Biden Humiliatingly Less Popular in U.S. than Prince William: Poll

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) A recent Gallup Poll conducted between July 3 and July 27 has revealed a significant drop in President Joe Biden’s favorability rating, coinciding with the release of bombshell revelations tied to his son, Hunter Biden.

The poll indicated that Biden’s favorability rating has now equaled that of former President Donald Trump, both at 41%. This marks a stark contrast from the nearly 60% approval rating Biden enjoyed at the beginning of his tumultuous presidency.

One of the most noteworthy findings from the poll is that Biden’s favorability lags behind that of Prince William of England, who garnered a 59% favorable rating among Americans.

Gallup attributed Biden’s substantial decline in favorability to his contentious foreign policy decisions and his handling of domestic policy matters.

In the past week, Biden faced scathing criticism from Gold Star parents who directly held him and other federal officials responsible for the untimely deaths of 13 U.S. servicemen during the chaotic withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. Similarly, Biden has been embroiled in scandal following scorching allegations of a bribery scheme and the politization of the DOJ against his opponents.

The low approval ratings were not confined to Biden. Vice President Kamala Harris and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries received favorable ratings of 38% and 31%, respectively. This wouldn’t mark the first time Harris faced low approval numbers. According to a NBC News poll, the vice president enjoyed the highest net negative approval ratings in the history of the poll.

Even Attorney General Merrick Garland had the lowest favorability rating among Democrats, with 31%. The poll also coincided with the news that Garland tapped a special counsel to investigate potential criminal violations of Hunter Biden. Countless Republican leaders in the U.S. Congress took to Twitter on Friday to accuse Garland of plotting a cover-up scheme by announcing the special counsel, which will in turn refuse to answer questions from Republican lawmakers.

Gallup noted that the indictments of Trump led by the Biden administration have sparked a surge in favorability for the former president. Trump now enjoys the highest favorability rating since his departure from the White House in January 2021, standing at 41%. Gallup underscores, “This increase from 37% last November, the most recent Gallup rating prior to this, encompasses all indictments issued against the former president up to the present.”

Notably, the poll also highlighted the popularity of other international figures. The Gallup poll identifies Prince William of England as an emerging “politically unifying” figure, boasting an approval rating of 59%. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy closely follows with a favorability score of 57%.

Gallup conducted interviews with 1,015 adults for the poll, all of whom were over the age of 18 and residing in the United States.
