GOP Rep. Defends Damning Impeachment of Biden, Cites Pelosi Precedent

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In a bold departure from party orthodoxy, Republican Rep. Greg Stuebe, Fla., defended his articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden, citing the damning evidence showing the alleged corruption surrounding the president.

Speaking in an interview with conservative commentator Mark Levin, Stuebe outlined the basis for his urgent call for impeachment proceedings against the embattled president.

While cautioning against hastily pursuing impeachment proceedings, Stuebe has broken ranks by introducing the impeachment articles, emphasizing a litany of allegations including bribery, extortion, obstruction of justice, fraud, and involvement in illicit activities.

“You’ve had enough of the Biden crime family, particularly since Nancy Pelosi, has lowered the bar for impeachment. Impeachment for Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats was anytime they disagree with you,” Levin stated during the interview.

Echoing Levin and reflecting on past events, Stuebe remarked, “They impeached Trump for a phone call to a foreign leader… Republicans don’t work and just operate that way. We want to do the investigation, get the information.” The Representative then pointed to the information gathered by various House committees, some of which he serves on, as evidence of the alleged wrongdoing.

Citing recent revelations, Stuebe cited allegations that have been linked to the Biden family. “All these corruption, extortion, bribery—all the things that through the investigations that multiple House committees have put together. I think it’s important that the American people see that we’re working for them and they’re seeing all these facts and evidence.”

Stuebe went on to emphasize the allegations of financial involvement with foreign entities, including Russian oligarchs, Chinese Communist Party members, and Ukrainian interests, totaling a staggering $20 million.

“The Biden family has gotten from foreign entities – Ukraine, now Russian oligarch, all these different Chinese Communist Party,” the representative asserted. “These are crimes that have been committed.”

“We now have testimony from witnesses, we have financial records, we have individuals who were business partners that just recently last week, Devin Archer, testified about his involvement in all of these,” he stated, referring to damning evidence detailed by the House Oversight Committee.

It is unclear whether House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will support Stuebe’s impeachment.

‘I Make Love to Men Daily’: NY Post Confirms Obama’s Letter to Ex-Partner

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former President Barack Obama’s private musings have come to light through a recently surfaced letter, written in 1982, in which he allegedly admitted to making “love” to men, reported the New York Post on Saturday.

The redacted portion of the letter, confirmed by the Post, reveals insights into the young Obama’s mind and how he grappled with notions of identity and desire.

The report by Jon Levine, a journalist with the Post, unveils the contents of the decades-old letter. According to Levine’s article, “Former President Barack Obama wrote of his own ‘androgynous’ mind and ‘mak[ing] love to men daily, but in the imagination,’ according to the redacted portion of a now-notorious 1982 letter, obtained by The Post.”

The letter, written when Obama was 21 years old, was addressed to his ex-girlfriend Alex McNear. In the letter, Obama explores his thoughts on homosexuality.

The quoted passage from the letter reads, “In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life. You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination.”

Obama further delves into the alleged complexities of his identity and sexuality. “My mind is androgynous to a great extent and I hope to make it more so until I can think in terms of people, not women as opposed to men. But, in returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency,” he added.

The letter first resurfaced after the announcement of the book Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama written by Obama biographer David Garrow. In the book, Garrow reportedly included the redacted portions of the letter.

According to the Post, the infamous letter is housed by Emory University, which has prohibited journalists from moving or photographing it.

Garrow defended the inclusion of the letter in his book, telling the Post, “I’m a historian, not a psychologist, but I think it’s ‘public record’ news that a (vast?) majority of human beings have sexual fantasies!”

‘I’d Kick the Sh*t Out’: Ex-Senator Reveals Clash Over Biden’s Sexual Harassment

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In a startling revelation, former U.S. Senator Scott Brown, R-Mass., recently shared a compelling account of a fiery confrontation he had with then-Vice President Joe Biden more than a decade ago

Brown’s recollection came during an episode of the Burn Barrel Podcast, where he discussed his reaction to an incident involving Biden and his wife, Gail Huff Brown.

Brown vividly recalled the disturbing incident, stating, “I told him I’d kick the sh-t out of – beat the – I told him to stop.”

The incident in question occurred in 2010 during the Senate swearing-in ceremony, where Biden posed for photos alongside Sen. Brown and his wife. Video footage from the event captured Biden’s right hand positioned awkwardly near Gail’s back, igniting Senator Brown’s strong reaction.

In his podcast appearance, Brown expressed his negative reaction to Biden’s actions, stating, “He didn’t act the way I thought he should.” While he refrained from further elaboration, citing the incident as “old news,” his account sheds light on a past encounter that has remained relatively unknown until now.

