Leftist Wisc. Judges Redefine ‘Sidewalk’ to Justify Gov’t Property Theft

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In violation of the U.S. Constitution’s guaranteed right to the acquisition and protection of one’s own property, Wisconsin judges redefined what a sidewalk is in order to allow the state to seize the property of a private business, Reason reported.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court of Wisconsin ruled in Sojenhomer v. Village of Egg Harbor that a sidewalk is not a “pedestrian way,” allowing local governments to seize the land under eminent domain.

The Village of Egg Harbor condemned part of the land of the Shipwrecked Brew Pub and Restaurant in order to build a sidewalk. The owners, Sojenhomer LLC, sued Egg Harbor on the grounds that such a move would not be allowed under state statute.

Unfortunately for the Sojenhomer LLC and the state’s citizens, however, a leftist majority decided in a 4-3 decision that their property can be confiscated and condemned for the creation of sidewalks—by first reinterpreting, for sake of legal argument, the quintessential function of a sidewalk.

The state’s high court did so because a law on the books prohibits the use of eminent domain for the purposes of creating “pedestrian ways.”

Justice Rebecca Frank Dallet wrote the majority opinion, arguing that the state’s statute uses “pedestrian way” and “sidewalk” in ways that indicate the two are supposedly different in meaning.

“We find several indications that the definition of pedestrian way does not include sidewalks,” Dallet wrote.

With sidewalks and pedestrian ways differentiated, municipalities in the state no longer have to respect property rights.

In a dissenting opinion, Chief Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler argued that a practical reading of the statute would suggest that “pedestrian ways” are used as a blanket term to cover sidewalks and other nonessential forms of infrastructure that inherently do not justify property confiscation.

“The plain language of the statute demonstrates that the term ‘pedestrian way’ is broadly defined, and includes sidewalks,” Ziegler wrote.

She called her view “a straightforward, common sense interpretation” of the statutory language, given that sidewalks are “constructed for the use of pedestrians.”

Boeing Malfunction Leaves Astronauts Stranded in Space

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Embattled aircraft manufacturer Boeing left two astronauts stranded in space after an unresolved maintenance issue, according to the Independent.

Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore landed on the International Space Station on June 6 on a Boeing Starliner spacecraft, and expected to be there for only a week.

Mechanical problems delayed arrival back on earth for several weeks. The astronauts must remain on the ISS until June 26 at the earliest.

Williams and Wilmore reported issues with five thrusters and four helium leaks on their incoming space flight. The ship sprung an additional helium leak while parked at the station.

“We want to give our teams a little bit more time to look at the data, do some analysis, and make sure we’re really ready to come home,” said Steve Stich, NASA’s commercial crew program manager.

Experts reported that Starliner should be operational soon.

Dana Weigel, manager of the International Space Station, said the crew was happy about the delay.

“They love Starliner, they love being in the vehicle, they love being on ISS,” Weigel said. “I think, you know, if you ask Butch and Suni, they might want to stay for a long period of time.”

Boeing neglected to release official statements from the astronauts regarding the delay.

Boeing’s Starliner attempted to compete with SpaceX’s new Crew Dragon capsule, which reliably sent crew members to the space station for several years.

In 2019, the Starliner failed several unmanned tests due to software glitches and design problems. It took three more years for the group to perform a successful landing on the ISS.

This most recent debacle reflected poorly the already struggling Boeing.

Boeing airplanes faced scrutiny from the public and the Federal Aviation Administration after a jetliner suffered an inflight fuselage blowout, causing the main cabin to lose pressure.

Boeing has a history of prioritizing virtue signaling and DEI initiatives over customer safety as well as constantly making internal changes on their safety reporting process, causing confusion among their employees.

Fla. Court Hears Arguments Why Jack Smith Is Illegitimate as Leftist Attacks on Judge Continue

(Headline USA) Lawyers for Donald Trump argued Friday that the Justice Department prosecutor who charged the former president with hoarding classified documents at his Florida estate was illegally appointed and that the case should therefore be dismissed.

The challenge to the legality of special counsel Jack Smith’s appointment kicked off a three-day hearing that is set to continue next week. It brings further delays to a criminal case that had been scheduled for trial last month but has been snarled by a pileup of unresolved legal disputes.

