Biden’s DOJ Begs for Trump Gag Order, Yet Skips Damning Fact

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The DOJ has once again sought the intervention of a federal judge in their battle against former President Donald Trump, begging a gag order to block him from making statements regarding the 2020 election case.

According to the New York Times, prosecutors from the DOJ argued on Friday that Trump’s public comments constitute “a sustained campaign of prejudicial public statements” aimed at undermining the scandal-plagued DOJ and Special Counsel Jack Smith, but they skipped a major key factor.

The DOJ cited Trump’s recent remarks targeting outgoing Joint Chiefs head Gen. Milley as a prime example of why they believe a gag order is necessary. However, they failed to mention that Trump, who has long used his social media platforms to communicate with his voters, was merely responding to Milley’s attacks against him.

Milley, who has become a vocal critic of Trump, has been interviewed by various media outlets and is a key witness in the case. Speaking to the Atlantic on Sept. 21, Milley admitted to holding secret conversations with China in a bid to understand the duly elected president.

Reacting to those reports, Trump posted on Truth Social, saying, “This is an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been death!”

Biden’s prosecutor Molly Gaston argued, “No other criminal defendant would be permitted to issue public statements insinuating that a known witness in his case should be executed. This defendant should not be, either.” The prosecutor also used another Trump post where he touted a photo inside a gun store.

Even though Trump is Biden’s leading opponent, Gaston claimed that Trump does not deserve special treatment.

“He demands special treatment, asserting that because he is a political candidate, he should have free rein to publicly intimidate witnesses and malign the court, citizens of this district, and prosecutors,” she claimed in her plea to the judge. “But in this case, Donald J. Trump is a criminal defendant like any other.”

The initial request for a gag order was submitted in September 5, but Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, who has faced criticism from Trump in the past, has yet to rule on the matter, according to the New York Times.

Hispanic Worker Sues Alvin Bragg, NYPD after Self-Defense Charges

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A former bodega worker, Jose Alba, who was charged with murder after defending himself against a violent attacker, has filed a lawsuit against embattled Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, alleging racial discrimination.

Last year, a viral video captured Alba’s harrowing struggle for survival as he defended himself against the relentless assault of ex-convict Austin Simon. The incident took place after a dispute between Alba and Simon’s then-girlfriend, igniting Simon to violently leap over the counter and attack the 61-year-old worker.

The video ignited a wave of criticism directed at Bragg, who has been criticized for his purported “soft-on-crime” stance, leading many to believe that New Yorkers are left to fend for themselves due to lax law enforcement.

Alba’s attorneys argue that their client was unfairly targeted due to Bragg’s controversial “racial equity” policy, which they believe has resulted in unintended discrimination against certain defendants based on race.

“While in theory, Bragg’s ‘racial equity’ policies are a well-intentioned attempt by him to implement even-handed justice, the means and methods employed by Bragg have instead had an opposite effect and resulted in discrimination against certain defendants based on race,” the lawsuit stated, as reported by the New York Post on Saturday.

Alba, a Dominican immigrant and a diligent worker, found himself facing second-degree murder charges from Bragg, who set his bail at an astonishing $500,000, despite the video evidence and numerous pleas from prominent lawmakers and community members. Following massive bipartisan pressure, Bragg dropped the charges.

The lawsuit alleges that Alba’s financial limitations to pay the harsh bail landed him on New York’s notorious Rikers Island, where he endured “inhumane and unconstitutional conditions.”

Even New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a fellow Democrat, voiced his support for Alba’s release.

“My heart goes out to the employee who was in the store doing his job,” Adams said at the time of the arrest. “I am hoping that we take all of that into consideration, as this hard-working New Yorker was doing his job, and someone aggressively went behind the counter to attack him.”

The lawsuit comes after failed negotiations for a pre-lawsuit settlement between Alba and Bragg, whose tenure has been marked by controversy.

Bragg has faced accusations of prosecuting powerless New Yorkers while neglecting cases involving politically charged figures, namely former President Donald Trump.

