Trump PAC Trolls GOP Debate w/ ‘Vice Presidential Debate 2024’

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Donald Trump will be sitting for an online interview Wednesday night with Tucker Carlson, absent from the first GOP 2024 presidential primary debate in Milwaukee, but the former president and his campaign had already cast a wide shadow over the stage.

Starting with his proclamation on Truth Social over the weekend that “The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had” Trump cited his administration’s myriad accomplishments and an NBC poll that showed him leading his next closet competitor by a whopping 46%, before declaring “I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!”

Mainstream media and social media pundits spent the ensuing days in a frenzied reporting of how the eight candidates participating in the debate would respond to Trump’s absence, and how it would impact their own standings.

Reacting to the media’s obsession with how the other candidate’s would measure up to Trump, the former president’s MAGA PAC promoted the presidential debate as a de facto tryout for a slot on a Trump 2024 ticket as Veep.

The group even created a website where viewers watching the actual debate could vote for the winner of the “Vice Presidential Debate 2024” whose caricatures line a stage like pageant contestants: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Vice President Mike Pence, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson.

In a reported fit of pique at the possibility of Trump’s debate night interview with Carlson cutting into event-host Fox News’ ratings, the network slapped back by restricting post-debate “spin room” access for Trump allies.

“Trump senior aides who had indicated they’d be in the spin room — where campaigns tout their candidate and rip their foes — now will be able to enter only if they’re guests of media organizations,” according to an internal Fox memo obtained by Axios.

Trump shrugged off any intended slight with a dismissive post on Truth Social.

On the chance that any of the presidential contenders should make a shocking breakthrough during Wednesday night’s debate, Trump’s shadow would likely once again dim any immediate post-debate Thursday media attention that could be used for public acclaim.

“Can you believe it? I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney, Fani Willis, who is overseeing one of the greatest Murder and Violent Crime DISASTERS in American History,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It is all about ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

CNN Pummeled for Praising Biden’s Performance at ‘Evil’ and ‘Vile’ Maui Visit

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) The depth and mendacity of CNN’s collaboration with the Biden regime pushing White House talking points reached a new low, when the network was excoriated for its praise of President Joe Biden’s insult-riddled and politically obtuse fly-by in Maui.

Biden came under intense and brutal criticism for what many residents took as a twisted insult that disgraced the survivors and insulted the dead, when the president dropped a series of callous remarks during his short visit to the island that was destroyed by wildfires. The death toll is reportedly at least 117, and hundreds more remain missing.

Biden’s distortions of surviving a small electrical fire, which he portrayed as a deadly blaze, received especially blistering criticism from residents.

“Hearing you talk about your house that, you know, had a little fire, you almost lost your cat and your Corvette,” said one enraged resident, who called Biden “a vile human being,” ZeroHedge reported. “There were children that were incinerated to ash,” the resident added. “You’re a disgusting, despicable bastard.”

CNN’s Bill Weir offered a different perspective from his lofty perch as the network’s climate reporter.

After gushing about the president and “Dr. Biden” engaging with the locals and first responders for a few hours, Weir declared that Biden “said the right things in many cases when he came to the microphone to give his statements.”

Weir continued his cheerleading and lauded Biden for connecting with the common islanders’ pain by rehashing long debunked tales about tragedies in his own family and reportedly falling asleep at a memorial diner.

CNN’s climate reporter, despite the repeated insults dropped by Biden, insisted the president “did serve as empathizer-in-chief after five days of being mostly silent on the issue publicly.” Mostly silent, except for an original dismissive snub, followed by a string of insults and tone-deaf jokes.

“I am a British guy living in England. How much do you get paid to concoct fairy stories and pass them off as news and on camera too?” scolded one X commentator.

“You call yourself a journalist, then try being one and follow and report the facts of a story without fear or favour to any political view,” he added. “Or you can just carry on telling fairytales showing how democrat you are, and like Biden, telling lies for political favour.”

“I’ve been inside the presidential bubble for two presidents, a Republican, and a Democrat. I’ve never seen a display of callousness and arrogance like I saw yesterday in Maui with Biden,” wrote Dan Bongino, in a dual condemnation of Biden and CNN’s blatantly biased coverage.

“It wasn’t just bad optics, it was evil. It’s rare to see a display so devoid of common decency, even for someone as malicious as Biden.”

