‘Despicable Ghoul’: Maui Greets Biden Visit and Renewed Insults w/ Jeers and Boos

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) After weeks of what was roundly ridiculed as a wholly offensive response to the deadly wildfires that destroyed Maui, President Joe Biden finally took a quick break from his perpetual vacationing to pay the island a passing visit and drop more insults.

While professing his administration’s support for survivors of the disaster that has already claimed at least 115 lives with upwards of 800 resident unaccounted for, Biden was torched for immediately making himself the focus of the tragedy.

“Biden brings up the death of his first wife and daughter in 1972 while speaking in Maui, where at least 850 people are still missing, and more than 100 have perished,” tweeted White House blacklisted correspondent Simon Ateba.

In his rush to empathize with Maui residents who have had their lives devastated and homes destroyed, Biden stretched a tall-tale into record fabulist proportions. “I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette and my cat,” Biden claimed as he related his version of an electrical fire at his house.

“Joe Biden can relate to everyone who lost their homes in Maui because there was a small fire in his kitchen that was under control in 20 minutes,” tweeted conservative commentator Benny Johnson.

Biden fared no better when he was trying to relate to Maui’s first responders, at one point cracking a tone-deaf quip about a rescue dog’s footwear. “You guys catch the boots out here? That’s a hot ground, man,” he guffawed.

Given the callous commiserator-in-chief’s overall ugly response to Maui residents and their continued plight, the greeting Biden received for his visit was appropriately predictable.

“As Joe Biden finally arrives in Maui, he’s met by OUTRAGED locals holding signs that read: ‘You’re too late!’ and ‘Actions speak louder than words,'” Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk relayed. “Just brutal.”

Residents lined the streets to lob equal parts profanities and  pleas for help, as Biden’s motorcade zipped the president and First Lady off to catch Air Force One and resume his luxury retreat in Lake Tahoe.

“Biden does a hit-and-run visit to the site of the catastrophic Maui fire,” tweeted conservative podcaster Monica Crowley. “He’s a despicable ghoul.”

Bidenomics Triggers Panic Attack as Back-to-School Prices Soar

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s eponymous economic policy has claimed another victim, with the backlash from Bidenomics driving back-to-school prices to a record high.

In at least one case, the skyrocketing costs of school supplies triggered a medical scare. “Before I even went shopping, I will tell you, I had a full-on panic attack and cried,” Lauren Cyr, a mother of three school-aged kids, told CNBC.

The same crush has been felt by consumers across the country who were forecast to spend a record-high $41.5 billion this year for back-to-school essentials, according to a recent survey from the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. The 12% jump, about $4.6 billion, topped Biden’s previous record-high set in 2021.

NRF reported that, “Families with children in elementary through high school plan to spend an average of $890.07 on back-to-school items this year, approximately $25 more than last year’s record of $864.35 and a new high.”

The forecasts have turned into consumer nightmares that have sent families and teachers scrambling for supplies on a budget.

A staggering majority of seven in 10 consumers said higher prices were forcing them to shop at discount stores, and 45% of “shoppers are looking to purchase items when they’re on sale due to higher prices and inflation, while 38% plan to buy from brands that are generally cheaper,” the International Council of Shopping Centers 2023 back-to-school survey showed.

The price of classroom essentials hasn’t made it easy, according to a Pattern analysis that highlighted hikes from last year:

  • Graph Paper – 18%
  • Mechanical Pencils – 16%
  • Folders – 13%
  • Highlighters – 13%
  • Index Cards – 12%
  • Crayons – 12%
  • Composition Books – 9%
  • Rulers – 8%
  • Scientific Calculators – 6%

“We’re seeing 34% over two years in school supplies inflation and 18% in just the last year for prices,” a financial analyst from a New York firm told a CBS affiliate.

“Families spend about $800 on getting kids back to school, so it’s hard for families currently. We have an employee here that just spent $300 and that’s just on one kid back to school.”

The repercussions from Bidenomics are equally harsh for college students and their families, who according to the NRF “are expected to spend an average of $1,366.95 per person, up from $1,199.43 last year, and a new record from the previous record of $1,200.32 in 2021. Since 2019, back-to-college spending has nearly doubled.”

In the acute assessment of the panic attack-stricken mother of three from Florida, “It’s just a headache.”

