Trump Criticizes Afghan Refugee Program

(Headline USA) ​​ The man accused of shooting two National Guard members in Washington is one of about 76,000 Afghans brought to the United States after the chaotic withdrawal of the U.S. from their country as the Taliban took over, authorities said.

The program, called Operation Allies Welcome, was created after the 2021 decision to leave Afghanistan following 20 years of American intervention and billions of dollars of aid.

.Trump and many Republicans  said the refugees were not properly vetted in a resettlement process they said was as chaotic and poorly planned as leaving the country to the Taliban.

“This individual — and so many others — should have never been allowed to come here. Our citizens and servicemembers deserve far better than to endure the ongoing fallout from the Biden Administration’s catastrophic failures,” CIA Director John Ratcliffe said.

The accused shooter, identified by law enforcement officials as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, worked with the CIA “as a member of a partner force in Kandahar,” Ratcliffe said in a statement Thursday. It didn’t specify what Lakanwal did for America’s spy agency.

The Kandahar region in southern Afghanistan was in the Taliban heartland of the country and saw fierce fighting between the Taliban and NATO forces after the U.S.-led invasion in 2001 following the al-Qaida attacks on Sept. 11. The CIA relied on Afghan staff for translation, administrative and front-line fighting with their own paramilitary officers in the war.

Little is known about Lakanwal’s four years in the U.S. or why he drove across the country from his home in Bellingham, Washington, where a former landlord said he lived with his wife and five children.

Lakanwal was granted asylum in April under the Trump administration, according to #AfghanEvac, a group of veterans and others working to get Afghans who helped the U.S. out of the country in exchange for their help.

.After leaving Afghanistan, tens of thousands of those seeking resettlement ended up in sprawling air-conditioned tent villages at military bases like Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in central New Jersey, Fort McCoy in Wisconsin or at Fort Bliss in Texas.

After months of health screenings and background checks many were resettled in established Afghan communities in northern Virginia and the surrounding Washington area, as well as Northern California and Texas. States where between 1,000 and 3,000 have settled include Arizona, New York, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Nebraska and Pennsylvania, according to State Department data.

The president, who has described Afghanistan as “a hellhole on earth,” already planned to review every Afghan who entered the country under Operation Allies Welcome and reiterated that goal after Wednesday’s shooting.

“If they can’t love our country, we don’t want them,” Trump said in a message released on social media, adding that the shooting was “a crime against our entire nation.”

Trump Cancels Biden Orders Signed by Autopen

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Donald Trump said Friday he will “terminate” all executive orders enacted during the Biden administration that were approved using the controversial autopen. 

Unelected officials in the Biden White House repeatedly relied on the autopen to issue orders supposedly authorized by Joe Biden. 

According to the House Oversight Committee, several of these orders were pushed without Biden’s knowledge. 

In fact, several Biden aides, including Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Annie Tomasini and Anthony Bernal, invoked their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination when interviewed by the committee earlier this year. 

Trump announced his move in a Truth Social post. He did not specify whether he would issue a formal order to nullify the autopen-signed directives but declared they were “hereby terminated.” 

He added that nearly 92% of Biden’s orders were not signed by Biden but by the autopen controlled by staff. 

“The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States,” Trump wrote, blasting the staffers as “Radical Left Lunatics.” 

He continued, “I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally.” 

His comments landed one month after the House Oversight Committee released a report accusing Biden officials of exploiting Biden’s cognitive decline to push “executive actions without his direct authorization.”  

The report alleged that the scheme relied on the autopen. 

Trump appeared to reference the report’s findings, saying that “Biden was not involved in the Autopen process and, if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury.” 

Trump closed his post with, “Thank you for your attention to this matter!” 

In response to mounting accusations about the autopen’s use, Biden later told the leftist New York Times that his staff used the autopen on clemency and pardons because of the large volume of paperwork. 

According to the American Presidency Project by UC Santa Barbara, Biden signed 162 executive orders during his tenure. It is unclear how many were signed using the autopen.

Judge Rejects Israeli Official’s Attempt to Dismiss Sex Sting Charges

(José Niño, Headline USA)  An Israeli diplomat’s attempts to dismiss child luring charges collapsed in court Monday when a Nevada judge found that grand jury proceedings were properly conducted and provided adequate probable cause for prosecution.

Tom Alexandrovich, the executive director of the Cyber Defense Division at the Israel National Cyber Directorate, has pleaded not guilty to one count of luring children or mentally ill persons with the use of technology with the intent to engage in sexual conduct, as reported by 8 News Now. 

