(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) President Joe Biden and Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., joined forces for a disastrous press conference in Philadelphia last week to address the Interstate 95 bridgecollapse, the Daily Mail reported.
The president was visiting Philadelphia to address a recent highway bridge collapse, and he was greeted by Fetterman, who joined Biden dressed in shorts and a hoodie.
The stroke victim then delivered an incoherent set of remarks, mispronouncing words and stumbling through his message.
“And now, I’m standing next to the president again, next to a collapsed bridge here,” Fetterman said, trailing off.
According to Fetterman, Biden came to Philadelphia “to commit to work with the governor and the ‘delegadation’ to make sure that we get this fixed quick, fast, as well, too.”
He also noted that, despite the massive deadly highway collapse, Biden is “committed to ‘infructure,’ yeah, and then on top of that the jewel kind of a law of the ‘infration.'”
No stranger to embarrassing gaffes, Biden politely stood by while Fetterman uttered nonsense.
While in Philadelphia, the president promised to use the powers of the federal government to get the interstate highway fixed within weeks.
“I’ve directed my team … to move heaven and earth to get this done as soon as humanly possible,” Biden said.
He also suggested that he told Pennsylvania officials that “there’s no more important project right now in the country as far as I’m concerned.”
He noted that the situation is a “crisis” which requires “all hands on deck.”
“We’re with you,” he added. “We’re going to stay with you until this is rebuilt, until it’s totally finished.”
Biden capped off his remarks with a bizarre and vaguely sexual joke that drew crickets from those in attendance, saying that if he failed to deliver on his promises, he would find himself sleeping alone.

He subsequently explained that his wife, first lady Jill Biden, was a fan of Philadelphia, although that did not elicit any different reaction.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg joined for the visit, echoing Biden’s statements and warning that his signature inflation will only get worse until the bridge is repaired.
“This tragic crash is having an outsized impact on commuters and on goods movement up and down the I-95 corridor,” Buttigieg said.
“It’s a key artery for the movement of people and goods and that’s why it’s so important to make sure it’s restored quickly.”
Buttigieg has come under fire recently for allegedly misusing federal government resources, incluidng jets owned by the Federal Aviation Administration, for his personal travel and leisure.
The FAA thus far has refused to release the records of his flights.
Meanwhile, he has garnered a reputation for going in absentia during major transportation crises, including a recent train derailment that resulted in a toxic spill.
He avoided the scene in Palestine, Ohio for weeks until former President Donald Trump visited the site, forcing him into damage control.