Most notable was the case of Daniel Penny, a Marine veteran hailed as a hero for defending bystanders on a subway train. Penny used a deadly chokehold to subdue an unhinged homeless man, Jordan Neely, who had violently threatened bystanders minutes before.

Rep. Bowman Faces Potential Arrest, Expulsion After Obstruction of Stopgap Bill

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Fervent conservatives are demanding the immediate arrest of a Democratic lawmaker, also a member of the socialist “Squad” after he pulled a fire alarm an hour before House Republicans passed a critical stopgap bill to avert a government shutdown.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., was caught on security footage pulling the fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building, triggering an emergency evacuation and thus delaying the Republican-led proceeding.

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y. a prominent House Republican, explicitly accused Bowman of intentionally pulling the fire alarm. However, Bowman has since claimed that the act was a mistake, stating, “I thought the alarm would open the door.”

This excuse, however, has done little to appease his critics, who are calling for swift consequences.

Leading the charge, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., firmly called for immediate charges. “I’m calling on the DOJ to prosecute him using the same law they used to prosecute J6 defendants for interfering with an official proceeding,” Greene said.

“The Democrats literally will do anything to shut OUR government down because billions aren’t going to their favorite country: Ukraine,” the Georgia lawmaker added.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., pledged to introduce a resolution calling for his expulsion from Congress. “his is the United States Congress, not a New York City high school. This action warrants expulsion & I’m introducing a resolution to do just that,” she said on Twitter.

Joining the chorus of voices, Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont., questioned the potential lack of consequences.

“How is it that Rep. Jamal Bowman (D-NY) can pull a fire alarm during a vote, which is clearly ‘interfering with a legislative proceeding,’ and there be no ramifications?” he questioned. “Yet, protestors from across the country who came to Washington on January 6th are serving hard time in prison for doing less.”

Even political commentators on social media also weighed in. Collin Rugg, the co-founder of Trending Politics, asserted that Bowman’s act constitutes a felony. Specifically, Rugg cited penal code 1512(c)(2) which makes it a crime to obstruct an “official proceeding.”

Political commentator Benny Johnson echoed the sentiments, demanding, “ARREST & Prosecute Rep. Bowman IMMEDIATELY!”

Despite Bowman’s alleged action, the stopgap bill in question was ultimately passed by House Republicans, marking a major victory for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration. If approved, it will avert a government shutdown for approximately 45 days.

Insurrectionist ‘Squad’ Rep. Pulls Fire Alarm in Attempt to Force Gov’t Shutdown

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) As House members’ negotiations on funding the federal government predictably came down to an 11th-hour vote in which Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., opted to rely on Democrats—jeopardizing his future leadership role—it was not Republicans who tried to derail the deal, forcing a government shutdown, but a radical Squad member.

Ripping a page straight from high school, Rep. Jamaal Bowman—the purile New York leftist notorious for his bombastic rhetoric on the House floor and for getting into actual altercations with colleagues on the steps of the U.S. Capitol—appeared to have pulled a fire alarm to delay the vote past its deadline.

Several experts on Twitter pointed out that, in doing so, Bowman likely committed obstruction of Congress—the same felony charge that Justice Department prosecutors have attempted to pin on hundreds of Jan. 6 political dissidents who toured the Capitol during the Joint Session to certify the votes of the Electoral College in the 2020 election.

According to Politico, the charge carries a maximum 20 year sentence and hinges on whether the individual was proceeding with “corrupt intent”—which clearly seems to have been the case based on evidence. Although Bowman claims it was an accident, footage suggest otherwise.

The incident, which briefly forced an evacuation, is currently under investigation by U.S. Capitol Police, the same force who committed and then covered up the homicide of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt by Lt. Michael Byrd.

McCarthy noted the connection between Bowman’s actions and those of the Jan. 6 protesters but stopped short of calling it obstruction.

“When you think about how other people were treated when they come in and wanted to change the course of what was happening in the building,” such actions should be taken “seriously,” he said, according to NBC News.

“This should not go without punishment,” he added. “I’m gonna have a discussion with the Democratic leader about it. But this should not go without punishment. This is an embarrassment.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. was unlikely to hold Bowman accountable any more than Democrats have held President Joe Biden accountable for his corruption in the face of overwhelming evidence that shows he took bribes in connection with his son’s foreign business deals.

