Never-Trumpers Support Youngkin for GOP Primary While DeSantis Sinks

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Never-Trump Republicans revealed that they would attempt to convince Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R-Va., to join the 2024 presidential race because Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., is not as popular as he used to be before he joined the race.

DeSantis, who once was the closest challenger to Donald Trump, very quickly fell behind Trump by as many as 50 points, even though he polled just 15 points behind him in February of this year, according to Breitbart. Some polls even indicated that Vivek Ramaswamy replaced him in the second place, putting him in third.

“DeSantis has faltered and failed to meet expectations and donors know it. No one has a real opening right now, but people are trying to figure out what to do,” former Ronald Reagan campaign manager Ed Rollins said.

Due to his undesirable performance, DeSantis’s donors started questioning whether he would be able to win the 2024 election and suggesting that he should hold off his presidential ambitions until 2028.

As a result, the prominent anti-Trump donors started looking at Youngkin as a potential alternative to Trump. The donors would use a two-day “Red Vest Retreat” event that will happen next month as “an opportunity for them to try to push, if not shove, Youngkin into the Republican presidential race,” CBS News’s Robert Costa said.

“… maybe we can talk him into it. He obviously wants to see what emerges, what the state of play is,” a billionaire Youngkin donor Thomas Peterffy said.

Among the non-donors who encouraged Youngkin to enter the race was a former Trump administration attorney general Bill Barr who eventually turned against Trump.

“I’m for whoever can beat Trump in the primary and, while I still think some of the current candidates can do this, I’d welcome Youngkin putting his oar in. If the governor indicated he’d do it, I believe he would draw serious support and be a strong candidate,” Barr said.

Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, who used to back DeSantis, also encouraged Youngkin to join the GOP primary.

Among other Trump-hating people was also Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton.

“The search for other people is very real,” he said.

REPORT: Just 3% of San Francisco Restaurants Have NOT Been Vandalized

(Headline USA) Just 3% of restaurants in San Francisco have not been vandalized in the past month, according to a new survey.

Restaurateurs have had to spend significant resources on cleaning solutions to clean graffiti off their buildings and fix smashed windows, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. A couple of weeks ago, for example, Supreme Pizza in the Mission District was hit with acid.

“This is acid, so you can’t just remove it,” owner Leandro Jayme said. “They have to replace the glass.”

If business owners don’t clean up the mess, they could be fined up to $500 by the city.

Hanson Li, a partner at three different restaurants, said running a small business in San Francisco is like “death by a thousand cuts.”

“All these seemingly small things not only have actual dollar repercussions but then, like, the repairs are going to be two times what they took,” Li explained.

One San Francisco official admitted officials recently have deliberately cracked down on graffiti removal enforcement as they work to rehab the city’s tattered image.

“When we had more than a year of not going to enforce [it], if we didn’t have that stick with the carrot… sometimes people would just let it sit on their building,” Rachel Gordon, a spokeswoman for the San Francisco Department of Public Works, told ABC 7.

“And then … more tags will come and another and another,” she added, referencing graffiti artists’ unique signature designs.

Even when the city introduced financial aid to help restaurants with removal, business owners argued it wasn’t sufficient to deal with the near-daily vandalism.

“It’s disheartening,” said Kayla Abe, co-owner of the restaurant Shuggie’s. “It just feels like there’s a huge disconnect between what the city thinks is good for us and how much we’re actually struggling on the ground.”

Several major businesses have shut down their storefronts in San Francisco over the past couple of years, citing out of control crime and homelessness.

In fact, since 2019, 47% of businesses in the area have closed, according to the San Francisco Standard.

(Headline USA) House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., issued subpoenas for the personal bank records of Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden as part of House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, the New York Post reported.

Following his committee’s bombshell findings that Hunter wired hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Chinese company to his father’s Delaware residence in 2019 while he was living in California, Comer argued it is clear Joe Biden played a role in his son’s foreign business dealings.

The Kentucky Republican said he hopes the bank records he is subpoenaing will prove Joe Biden’s connections.

“From day one of our investigation of Joe Biden’s abuse of public office, we’ve followed the money and that continues with today’s subpoenas for Hunter and James Biden’s bank records,” Comer said in a statement Thursday following the House Ways and Means Committee’s first official impeachment inquiry hearing.

“Bank records don’t lie, and coupled with witness testimony, they reveal that Joe Biden abused his public office for his family’s financial gain,” Comer added.

Some of the businesses named in the subpoena that were associated with Hunter Biden include: Owasco, P.C.; Owasco, LLC; and Skaneateles. Those associated with James Biden in the subpoena were Lion Hall Group, LLC; and JBBSR, Inc. 

