(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Hollywood released another cutting-edge homosexual romance film filled with graphic anal sex scenes, and when it flopped at the box office, the lead actor blamed “straight people.”
Like every barrier-breaking film that Hollywood produces, Bros received excellent reviews from critics and had a $22 million budget, but it faced a few problems, The Blaze reported.
Americans have suffered through years of so-called stereotype-defying films and shows, which bill themselves as edgy and counter-cultural but support the mainstream culture.
It is almost mandatory that Hollywood films contain LGBTQ representation and praise homosexual intercourse. Plus, Americans do not care to watch more movies that denigrate heterosexuality and traditional families.
Billy Eichner, who plays Bobby, complained that heterosexual bigots caused his movie to gross a mere $4.8 million in its opening weekend.
That’s just the world we live in, unfortunately. Even with glowing reviews, great Rotten Tomatoes scores, an A CinemaScore etc, straight people, especially in certain parts of the country, just didn’t show up for Bros. And that’s disappointing but it is what it is.

Two characters, Tamara and Cherry, openly scorn heterosexuality and treat it as a passing fad: “Oh, my God, do you guys remember straight people?,” Tamara asked. “Yeah, they had a good run,” Cherry responded.
But Bros received a good response in Los Angeles, where LGBTQ ideas have become religious dogma.
Last night I snuck in and sat in the back of a sold out theater playing BROS in LA. The audience howled with laughter start to finish, burst into applause at the end, and some were wiping away tears as they walked out. It was truly magical. Really. I am VERY proud of this movie.

The film showed in 3,350 theaters across the country, but it did not get “business in much of middle America and the south.”
Eichner instructed all non-bigots to see the film on Sunday to rescue his box-office failure.
Everyone who ISN’T a homophobic weirdo should go see BROS tonight! You will have a blast! And it *is* special and uniquely powerful to see this particular story on a big screen, esp for queer folks who don’t get this opportunity often. I love this movie so much. GO BROS!!! ❤️🌈
