White House Spox Loses It When Confronted Over Biden’s Health

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) During a tense press briefing on Monday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre found herself facing scathing questions from Fox News reporter Peter Doocy about polls indicating widespread concern over President Joe Biden’s declining health.

Doocy cited a Jan. 14 ABC News poll, revealing that a mere 28% of Americans believe Biden is mentally sharp enough to serve effectively as president, with a matching 28% expressing confidence in his physical health for the next four years.

“Karine, why do you think it is that more and more people pooled feel like, over time, President Biden is getting less and less mentally sharp?” Doocy queried, as seen in video shared by NewsBusters‘ Curtis Houck.

In response, Jean-Pierre claimed: “You know, I have to say that’s a little confusing for me, because if you look at what this president has done the last three years: historical pieces of legislation, right? When it comes to bipartisan infrastructure deal, many presidents before, like your favorite president had said that…”

Doocy interjected, “Who’s my favorite president?” To which Jean-Pierre retorted, “Why don’t we let the American people guess?”

“Let me finish. Let me finish. Let me finish. You asked me a question,” Jean-Pierre continued.

“I don’t understand what you’re getting at,” Doocy added.

Jean-Pierre later highlighted some of the legislations signed by Biden, including the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, as so-called examples of Biden’s sharpness.

“These are legislation [sic] that is going to have a difference for generations to come, right? And so this is something that this president has done,” Jean-Pierre claimed. “That’s pretty sharp for this president to have been able to do that.”

Despite these alleged victories, recent polls indicate Biden struggling, with many showing him trailing former President Donald Trump, the presumed Republican nominee.

The same poll highlighted by Doocy showed that 47% of respondents believe Trump has the mental ability to serve. Similarly, 57% of individuals said that physical health is necessary.

Biden Attacks Trump for Protecting Unborn Babies

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden has unveiled a campaign ad criticizing former President Donald Trump for his purported involvement in the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court case that infamously dubbed abortion as a federal right.

First reported by Fox News on Monday, the ad features Dr. Austin Dennard, a Texas-based OB/GYN, who claimed she was forced to travel out of state to obtain an abortion for her unborn baby with a fatal condition that offered “absolutely no chance of survival.”

“Having this beautiful, messy, chaotic, but wonderful family, it’s the joy of my life,” Dennard declared in the ad. ”I never thought that I would need an abortion for a planned pregnancy. But I did. Two years ago, I became pregnant with a baby I desperately wanted.”

Dennard accused the state of Texas of depriving women of the choice to end pregnancies like hers due to strict abortion laws following the overturning of Roe.

“The choice was completely taken away. I was to continue my pregnancy, putting my life at risk. It’s every woman’s worst nightmare, and it was absolutely unbearable,” she said, before hailing Biden: “We need leaders that will protect our rights, and not take them away. And that’s Joe Biden and [Vice President] Kamala Harris.”

Accompanied by images of Biden and Harris, the contentious ad concludes with a voiceover of Biden: “I’m Joe Biden and I approve this message.”

Roe, decided on Jan. 22, 1973, marked a victory in the pro-abortion movement, with the Supreme Court fabricating a constitutional right to abortion. The case triggered decades-long battles over the right to life and what Democrats have conveniently termed as “women’s reproductive” right.

However, on June 24, 2022, in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Court’s conservative majority — Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett — ruled that the Constitution does not guarantee a federal right to abortion, returning the power to the states.

Notably, Kavanaugh, Barrett and Gorsuch, all appointed by Trump, played key roles in the decision to overturn Roe, seen as a significant victory for the Trump administration.

The Biden campaign have seized on the pro-life victory to portray Republicans as so-called “extremist.”

In a statement released on Monday, Biden claimed: “Fifty-one years ago today, the Supreme Court recognized a woman’s constitutional right to make deeply personal decisions with her doctor—free from the interference of politicians.”

On other hand, Trump has long campaigned on his pro-life record, often hailing his Supreme Court nominees.

WHO Commies Want Countries to Prepare for Upcoming ‘Disease X’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) During the latest World Economic Forum gathering, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus called on countries to sign on to the health organization’s pandemic treaty so the world would be prepared for “Disease X.”

It was also very convenient that the far-left elites started talking about the virus that is “20 times deadlier than COVID-19” right at the beginning of the 2024 election, according to Fox News.