Cheapskate Chicago Mayor’s Back-to-School Frozen Pizza Stunt Backfires

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Embattled Chicago Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson received multiple levels of backlash when a political publicity stunt blew up in mockery and ridicule.

In partnership with a local group, Johnson was slated earlier this week to hand out pizza pies as part of a back-to-school celebration. The mayor stunned a group of clearly disappointed and perplexed school students, as they received what turned out to be frozen pizzas when they were headed home from classes. Johnson reportedly handed out upwards of 6,000 frozen pizza discs.

Aside from withering mockery over the wisdom of giving school kids frozen pizzas, social media commentators excoriated Johnson for holding PR stunts while the school children he was posing with were being terrorized by the city’s skyrocketing murder rate and violent crime under his administration.

“Yesterday’s pizza charade was more of Brandon Johnson attempting to look cool & once again, gain media press than actually finding solutions to keep these same children safe,” wrote Chicago’s Donald N. Muhammad.

That goal of staying alive or even safe has become increasingly difficult to achieve under the Soros-driven criminal justice reforms championed by Chicago Democrats. The impacts were especially deadly during Johnson’s first 100 days in office, according to Wire Points.

“New Chicago Police CompStat numbers show during Johnson’s first 100 days a total of 204 murders – far more than the mayor’s two immediate predecessors,” the outlet reported. “And in all, major crimes during Johnson’s first 100 days are up 25 percent compared to the same time period last year.”

A spree of deadly crime and violence that erupted days prior to Johnson’s frozen pizza party was gruesomely emblematic of the terror that has gripped the city.

“The events of last weekend capture the essence of the city’s terrible violence, with 40 shot and seven murdered, including four teens,” Wire Points reported and relayed the details via ABC7 Chicago:

  • A 14-year-old boy was fatally shot in his head and chest on Chicago’s South Side, police said. The shooting happened in the 8700-block of South Cregier Avenue at about 6:51 p.m.
  • A 16-year-old boy has died after he was shot Friday at around 7:49 p.m. in the 4400-block of S. Lavergne on the city’s Southwest Side. CPD said the teen was struck multiple times to the body by gunfire.
  • A 17-year-old girl was shot to death at a West Side Park on Saturday afternoon. Chicago police said she, along with a 16-year-old boy, were shot while a block party was going on nearby. The shooting happened in the North Austin neighborhood’s 5700-block of West Bloomingdale Avenue at about 4:10 p.m.
  • An 18-year-old passenger of a car was shot and killed Friday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side. The youth was inside a car just before 10 p.m. in the 4300-block of West Maypole Avenue when someone fired shots, striking him in the head, cheek and abdomen, Chicago police said.

“In all, the total number of teens aged 18 and under killed since Johnson took office has grown to 33,” the report concluded.

In a move that Chicago law enforcement officials have derided as nearly farcical as giving school kids frozen pizzas, city lawmakers haven been reduced to giving serious consideration of passing an official ordinance begging gangbangers to stop killing people.

Maybe they could be bribed with frozen pizzas.

‘Unhinged’ Fani Willis Snaps at Mark Meadows for Trying to Disrupt Her Perp Walks

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Fani Willis, the district attorney leading the prosecution in the sprawling sham racketeering case in Georgia, delivered a sharp retort to Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff, who sought intervention from a federal judge to restrain his planned showboat arrest.

Meadows’s request was based on his assertion that his actions in Georgia were intricately linked to his official role as chief of staff at the Trump-era White House, as reported by Politico on Tuesday.

Meadows’s attorneys issued a letter to U.S. District Court Judge Steven Jones, arguing that the former White House official should be shielded from state arrest, citing federal law’s protection of former government officials.

However, Willis dismissed this plea, standing by her earlier decision to grant no extensions for surrendering despite pending federal proceedings.

“I am not granting any extensions,” Willis claimed in a snap-back email on Tuesday. “I gave 2 weeks for people to surrender themselves to the court. Your client is no different than any other criminal defendant in this jurisdiction. The two weeks was a tremendous courtesy.”

The Fulton County district attorney didn’t stop there, asserting her determination to arrest Meadows. She stated, “At 12:30 pm on Friday I shall file warrants in the system,” firmly signaling that the legal process would continue unimpeded.

Meadows’s appeal to U.S. Judge Jones mirrored that of former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark.

