected as a quick replacement for President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris in the event of a health emergency.

According to Page Six, the deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster amounts to a generous “seven-figure” total and took place during an auction. An insider informed Page Six that the book is expected to be “rushed out as soon as possible.”

Whitmer has gained prominence within the Democratic Party, particularly for her far-left politics and unbending support for Biden, who is currently embroiled in an impeachment inquiry and facing numerous scandals related to border chaos and global conflicts.

The Michigan governor was considered among the women to join Biden’s ticket during his successful presidential bid in 2020.

As reported by the Detroit News, Whitmer eventually informed the Biden campaign that she was no longer interested in being considered for the vice-presidential role. Instead, she suggested he choose a black woman, advice that Biden listed to by selecting Harris, then-a California senator.

However, with critics highlighting Biden’s visibly declining health at the age of 81, Whitmer has once again emerged as a potential contender for the vice presidency or even the White House, according to Page Six.

Moreover, the book places her as a potential Democratic favorite for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination.

“If Joe Biden croaked tomorrow, there are … people who would absolutely pave the runway for Gretchen to land in the Oval [Office] in either a presidential or VP role,” an individual with knowledge of the book deal told Page Six.

The individual claimed that Whitmer is perceived as “the future” of the Democratic Party, “in a way that is less glossy and annoying compared to” California Gov. Gavin Newsom, another rumored top contender in the event of a health emergency affecting Biden or Harris.

Courts Rebuke Jack Smith for Violating Trump’s Rights

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Four appellate court judges slammed special counsel Jack Smith for violating former President Donald Trump’s privacy rights after Smith was granted access to Trump’s now-defunct Twitter account information Tuesday, the Independent Sentinel reported.

U.S. Circuit Judge Neomi Rao wrote a joint statement, signed by Circuit judges Justin Walker, Gregory Katsas and Karen Henderson, condemning the ruling on the grounds that it recklessly undermined the presidential powers of executive privilege and thus threatened to upset the system of checks and balances among the coequal branches of government.

Smith surreptitiously sought the warrant to access Trump’s accounts without the knowledge of the former president or those with whom he may have privately corresponded on Twitter.

“This case turned on the First Amendment rights of a social media company, but looming in the background are consequential and novel questions about executive privilege and the balance of power between the President, Congress, and the courts,” the judges wrote.

The statement also rebuked far-left judges Beryl Howell and Florence Pan, the two who granted Smith permission to access Trump’s files.

“Seeking access to former President Donald Trump’s Twitter/X account, Special Counsel Jack Smith directed a search warrant at Twitter and obtained a nondisclosure order that prevented Twitter from informing President Trump about the search,” the judges noted.

According to Rao and her compatriots, the undermining of the executive branch’s power by way of a power play against Trump could have longstanding political consequences.

“Rather than follow established precedent, for the first time in American history, a court allowed access to presidential communications before any scrutiny of executive privilege,” they wrote.

“We should not have endorsed this gambit,” the judges added, calling it a mistake and an “unprecedented search” that completely defies both the Constitution and legal precedent.

Nonetheless, the reckless overreach by Smith and his partisan colleagues at the Justice Department may ultimately prove to be their undoing through a case in which Trump is not even one of the parties named, according to a Politico report.

The Supreme Court is set to hear Joseph W. Fischer v. United States, in which the high court will decide whether or not the weaponized DOJ has improperly applied the charge for “obstruction of an official proceeding” in more than 150 cases related to Jan. 6.

Critics note that the statute, part of the Sarbanes–Oxley Act that stemmed from the George W. Bush-era Enron scandal, had only ever been applied to financial disclosures

While the Fischer case has little to do with Trump directly, if the court rules in Fischer’s favor, a good portion of Smith’s case against Trump could be immediately jeopardized since two of the four counts Trump was indicted on are the obstruction of an official proceeding and conspiracy to do so.
