(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The final phrase of President Biden’s State of the Union speech pricked up some ears and caused some concern, Twitchy reported.
“God bless you all and may God protect our troops,” Biden said, starting his conclusion. “Go get him!”
Go get who?

What did Biden mean by “Go get him,” at the end? Did he think he was ending a pre-game speech? pic.twitter.com/pq9kweUroP

However, it was not clear whom Biden wanted to “get” or who will be doing the “getting,” which has caused a great deal of confusion on social media.
Some believed he was attempting to say “go get ’em,” the popular term for encouragement.
No, not ‘Go get him’. ‘Go Get ‘Em’. It’s a phrase of encouragement. Go get ‘em. Go be successful. Win.

If this is the case, it is still unclear who Biden was directing the phrase at. There is some speculation that Biden said this to encourage Ukrainian troops, but this has not been confirmed.
Some think Biden’s quip was directed at Putin and Russia:
Did he just low key declare war against Russia??

I really hope those three words don’t trigger a world war..

With the exception of Biden’s final words, his State of the Union address was received largely along party lines.
Republicans offered criticism of Biden’s administration thus far, and Democrats were quicker to accept the rebranding of the administration.
However, even within his own party, there were strong indications of discontent, with Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Colin Allred of Texas both delivering rebuttals to their respective constituent bases on the far Left.
While CNN’s largely left-wing audience came out mostly in support of Biden’s address, conservative critics noted that the network’s poll showed only 41% with a “very positive” reaction, which was the lowest since George W. Bush’s 2007 State of the Union speech.