As reported by Politico, “Former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark has similarly asked Jones to prohibit Willis from arresting him by Friday, contending that his role in Trump’s administration should also make him immune from the state-level charges.”

Both Meadows and Clark, joined by 17 other individuals, including Trump himself, face charges stemming from their purported endeavors to cast doubt upon the outcome of the fiercely contested 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Trump said Monday that he will surrender to authorities in Georgia on Thursday to face charges filed by the Soros-backed DA.

“Can you believe it? I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday night, hours after his bond was set at $200,000.

Biden’s Lavish Vacation at Dem. Donor’s Mansion Ignites Local Investigation

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Tom Steyer, a prominent leftist billionaire activist, is under investigation by a local government in Nevada for potentially violating civil law by renting his $18.5 million Lake Tahoe mansion to the Biden family without the required permit.

The civil probe, first reported by the Nevada Globe on Tuesday, has sparked controversy, as the lavish vacation has triggered allegations of ethical impropriety and potential legal infractions.

The complaint, which was lodged by a local resident in Douglas County, Nevada, to the Vacation Home Rental Advisory Board, asserted that Steyer rented his mansion to the Biden family for a nine-day getaway from Washington D.C., raising concerns over possible violations of local laws.

If the rental is deemed to be in violation of local laws, Steyer could face a hefty civil penalty of up to $20,000, reported the Nevada news outlet.

Ernie Strehlow, the program manager and head of code enforcement, confirmed that Steyer’s home is under local investigation following several complaints from residents.

“We cannot comment further as we are actively investigating any Douglas County Nevada code violations on this rental,” Strehlow claimed in a statement to the Nevada Globe.

Anticipating criticism, the Biden White House had claimed that the scandal-ridden Biden family is paying an alleged fair-market value for the rental, before adding that the mansion “belongs to Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor. The First Family is renting the home for fair market value.”

As reported by the Nevada Globe, Steyer is known for being the largest financial contributor to the impeachment of former President Donald Trump, who is now running to oust Biden from the White House in 2024.

The Steyer investigation has exposed a wider trend involving the Biden family.

According to the New York Post on Tuesday, Biden has accepted complimentary vacations from Democrat supporters, raising concerns of a double standard in comparison to the criticism aimed at Justice Clarence Thomas for alleged omissions of gifts from conservative allies.

Activist Targeted in FBI Provocation Scheme Seeks to Overturn Conviction

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Colorado man Zebb Hall, who was targeted by the FBI during the tumultuous summer of 2020, seeks to overturn his conviction for buying a gun for a felon, after it was revealed earlier this year that the felon was an unscrupulous FBI informant seeking to provoke protestors to violence.

The story of the FBI informant, Mickey Windecker, was reported in February by investigative reporter Trevor Aaronson in his podcast, Alphabet Boys.

According to Aaronson, Windecker infiltrated the Black Lives Matter movement to try to encourage activists engage in violent conspiracies such as the assassination of Colorado’s attorney general.

As Headline USA exclusively reported in March, at least one undercover FBI agent involved in the Colorado assassination plot was also likely involved in the bureau’s operation to provoke right-wing militias into conspiring to kidnap Michigan’s governor.

In Halls case, he resisted the FBI’s attempts to engage in any assassination or other violent plots.

However, Windecker, a convicted felon, did convince Hall to purchase him a firearm. Hall said he was intimidated by Windecker, who presented himself as an ex-special forces operator with combat experience in the Middle East.

“I was just afraid of him,” Hall told Aaronson. “I was fucking terrified of this guy.”

About a year later, Hall was arrested for purchasing the weapon for Windecker—in other words, as Aaronson noted, for buying a gun, with the government’s money, for the government’s informant. He took a plea deal and received three years of probation.

But in a petition filed in federal court by Hall in June, he said he would never have accepted the plea deal had he known about Windecker’s violent history.

“My prior attorney failed to thoroughly investigate and research on the government’s informant, Michael Windecker, recently exposed in the press, as a violent criminal used and weaponized by the FBI to infiltrate and disrupt the BLM movement in which I was a participant,” he said.

“Mr. Windecker was specifically chosen due to his intimidation tactics.”

The U.S. government responded to Hall’s appeal last month, arguing that the conviction against him should stand. Prosecutors noted that Hall allegedly already knew Windecker was a felon at the time he purchased the informant a weapon.

Prosecutors also contested Hall’s claim that he was afraid of Windecker.