Per 8 News Now, Henderson police arrested Alexandrovich on Aug. 6, 2025 during a joint operation with federal authorities. Alexandrovich subsequently departed the country after posting bail without appearing before a judge.

A Clark County grand jury voted to indict Alexandrovich on the sex charge in October. According to a report by 8 News Now, his attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, filed documents afterward contesting the grand jury process and challenging the legality of the hearing.

Clark County District Court Judge Tina Talim ruled in favor of prosecutors Monday, determining that they did not make errors in the process and presented sufficient probable cause to grand jurors. Alexandrovich appeared virtually, as Talim had previously authorized him to do.

Defense attorneys argued that the application where the conversation started, called Pure, requires users to verify they are over 18. An undercover agent testified before the grand jury that she could not recall whether she uploaded identification to the app.

The decoy, who was actually an FBI agent, repeatedly stated during the chat that she was with her “dad” and that she was underage, according to documents.

“The petitioner continued communications after the decoy explicitly disclosed being 15,” Talim said. “The chats… contained discussions about sexual conduct. The petitioner agreed on items associated with sexual activity. The petitioner made statements encouraging the minor to create a ruse to leave her home. The petitioner drove to the approximate location of the agreed-upon meet-up.”

Alexandrovich told police during an interview that he felt “pushed” and that he believed the girl was 18. Police found no condoms on Alexandrovich following his arrest or in his rental car, documents stated.

The petition, a writ of habeas corpus, represents a common practice after grand jury proceedings and occurs when defense attorneys challenge the charges. A judge could dismiss the case if she identifies problems with the hearing or the process, though such outcomes are rare.

Alexandrovich remained free on $10,000 bail and stayed out of the country. His trial was set for March.

Ex-North Korean Propagandist is Now an ICE Protestor; Arrested for Heinous Threats

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) In the 2000s, Portland man John Paul Cupp was the leader of a pro-North Korean group with official ties to the Pyongyang government.

Some 20 years later, Cupp, who’s diagnosed with bipolar disorder, has turned up in Anti-ICE protests with other Antifa protestors in Portland. And on Tuesday, the FBI announced that Cupp, now 45, has been arrested for making heinous threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers—allegedly threatening to kill them and sexually assault their wives.

According to charging papers, Cupp was at an ICE facility on Oct. 14 when he made his threats.

“You know who I am. I’m going to have your head on a stick and mail it to your wife. And then I’m going to fuck her brains out in front of it,” Cupp yelled, according to charging documents.

Cupp, who’s also known as Walid Al Amriki, made similar threats online.

Cupp’s arraignment is set for Dec. 23.

The charging papers say the FBI has been monitoring him since at least May 2024, when four people reported him for violent social media posts. But it’s likely been a lot longer than that.

According to a 2015 article from NKNews.org, Cupp received a message from the North Korean government in 2003. At the time, he was a self-described communist and homeless 22-year-old living in Portland.

“By the time Cupp vowed his loyalty to Pyongyang and was made Chairman of the newly created Songun Politics Study Group USA, his evolving political ideology embraced white supremacy, pro Islamic Jihadists, virulent anti-Semitism, and launching domestic terrorism to achieve the armed overthrow of the U.S. government,” the NKNews article stated.

Cupp’s pro-North Korean phase saw him clash with a variety of colorful characters, including a notorious FBI informant named Joshua Caleb Sutter.

According to the NKNews article and court filings by a prison inmate named Bill White, Sutter and his girlfriend tried poisoning Cupp in a bid to take over his group. It’s not clear whether that’s true, but Sutter went on to infiltrate neo-Nazi, Satanist and other groups—being paid more than $100,000 by the FBI in the process.

Sutter couldn’t be reached for comment.

Heritage Foundation Fellow Claims Trump Admin is Falling Short on Deportation Promises

(José Niño, Headline USA)  President Donald Trump’s administration has not followed through on its immigration enforcement commitments, according to Mike Howell, a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center.

He shared his bleak assessment with the Washington Examiner during a phone interview.

The president’s failures stem from his unwillingness to execute workplace deportations and from Department of Homeland Security messaging that undermines public confidence, Howell argued.

“There are a lot of people in and around the administration who are allergic to the concept of workside enforcement because big companies, agriculture, hotels, and restaurants don’t want to have their illegal workforce raided,” Howell reportedly stated. “And if you don’t enforce workside enforcement at scale and regularly, you’re never going to get mass deportations.”