Democrats have instead chosen to insist that there is no such evidence whatsoever and may, likewise, try to deny that there is any photographic evidence showing Bowman pulling the fire alarm.

“Until I see the video, I have no further comment,” Jeffries said Saturday.

California Passes $20 Minimum Wage for Fast Food Workers

(Headline USA) A new law in California will raise the minimum wage for fast food workers to $20 per hour next year.

When it takes effect on April 1, fast food workers in California will have the highest guaranteed base salary in the industry.

The state’s minimum wage for all other workers — $15.50 per hour — is already among the highest in the United States.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the law Thursday amid a throng of cheering workers and labor leaders at an event in Los Angeles.

Newsom’s signature reflects the power and influence of labor unions in the nation’s most populous state, which have worked to organize fast food workers in an attempt to improve their wages and working conditions.

Mary Kay Henry, president of the Service Employees International Union International, said the law capped 10 years of work — including 450 strikes across the state in the past two years.

Newsom signing the law could win back some favor with organized labor, who sharply criticized him last week for vetoing a separate bill aimed at protecting the jobs of truck drivers amid the rise of self-driving technology.

Unions have played a big part in Newsom’s political rise in California, offering a reliable source of campaign cash.

The new minimum wage for fast food workers will apply to restaurants with at least 60 locations nationwide, with an exception for restaurants that make and sell their own bread, like Panera Bread.

Right now, California’s fast food workers earn an average of $16.60 per hour, or just over $34,000 per year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The new $20 minimum wage is just a starting point. The law creates a Fast Food Council that has the power to increase that wage each year through 2029 by 3.5% or the change in averages for the U.S. Consumer Price Index for urban wage earners and clerical workers, whichever is lower.

Newsom Signs Slew of Anti-Life Laws

(Headline USA) California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a new law on Wednesday that aims to stop other states from prosecuting ‘doctors’ and pharmacists who mail abortion pills to mothers wishing to murder their baby where infanticide is banned.

California already has a law protecting ‘doctors’ who provide infanticide from out-of-state judgements. But that law was designed to protect ‘doctors’ who treat patients from other states who travel to California.

The new law goes further by forbidding authorities from cooperating with out-of-state investigations into ‘doctors’ who mail abortion pills to patients in other states. It also bans bounty hunters or bail agents from apprehending ‘doctors,’ ‘pharmacists’ and parents wishing to commit infanticide in California and transporting them to another state to stand trial for killing a child.

California’s law also bars state-based social media companies — like Facebook — from complying with out-of-state subpoenas, warrants or other requests for records to discover the identity of mothers seeking to kill their babies.

“Health care providers, physically located in California, will be able to offer a lifeline [more like a death-line] to people in states that have cut off access to [infanticide],” state Sen. Nancy Skinner, a Berkeley Democrat and author of the bill, said in a statement.

The law only protects ‘doctors’ and pharmacists who reside in California. If a ‘doctor’ or pharmacist leaves California to provide care to a patient in another state, the law would not protect them.

The California Catholic Conference opposed the law, arguing the state is “engaging in ideological colonization against states and citizens that do not want abortion.”

“Denying the legitimate interest of other states to protect unborn children and public health is a dangerous precedent,” the association wrote in a letter to lawmakers earlier this year.

The law is one of eight that Newsom signed on Wednesday aiming to protect access to infanticide.

The Democrats who control California’s Legislature have made the continuation of infanticide a priority in their state since the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

McCarthy to Use Dem. Votes to Fund Fed

(Headline USA) House speaker Kevin McCarthy announced a dramatic pivot Saturday, trying to push a 45-day funding bill through the House with Democratic help — a move that could keep government open but most certainly risks his job.

Republican lawmakers met behind closed doors early in the morning with hours to go before the midnight deadline needed to fund government operations or face a disruptive federal closure.

The House was preparing for a quick vote Saturday on the plan.