Comer said the entities have until Oct. 12 to hand over the records.

“As the Bidens were sealing deals around the world, Joe Biden showed up, met with, talked with, shook hands with, and had meetings with the foreign nationals sending money to his family,” Comer explained. “This culture of corruption demands further investigation.”

Witnesses called before the committee on Thursday—including noted constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley—acknowledged that additional evidence tying Joe Biden to his family’s influence peddling was needed before formal articles of impeachment could be drawn.

The witnesses did agree, however, that there was enough evidence for a formal probe and expressed support for the impeachment inquiry.

Feds Considered Sex Trafficking Charges against Hunter Before Sweetheart Deal

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Explosive revelations from a newly uncovered document suggest that Hunter Biden could have faced sex trafficking charges in the past.

These allegations stem from an email in which an IRS tax criminal prosecutor, Jack Morgan, referred nine instances of prostitutes and Hunter Biden to Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf, raising concerns over potential violations of the Mann Act, according to a Ways and Means Committee document reviewed by Headline USA.

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., made over 700 pages public as part of their impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. 

The email from the prosecutor, dated October 2020, brought attention to two “likely” escorts and one individual referred to as a “hooker,” all allegedly linked to Hunter. The Mann Act, officially known as the White-Slave Traffic Act, criminalizes the transportation of “any woman or girl” for prostitution purposes. 

While the DOJ has yet to charge Hunter with any sex trafficking-related crimes, IRS whistleblowers revealed that he allegedly concealed payments for escorts by placing them as deductions on his tax returns. 

In total, the whistleblowers provided the House Republicans with over 700 pages of documents related to their criminal probe of Hunter.  

Republicans held their first impeachment inquiry on Thursday, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., drawing attention to what she described as Hunter’s victims.  

“I sent the Department of Justice a letter requesting information related to victims of Hunter Biden, specifically women he sexually exploited and then claimed as deductions on his taxes through his law firm but he never paid those taxes,” Greene said. “Not surprisingly the Department of Justice did not respond.”

During the same speech, the Georgia lawmaker highlighted the unveiled email tied to the Mann Act. “Yesterday, I found out why they don’t want to talk with us. In a new email just released by the way from October 2020 could you please display the email the Delaware U.S. attorney’s Office DOJ tax FBI and IRS described evidence they have related to Mann Act violations.” 

She added, “Then it’s clear there are charges on the table while the Department of Justice is in hiding from meeting with me the Department of Justice. …Hunter Biden had escorts who traveled across state lines these women are victims and the Department of Justice is refusing to protect their rights.” 

House Oversight Committee James Comer, R-Ky., hinted at a “mountain of evidence” that Biden exploited his power to enrich his family, promising to release more in the upcoming weeks.

(Headline USA) Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is reportedly being scouted by a Canadian professional football team, according to Fox News.

The British Columbia Lions added the one-time San Francisco 49er—who has not played in the NFL since 2016 and has taken to leftist activism instead—to their negotiation list. It is not clear whether the team will end up signing Kaepernick.

The move comes days after Kaepernick sent a letter to the New York Jets asking the team for a spot on the team’s practice squad following the season-ending injury to newly signed star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

“I know the aspirations this season were, and still are, to win a championship, and so that Hall of Fame sized hole will need to be filled as best as possible to keep the team on a Super Bowl track,” Kaepernick wrote. “As of right now, Zach Wilson is charged with that task, and I wish him and the rest of the team the best moving forward.”

Kaepernick, who previously compared being on an NFL team to slavery, claimed that if he were allowed to join the Jets practice squad, he would “do this with the sole mission of getting your defense ready each week.”

“This would also allow you guys as an organization to take a real look at where I’m at football wise, in game-like situations against an elite defense, while also not putting and competitive pressure on Zach,” he added.

“I understand the importance of keeping him confident and focused as QB1, and I would only look to boost the confidence in any interactions that we may have if I was given this role within the team,” he added.

Since he was let go from the NFL in 2016, Kaepernick has continued to generate controversy through Nike ad campaigns and Black Live Matter advocacy that many have criticized as being anti-American.

He has also regularly accused the NFL of failing to properly address “social injustices” and said that his exclusion from the league illustrated his point that the NFL was insufficiently woke.

While it is the dream of a lifetime for many aspiring athletes even to be considered for the NFL draft, Kaepernick equated it to a slave auction.

“Before they put you on the field, teams poke, prod and examine you searching for any defect that might affect your performance,” he complained. “No boundary respect. No dignity left intact,” he added.

It is unclear how he will fare in Canada under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has been known for wearing blackface, shutting down free speech with authoritarian dictates reminiscent of Cuba’s Fidel Castro and recently offered a standing ovation to an actual Nazi “war hero.”