“Hall told [Aaronson] that he was ‘afraid’ of the informant and bought the firearm because he thought the informant ‘would come after him if he refused.’ That fear appears to have been based on the facts that the informant drove around in a hearse filled with guns, boasted about his foreign-military experience, and generally seemed like a ‘badass,’” prosecutors said.

“Hall offers no evidence that the informant ever expressly or implicitly threatened him or otherwise induced him to commit the offense.”

Hall has until Oct. 25 to reply to the government’s response. A hearing date for his petition has yet to be scheduled.

Hall told Headline USA that he believes the FBI poses a threat to all Americans, regardless of skin color or ideology.

“I’m not a [Trump] supporter at all. But I cannot trust the FBI or other agencies investigating anyone at this point,” he said.

“This isn’t a threat to left, right, black, white, man, or woman. It’s a threat to every single American in this country,” he added.

‘Trump Won’ Sign Arsonist Identified After Tim Pool, Benny Johnson Offered Reward

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) A man who burned a “Trump won” sign in Raleigh, N.C., was identified and reported to police after the owner of the sign, John Kane, offered a reward for identifying him, with conservative commentators Tim Pool and Benny Johnson raising the price of the award.

“A gentleman from Lodi, California who does not want his name made public first identified the arsonist, Jim White, emailing @jlawrencenc at 1:52 am with Jim’s @Strava profile and GPS, timestamped maps of Jim’s rides that correspond with the time stamps on the videos,” Kane wrote.

“I sent him $1,000 as promised a few minutes ago and will be sharing his information with @Timcast and @bennyjohnson so that they can do the same. I am truly grateful to each of you for lending your audience and money to catching this arsonist,” he added.

James Lawrence, a lawyer who represents Kane, said that his client sent evidence “regarding the identity of the individual who twice set fire to his Trump sign to the Raleigh Police Department” on Sunday evening, the Post Millennial reported.

“My understanding is no arrest has been made as of yet. My client will be pressing charges and will be filing a civil lawsuit against the individual,” Lawrence added.

Kane shared Aug. 12, 2023, Nest surveillance video of a man on a bike stopping to kick the “Trump won” sign in his yard on Friday. On Aug. 15, 2023, a man on the bike returned to the scene of a crime to set the sign on fire at 4:19 a.m. because kicking it the first time didn’t work.

After Kane offered a $1,000 reward for providing information about the arsonist, both Pool and Johnson raised the price of the reward to $11,000 after two of them donated $5,000 each.

“I’ll add $5,000 to the reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this arsonist,” Pool said, with Johnson adding in a separate post that conservatives need to “stand up against hatred” and stop “political violence in [America].”

DHS Sends over $770M to Sanctuary Cities

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The Department of Homeland Security sent a massive amount of funds to non-governmental organizations and sanctuary cities in a delayed attempt to assist with the exploding illegal immigration crisis many of them faced.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency granted $770 million in federal funds to several nonprofits, according to Breitbart.

Catholic Charities, United Way, Mission: Border Hope, Louisiana Advocates for Immigrants in Detention and several other NGOs all received funds.

Cities such as Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, DC, Albuquerque and New York City also collected money via the initiative. Towns along the border, such as McAllen, Texas, also accepted funds.

The DHS sent the funds via the Biden administration’s Shelter and Services Program, which may allow more immigrants to move into the U.S.

Reps. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Lance Gooden, R-Texas, requested detailed records on what states and organizations received funding and exactly how much money they took.

“The surge of illegal immigration, fueled in part by NGOs like those on the [Emergency Food and Shelter Program] National Board is unsustainable and unfair to law-abiding citizens and immigrants alike,” Gooden said.

The millions of illegal immigrants living in the United States cost taxpayers billions in annual funds, not including higher housing prices, depleted wages, lost jobs, increased crime, and fewer schooling and public health resources.

The Biden administration only added to the cost for American taxpayers, releasing apps allowing immigrants to cross the border more easily and suing states that made efforts to slow the flood of migrants.

Mexican cartels recently took control of the CBP One app in order to allow appointments for anyone in the world.

“It’s further evidence as this administration continues to try to come up with a new security paradigm along that border that I don’t think they really understand it,” said former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolfe.

Pro-Life Activist Raided by FBI Announces Congressional Campaign

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Mark Houck, a pro-life activist who was previously raided by the FBI for protesting peacefully at an abortion clinic, allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, announced his congressional campaign for the House seat in the First District of Pennsylvania.