With no deal in place before Sunday, federal workers will face furloughs, more than 2 million active-duty and reserve military troops will work without pay and programs and services that Americans rely on from coast to coast will begin to face shutdown disruptions.

The sudden House action would fund government at current 2023 levels for 45 days and provide money for U.S. disaster relief.

McCarthy, R-Calif., will be forced to rely on Democrats for passage because Republicans have said they will oppose any short-term measure.

McCarthy was setting up a process for voting that will require a two-thirds supermajority, about 290 votes in the 435-member House for passage. Republicans hold a 221-212 majority, with two vacancies.

Relying on Democratic votes and leaving right wing Republicans behind is something that the right-wing lawmakers have warned will risk McCarthy’s job as speaker.

They are almost certain to quickly file a motion to try to remove McCarthy from that office, though it is not certain they have enough votes to topple the speaker.

“If somebody wants to remove because I want to be the adult in the room, go ahead and try,” McCarthy said of the threat to oust him. “But I think this country is too important.”

The quick pivot comes after the collapse Friday of McCarthy’s earlier plan to pass a Republican-only bill with steep spending cuts up to 30% to most government agencies that the White House and Democrats rejected.

Across the Capitol, the Senate also prepared a rare Saturday session to advance its own bipartisan package that is supported by Democrats and Republicans and would fund the government for the short-term, through Nov. 17.

An earlier McCarthy plan to keep the government open collapsed Friday due to opposition from 21 right-wing holdouts despite steep spending cuts of nearly 30% to many agencies and severe border security provisions.

After Friday’s vote, McCarthy’s chief Republican critic, Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, said the speaker’s bill “went down in flames as I’ve told you all week it would.”

2023 has Been a Battleground for Transgender Athletics

(Tom Gantert, The Center Square) – A law took effect in Texas this month that bans transgender ‘women’ from playing a woman’s sport at the college level. It was similar to a 2021 law that banned athletes in public schools in that state from playing on any team that differed from the sex they were assigned to at birth.

This year has been the battleground for the debate on whether biological males who identify as females should be allowed to play female sports as politicians and the courts have grappled with the issue.

Many government agencies and transgender advocacy groups are pushing to allow boys who say they are girls to participate in sports previously reserved for females while polling shows that a majority of Americans are against it.

According to The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll of 2,500 registered voters across the U.S., a 2-to-1 majority oppose transgender women student-athletes competing in women’s sports. The poll was released in August and conducted by Noble Predictive Insights.

A Gallup poll released in June found 69% say transgender athletes should only be allowed to compete on sports teams that align with their biological sex at birth.

At the core of the debate is the accusation of discrimination, transgender women being victims of it by those wishing to keep girls’ women’s sports played among women; and the accusation of fairness, girls and women being the victims when forced to compete against biological males.

“Women and young girls deserve to compete on a level playing field. When laws ignore biological reality and allow males to compete on girls’ sports teams, girls are harmed and denied athletic opportunities,” Christiana Kiefer, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom, wrote in an email to The Center Square. “Science and common sense tell us that males are generally bigger, faster, and stronger than females. They have larger hearts and lungs, denser bones, and stronger muscles. No amount of testosterone suppression can undo all those advantages. We hope that states continue to protect fairness in women’s sports by adopting laws and policies that reflect biological reality.”

The Alliance Defending Freedom is involved in a 2020 lawsuit in which it represented four female Connecticut high school athletes. They filed a lawsuit challenging the state athletic association’s policy to allow boys to play girls’ sports.

U.S. District Judge Robert Chatigny ruled against the female athletes in December. The Heritage Foundation reported that Chatigny ordered attorneys for the Alliance Defending Freedom to use the term “transgender females” when referring to boys who identify as girls.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals initially ruled in favor of Connecticut’s policy in 2022, but has since said it would reconsider the case; it is pending.

The Movement Advancement Project analyzes transgender sports policies across the country. It says the nation is split on the issue.

It found that 24 states and two territories have policies that are fair or favorable to transgender athletes and 26 states and three territories have policies that are not.

ESPN has tracked transgender legislation and reported that 23 states had passed laws restricting transgender athletes’ ability to play sports since 2020.