Kari Lake Announces U.S. Senate Run

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) In an exclusive statement to the Wall Street Journal, a former Republican gubernatorial Arizona candidate Kari Lake announced that she is running for the U.S. Senate, thus challenging a left-wing Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., a former Democrat.

Lake said that she will officially launch her campaign at a rally she will hold on Oct. 10, 2023.

Despite the rumors that Donald Trump would choose her as a vice president, Lake previously hinted at a run.

“We need to get a senator in there who is going to fight back and put America first,” she said.

The Journal reported that Lake is expected to get the full backing of Trump for her Senate run.

Even though Sinema hasn’t yet officially announced her re-election bid, the news source reported that her team has been laying the groundwork for a third-party bid.

Aside from Lake, there is also another person who will challenge Sinema — Ruben Gallego who runs as a Democrat.

Lake became well-known all around the country last year when she launched the gubernatorial campaign in her state. She closely aligned herself with Trump and spent a big part of her campaign pushing back against the mass media smears and her critics’ attacks.

However, despite her popularity both in the entire country and in the state of Arizona, Lake wasn’t able to become the governor due to the Democrats cheating in the election and appointing a far-left Katie Hobbs who ran her campaign as a Democrat while running away from the reporters.

To this day, Lake fights in courts to raise concerns about election integrity, for which she is constantly smeared by the leftists since they don’t want her to tell people about what happened in 2022.

As expected, the mass media never pushed back against the claims from Democrats, like Hillary Clinton, who challenged the previous elections, including the ones that happened in 2016 and 2018.

(Headline USA) Tech billionaire Elon Musk livestreamed his visit to the southern border this week, highlighting the ways in which illegal immigrants and drug cartels are exploiting the open border, according to Bloomberg.

“This is real time, unfiltered,” he said in the video, accompanied by Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas. “What you see is what I see.”

The South Africa-born Twitter and Tesla owner said he is “extremely pro-immigrant” since he is an immigrant himself, but he explained that there needs to be expanded access to legal immigration for qualified individuals and a crackdown on those who are violating U.S. immigration law.

“To be clear, we’re both very much in favor of expanded legal immigration,” said the red-pilled liberal Musk of himself and Gonzalez, a RINO centrist first elected in 2020 who already has been censured by Texas Republicans for regularly siding with Democrats on social issues like gay marriage, abortion and immigration.

“I think anyone who is hardworking and honest and is really gonna add to … the economy, we should let them in,” Musk continued. “But what we’re seeing here are in some cases some pretty extreme individuals coming through … obviously not suggesting everyone is like this.”

Musk shared that he heard about a man with facial tattoos, including teardrops, who had hopped the border. The tattoo, he explained, “means they have murdered someone and they are so proud of having murdered someone that they tattoo—one tear on their face for every one person that they killed.”

While he only visited Eagle Pass, Texas, Musk argued the border crisis is having serious effects on other parts of the country.

It is “leading to a collapse of social services where even America’s largest city, New York, is buckling under the pressure of just how many illegal immigrants are going to New York,” he said.

“If New York can’t handle it, well, pretty much no part of the country can,” Musk continued. “So if we don’t do something soon, we’re just gonna have, like I said, a collapse in social services as we’re already seeing in New York.”

Lawmakers Unveil Plan to Oust McCarthy, Replacement Named

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Some staunch conservatives at the House are reportedly hatching a secret plan to dethrone Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker, according to a report by the Washington Post. 

The dissidents, led by firebrand Rep. Matt Gaetz, are said to be eyeing House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, Minn., as a potential successor to McCarthy should their plan succeed. However, Emmer has vehemently denied any involvement in the plan.

“I fully support Speaker McCarthy. He knows that and I know that,” Emmer claimed. “I have zero interest in palace intrigue. End of discussion.” 

Tensions within House Republicans have been escalating for the past several months, particularly after McCarthy raised the debt ceiling to appease President Joe Biden.

On Thursday, allies of the speaker delivered a harsh message to Gaetz, telling him to “f-ck off” during a contentious conference meeting. The tussle came after the Florida lawmaker accused McCarthy of launching a smear campaign on social media against him. 

The rift has deepened after Gaetz reportedly threatened to file a motion against McCarthy on two separate occasions from the House floor. Gaetz’s grievances are centered around McCarthy’s perceived failure to fulfill his promises since being elected house speaker, particularly a continuing resolution.

While some Republican lawmakers chose to support McCarthy, others have been vocal in their criticism. One member of the House Freedom Caucus told the Post that while McCarthy has “done some good things,” he was “tired of messaging votes.” Another unnamed lawmaker admitted he told Emmer that “his name has been floated around as replacement if Kevin falters.” 