Trump promoted mass deportations throughout his campaign, something he has not accomplished, Howell maintained.

“Since the election, there’s been a substantial amount of bargaining as to what the president’s promise is. The promise was the largest deportation operation in history,” Howell said. “Over time, people on the Left, mainstream media, the left-wing of the Republican Congress, and [for-profit industries] have sought to redefine the president’s promise to be the selective deportation of illegal [immigrants].”

The administration has consistently misrepresented arrest figures and deportation totals to hide this gap between rhetoric and reality, Howell charged.

“It’s politics, right? You want to say you’re getting it done. You don’t want to be letting the president down,” Howell said. “I see a dual communication strategy; you have the awesome posting from the DHS at times, but then that’s attached to the ‘worst of the worst’ policy.”

DHS launched a messaging campaign in October highlighting arrests of dangerous unauthorized immigrants labeled the “worst” of the worst, a group that included pedophiles and murderers.

“The deportation data is there. It has the most fidelity. We know who we put on a plane or a bus, and we know who goes through the whole deportation life cycle. These things are endlessly paper and provable. There is no good reason for it not to be out. And in its place, we’re being spun statistics of service-based extrapolations, of economic data, among other things,” Howell said.

“Data that’s there that usually goes out, that now does not go out, it breeds distrust,” Howell added.

DHS may actually be reporting fewer deportations than it has carried out, Howell suggested.

“The projections used by the time the administration took office was about half a million illegals in the U.S. half. If you trust their numbers, we should be out of criminal illegal aliens soon,” he said.

The federal government should make substantial investments in deportation infrastructure rather than spending resources on Republican messaging efforts, Howell contended.

“There should be massive investments in huge facilities and investments in the entry enforcement life cycle process to make a well-oiled machine that could get people through quickly,” Howell stated, “not low-bed facilities with catchy names.”

The absence of mass deportations could damage the Republican Party going forward, Howell warned.

“I think a massive issue for the GOP right now is the satisfaction of the base. There are a lot of people who clearly voted for his campaign mandates. People want to see that 10 years into this whole project of MAGA, that if you push the vote button and it works, what you push the button for happens,” Howell stated.

“The American people need commas in the deportation numbers — a steady stream of commas to get to mass deportation levels. We need to increase many times over what is happening now,” Howell concluded.

FBI Director’s Girlfriend Calls BS on Ex-Agent Saying He was ‘Sarcastic’ about Mossad Allegations

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) In August, FBI Director Kashyap Patel’s girlfriend sued former agent Kyle Seraphin for baselessly accusing her of being an Israeli intelligence asset who’s acting as a “honeypot”—a tactic where someone sexually manipulates their target to compromise, manipulate or spy on them.

Seraphin wants the lawsuit dropped on the grounds that he was being sarcastic when he made those comments. But in a response to Seraphin’s motion to dismiss filed Tuesday, the girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, said that he clearly wasn’t joking.

“[Seraphin] began his podcast describing himself as a ‘real whistleblower’ and former FBI agent who presents the ‘uncomfortable truth’ during his podcast. The introduction to the podcast also begins with a voiceover that says, ‘this program has no time for comforting lies,'” Wilkins noted in her filing, which seeks to toss Seraphin’s motion to dismiss.

“While [Seraphin] is entitled to critique anyone, including Ms. Wilkins, he is not entitled to lie about her. There was no excuse for Defendant to accuse her of being a spy … Defendant’s motion should be denied.”

Wilkins’s lawsuit against Seraphin stems from comments he made in August, when he said that Director Patel “has had his own little ‘honeypot’ issue that’s been going on of late.”

“He’s got a girlfriend that is half his age, who is apparently is both a country music singer, a political commentator on Rumble, a friend of John Rich through [Dan] Bongino, who also now owns a big chunk of Rumble, and she’s also a former Mossad agent in what is like the equivalent of their NSA,” Seraphin said at the time, referring to Wilkins.

In her lawsuit, Wilkins, 27, blasted Seraphin over his allegations. She noted that she’s a Christian and a U.S. citizen who’s never been to Israel. She also said she’s been in a “long-term” relationship with Patel since January 2023. Seraphin didn’t mention Wilkins by name, but she said his reference to her was obvious.

Wilkins has since sued two other right-wing influencers for promoting the Israeli allegations against her—one against Elijah Schaffer and another against Sam Parker.