Biden has been accused by several individuals of sexual harassment. Notably, Tara Reade, a former Senate staffer who worked under then-Sen. Biden in 1993, accused him of sexual assault

As reported by the New York Times, 7 other women came forward to accuse Biden of inappropriate kissing, hugging and touching them.

Although Biden denied those allegations — which were first brought to light in 2020 — he addressed his reputation of being handsy with women in an infamous 2019 video. Biden acknowledged instances of inappropriate touching while attributing it to evolving social norms.

In the video, Biden said: “I want to talk about gestures of support that I’ve made to women and some men that have made them uncomfortable,” Biden said, before claiming inappropriate touching was the way he communicated.

Specifically, Biden claimed, “I’ve always tried to make a human connection. That’s my responsibility, I think… It’s the way I’ve always been. It’s the way I try to show I care about them and listening.”

Water Left Out for Illegals Disappears in Texas

(Headline USA) Authorities and activists in South Texas found themselves embroiled in a mystery.

Barrels of water that a pro-illegal immigration group had left for illegals traveling on foot had vanished.

Usually, they are hard to miss. Labeled with the word “AGUA” painted in white, capital letters and standing about waist-high, the 55-gallon, blue drums stand out against the scrub and grass, turned from green to a sundried brown.

Illegals use the route activists placed water on to try to circumvent a Border Patrol checkpoint on a busier highway about 30 miles to the east.

Pro-illegal immigration groups started setting the drums up on the U.S. side of the border with Mexico in the 1990s after authorities began finding bodies of those who succumbed to the harsh conditions.

John Meza volunteers with one such group in South Texas. He restocks the stations with gallon jugs of water, trims away overgrown grass, and ensures the GPS coordinates are still visible on the underside of the barrel lids.

On one of his rounds in July, Meza said, 12 of the 21 stations he maintains were no longer there.

The Associated Press compared images captured by Google Maps over the last two years and confirmed that some barrels that were once there were gone.

But to where?

In other states along the southern border, missing water stations have been ascribed to citizens not wanting to be overrun by illegal immigrants.

POTUS to Control More Military Police in D.C.

(Headline USA) The Pentagon is developing plans to restructure the National Guard in Washington, D.C., in a move to address problems highlighted by the response to the J6 protests.

The changes under discussion would transfer the District of Columbia’s aviation units, and exchange, the district would get more military police, which is often the city’s most significant need, as it grapples with crowd control and large public events.

Several current and former officials familiar with the talks spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. They said no final decisions have been made.

A key sticking point is who would be in control of the D.C. Guard — a politically divisive question that gets to the heart of what has been an ongoing, turbulent issue.

Across the country, governors control their National Guard units and can make decisions on deploying them to local disasters and other needs. But D.C. is not a state, so the president is in charge but gives that authority to the defense secretary, who generally delegates it to the Army secretary.

According to officials, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is weighing two options: maintaining the current system or handing control to U.S. Northern Command, which is in charge of homeland defense.

Senior officials have argued in favor of Northern Command, which would take control out of the hands of political appointees in Washington who may be at odds with the D.C. government, and giving it to nonpartisan military commanders who already oversee homeland defense. Others, however, believe the decision-making should remain at the Pentagon, mirroring the civilian control that governors have on their troops.

The overall goal, officials said, is to reform the guard and ensure it has the units, equipment and training to do the missions it routinely faces.

Within the Pentagon, however, there are broader concerns that D.C. is too quick to seek National Guard troops to augment law enforcement shortfalls in the city that should be handled by police.

The restructuring is an effort to smooth out the process and avoid communications problems if another crisis erupts.

AI Can Steal Your Password by Listening to Your Typing

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Recent research discovered that artificial intelligence could be advanced enough to steal the passwords of people by listening to the sound of them typing over Zoom and other recording devices.

Academics from Durham, Surrey and Royal Holloway universities realized that microphones can detect typing patterns, which automatically means that any person who is using a laptop in public could have one’s typing recorded and decoded, the Daily Mail reported.

Researchers trained an AI model by pressing the 36 keys on a MacBook Pro 25 times while recording the sound. After that, they “fed” the sounds into the AI which was able to correctly identify the pattern of each key.

To be able to prove their theory, the researchers placed an iPhone 6.7 inches away from the same MacBook Pro to record someone typing and the AI was able to deduce the content of the typing with 95% accuracy.

The researchers also tested Zoom in the same way and the AI was able to record the keystrokes with an accuracy of 93%.