In March, Democrats in the U.S. House introduced the Transgender Bill of Rights, a resolution that would “ensure” transgender athletes could participate in the sport of their choice. The Transgender Bill of Rights calls on the federal government to take action.

In April, Republicans in the U.S. House introduced House Resolution 734, the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act 2023.” It would ban boys, who call themselves transgender women, from playing in female sports. The House passed the bill; its road in the Senate is considered uphill with a Democratic majority in place.

In August, the North Carolina House and Senate overrode Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s veto and passed the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act. The law “prohibits male students from playing on middle school, high school, or collegiate athletics teams designated for females, women, or girls.” It also “requires a student’s sex to be recognized solely based on reproductive biology and genetics at birth for purposes of athletic participation.”

The U.S. Department of Education supports transgender athletes being able to play on the sports team gender in which they identify. The department says banning transgender athletes from playing on a sports team due to gender is discrimination.

Discussion of the issue escalated around Lia Thomas, a swimmer at Penn University who competed on the men’s team as William Thomas for three years. The athlete switched to Lia for a senior season, and was allowed by the university and the NCAA to compete in 2022.

Thomas was the first openly transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I national championship in 2022. Thomas was ranked 65th in the 500-meter freestyle in 2018-19, the last season Thomas swam for the University of Pennsylvania men’s team, according to Swimming World Magazine. Thomas won the NCAA championship in the women’s 500 freestyle in 2022 while competing for the Penn women’s team.

Other men competing in women’s categories have lifted visibility for events from volleyball, to weight lifting to cycling to running.

The website SheWon.org tracks “achievements of female athletes who were displaced by males in women’s sporting events” all over the world. As of Sept. 22, it had 608 entries.

A 2010 report conducted by authors affiliated with the Women’s Sports Foundation and The National Center for Lesbian Rights called concerns that transgender females playing female sports would dominate as “not well founded.” The report stated that “medically guided hormonal treatment prior to puberty” neutralized any advantage.

Thirteen years later, the polls, many women athletes and lawyers like Kiefer disagree.

In Michigan, the high school association states it will determine eligibility on a “case-by-case” basis. The Michigan High School Athletic Association does ask for documentation of a student’s medical and psychological records as well as whether they have undergone hormone therapy and gender-affirmation surgery.

In Ohio, the high school athletic association allows transgender athletes to compete for girls’ teams, but the athlete must be taking a medically prescribed hormone treatment related to gender transition and have completed a minimum of one year of hormone treatment. The athlete must also “demonstrate” to the high school athletic association that the athlete “does not possess physical (bone structure, muscle mass, testosterone, hormonal, etc.) or physiological advantages over genetic females of the same age group.”

The Women’s Sports Foundation and AthleteAlly.org didn’t respond to emails seeking comment.

MURDOCK: Current Conditions Revive MAGA Hopes of Catching Long-Awaited Red Wave

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) “Trump can win the primaries, but he can’t win the general election.”

NeverTrumpers have made this argument in anger, and some Trumpians have offered it in sorrow.

Even those who admire President Donald J. Trump and yearn for his America First policies to revive this gasping nation wonder if he can cross the finish line first on Nov. 5, 2024.

Thus, Trump foes are massively frustrated, and Trump fans are hugely encouraged, that he has soared against Joe Biden. Recent polls find Trump ready to trounce Biden at the next general election.

Sunday’s ABC News/Washington Post poll of 1,006 adults captured Trump at 52% and Biden at 42% among registered voters.

In terms of the popular vote, such a Trump re-election margin would land almost exactly halfway between Obama’s 52.9% triumph in 2008 and Biden’s 51.3% victory in 2020. This research was so painful to the Post that it smothered its own story in caveats and accused its survey team of incompetence.

“Trump’s lead in this survey is significantly at odds with other public polls that show the general election contest a virtual dead heat,” the Post self-flagellated. “The difference between this poll and others, as well as the unusual makeup of Trump’s and Biden’s coalitions in this survey, suggest it is probably an outlier.”