Wilkins’s lawsuit against Schaffer stems from a Sept. 14 tweet where a Twitter/X account explained how females from the Mossad—Israeli’s intelligence agency—have been used as “honeypots” to seduce government officials and other targets. In response to that tweet, right-wing influencer Elijah Schaffer tweeted a photo of Patel and Wilkins.

Schaffer didn’t explicitly say that Wilkins was an Israeli honeypot sent to seduce Patel. Nevertheless, his post prompted Wilkins to file a lawsuit on Oct. 28 in federal court.

The other lawsuit against Parker stems from his February 2025 post entitled “Who is Alexis Wilking—Girlfriend of Kash Patel?”

“I think it’s a fair question to ask why a young devout Christian woman pining for traditional Christian values is dating an Indian Hindu man old enough to be her father?” Parker said. “A man who swore his oath of allegiance to America on the Bhagavad Gita. Is all that ‘Old-Fashioned?’”

Wilkins seeks $5 million from all three men.

The lawsuit against Schaffer has been heavily criticized since he only tweeted out a picture. Schaffer, for his part, says he plans to fight the lawsuit vigorously, including by obtaining discovery to see if Patel is the one pushing it.

“Does Kash Patel know about this? If he doesn’t know that his girlfriend is waging million-dollar lawsuits … what kind of FBI director doesn’t know that his girlfriend is waging frivolous lawsuits against the press?” he said. “Now if he does know, this is a proxy lawsuit by Kash Patel.”

The speculation and conspiracices about Wilkins stems from her work for PragerU, which constantly pumps out pro-Israel propaganda. PragerU’s CEO, Marissa Streit served in Unit 8200—Israel’s equivalent of the NSA—and its founder, Dennis Prager, has gone on secret missions on behalf of Israel. Prager has talked about Israel sending him on a secret mission to smuggle Jewish artifacts into the Soviet Union when he was 20 years old.

However, there is no evidence that Wilkins is an intelligence agent, Mossad or otherwise.

Texas Officials Seek to Establish Turning Point Chapters

(Esther Wickham, The Center Square) Texas officials are seeking a partnership with the conservative organization Turning Point USA to place chapters on every college and high school campus in the state.

Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of TPUSA, at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, many have debated what this means for freedom of speech and religion in America.

In the days following Kirk’s death, TPUSA said it received 54,000 requests from high school and college students nationwide to start or join chapters just six days after the assassination.

That number has since increased to over 135,000 inquiries.

Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath met with Turning Point USA Senior Director Josh Thifault on Nov. 3 in Austin to discuss the initiative, according to the Texas Tribune. 

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, a Republican, announced Friday he is donating $1 million from his campaign account to place Turning Point USA chapters on every college and high school campus in the state.

“I had not planned to make a donation before the call, but the Lord put it on my heart to make a meaningful contribution to kick start the Texas project,” Patrick said in a post on X. “Texas has the size and the heart to open more chapters than any other state and more than most countries. Let’s get it done for Charlie, and for Texas.”

Meanwhile, former Oklahoma schools Superintendent Ryan Walters announced a partnership with Turning Point USA, which has its headquarters in Phoenix, to start chapters in every high school in Oklahoma.

“We will fight back against the liberal propaganda pushed by the radical left and the teachers’ unions,” said Walters. “Our fight starts now.”

Even on the federal level, the U.S. Department of Education last week announced a partnership with TPUSA and more than 40 other organizations to launch the America 250 Civics Education Coalition.

This coalition’s goal is “to ensure every young American understands the beauty of our nation and is equipped with the civic knowledge required to contribute meaningfully to its future,” Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said.

Assaults Against ICE Up 1,153% in 11 Months

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) Assaults against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are up 1,153% in 11 months, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

As ICE officers continue to arrest the most violent criminals nationwide, U.S. citizens have increasingly obstructed their efforts, including physically attacking them and threatening to kill them, according to multiple reports nationwide. The most recent death-threat-related arrests were of a Virginia high school assistant principal and his brother.

Earlier this month, DHS and the Virginia Beach Police Department launched an investigation into brothers John Wilson Bennett and Mark Booth Bennett, after an off-duty Norfolk Virginia Police Department officer overheard them discussing plans to “kill police officers and ICE agents,” DHS said.

The brothers are U.S. citizens and Virginia residents.

The officer claims he overheard Mark Bennett tell his brother that he was “planning to meet with likeminded individuals in Las Vegas to purchase firearms with explosive rounds to carry out the attacks,” DHS said.