Deep State Plan for Facial-Scan Biometric IDs Takes Root in Calif.

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In what has been condemned as a precursor to a dystopian future that includes government regimes digitally tracking and controlling the masses, California officials are actively pushing a new digital ID scheme that has triggered alarms for privacy advocates.

Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration announced that the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles is aggressively expanding its pilot program for a digital wallet smartphone app. The latest offering includes a digital driver’s license, dubbed a “mDL,” or mobile driver’s license, and an age-verification ID.

While DMV bureaucrats assured program enrollees that their “usage is not tracked, and no data leaves your device without your consent,” critics noted an important caveat.

Popular tech site Reclaim The Net warned that “Despite being pitched as a technological advancement, the pilot program, which is now open to 1.5 million participants, has its drawbacks. To obtain this digital ID, users must download the ‘CA DMV Wallet’ app.”

Because the new options don’t interface with “decentralized wallet systems,” users “are forced to trust their sensitive information to a singular, state-run app,” the tech outlet reported.

“California rolls out face-scanning digital ID to replace Driver’s Licenses. What could go wrong?” cracked one X commentator.

And while the DMV has assured “that the app ‘does not permanently store your personal data,” Reclaim The Net noted that the government agency “still retains your phone number and an ‘encrypted photo of your DL/ID card.’”

California’s move into biometric mDLs followed in the footsteps of states like Arizona, Louisiana and Colorado, and is being used as a model for states like Iowa and Michigan, according to Biometric Update.

The trend poses a troubling trajectory for privacy advocates concerned about government intrusion and overreach, despite assurances and claims of best intentions.

“Better protections on information and its uses can only go so far,” Matthew Guariglia, a policy analyst at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, wrote in an essay about the military’s expansion of biometrics and its creep into civilian life.

“In many instances, the only way to ensure that people are not made vulnerable by the misuse of private information is to limit, wherever possible, how much of it is collected in the first place.”

House GOP Subpoena FBI Officials Who Reportedly Ran Cover for Biden Bribery

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The House Judiciary and Ways and Means committees issued subpoenas on Monday, seeking key IRS and Justice Department officials to testify in relation to mounting allegations of political interference in the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden, the embattled son of President Joe Biden.

According to the Republican-led committees, the focus of these interviews is to uncover details surrounding a meeting that took place on Oct. 7, 2022, where now-Special Counsel David Weiss reportedly claimed he was prevented from bringing charges against Hunter for alleged tax crimes.

The subpoenas were issued after repeated refusals by the DOJ and the IRS to comply with earlier requests for voluntary transcribed interviews with the individuals in question.

“Our Committees have sought these interviews since IRS whistleblowers came forward with concerning allegations of political interference in the investigation into Hunter Biden’s foreign influence peddling and tax evasion,” Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith, Mo., and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, Ohio, jointly stated on Monday.

They further added, “Our subpoenas are crucial to understanding how the president’s son received special treatment from federal prosecutors and who ultimately decided the course of the case.”

Sworn testimony from an IRS whistleblower alleged that Weis, as U.S. attorney for Delaware, affirmed during the infamous October 2022 meeting that he was barred from filing harsh charges against Biden’s son.

Contrary to this, Attorney General Merrick Garland had previously testified that Weiss had full authority to pursue charges. Similarly, Weiss echoed Garland’s remarks in subsequent statements to House Republicans but requested special counsel status just last week.

Weiss’s request to be promoted to special counsel, a move that gives him authority to file charges outside Delaware, led to doubts about the accuracy of both the attorney general’s and Weiss’s previous statements to Congress, the Republican leaders added.

According to the press release, the subpoenas were directed to individuals with reported high roles in the investigation, including Michael T. Batdorf, IRS director of field operations; Darrell J. Waldon, IRS special agent in charge; Thomas J. Sobocinski, FBI special agent in charge; and Ryeshia Holley, FBI assistant special agent in charge.

N.Y. AG Letitia James Endorses LGBT Grooming in Public Schools

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) New York’s attorney general and the state’s commissioner of education effectively announced the Democrat-run enclave’s capitulation to leftists’ demands to infiltrate public schools with their radical LGBT agendas and grooming materials.

The Democrat duo released a statement this month declaring schools are legally barred from banning “lewdness.”