The motion questioning Smith’s selection and funding by the Justice Department is one of multiple challenges to the indictment the defense has raised, so far unsuccessfully, in the year since the charges were brought.

This particular argument, however, has more than just procedural implications. Initially floated last year by former Reagan Attorney General Ed Meese, in an amicus brief as part of Smith’s Washington, D.C., lawfare case against Trump, it contends that current Attorney General Merrick Garland circumvented the normal process for appointing a special counsel through the DOJ.

The decision to go outside the DOJ—recruiting Smith instead from a globalist court in The Hague, Switzerland—meant that he never received the constitutionally mandated advice and consent of the U.S. Senate that other officials did prior to receiving special counsel appointments.

Lawyers for both sides argued their cases for several hours Friday, with Trump attorney Emil Bove at one point asserting that the DOJ could create a “shadow government” through the appointment of special counsels who were entirely unaccountable to any sort of vetting or oversight.

Normal protocol has been for special counsels to be created by Congress and not the attorney general, although the DOJ then has discretion on whom to appoint from within the existing network if U.S. attorneys who have been confirmed by the Senate.

Smith’s team has insisted Garland was fully empowered as the head of the Justice Department to make the appointment and to delegate prosecutorial decisions to him. They note that a similar argument failed during a challenge to the special counsel appointment of Robert Mueller, who was tapped during the Trump administration to investigate potential ties between Russia and Trump’s 2016 campaign.

The Mueller investigation was authorized by Congress, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions pointedly recused himself from the case—much to Trump’s chagrin—to avoid the perception of any partisan conflicts of interest. Garland, by contrast, has brazenly plowed ahead, despite multiple criticisms over the appearance that his actions have explicit partisan motivations.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon did not immediately rule, but in an unusual move, she agreed to hear arguments later in the day from legal experts who were not part of the case.

Even as Smith’s status comes under scrutiny, however, leftists have launched a sustained attack on the judge herself, waging an all-out war to get her removed from the case by leveraging whatever institutional power they can muster.

That has included activist campaigns to file hundreds of form complaints about Cannon, as well as recruiting leftist judges to pressure her into recusing herself.

Cannon, a Trump appointee, had exasperated prosecutors even before the June 2023 indictment by granting a Trump request to have an independent arbiter review the classified documents taken from Mar-a-Lago—an order that was overturned by a unanimous federal appeals panel.

She was rebuked in March by prosecutors after she asked both sides to formulate jury instructions and to respond to a premise of the case that Smith’s team called “fundamentally flawed.”

The leftist prosecutors were outraged by the notion that the jury should be granted access to all the evidence in the trial, including the still-classified documents seized by Biden officials, who dubiously claimed that they were a threat to national security.

Trump has argued that under the Presidential Records Act he had broad powers to declassify documents from his administration and to determine which of those documents belonged in the National Archives.

Cannon’s ruling asserted that for Trump to receive his constitutional rights to due process, equal protection under the law and trial by a jury of his peers, it would be the jury’s prerogative, and not Smith’s, to decide whether the documents in question belonged in Trump’s possession.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is poised to issue within days a landmark opinion on whether Trump is immune from prosecution for acts he took in office or whether he can be be prosecuted by Smith’s team for his efforts to investigate and challenge the results of the highly disputed 2020 presidential election.

On Cannon’s docket for next week are arguments over a limited gag order that prosecutors have requested to bar Trump from comments they fear could endanger the safety of FBI agents and other law enforcement officials involved in the case after recent revelations that the DOJ had authorized agents to kill Trump if the need arose during the dubious Mar-a-Lago raid last October.

Trump’s lawyers have said any speech restrictions would infringe on his free speech rights. Cannon initially rejected the request on technical grounds, saying prosecutors had not sufficiently conferred with defense lawyers before seeking the gag restrictions. But prosecutors subsequently renewed the request.

Another issue set to be discussed next week is a defense request to exclude from the case evidence seized by the FBI during the Mar-a-Lago search, and to dismiss the indictment because of evidence it includes that came from former members of Trump’s defense team.

Though attorney–client privilege protects defense lawyers from being forced to testify about their confidential conversations with clients, prosecutors can get around that shield if they can establish that the lawyer’s legal services are being used to further a crime.