He was arrested at the Norfolk International Airport, where he was booked on a flight and scheduled to depart to Las Vegas, DHS said. His brother, John Bennett, was arrested in Virginia Beach on the same day. John Bennett is the assistant principal of Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach. He is still employed by the school; his photo and contact information are still on the school website. He is reportedly on leave, according to local news reports.

Both were charged with a state crime of one count of conspiracy to commit malicious wounding.

“It’s chilling that a human being, much less a child educator, would plot to ambush and kill ICE law enforcement officers – offering such specifics as to getting a high caliber rifle that would pierce the law enforcements’ bullet proof vests. Thanks to Homeland Security Investigations and our partners, these men are behind bars,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. 

They weren’t behind bars for long and were released on a $25,000 bond, with GPS monitoring. They claimed they were “joking around” and the Las Vegas trip was preplanned to attend an F1 race, WAVY 10 News reported. Their next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 23.

Law enforcement took the claims seriously, as assaults against ICE officers up now by 1,153% in just 11 months.

From Jan. 21 through Nov. 21, 2025, 238 assaults were reported against ICE officers, up from 19 reported during the same time-period last year, DHS said.

That’s an increase of 1,153%.

At the same time, the number of death threats made against ICE officers have increased by 8,000%, The Center Square reported.

ICE and U.S. Custom and Border Protection and Border Patrol officers have also experienced a surge of targeted vehicular attacks. Vehicular attacks against CBP and Border Patrol agents are up 58%; attacks against ICE officers are up by 1,300%, The Center Square reported.

DHS blames Democrats for increased violence and threats of violence.

“After months of Democrat politicians comparing ICE to Nazis, the gestapo, slave patrols, and even encouraging illegal aliens to resist arrest, our brave ICE law enforcement have been assaulted 238 times,” McLaughlin said. “Our law enforcement officers have had Molotov cocktails and rocks thrown at them, been shot at, had cars used as weapons against them, and been physically assaulted. Sanctuary politicians need to tone the rhetoric down before a law enforcement officer is killed. They should be thanking these brave law enforcement officers who risk their lives every single day to arrest pedophiles, rapists, murderers, gang members, and terrorists from our neighborhoods.”

Examples of assaults include hitting, spitting, kicking, biting, attempted strangulation, drive by shootings and cartel bounties, The Center Square reported.

Despite these threats, ICE officers are prioritizing arresting violent criminals, including those with removal orders from federal immigration judges. The overwhelming majority being arrested, 70%, have criminal convictions or pending charges, ICE says. The 70% figure excludes those wanted for violent crimes in other countries, including those with INTERPOL notices and human rights violators, among others, ICE says.

ICE is encouraging Americans to report suspicious criminal activity, threats against ICE officers and their family members, as well as doxxing, by calling 866-DHS-2-ICE or submitting a tip online.

(Jim Talamonti, The Center Square) President Donald Trump has revived his criticism of Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker over crime, and Pritzker has fired back by blasting Trump over Thanksgiving dinner prices.

The president spoke at the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Pardoning outside the White House Tuesday. Referring to Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson as well as the governor, Trump said crime in Chicago is out of control.

“The mayor is incompetent and the governor is a big, fat slob. He ought to invite us in, say, ‘Please make Chicago safe,’” Trump said.

Trump said Pritzker is not letting the federal government do the job.

“Some speechwriter wrote some joke about his weight, but I would never want to talk about his weight. I don’t talk about people being fat. I refuse to talk about the fact that he’s a fat slob. I don’t mention it,” Trump said.

The president then added that he would like to lose a few pounds himself.

Less than hour later, Pritzker’s gubernatorial campaign released a statement saying the president was ruining Thanksgiving dinners with soaring prices.

“Instead of focusing on quality time together, families are being forced to worry about rising costs, driven by the Trump administration’s nonsensical tariffs and damaging economic policies. This means families across the country are being forced to decide what they can and can’t afford to put on the table this Thanksgiving, just to make ends meet,” the statement said.

Pritzker claimed that Thanksgiving costs are up nearly 10% this year and cited a report by Groundwork Collaborative.

According to the group’s website, “Groundwork uses storytelling and strategic communications to reframe economic debates and drive a more inclusive narrative about the economy.”

The American Farm Bureau Federation’s 40th annual Thanksgiving dinner survey does not support Groundwork’s claims.

The AFBA said the average cost of a classic holiday meal for 10 people decreased to $55.18, a 5% drop from 2024. The Illinois Farm Bureau found that the average price of the holiday meal for 10 in Illinois is $49.20.