AG Letitia James and Schools Commissioner Betty Rosa claimed that banning inappropriate content from classrooms of any age “systemically remove[s] diverse perspectives from the classroom” and violated the New York State Human Rights Law, according to Breitbart.

The statement cautioned schools against “prohibiting discussions related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, nonbinary and gender expansive people, or diverse family structures and identities using a pretext of inappropriateness or obscenity.”

Though not made explicit, school administrators would not be able to remove pornographic material, such as the book Gender Queer, from state or federally sanctioned curricula.

The statement went to great lengths to protect the gay agenda in schools, explaining that banning support groups, discussions related to nontraditional family structures and even requiring purportedly “gender expansive” students to present identification was harmful.

The guidance also could be interpreted as mandates that even kids in kindergarten and preschool be exposed to sexually explicit material, critics argued.

“They are saying the quiet part out loud,” noted X’s Right Side of History, which ripped the guidance as “a war on parents’ ability to safeguard their children” and “a war for children’s minds.”

The Soros-backed AG wasn’t just “threatening legal action if you take obscene materials out of the curriculum,” the tweet noted she was also threatening schools for not including the LGBT obscenities in the curriculum.

The New York Democrat lawmakers also dismissed concerns of young girls that they be required to share changing rooms with allegedly transgender boys.

The legislators prohibited “barring a gender expansive student from a single-gender extracurricular program out of concern that they will make other students uncomfortable.”

The statement concluded with a threat of action against discriminatory actions.

“If teachers or other school staff know of discrimination in their school or school district based on a protected class, they may report such discrimination to their supervisor or to agencies charged with remedying that discrimination,” the statement read. “Reporters may receive protection from retaliation based on applicable law.”

Though not explicitly stated in the statement, critics contend that transgenderism seemed to achieve protected class status, despite the lack of need for doctor’s certification.

Hollywood Paves Way for New COVID Mask Mandates, Lockdowns

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Lionsgate movie studio installed a new masking mandate for the employees at their flagship office in Santa Monica, California, after several employees reported positive COVID tests.

Lionsgate/Starz Response Manager Sommer McElroy said employees working on the third and fifth floors of the five-story office building required medical-grade face masks for admission.

“Employees must wear a medical grade face covering (surgical mask, KN95 or N95) when indoors except when alone in an office with the door closed, actively eating, actively drinking at their desk or workstation, or if they are the only individual present in a large open workspace,” the internal memo stated.

The memo also detailed the now-required self-screenings and at-home tests, according to the Post Millennial.

Employees with symptoms, or those who recently traveled internationally, must stay home.

Other institutions across the country are also reintroducing anti-COVID measures.

Morris Brown College in Atlanta reintroduced masking mandates after “reports of positive cases among students in the Atlanta University Center.”

Some public health officials, such as those in Los Angeles County, encouraged the immunocompromised population to once again don their masks.

Sources from inside the Biden administration confirmed that regime officials planned to bring back the draconian measures in order to prevent an allegedly new strain of the disease.

A high-level TSA official claimed that new memorandums and policies to re-implement masking procedures should be moved back into place. Masking requirements for TSA and airport employees reportedly restart in mid-September.

“This is an example of policy being guided not by science and data, but rather by fear and control. Lockdowns have devastating impacts on mental health, the economy and general well-being,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the announcement.

Some speculated that the rollout of a new COVID variant—and drastic measures taken against the illness—may be a tactic allowing Democrats to steal the 2024 election.

Queen Kamala Scornfully Shrugs Off Her Massive Unpopularity: ‘It’s What It Is’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris offered a curt response to the widespread criticism and unpopularity she has faced since taking office, and her retort went a long way in explaining her plummeting poll numbers.

Rather than addressing the concerns, Harris’s remarks during a Monday interview with Politico came across as dismissive of the public’s perception of her, going as far as implying that she doesn’t care about public opinion.

“You could have followed me around in Iowa [ahead of 2020],” Harris claimed. “You would have seen the same thing four years ago. It’s always who I’ve been. So I can’t get into people’s heads about why they characterize things as being one way or another. It’s not as though I’ve just found myself. I’ve always been here and never went away.”