Ghebreyesus, who spoke in front of an audience in Davos, Switzerland, on Jan. 17, 2024, said that he hoped countries would reach a pandemic agreement by May of this year to address this “common enemy.”

A 2022 WHO press release revealed that the communists have been preparing for the 2024 election since 2017 when they added the virus to the WHO’s short list of pathogens for research, adding that “Disease X” could cause a “serious international epidemic.”

Ghebreyesus then explicitly said that COVID-19 was specifically designed as “the first Disease X,” then adding that it is important to prepare for another “pandemic” that is supposed to affect the upcoming election.

“There are things that are unknown that may happen, and anything happening is a matter of when, not if, so we need to have a placeholder for that, for the diseases we don’t know. We lost many people [during COVID] because we couldn’t manage them. They could have been saved, but there was no space. There was not enough oxygen. So how can you have a system that can expand when the need comes?” he said.

After that, Ghebreyesus said that a shared response via the treaty would help the world better react to another planned outbreak.

“The pandemic agreement can bring all the experience, all the challenges that we have faced and all the solutions into one. That agreement can help us to prepare for the future in a better way. This is a common global interest and very narrow national interests should not come into the way,” he said.

Google Floods Its News Service w/ Nonsensical AI-Generated Articles

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was recently reported that one of the Big Tech giants, Google, is now boosting nonsense AI-generated articles that are ripping off other outlets on its Google News service.

According to a report by 404 Media, if the company is not purposefully clogging the internet with the garbage content that is made by AI, it is a sign that Google’s black box algorithms can be gamed by scheming profiteers.

While the rip-off articles that are generated by AI make their way into Google News results, the tech giant agrees with this approach by saying that it is not concerned about whether a human being or AI writes an article.

In addition to that, the tech company informed 404 Media that while it tries to counter spam on Google News, it doesn’t focus on how an article is created.

This attitude paved the way for more news articles that are generated by AI to reach the top of search results and, therefore, accidentally be viewed by readers and wrongfully perceived as content that was authentically created by humans.

AI-generated news articles on Google News signal that “the black box nature of Google News, with entry into Google News’ rankings in the first place an opaque, but apparently gameable, system,” the news source wrote.

The outlet also added that Google “may not be ready for moderating its News service in the age of consumer-access AI, where essentially anyone is able to churn out a mass of content with little to no regard for its quality or originality.”

“I want to read the original stories written by journalists who actually researched them and spoke to primary sources. Any news junkie would,” ghostwriter Brian Penny, who first flagged the AI-generated articles to 404 Media, said.

Breitbart previously reported that the ever-increasing presence and popularity of AI has been threatening multiple industries, with people fearing that it will take over and ultimately replace human beings with computer-generated content.

Barrett, Roberts Face Backlash for Decision Against Razor Wire at Border

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Critics have lambasted the Supreme Court for the controversial decision to grant an emergency request by the Biden administration related to razor wire placed by Texas authorities.

In a 5-4 Monday vote, the Court lifted an injunction order that had blocked Border Patrol from removing border barriers and entering areas designated by Texas authorities to control the flow of rampant illegal immigration affecting Texas.

Surprisingly, conservative Justices Amy Coney Barrett and John Roberts aligned with the court’s liberal minority to empower federal authorities in thwarting what Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has described as a tool to deter illegal aliens from freely crossing the southern border.

The order did not explain the justices’ rationale, allowing Border Patrol agents to cut through the wire as an appeals court hears the case. The Court could later hear the case.

Responding to the order, Andrew Mahaleris, a spokesperson for Abbott said that removing the wire makes the job of Texas officers more difficult.

“The absence of razor wire and other deterrence strategies encourages migrants to make unsafe and illegal crossings between ports of entry, while making the job of Texas National Guard soldiers and DPS troopers more dangerous and difficult,” Mahaleris said, according to the Texas Tribune.

“This case is ongoing, and Governor Abbott will continue fighting to defend Texas’ property and its constitutional authority to secure the border,” he added.

On Twitter, several individuals criticized the Court’s decision to block the injunction.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said, “Texas is trying to enforce our laws and uphold our sovereignty while the federal government is disregarding the law and ignoring its responsibility to protect our borders.”