“Each key has a unique audio, or voice, that can be fingerprinted to infer what is being pressed,” Dr. Ehsan Toreini, a researcher from the Surrey University’s Centre for Cyber Security, said.

Some years ago, academics performed a similar study on an Enigma machine. The researchers of that study realized that if it had been possible to implant a microphone, a similar outcome could have been achieved, even though the accuracy would be significantly lower — only 70%.

“It gives you a hint of the tremendous improvement that has happened in the past five years in terms of the accuracy of the models, which somehow elevated the accuracy from 70-ish percent to around perfect results,” Toreini said.

He then added that Apple should consider adding random noises into keystrokes to ward off “side channel” attacks. Additionally, Toreini suggested that technology such as Zoom should compress audio to make it harder for AI to steal your private information.

Republicans File Articles of Impeachment Against Biden

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square)   U.S. Rep. Greg Steube, R-Florida, filed four articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on Friday.

“It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden,” Steube said in a statement announcing the articles. “He has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America’s citizens. The evidence continues to mount by the day – the Biden Crime Family has personally profited off Joe’s government positions through bribery, threats, and fraud. Joe Biden must not be allowed to continue to sit in the White House, selling out our country.”

Steube, an ally of former President and current GOP frontrunner for president Donald Trump, filed the articles of impeachment after U.S. House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., released financial documents he claims support allegations that the president’s family and associates, including the president’s son Hunter Biden, received more than $20 million in payments from foreign entities.

President Biden has repeatedly dismissed claims that he benefited from overseas dealings with his son, and said he does not talk  with his son about personal business.

Articles 1 claims that Hunter and James Biden, the president’s brother, “sold access to then Vice President” Joe Biden “while he was in office from 2009 to 2017 and sold promised access to a future Biden Presidential Administration while he was out of office from 2017 to 2021.” The access, according the article, were “in return for payments and business opportunities from foreign and domestic business partners.”

Article 1 continues: “Hunter Biden attempted to enrich himself and the Biden family by threatening official actions from his father, who he claims was willing to assist in the scheme.”

Citing testimony from IRS whistleblowers, Article 2 alleges that “members of the Biden campaign improperly colluded with Justice Department (DOJ) officials to improperly interfere with investigations into tax crimes alleged to have been committed by Hunter Biden.”

Article 3 accuses James Biden of promising access to his brother to recruit “investors” for business opportunities “based on false and fraudulent pretenses and promises.”

Article 4 accuses the Bidens of using family money “on illegal drug transactions and prostitution.”

Steube filed the articles on the same day U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden.

In May, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, R-Georgia, filed articles of impeachment against the president and in June, the House voted to delay impeaching Biden by a vote of 219 to 208.

48% of Iowa Republicans Would Want Trump to Campaign from Jail

(Brett Rowland, The Center Square) A new poll found that 48% of Republicans in Iowa said former President Donald Trump should continue to campaign if sentenced to prison while 39% said he should drop out.

Trump, 77, faces 78 felony charges in three separate legal cases, two of which were filed by special counsel Jack Smith in federal court.

J.L. Partners surveyed 600 Republicans in Iowa on behalf of The Daily Mail, a British news operation. The outlet reported the poll numbers Friday.

As The Center Square previously reported, while the three trials could complicate his campaign, not even convictions would disqualify Trump from the office he seeks.

Richard Hasen, professor of law and political science at the University of California, Los Angeles, previously told The Center Square that the U.S. Constitution does not prohibit felons from serving as president.

Hasen noted that some seek to disqualify Trump from running or serving arguing he is ineligible under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. That section disqualifies any sworn officeholder who has “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the United States. “But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability,” according to the U.S. Constitution.

If Trump wins the 2024 election and attempts to pardon himself, it would likely be challenged in the courts. Trump could not pardon himself from any state charges, Hasen said.

Federal acquittals are rare. In fiscal year 2022, 290 of 71,954 defendants in federal criminal cases, about 0.4%, went to trial and were acquitted, according to a Pew Research Center analysis.

Judge in Trump J6 Trial Worked at Law Firm that Repped Russia Hoax’s Fusion GPS, Tied to Hillary’s Emails

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, who is overseeing the Trump J6 trial being prosecuted by the Biden Justice Department, previously worked at a law firm that represented Fusion GPS, the company that helped orchestrate the Russia collusion hoax targeting former President Donald Trump.

During Chutkan’s stint with Boies Schiller Flexner, the Democrat-friendly law firm also reportedly represented Clinton Cabal foot soldier Huma Abedin, the former wife of disgraced Democrat Anthony Weiner.

