(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In an interview with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., demanded federal regulations to manipulate what Americans can watch on cable news.
“I believe that when it comes to broadcast television like Fox News these are subject to federal law, federal regulation in terms of what’s allowed on air and what isn’t,” the self-proclaimed Democratic-socialist said on the show “Inside with Jen Psaki”. “When you look at what Tucker Carlson and some of these other folks on Fox do, it is very, very clearly incitement of violence, very clearly incitement of violence and that is the line that I think we have to, be willing to contend with.”
The congresswoman’s demands caused Twitter to be filled with reactions from conservative personalities.

Regulating news and information is a tactic often used by authoritative regimes to suppress negative or dissenting news. Conservative commentator and former congressional candidate Robby Starbuck did not shy away from pointing out the similarities between the lawmaker’s demands to communist regimes.
“AOC just went full communist and Jen Psaki had no problem with it,” he said. “Believe them when they show you who they are. This is evil.”