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley highlighted Barrett’s and Roberts’s decision to join the liberal minority, a stark contrast to the harrowing picture painted by the left, which in recent years has called for packing the Court over claims of partisanship.

“[A]ll you hear from Democratic pundits and professors is the blind bias of the Court and its robotic majority. Conservative justices have repeatedly supported the Biden Administration or opposed Trump positions when they felt the law warranted such decisions,” Turley said.

Barrett and Roberts drew fire for siding with the minority in blocking the injunction:

Border Dem. Says There Must Be ‘Repercussions’ for Illegal Immigration

(Headline USA) Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, begged the Biden administration this week to guarantee “repercussions” for illegal immigration.

Cuellar, a border Democrat who was an outspoken critic of former President Donald Trump’s efforts to build a wall along the southern border, admitted that the current administration’s endless “catch and release cycle” was unsustainable.

“You got to have repercussions at the border,” he told Fox News. “The asylum law, the criteria for letting people in, can be adjusted.”

The Democrat also admitted that President Joe Biden’s decision not to deport illegal immigrants was making the border crisis worse.

“If you have in one year millions of individuals that are encountered, and then you let hundreds and hundreds of thousands of them in, that becomes the pull factor,” Cuellar said. “That catch and release … is the pull factor.”

Cuellar also blasted the Biden administration for not working to expedite the asylum claims process and instead allowing millions of illegals to remain in the country and sit in a backlogged system.

“Why are we allowing hundreds of thousands of them in when, at the end of the day, most of them are going to be rejected?” he asked.

Biden himself admitted last week that the southern border is not secure, though he refused to accept blame for that fact.

“No, it’s not,” Biden said when asked by a reporter whether the border is secure after he gave remarks before a bipartisan group of mayors at the White House. “I haven’t believed that for the last 10 years, and I’ve said it for the last 10 years. Give me the money.”

Homeland Defense Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas previously admitted that any additional funding allocated for border security would not be used for deportations but rather to assist further in processing illegals.

The White House has routinely blamed congressional Republicans for the border crisis even though the GOP passed legislation last year that would have addressed it. Because the bill did not include amnesty, Senate Democrats and Biden declared it “dead on arrival.”

In-N-Out to Close Oakland Location Due to Rampant Crime

(Headline USA) In-N-Out Burger’s only location in Oakland, Calif., announced this weekend that it would be closing its doors due to rampant crime.

The fast food joint is one of the only burger spots still turning a profit and has been in the community for 18 years. But continuing operations has become untenable, according to In-N-Out CEO Denny Warnick.

“Despite taking repeated steps to create safer conditions, our Customers and Associates are regularly victimized by car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies,” Warnick wrote, according to CBS East Bay.

“This location remains a busy and profitable one for the company, but our top priority must be the safety and wellbeing of our Customers and Associates—we cannot ask them to visit or work in an unsafe environment,” he added.

Workers at Oakland’s In-N-Out can either transfer to another one of the company’s fast-food restaurants or accept a severance package, according to the company.

“We are grateful for the local community, which has supported us for over 18 years, and we recognize that this closure negatively impacts our Associates and their families,” Warnick wrote.

The location will shut down for good in March, Warnick added.

Data released by the Oakland Police Department showed violent crime in the area has skyrocketed over the past couple of years. From 2022 to 2023, for example, robberies increased by 38% and motor-vehicle theft spiked by 44%.

Since 2019, Oakland police have recorded 1,335 incidents just in and around the fast-food restaurant.

One In-N-Out customer told CBS that carjackers tried to steal his car while he was inside the restaurant’s dining room.

“They were trying to steal my vehicle, but I had a kill switch on,” said Jan Bundy, a lifelong Oakland resident. “So they couldn’t get my vehicle, but they took all my belongings out.”

Charlamagne Tha God: Biden Will Lose Black, Working-Class Voters over Border Failure

(Headline USA) Radio host Charlamagne Tha God admitted last week that black and working-class voters were ditching President Joe Biden over the illegal immigration crisis, the New York Post reported.

The Democrat (real name: Lenard McKelvey) also acknowledged in an interview with Fox News that Republican governors’ strategy of shipping illegals to blue sanctuary cities was “effective” because “it made a lot of those Democrats start singing a different tune,”

He added, “And, I mean, the voters see that. So what does that look like to the voter? Just on the surface, it looks like Republicans were right about the issue and Democrats got it wrong.”

