(John Ransom, Headline USA) An official review of White House records shows there are no missing minutes from the January 6 call logs, as has been reported by the mainstream media over the past several days.
Democrats have alleged that there are seven hours-worth of missing White House call logs from January 6th, 2021, the date of the Capitol protests, with the implication that the missing call logs would somehow turn into criminal charges against Trump by proving his complicity in the riots.
There were several possible explanations for the lack of records, including the very same practices that stopped former President Barack Obama from recording every call he made from the White House, CNN reported.
CNN Breaking: The 6 pages of WH switchboard logs for 1/6 are complete based on an official review of White House records, according to a source familiar with the matter. There are no missing pages & the 7 hour gap is likely explained by use of WH landlines & cell phones link👇🏻

A former Obama staffer related to CNN that often Obama had somebody place a phone call for him, and then have it transferred to him when the caller was on the line, which avoided the White House switchboard and so wasn’t recorded in the official logs.
Led by the Washington Post, the mainstream media have been breathless over the last several days about the possibility of a redux for Watergate, when 18 ½ minutes of tape of Nixon’s Oval Office conversations were missing, and it proved to be somewhat of a smoking gun in the case.
“Could Trump have used burner phones? Or could someone even have engaged in Watergate-style tampering?,” conspired Washington Post.
“The ‘gap in President Donald Trump’s phone logs of seven hours and 37 minutes, including the period when the [Capitol] was being violently assaulted’ makes the infamous 18-minute gap in Nixon’s tapes look like nothing in comparison,” tweeted Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe.
Tribe, 80, an uber liberal fond of conspiracy theories that involve Trump, was once reprimanded by Harvard for plagiarism.
“There’s just really no explanation for this seven hours,” said Virginia Rep. Elaine Luria, a Democrat, while noting the “Watergate overtones” of the missing hours to the Hill.
“If I was to go even further, you know, we’ve talked a lot in the committee about the 187 minute, the three-plus hours that this was happening on national TV — that the president sat and watched this,” she said.
Yes, there was no other explanation, other than the truth, which a cursory examination of how the White House runs would have revealed.
In the old days it’s thought that reporters got fired for reporting stories full of errors; but, no, reporters never get fired for anything other than fabrication or plagiarism, the last of which gets law professors and United States Senators mere reprimands.
