Zuckerberg Confirms FBI Interference w/ 2020 Election, Pushed to Censor Hunter Laptop Story

'That is election interference. That is an attack on democracy by our most powerful domestic government agency. It's unbelievable... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed this week that the FBI actively interfered with the 2020 presidential election, pressuring the tech titan to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story three weeks before voters headed to the polls.

Facebook complied, Zuckerberg said during an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The platform algorithmically censored an entirely accurate report on the laptop from hell for seven days because the FBI told them to restrict what they deemed, wrongly, to be election misinformation.

“There was domestic interference in the 2020 election,” Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., stated simply.

This would be the same cabal of bad actors from the Justice Department that has been told to produce for the public an honestly redacted version of the affidavit that was used to launch a militarized raid on President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

While Zuckerberg shifted attention on the FBI, Newsmax’s Tom Borelli noted that it was the same Zuckerberg who gave millions of “Zuckbucks” to dubious nonprofits in 2020 to gin up the Democrat vote.

“I mean, basically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us,” Zuckerberg said of the agency’s 2020 election tinkering. Agents told “some folks on our team” that ‘Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert.’”

“There was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election, we have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump that’s going to be similar to that,” Zuckerberg said of the FBI’s directives.

In response, Facebook drastically cut the distribution of the blockbuster Hunter Biden laptop story that the New York Post had accurately reported. Twitter and Facebook both censored the story, which would have likely proved devastating for then-candidate Joe Biden’s campaign, preventing it from going viral and gaining traction.

Zuckerberg said he couldn’t recall how extensive the distribution was cut and censored, but admitted “it’s meaningful.”

“So the FBI censored the story,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said.

“That is election interference. That is an attack on democracy by our most powerful domestic government agency. It’s unbelievable.”

The FBI’s actions were roundly condemned as another example of the Justice Department being weaponized to attack political opponents and to willfully sabotage the 2020 Trump campaign.

“So the FBI preemptively warned Facebook off Hunter Biden laptop reporting,” wrote Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo.

“This same agency effectively laundered Russian disinfo in the 2016 election in the form of Steele dossier. And later lied to a court to get wiretaps.”

Zuckerberg said he still had faith in the FBI’s ability to do its job. Some of which has now been confirmed to be interfering with elections to benefit preferred candidates.

“We just thought, hey, if the FBI, which I still view as a legitimate institution in this country, it’s a very professional law enforcement, they come to us and tell us we need to be on guard about something, then I want to take that seriously,” Zuckerberg said.

The tech giant’s leopard spots haven’t changed, if Facebook’s latest censorious ways are any indication.

The House Judiciary GOP reported that it was flagged by Facebook for violating “community standards” and censored a post criticizing the Biden’s regime student loan forgiveness scheme.

The “community standards”-offending tweet stated, “If you take out a loan, you pay it back. Period.”
