(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Los Angeles’s corrupt district attorney sentenced a teen driver to roughly half a year in a juvenile probation camp for nearly killing a woman and her 8-month-old son by running them over with a stolen car, Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported.
The person who committed a crime also has a prior criminal history, Melugin tweeted.
(2/4) Per multiple law enforcement sources, the juvie was on probation, & violating it, at the time of this hit & run, and he had been previously convicted of felony poisoning after he spiked a teen girl’s drink at Palmdale high school in 2019. She was hospitalized. @FoxNews

Notwithstanding the criminal history and the apalling callousness of the crimes themselves (as revealed by nearby home surveillance videos), the George-Soros-linked DA, George Gascon, insisted that a light sentence was appropriate.
“Despite the juvie’s criminal history, sources in the LA DA’s office tell me that in accordance with his policies, Gascon’s admin didn’t charge the juvie w/ assault w/ a deadly weapon or attempted murder for the hit & run, which led to light juvie camp sentence,” Melugin reported.
Gascon, who faces a growing recall movement as rampant crime and homelessness promise to turn the deep blue city red, has faced harsh criticism, even from fellow Democrats like red-pilled Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
After Gascon attempted to implicate the LA Sheriff’s Department in the charging decision, Villanueva called him out for the lie.
“Gascon’s office told me @LASDHQ agreed with the lesser charges in the case,” according to Melugin’s tweet. “After @LACoSheriff pushed back & said LASD had no involvement in the case or the [’] lightweight sentencing [’], Gascon’s office admitted LASD wasn’t involved & told me they will [’] correct [’] their statement.”
Melugin also managed to speak with the mother who was run over by the car, who slammed the woke DA for his incompetence.
“Someone with a criminal record tried to kill me and my son, and George Gascon thinks that five months of camp is a sufficient punishment,” she said. “That’s because he doesn’t care. Gascon and his staff are highlighting their incompetence and their complete disregard for victims.”
NEW: Just spoke with the mother who was run over by this juvenile. She was unaware of his criminal history, or that he was on probation when the hit & run took place. She is furious about the light sentence, and the way this case was handled.