Adding to story, Politico reported that Gaetz even approached some House Democrats in his quest to unseat McCarthy. 

“He’s been talking to everybody about it,” Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., told the media outlet. “I told him in our caucus, in the Progressive Caucus, we’re not planning to save McCarthy — for a whole host of reasons. And so, we really need to get through the shutdown first.”

In addition, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries distanced himself from the GOP, claiming, “I have no interest in what is happening in terms of the GOP civil war, zero interest.”

Hillary Clinton Wins an Emmy Award for Netflix Documentary

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Hillary and Chelsea Clinton collaborated to create a feminist documentary and, unsurprisingly, received an Emmy award from the Hollywood leftists.

The mother and daughter worked together as executive producers of the Netflix documentary In Her Hands, a film about the youngest female mayor in the history of Afghanistan, the Hollywood Reporter wrote.

On Thursday night, the feminist propaganda received the Emmy for politics and government documentary during the second evening of the 44th News & Documentary Emmy Awards.

It wasn’t publicly revealed at the ceremony, which the Clintons did not attend, who would be receiving statuettes for winning projects. However, David Winn, head of the News & Documentary Awards for The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, clarified that.

“As executive producers on the film, [Hillary and Chelsea Clinton] are considered statue eligible,” he said.

The film was the first project of the production company HiddenLight Productions which was founded by Clintons. In 2022, In Her Hands premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the audience award at the Camden International Film Festival later that fall.

In Her Hands covered the 19 months before the Taliban recaptured Afghanistan after the overnight U.S. withdrawal that was caused by Joe Biden, from the perspective of Zarifa Ghafari, the country’s youngest female mayor.

The shooting of the documentary began in 2020 when Ghafari was still mayor of Maidan Shahr, the capital of Maidan Wardak province in central Afghanistan. However, the country’s capital, Kabul, had fallen by August 2021, plunging the country into a humanitarian crisis.

The documentary was also produced by Juan Camilo Cruz of the outfit Moondogs and Jonathan Schaerf of the company that is unironically called Propagate Productions.

However, as it always goes, virtue signaling and pushing feminist propaganda wasn’t enough, which resulted in the “left eats its own” situation.

In Toronto last fall, the former secretary of state was accused by Oscar-winning Citizenfour director Laura Poitras of “engaging in a kind of whitewashing” by seamlessly moving into nonfiction filmmaking.

“The irony of the former secretary of state’s involvement in the project nags at the film, which flirts with criticisms of the United States’ hawkish interventionism,” the Hollywood Reporter’s Lovia Gyarkye said.

Hunter Signed Letter to Ukraine Prosecutor to Drop Probe of Burisma

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A newly disclosed letter has exposed Hunter Biden’s direct involvement in pressuring a Ukrainian prosecutor to drop the criminal investigation into Burisma, the infamous gas company he worked for. 

The letter, first released by the House Ways and Means Committee and co-signed by Alan Apter and Aleksander Kwasniewski, both executives at Burisma, was addressed to the prosecutor who replaced Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor who had initiated the investigation into the gas company.

The two-page letter contained a firm demand for the termination of the probe against Burisma. “Moreover it is imperative that allegations of criminal activity made to the media about Burisma and/or Nikolay Zlochevsky come to an end,” the letter stated, highlighting the urgency of their demands.  

“While Burisma will cooperate in the investigation we as Members of the Board of Directors will not be silent in the face of condemnations of Burisma – a company that has not been proven to be engaged in illegal actions,” the document continued. 

Notably, the letter also included a veiled threat, stating, “We, as advisories and fiduciaries, respectfully request that during the term of your investigation that you refrain from any further allegations that the energy sales and services Burisma’s provides to Ukrainian businesses as well as others not be impede in any way.” 

This revelation comes at a critical point in the impeachment inquiry against Biden, who is facing allegations of bribery and corruption. Specifically, the Republican-led inquiry was triggered by accusations that Biden received bribes from Burisma in exchange for using his political influence to shield Burisma from the criminal investigation, as detailed in an FBI informant file.

The letter’s emergence could further fuel speculation surrounding Biden’s role in pressuring then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to remove former Shokin, who had initiated the investigation into Burisma.

Democrats argue that the newly released Hunter letter shows that Shokin’s ousting was not related to Burisma, as the new prosecutor launched a probe against the company. 

In addition to the bombshell letter, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., also released over 700 pages of documents related to the criminal investigation against Hunter by the IRS. 

Whistleblowers who participated in the probe alleged that they were barred from further investigating Hunter’s foreign business dealings and other Biden relatives. These whistleblowers subsequently turned to the Ways and Means Committee with their allegations.