During his speech Tuesday, Trump called out “liberal judges” after a man with more than 70 previous arrests was charged with setting a Chicago train passenger on fire Nov. 17.

A suspect with a long criminal history allegedly left the victim critically injured by setting her on fire aboard a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train.

“They burned this beautiful woman riding in a train. A man was arrested 72 times. 72 times, think of that, and they’ll let him out again. The liberal judges will let him out again,” Trump said.

The White House later issued a statement titled, “72 Arrests Wasn’t Enough — Democrats Let Him Burn Her Alive.”

The statement said the CTA fire suspect had eight felony convictions in addition to 72 arrests.

“This animal was walking free because of the radical, dangerous ‘no cash bail’ law proudly signed by Gov. J.B. Report: FBI Director Kashyap Patel Was a Social Justice Warrior w/ a ‘Fraudulent’ Academic Resume

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) FBI Director Kashyap Patel, who has positioned himself as one of President Donald Trump’s most trusted officials, was a social justice warrior in school who embraced the MAGA movement to get rich and advance his own career, according to a recent profile in the New Yorker.

“He had no real politics of his own,” former National Security Council Deputy Secretary Charlie Kupperman reportedly said of Patel. “He’s always cultivated people that can help him get into the limelight, and Trump has supported him at every turn because he’s one-hundred-per-cent sycophant.”

Kupperman may have an axe to grind with Patel, who included him in his “government gangsters” list in his 2023 memoir. However, others, including his friend, Kushagra Katariya, made similar remarks. Katariya, a cardiothoracic surgeon who befriended Patel in Miami, reportedly said his passions were “hockey and exploring ways to get rich.”

Insofar that Patel had politics when he was younger, they seem to be left-leaning. His high school yearbook quote is from Jewish theologian Abraham Joshua Heschel, who said that “racism is man’s gravest threat to man—maximum of hatred for a minimum reason,” according to the New Yorker.

“He also signed on to an amicus brief supporting the consideration of race in law-school admissions and participated in the Judicial Intern Opportunity Program, a diversity effort aimed at ‘members of groups that are traditionally underrepresented in the profession, including students from minority racial and ethnic groups,’” the New Yorker added.

Additionally, Patel’s bio on the FBI’s website is highly misleading, according to the New Yorker. His bio says he “returned to New York to earn his juris doctor and earned a certificate in international law from University College London Faculty of Laws in the United Kingdom.” But while he earned a certificate from that London school, his law degree is from Pace University.

Patel’s former Pace law professor called the bio “fraudulent,” while a bureau spokesman said he stands by what the bio says.

Patel’s turn from ordinary lawyer to flamboyant activist seems to have come after a U.S. district judge blasted him for wearing an “ill-fitting jacket, wrinkled khakis, and boat shoes” to court. The judge kicked him out of the proceedings, and the incident was leaked to the Washington Post soon thereafter.

“In the years that followed, Patel would lash out at the D.O.J. for refusing to ‘stand up for me after being attacked by the unstable judge in Houston,’” the New Yorker reported. “He also began to malign news organizations that ‘will do anything to stop you.’”

Since then, his career has skyrocketed—although many in the MAGA movement have soured on him for flip-flopping on numerous issues.

Before his appointment, Patel reversed his position on Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Patel previously expressed support for implementing warrant requirements for FISA 702, but he abandoned that position during his confirmation hearings—meaning he supports warrantless surveillance of Americans.

Patel also said that he’d shut down its headquarters and turn it into a “museum for the deep state.” Additionally, he’s yet to live up to promises such as that he’d release all the FBI’s files on notorious sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

More recently, he’s been taking heat for galivanting around the country in the FBI jet, and for assigning agents to guard his girlfriend, who doesn’t live with him.

The New Yorker ended its profile by noting that he hasn’t lived up to his promise to arrest MAGA’s enemies, either.

“Nearly a year into the President’s second term, users on X, Facebook, and Truth Social have been diligently cataloguing the anti-maga forces that have yet to be brought to justice,” the New Yorker reported.

“One meme tallied the ‘Number of Arrests’ stemming from crimes Patel had promised to solve, including the ‘Russian Collusion Hoax’; the 2020 election; January 6th; the covid-19 lab leak; the ‘Mar-a-Lago Raid’; and ‘Epstein Pedophile Arrests.’ The final count on each, at least so far, is zero.”