In their indictment last year, prosecutors repeatedly cited details of conversations Trump had with M. Evan Corcoran, an attorney who represented the former president during the investigation and who was forced by a judge to appear before the grand jury investigating Trump.

Questions remain surrounding the process by which the FBI obtained access to those conversations and whether it had probable cause for violating Trump’s attorney–client privilege to do so in the first place.

Critics suggest that the agency was, in fact, fishing for a crime to reverse-engineer its justification for eavesdropping on Trump’s privileged legal conversations so that the agents themselves weren’t accused of illegal conduct.

Trump Causes Stir w/ Comments Backing Green Cards for Foreign Grads

(Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump said in an interview posted Thursday he wants to give automatic green cards to foreign students who graduate from U.S. colleges, a sharp departure from the America First rhetoric he typically uses on the campaign trail.

Trump was asked about plans for companies to be able to import the “best and brightest” in a podcast taped Wednesday with venture capitalists and tech investors called the “All-In.”

“What I want to do and what I will do is you graduate from a college, I think you should get automatically as part of your diploma a green card to be able to stay in this country,” he said, vowing to address this concern on day one. “And that includes junior colleges too, anybody graduates from a college. You go there for two years or four years.”

While Trump was quick during his presidency to denounce illegal immigration, his administration previously supported granting visas to skilled workers, and he has often tried to clarify that he does not inherently oppose the idea of immigration, provided it is adding value to the U.S. economy instead of detracting from or leeching off it.

The announcement, curiously, came shortly after one in which the Biden administration declared that it would seek backdoor amnesty for an estimated half a million illegal immigrants who meet certain provisions for having lived in the country more than 10 years and been married to a U.S. citizen.

Trump, in contrast to the Biden administration’s open-borders policy, has promised to carry out the largest deportation operation in U.S. history if elected.

Still, after Biden conducted the largest importation of illegals into the country’s interior, it remains to be seen how successful he might be in extricating the more than 11 million estimated “newcomers” over the past three years alone.

Trump’s prior promise to build a “big, beautiful border wall” never fully came to fruition due to the red tape that Democrats put up to prevent its implementation.

Trump has previously supported curbs on some types of legal immigration—such as family-based visas (i.e. chain migration) and the visa lottery program—that offered no defined benefit to the U.S., other than the political advantage it may give to Democrats.

He has also said the H1-B program commonly used by companies to hire foreign workers temporarily was “very bad” and exploited by tech companies to get foreign workers for lower pay.

Right after taking office in 2017, Trump issued his “Buy American and Hire American” executive order, directing Cabinet members to suggest reforms to ensure that business visas were only awarded to the highest-paid or most-skilled applicants to protect American workers.

During the conversation with “All-In,” he blamed the coronavirus pandemic for being unable to implement these measures while he was president.

He said he knows of stories of people who graduate from top colleges and want to stay in the U.S. but can’t secure visas to do so, forcing them to return to their native countries, specifically naming India and China. He said they go on and become multibillionaires, employing thousands of workers.

“You need a pool of people to work for your company,” Trump said. “And they have to be smart people. Not everybody can be less than smart. You need brilliant people.”

In a statement released hours after the podcast was posted, campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump’s support for recruiting the highest-quality foreign workers was consistent with his longstanding positions and policies.

“President Trump has outlined the most aggressive vetting process in U.S. history, to exclude all communists, radical Islamists, Hamas supporters, America haters and public charges,” Leavitt said.

“He believes, only after such vetting has taken place, we ought to keep the most skilled graduates who can make significant contributions to America,” she added. “This would only apply to the most thoroughly vetted college graduates who would never undercut American wages or workers.”

Trump Dwarfs Biden in Fundraising after Recent Lawfare Convictions

(Headline USA) Donald Trump’s campaign out-raised President Joe Biden by more than $60 million last month, according to federal filings that detailed the Republican fundraising explosion sparked by Trump’s felony convictions, in what was widely regarded as a brazen miscarriage of justice weaponized by George Soros-backed Democrats for the express purpose of meddling in the election.

Biden’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee together raised $85 million in May and reported $212 million in the bank at the end of the month.

That does not include roughly $40 million raised by Biden and his top surrogates in recent days during a Hollywood fundraiser with celebrities like George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black and Barbra Streisand—or a separate $20 million donation from former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to pro-Biden groups.