The stunning revelations came in the wake of reports that the Obama-appointed judge worked at the same Boies Schiller Flexner law firm with President Joe Biden’s embattled son, Hunter. The same law firm that employed Chutkan also reportedly represented Burisma.

Trump blasted the apparently gross conflicts of interest and bias saddling Chutkan, writing on Truth Social that, “The Obama appointed Judge in  the FREE SPEECH Indictment of me by my political opponent, Crooked Joe Biden’s Department of InJustice, shared professional ties at the law firm that worked for Energy Company Burisma, based in Ukraine, of which Hunter Biden and his associate were “proud” MEMBERS OF THE BOARD, and were paid Millions of Dollars, even though Hunter knew almost NOTHING about Energy. How much was the law firm paid? So Horrible. This is a CLASSIC Conflict of Interest!”

The J6 free speech trial won’t be the first time Chutkan has been entangled by court conflicts stemming from her legal workings with outfits targeting Trump.

Chutkan was forced to recuse herself from the bench when she was overseeing Fusion GPS’s attempt to block former congressman Devin Nunes and Kash Patel from outing the source of payments that funded the infamous Steele dossier.

“Fusion GPS, the DNC, and the Hillary Clinton campaign paid Christopher Steele millions of dollars and they laundered it through the FBI and the FISA court to unlawfully surveil Donald Trump. That’s big-time stuff,” Patel, who served in the Trump administration, noted during an interview with America First’s Sebastian Gorka.

After months of litigation before Chutkan, when it became apparent that Nunes and Patel would be successful, “she recused -on her own- from that case. Why?” Patel asked rhetorically.

“We found out her law firm, Boies Schiller, represented Fusion GPS,” Patel answered. “The very client that was in front of her in federal court was one of her former clients. That is rule #1 for disqualification.”

It also sets a sterling precedent for Chutkan’s removal from the Trump J6 trial, Patel said.

“She set the precedent. She cannot neutrally and arbitrarily preside over Donald Trump’s criminal trial when she recused herself from the very representation of the Democratic entrenchment: the DNC, the Hillary Clinton campaign, Fusion GPS, because she was so biased because of her prior representation from Boies Schiller,” he argued.

Biden Humiliatingly Less Popular in U.S. than Prince William: Poll

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A recent Gallup Poll conducted between July 3 and July 27 has revealed a significant drop in President Joe Biden’s favorability rating, coinciding with the release of bombshell revelations tied to his son, Hunter Biden.

The poll indicated that Biden’s favorability rating has now equaled that of former President Donald Trump, both at 41%. This marks a stark contrast from the nearly 60% approval rating Biden enjoyed at the beginning of his tumultuous presidency.

One of the most noteworthy findings from the poll is that Biden’s favorability lags behind that of Prince William of England, who garnered a 59% favorable rating among Americans.

Gallup attributed Biden’s substantial decline in favorability to his contentious foreign policy decisions and his handling of domestic policy matters.

In the past week, Biden faced scathing criticism from Gold Star parents who directly held him and other federal officials responsible for the untimely deaths of 13 U.S. servicemen during the chaotic withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. Similarly, Biden has been embroiled in scandal following scorching allegations of a bribery scheme and the politization of the DOJ against his opponents.

The low approval ratings were not confined to Biden. Vice President Kamala Harris and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries received favorable ratings of 38% and 31%, respectively. This wouldn’t mark the first time Harris faced low approval numbers. According to a NBC News poll, the vice president enjoyed the highest net negative approval ratings in the history of the poll.

Even Attorney General Merrick Garland had the lowest favorability rating among Democrats, with 31%. The poll also coincided with the news that Garland tapped a special counsel to investigate potential criminal violations of Hunter Biden. Countless Republican leaders in the U.S. Congress took to Twitter on Friday to accuse Garland of plotting a cover-up scheme by announcing the special counsel, which will in turn refuse to answer questions from Republican lawmakers.

Gallup noted that the indictments of Trump led by the Biden administration have sparked a surge in favorability for the former president. Trump now enjoys the highest favorability rating since his departure from the White House in January 2021, standing at 41%. Gallup underscores, “This increase from 37% last November, the most recent Gallup rating prior to this, encompasses all indictments issued against the former president up to the present.”

Notably, the poll also highlighted the popularity of other international figures. The Gallup poll identifies Prince William of England as an emerging “politically unifying” figure, boasting an approval rating of 59%. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy closely follows with a favorability score of 57%.

Gallup conducted interviews with 1,015 adults for the poll, all of whom were over the age of 18 and residing in the United States.