When pressed by Politico about her scathingly low approval polls, Harris appeared to deflect from the criticism she has faced. “I’m not going to be distracted from my priority around maternal health,” Harris said after facing a net-negative rating approval of –17%, the lowest ever for any sitting vice president in the history of NBC polls.

“I’m not going to be distracted from an issue like traveling the country because the highest court of our land just took a constitutional right,” the vice president added. “Otherwise, that stuff will get in your head and debilitate you.”

Harris’s dismissive attitude was again evident when she remarked, “That’s just what has happened. It’s what it is. I’m not going to sit here and say, ‘Oh, you know, it’s not fair,’ because I am not new to these things.’”

The aloof Veep attempted to shift blame onto others, claiming that some leaders are targeting her to divert attention from the so-called Biden-Harris administration’s achievements.

At the same time, however, some of Biden’s largest donors have voiced concern about the lack of Harris’s likability, going as far as calling for her immediate ousting ahead of Biden’s re-election campaign.

“There are so-called leaders who aren’t focused on tackling the issues or challenges this country is facing,” Harris concluded, directly ignoring criticism from within her own party.

In early August, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, slammed the Biden administration for the self-inflicted border chaos, calling on imminent changes to address the influx of illegal aliens. “The national government has turned its back on New York City,” Adams said on April 20, 2023 in relation to the open border crisis.

Harris was originally tapped as the border czar by President Joe Biden in 2021 but quickly abandoned that role in May 2022, according to the New York Post’s editorial page.

Judge Rules Antifa Thugs Must Pay $300K to Journalist They Terrorized

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) In the wake of a baffling jury decision earlier this month to give alleged Antifa thugs a pass in a civil case brought against them after the brutal and well-documented assault of Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo, a judge on Monday meted out some measure of justice.

Three alleged Antifa defendants “were found in default” for “not responding to the court order to appear at the civil jury trial which was held earlier this month,” the Post Millennial reported. Each defendant was ordered to pay Ngo $100,000 in damages.

Corbyn “Katherine” Belyea, Madison “Denny” Lee Allen and Sammich Overkill Schott-Deputy—all alleged members of Rose City Antifa—faced charges of assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress resulting from the attack on Ngo.

Ngo went to the hospital as a result of the assault, which caused significant damage to his brain and other physical and psychological trauma. The complaint explained that the three attackers threw milkshake containers at him, followed by vicious punching and kicking.

The group of attackers also struck his face with carbon tactical gloves and plywood placards.

“While it will continue to be a steep uphill battle to collect today’s awarded damages given the default defendants’ history of evasion, I remain determined to hold Antifa and its members accountable for their violent attacks,” Ngo said.

He added praise for his attorneys — Dorothy Yamamoto, Gregory Michal, Harmeet Dhillon, James Muchal and Mark Trammell — for coming to the defense of his First Amendment rights.

Schott-Deputy, formerly known as Joseph Christopher Evans, has a lengthy rap sheet across several states and counties.

Until recently, Schott-Deputy has managed to avoid punishment. Previous charges against him—including assault and unlawful use of a weapon—were dismissed 36 months into his probation.

Belyea and Allen did not appear at the trial and did not have legal representation.

FBI Marks Ruby Ridge Anniversary by Killing 4 People this Month

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) On Aug. 21, 1992, six U.S. Marshals trespassed on Ruby Ridge, Idaho man Randy Weaver’s property—murdering one of his dogs and killing his son after the boy fired a warning shot in their direction.

The next day, FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi shot Weaver as he stepped out of his cabin, and then shot and killed Weaver’s wife, Vicki Weaver, as she stood in the cabin door holding their 10-month-old baby.

Now known simply as “Ruby Ridge,” the incident—which stemmed from undercover federal agents targeted and entrapping Weaver into selling a sawed-off shotgun—remains a textbook example of tyrannical government overreach.

However, the FBI keeps adding pages to that textbook 31 years later. Indeed, agents have shot at least four people under seemingly dubious circumstances this month, which marks the 31st anniversary of Ruby Ridge.

Most prominently—at least in conservative circles—the FBI killed an ailing 75-year-old man who had been making social media threats against Joe Biden and other federal officials.

After firing a “barrage of bullets” that left Utah man Craig Robertson dead around 6 a.m. on Aug. 9, authorities immediately carried the man out of his house and placed him on the sidewalk. There, his lifeless and bloody body remained for about two hours, according to the man’s neighbor.