Bloomberg, one of the world’s wealthiest men and the top overall donor in past campaign cycles, sent $19 million to the pro-Biden group Future Forward in addition to sending the legal maximum of $929,600 to the Biden Victory Fund, according to a person familiar with the transfers.

Bloomberg—whom Biden bestowed last month with a Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award—also formally endorsed Biden on Thursday. “I stood with Joe Biden in 2020, and I am proud to do so again,” he said in a statement.

Still, Trump’s fundraising for, for one month at least, seemed to dwarf Biden’s, according to the filings made public Thursday.

The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee said it raised a jaw-dropping $141 million in May, including tens of millions donated immediately after Trump was convicted of 34 felonies in the New York porn-star case led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan.

At the same time, reclusive billionaire Timothy Mellon—who had previously supported the campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.—donated a stunning $50 million to a pro-Trump super PAC the day after Trump’s guilty verdict, according to the filings. Super-PAC donations are not associated with the actual campaign, and candidates are prohibited from coordinating with them, even though they advocate on behalf of the candidate in question.

Overall, Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee reported more than $170 million in the bank at the end of May.

Biden’s campaign attempted, without evidence, to claim that Trump was siphoning money and resources from down-ballot candidates and devoting RNC resources to cover his legal fees, even as it used government resources to wage its partisan lawfare attacks against him..

“Our strong and consistent fundraising program grew by millions of people in May, a clear sign of strong and growing enthusiasm for the president and vice president every single month,” claimed strong Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez.

“The money we continue to raise matters, and it’s helping the campaign build out an operation that invests in reaching and winning the voters who will decide this election––a stark contrast to Trump’s PR stunts and photo-ops that he’s pretending is a campaign.”

The accusation by Rodriguez, the granddaughter of illegal immigration activist Cesar Chavez, may strike some as bizarre considering Biden’s Hollywood fundraiser—for which he cut short a meeting with European world leaders—was the ultimate photo-op stunt.

One of the Left’s go-to tactics in the current campaign, ripped from the playbook of Saul Alinsky, has been to accuse their opponents of the very things they are doing.

The numbers detailed in the campaigns’ latest Federal Election Commission filings suggest Democrats may still maintain a cash advantage in the 2024 presidential contest given the vast advantage they have in dark-money billionaire donors, like Bloomberg and Soros, as well as corporate special interests and—although technically illegal—money from foreign nationals that comes via untraceable aggregation sites like ActBlue.

Almost four months before Election Day, though, Republicans are closing the gap—if it isn’t closed already.

The new fundraising figures underscore the extent to which the rules of presidential politics are being rewritten in the era of leftist lawfare, and by Trump’s unique ability to withstand the slings and arrows—indeed, to thrive off them.

At almost any other time in U.S. history, a presidential candidate would have been forced to leave an election after being convicted of dozens of felonies. But in 2024, Trump’s guilty verdict has instead fueled a massive fundraising surge that puts his team in a position to ramp up advertising and swing-state infrastructure, just as voters begin paying closer attention to the election.

Backed by Mellon’s massive donation, the pro-Trump super PAC known as MAGA Inc. on Thursday reserved $3.5 million in television advertising set to begin July 3 across Georgia and Pennsylvania, according to the media tracking firm AdImpact. Overall, the group reported a $68.8 million haul for May, ending the month with $93.7 million in the bank.

Kennedy, whom Mellon has also supported, raised $2.6 million last month and finished May with $6.4 million in the bank. The vast majority of his fundraising total came from running mate Nicole Shanahan, a wealthy Silicon Valley lawyer. The Kennedy campaign spent more than it raised for the month.

Despite gaining early buzz and momentum with his appearances on non-traditional, anti-establishment media—such as Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson and Russell Brand—the political scion has appeared to be pushed significantly leftward by Shanahan’s influence, pivoting back to some of his long-held radical policies on issues like abortion and reparations to court Democrat voters, which may work to Trump’s advantage.

Would Be Rapist Gets Beatdown from Family of Taekwondo Black-Belts

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A family of taekwondo black belts in Texas saved a woman from being sexually assaulted.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that Han An, his wife Hong An and their three children Hannah, Simon and Christian, all of whom have black belts in the Korean martial art, saved a cell phone store employee who worked directly next to their dojo, Yong-In Tae Kwon Do, in Katy, Texas, on June 18, 2024, according to ABC News.