But the paper added, “In May, a Post-ABC survey found Trump with a six-point lead among registered voters, 49 percent to Biden’s 43 percent.”

Empathy for Trump grows as Democrat persecute him. Simultaneously, Biden’s popularity has slipped amid endless vacations, mounting gaffes, throbbing ethical headaches and public displays of disaffection toward such people as the 97 Maui residents whom a vicious wildfire incinerated.

No wonder Trump’s support has waxed by 3 percentage points while Biden’s has waned by 1 percentage point. Result: Trump 52%; Biden 42%.

“In the new poll, men favor Trump by 62% to 32%, a margin of 30 points,” the Post observed. “In May, Trump’s margin among men was 16 points.” So, 14 percentage-point higher approval among half the population should boost Trump by about 7%.

Meanwhile, the Post reports, “Among non-White voters, the poll finds Biden leads by nine points. In four other public polls, Biden’s lead among non-White voters ranges from 12 points to 24 points.”

In 2020, according to Edison Research’s exit poll, Biden beat Trump among Hispanics 65% to 32% (a 33% margin) and blacks 87% to 12% (a 75% shellacking.)

If Biden is ahead just 24% among non-whites, he is in trouble. If Biden sunk to the Post’s 9% reported advantage among voters of color, he should crawl into his Wilmington bunker and assume the fetal position.

Trump beats Biden in Key Swing States - Electoral College votes - Chart - September 28 2023
Trump is beating Biden in key swing states’ Electoral College votes.

The popular vote is interesting, but the Electoral College counts. Yet another survey should make Trump staffers throw their MAGA hats into the air.

“Trump held a small advantage in the seven states where the 2020 presidential election was closest: Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Nevada, and Michigan,” Reuters/Ipsos reported Sept. 15 after surveying 4,413 registered voters. “In those states, Trump led with 41% to Biden’s 35%, and 24% undecided.”

If Trump secures those battlegrounds, Biden is a dead man walking.

If these two split the other 44 states as in 2016, their respective victories would follow post-2020 Census reapportionment. Texas has added two electoral votes. Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina and Oregon each has gained one.

These states have lost one electoral vote each: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Ceteris paribus, Trump’s triumphs in these six swing states would transform the 45th President of the United States into America’s 47th chief executive, 312 to 226 for Biden. By my calculations, Trump’s victory would exceed Biden’s 306 to 232 showing in 2020.

Politically, November 2024 is 10 zillion light years away. Surprises will fill that void. But right now, Donald J. Trump looks not just electable but poised for a landslide.

Illegal Alien Coached Girl to Lie about Rape to Get Larger Hotel Room in NYC

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The 34-year-old illegal immigrant who was accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl at a Queens, New York City, hotel was released from police custody after the investigators revealed that the family told the girl to make up the story so that the family would take over the man’s larger room at the shelter.

Initially, it was indicated that the girl and her twin sister were playing in the hallway of the Hotel Mint JFK Airport in Far Rockaway around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday when a man convinced them to follow him to a room on the second floor, the New York Post reported.

The family also told the police that the man then placed a knife against the neck of one of the girls and touched her private area. The man jumped out the window when the twins’ mother knocked on the door.

The initial fake story also said that the accused man then walked back into the building through the lobby where he got into a fight with the older brother of twin sisters. After that, the police broke up the brawl and cuffed the then-suspected child molester.

The twins told the same story, which seemed overly rehearsed to the police.

The suspect denied the allegations and it was later revealed that he was telling the truth. The Post reported that video surveillance showed the suspect leaving the shelter around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday and not returning until nearly 11:20 p.m. — about two hours after the alleged crime.

In addition to that, the footage also doesn’t show anyone entering or leaving the room during that period.

When she was interviewed by the police, the man’s wife also admitted that that was the case, which resulted in the man being released from custody.

However, it was confirmed by the sources on Friday that a fight between the accused man and a relative of the twins over the room assignment did in fact happen.

A hotel employee, who was not on duty when the incident occurred, said that the accused illegal had been living in the hotel for 20 days and “never makes an issue.”

“I don’t know why you should accuse someone [for something that didn’t happen],” the worker said.