While that case at least received some attention in conservative media, a lesser-publicized FBI shooting had already occurred the day before. That Aug. 8 shooting killed 32-year-old Albuquerque man Ahmad Nassar.

It’s unclear why the FBI raided Nassar’s residence. But like the Robertson shooting, his family and supporters are alleging wrongdoing on the part of the bureau.

Attorney Ahmad Assed, who is assisting Nassar’s family in the wake of the killing, reportedly said Nassar was known by the FBI and local authorities to have mental health issues, which were well-documented in recent years.

“A lot of people just felt really sorry for him because he was harmless in the community’s eyes,” he said. “He just suffered a lot from mental health disease, and was a superb young man, when he was on his medications and didn’t come off.”

The FBI has not released any details about the Nassar killing. The Albuquerque Journal confirmed Nassar’s identity through his family.

A week later, the FBI shot and killed another man—this one Henderson, Tennessee, resident Theodore Deschler.

According to local news reports,  the FBI refuses to tell Deschler’s family why they conducted the arrest warrant and why they shot him—leaving the family searching the house for clues as to what happened to their relative.

“It was a senseless act. You know Teddy was a 100% disabled veteran. He had problems. He had severe PTSD. He had depression but he was getting help for it but this was senseless. He didn’t have a weapon on him. He was just trying to get out of the house because it was filled with tear gas,” Deschler’s mother told local reporters.

Meanwhile, the family of Philadelphia man Tahiem Weeks-Cook also can’t get answers about why the FBI shot and killed him Aug. 4.

“They’ve told me nothing,” Weeks-Cooks’s mother reportedly said of the FBI.

“They were at the hospital. They refused to talk to me. They told the nurses that this was an ongoing situation, and they don’t have to tell me anything.”

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Weeks-Cooks was charged by authorities in Upper Southampton Township on state felony counts of robbery, conspiracy and making terroristic threats on the same week he was shot.

In the wake of Ruby Ridge, the FBI promised to reform how it handles law enforcement standoffs. A year later, more reforms were promised after the Waco massacre.

But 31 years later, those reforms clearly haven’t worked. And in the wake of at least four killings in one month, the FBI now doesn’t even feel the need to pay lip service to reforms—replacing empty promises with silence instead.

NYC Wants to Cram Illegals into Prison Where Epstein Croaked

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) After suffering from a relentless swarm of illegal immigrants and realizing the deluge has overrun homeless shelters, New York City officials proposed to shelter illegals in a federal jail that once held mobsters, terrorists and Wall Street hacks before it was shut down after Jeffrey Epstein’s dubious death at the facility.

The proposal that New York City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams pitched earlier this month to Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul’s administration came as New York struggles to handle the estimated 100,000 illegals who have arrived in the city since 2022 after they crossed the southern U.S. border and were transported to the sanctuary city.

Since the city is legally obligated to find shelter for criminals who illegally crossed the border of another country, Adams reacted by stuffing them into homeless shelters and, when they were filled, hotels, recreational centers, school gyms and the parking lot outside of a psychiatric center.

The letter that was written by a senior counsel for the city’s law department said that illegals could also be potentially housed in the defunct Metropolitan Correctional Center, which was closed in 2021.

Metropolitan Correctional Center, whose prisoners have included Mafia don John Gotti, associates of Osama bin Laden and the Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, was shut down after it came under public scrutiny because of horrible prisoners’ conditions and security lapses that were exposed after Epstein died in his cell under highly questionable circumstances.

The jail was filthy, infested with bugs and rodent, and plagued by water and sewage leaks so bad they had led to structural issues, lawyers complained at the time.

Right now, at least one advocacy group strongly opposes moving illegals to the prison.

“Mayor Adams likes to say that all options are on the table when it comes to housing asylum seekers, but certain places should most definitely be off the table,” Murad Awawdeh, executive director of the New York Immigration Coalition, said.

“The Metropolitan Correctional Center was a notoriously decrepit jail, and is not a suitable place to support people trying to build a new life in a new country.”

Since the influx of illegals cost the city $12 billion, according to Adams, it caused Hochul and Adams to start fighting and blaming each other over the current problem that both the state and city face.