“When we already opened the door, the male was on top of the female already inside the employees’ room. So, by that moment, my dad grabbed him, dragged him out, and the girl was really, really crying, desperately crying, and then she ran towards me. She needed the comfort, the calming down, and then she wanted to go away from that situation,” Hannah said.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez also released a statement on Facebook.

“They were able to pull the female away from her attacker. The male then turned to attack the good Samaritans. By utilizing their training and discipline, they managed to stop the assault and hold him,” he wrote.

The Harris County Attorney’s Office identified the attacker as Alex Robinson who has been charged with felony attempted sexual assault.

Han An said that he had seen Robinson earlier that day on his bicycle, riding up and down the adjacent plaza and looking into different stores. After he heard screaming from the cell phone store, the entire family rushed into the store where they found Robinson on top of the woman.

While women were escorting the woman out of the store, the men in the family stayed inside to subdue Robinson, waiting about 15 minutes for sheriff’s deputies to arrive. The frightened woman told Hannah that they “came just in time.”

Han An added that the attacker bit him twice and scratched him as he restrained him. After that, one of his sons attacked Robinson to stop him from assaulting his father.

Robinson was in custody with a bond set at $100,000. He was arraigned on June 21, 2024.

Jew-Hating Colleges, Universities Face Exodus of Jewish Students

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The “elite” and “respectable” universities all around the country started to face a trend for next fall — an exodus of Jewish students — after allowing blatant and shameless anti-Semitism on their campuses.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that Jewish undergrads are leaving schools with significant anti-Semitism problems, such as Columbia University and Northwestern University.

On the other hand, Yeshiva University, a New York City-based private Orthodox Jewish school, has seen a 53% increase in transfers this spring, after extending its transfer deadline for Jewish students who didn’t want to be harassed while they were getting their college degrees.

“No student should have to go through what Jewish students went through this year, and not have the university’s backing… [Administrators] rewarded instead of punishing people who have been openly anti-Semitic and [intimidated] Jewish students,” an anonymous former Northwestern University student said.

The reason why the student decided to transfer to another school was because the school’s administrators allowed Jew-haters to constantly harass Jewish students by screaming phrases such as “You’re a Jew, go back to Poland.”

“Prior to October 7th, I felt safe basically everywhere on campus. [After that] I did not feel safe walking around at night alone, going to the cafeteria or the gym,” the student added.

Occidental College is another “institution of higher learning” that Jewish students massively started to flee from because they were constantly harassed by anti-Semitic protesters who called them “f***ing Zionist[s],” “f***ing Jew[s],” and “k*ke[s]” who should “go back to the gas chamber.”

Columbia University was yet another infamous breeding ground for the Hamas supporters that Jews started leaving to finish their education, with even Columbia’s Orthodox rabbi urging Jewish students to not go back to the university.

Aside from Yeshiva, other universities accepted Jewish students. Among those institutions were colleges and universities in Florida after Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., cracked down on pro-Hamas activists and Brandeis University.

“We received about 90 applications between the announcement [of the extension] and the end of May. About a third of those students identified themselves in their applications as Jewish,” Brandeis spokeswoman Julie Jette said.

Female Support for Biden Hits Lowest Since 2004 Among Dems

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The far-left New York Times revealed in its new polling analysis this month that Joe Biden’s support among women is the lowest for any Democrat since 2004, while Donald Trump got an eight-point lead.

The Times pointed out that one of the major reasons why women started to favor Trump more was because of the inflation that they are more likely to notice since they are mostly responsible for buying things for their households and, therefore, notice the skyrocketed prices for everything.

In 2020, Biden led Trump by 13 points among women. However, Trump now leads by eight points, a total gain of 21 points.

The analysis showed that Biden’s soaring costs — over about 20% across the board — impacted the way women would vote at the end of this year, especially among black and Hispanic women.

“He is winning among [b]lack women in the KFF survey by 58 percentage points, but that represents a significant drop from his 86 percentage point margin among [b]lack women in the approach to the 2020 election… Mr. Biden’s lead with Hispanic women has also shrunk substantially, to about 12 points,” the Times wrote.

The survey then pointed out that, overall, Biden’s lead among women is four points.