“I know firsthand what it’s like to be attacked by the federal government,” Houck said about his campaign. “I know firsthand how the enemy of the state can be created by virtue of your faith. And I want to protect the 1st District of Pennsylvania and all families in the 1st District from that ever happening to them.”

Houck challenged incumbent Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Penn., a moderate Republican and known bipartisan member of Congress, according to the Post Millennial.

Houck described his campaign as a restoration of “faith, family and freedom,” and planned to make his pro-life views the center of the campaign.

“The child doesn’t deserve the death penalty, and the reality of it is, we are further victimizing the mother,” Houck said in an interview. “And, so, once we start recognizing that, we’ll realize that rape and incest is not a good excuse to terminate a human being.”

Houck also announced his intention to protect “citizens’ rights and freedoms,” and “bring integrity to Washington, DC & prevent the government from interfering with the constitutional rights of the American citizen.”

School choice, fatherlessness and unbiased military funding were also priorities for his campaign.

The Biden Justice Department claimed that Houck and his young son violated the FACE Act, which made it “a federal crime to use force with the intent to injure, intimidate, and interfere with anyone because that person is a provider of reproductive health care.”

Houck pushed a male Planned Parenthood volunteer who yelled vile obscenities at his 12-year-old son as they both prayed outside of the clinic.

Over a year later, a 25-30 person SWAT team arrived at Houck’s home in a fleet of 15 vehicles. When asked to show a warrant, the agents said “they were going to take him whether they had a warrant or not.”

Houck was found not guilty in January.

Pennsylvania Court Says State Police Can’t Hide How It Monitors Social Media

(Headline USA) Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the state police can’t hide from the public its policy on how it monitors social media.

Advocates for civil liberties cheered the decision. The law enforcement agency had argued that fully disclosing its policy for using software to monitor online postings may compromise public safety.

All four Democrat justices supported the majority decision, which said the lower Commonwealth Court went beyond its authority in trying to give the state police another attempt to justify keeping details of the policy a secret. Tuesday’s order appears to end a six-year legal battle.

A state police spokesperson said the agency is reviewing the court decision.

Andrew Christy, a lawyer with the ACLU of Pennsylvania, said the ruling “sort of puts law enforcement on the same playing field as all government agencies. If they have a legal justification to keep something secret, then they have to put forth sufficient evidence to justify that.”

People need to know what police are doing in order to decide if it’s appropriate, he argued.

“Ultimately that relies on the voters understanding what law enforcement is doing so that then, through their elected representatives, they can rein them in when they’re acting in a way that doesn’t comport with what the public wants,” Christy said.

Justifying what the majority opinion described as heavy or complete redactions on every page of the nine-page regulation, the head of the state police’s bureau of criminal investigations argued that greater transparency about the policy would make its investigations less effective.

The state Office of Open Records held a private review of the blacked out material and and ruled that making the policy public would not be likely to harm investigations, calling the social media policy processes strictly internal and administrative in nature.

Redacted sections addressed the use of open sources, what approval is required, when to go undercover and use an online alias and how to verify information. State police also blacked out the entire section on using social media for employment background investigations.

A panel of three Republican Commonwealth Court judges reversed the Office of Open Records’ ruling that the policy should be disclosed without redactions, saying in May 2018 that the state police investigations chief based his analysis about the risk of exposure on his own extensive experience.

The majority decision issued Tuesday said Commonwealth Court should not have given the state police a new opportunity to lay out the supposed public safety risks. The majority ruled that Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law does not permit Commonwealth Court to order additional fact-finding not sought by state police.

“If PSP had requested the opportunity for additional fact-finding, our disposition today may have been different,” Justice David Wecht wrote for the majority.

The open records law has a timely and efficient process that should be followed, he added, noting that “six years already have passed.”

“If and when appellate review is allowed to serve as a reset button based upon a court’s ill-defined policy concerns, there is no limiting principle, and the judiciary’s claims to neutrality and ordered decision-making vanish,” Wecht wrote.

In a dissent, Justice Sallie Mundy said the lower court identified a question of fact that was unresolved: “whether there was a connection between the text of the document and risks articulated in the agency’s affidavit” about public safety. She and Justice Kevin Brobson, who joined her dissent, are the high court’s two Republicans.