“Twice as many women say they were better off financially under Mr. Trump… Young women, a key constituency that Democrats are hoping to retain this cycle, were nearly three times as likely to say things were better for them financially under Mr. Trump than Mr. Biden,” the survey indicated.

On the other hand, Trump has become more popular among female voters, especially among black and Hispanic voters, who have always been historically loyal to Democrats.

However, women starting to vote for Trump is not the only problem that Biden and the entire regime face.

In March, polling from Gallup and Siena College revealed that non-white voters’ support of Democrats has deteriorated to the lowest point in 60 years. Instead of supporting democrats, Hispanic and black men could vote for Trump in proportions that have not been seen in American politics since the 1950s, Breitbart reported.

All of Trump’s ‘Felonies’ Traced Back to Biden’s Pledge to Weaponize Constitution

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A massive witch hunt on Donald Trump was recently exposed as a coordinated plan by the establishment that is traced back to Joe Biden’s pledge to spit on the United States Constitution so that Trump would never become the president again.

On Nov. 9, 2022, Biden vowed to pursue measures beyond the ballot box to prevent the reelection of Trump.

“We have to demonstrate that he WILL NOT take power — if he does run — by making sure he, under the legitimate efforts of the Constitution, DOES NOT become the next president again,” Biden said.

On Nov. 18, 2022, three events “coincidentally” took place either at or with the knowledge and involvement of the White House that directly led to the escalation of the war against Trump, Breitbart reported.

The first thing that happened was Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland’s announcement of the appointment of Jack Smith as special counsel, a very biased prosecutor who just “happened” to be a Trump hater.

While Garland was making his announcement, Nathan Wade, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s top county prosecutor, was having an eight-hour-long meeting in the White House counsel’s office.

The meeting was incredibly unusual, considering that most county prosecutors would never receive an invitation from the White House, let alone spend hours talking with high-powered attorneys who work there, which means that he was chosen as one of the pawns on the board to take down Trump.

That same day, Acting Associate Attorney General Michael Colangelo, one of the highest-ranking law enforcement officers in the country, shocked everyone when he left his job to become an assistant prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

Since the news about him became known on Dec. 5, 2022, if Colangelo gave a two-week notice before leaving, that would mean that he submitted his notice on Nov. 18, 2022, the same day Garland announced Smith’s appointment and Wade was talking with the lawyers in the White House.

This would explain why Colangelo, the third-highest-ranking official at the Department of Justice, would take a job with a significantly reduced salary and prestige.

Colangelo’s arrival in Manhattan coincides with a renewal of Trump’s witch hunt.

Ex-FBI Official Reveals Leftist Smear Campaign Against Judge Cannon

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The radical left is subjecting U.S. Judge Aileen Cannon to a smear campaign because her “deck isn’t stacked” against former President Donald Trump, a former FBI official declared in an interview on Friday.

Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker decried the rampant media hits and legal complaints filed against Cannon, the jurist who has held Special Counsel Jack Smith accountable in his legal actions against Trump.

“I say these people don’t know what to do when the deck isn’t stacked in their favor,” Swecker said during an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Morning with Maria.

“There have been 1,000 complaints against the judge, but as the chief circuit court judge for the 11th circuit pointed out, there was an orchestrated campaign against her,” Swecker added, referring to a ruling by the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

On May 22, the appellate court dismissed over 1,000 complaints about Cannon, describing the filings as part of an “orchestrated campaign” and ordering the court’s clerk to no longer accept similar allegations against Cannon.

The Daily Caller first reported on Swecker’s remarks.

“[Chief Judge William H. Pryor Jr.] just issued a ruling, it’s posted on the district court website, that said the clerk is not to take any more complaints from the public, that there’s no evidence of any bias on the part of this judge and that there’s no reason for recusal simply because she was appointed by President Trump,” Swecker added, according to the Daily Caller

“So, it’s clearly sort of a far left-wing attempt to, again, try to stack — get rid of her and stack the deck. They don’t know what to do when the deck isn’t stacked,” he continued.

Cannon has drawn backlash from the radical left for appointing a special master to scrutinize Smith’s management of documents seized from Mar-a-Lago.

Unlike other judges presiding over leftist-led cases against Trump, Cannon has questioned some of Smith’s directives and filings.

She was appointed by Trump to her federal bench in November 2020.