Biden, who has “never been a good candidate,” according to Charlamagne, has only exacerbated the issue by continuing to allow hundreds of thousands of border-hopping illegals into the country every month.

“I have the privilege of doing morning radio and speaking to working-class people every single day,” Charlamagne told Fox News.

“I have the privilege of being involved in my community from New York to New Jersey to South Carolina, where I get to look people in the eyes and have real conversations with them,” he continued. “And, you know, people are really concerned about this issue.”

Charlamagne said immigration is the number one issue that listeners bring up again and again.

“I honestly have never spoken to as many people who are concerned about the migrant issue as I have over the past year,” he explained. “[Biden] is the president of the United States of America. If he can take credit for the good things that happen in this country, he has to take credit for the bad as well because those things happen on his watch.”

Until Biden starts to take action on the border, his support among key demographics will continue to fall, Charlamagne warned.

“Democrats shouldn’t just be concerned about the black vote, because when you look at the polls, he’s losing with black voters, he’s losing with Latinos, he’s losing with independents, he’s losing with the youth vote. It’s like, damn! Do y’all want to win or not? Because right now they don’t look like a winning ticket,” he said.

Woke ‘Star Trek’ Actor Is Latest to Learn of His Own ‘Racist’ Roots

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Woke black actor LeVar Burton found out on air Tuesday that he is the descendant of a white man who fought in the Confederate army, Fox News reported.

Burton—famous for portraying Geordi La Forge on the series Star Trek: The Next Generation and hosting the children’s show Reading Rainbow—learned of his “racist” past live on PBS’s Finding Your Roots.

Henry Louis Gates Jr., a historian and the host of the show, revealed to the black actor that he was descended from a white man named James Henry Dixon via his great-grandmother, Mary Sills.

“Were you expecting that? Did you have any idea you had a white, direct ancestor?” Gates asked.

“No! No, I had no idea,” Burton replied. “So Granny was half-White! Wow.”

Later on, Gates noted that Dixon, born in North Carolina in 1847, served as a reserve in the Confederate army as a teenager.

“Are you kidding me? Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I did not see this coming,” the defender of cancel culture lamented as he discovered his white heritage.

The news is made all the more ironic given Burton’s famous role in the 1977 miniseries, Roots, about a slave in the American South.

Upon being shown a photo of his great-great-grandfather, Burton said he would have “fought” Gates, the show’s host, if he had been told he had white ancestors without having been shown evidence.

The actor then got emotional, talking about the “conflict roiling inside of me” and the “pathway opening up.”

The longtime activist also said he would use his newfound heritage to engage in race politics.

“I’ve been looking for an entry point to talk to White America,” he said. “Here it is.”

Some on Twitter pointed out that the conflicted Burton should have to pay reparations to himself, being a descendant of both slaveholder and enslaved.

“How much does he owe himself in reparations?” mused anti-woke Dilbert creator Scott Adams.

One of S.C.’s Bachelor U.S. Senators Just Got Engaged

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) After proposing on Kiawah Island, Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., announced his engagement to his now-fiancée, interior designer Mindy Noce, in a Twitter post on Sunday.

The announcement leaves fellow South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham, 68, as the chamber’s most eligible bachelor.

“She said YES. Mindy, thank you for making me the luckiest man in the world,” Scott wrote, before quoting the book of Proverbs. “‘He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord’ – Proverbs 18:22.”

Scott, 58, previously described Noce, 47, as “a lovely Christian girl,” and mother of three whom he met through a friend at his church.

Many people responded with congratulations and well-wishes for the couple, but some speculated that Scott, who endorsed former President Donald Trump on Friday, may be attempting to position himself as a more viable candidate for the vice presidency.

“Congrats! Getting your resume ready for the VP pick, I see!” said Twitter user Kris Singh.

Scott’s endorsement of the GOP frontrunner over his former political ally and fellow South Carolinian, ex- Gov. Nikki Haley, notched a big win for the Trump team ahead of the South Carolina GOP primary, which will take place on Feb. 24.

He was one of several major endorsements Trump collected over the weekend while campaigning in New Hampshire, where the race is now down to just Trump and Haley, his former United Nations ambassador.

On Saturday, South Carolina’s current governor, Henry McMaster, joined Trump onstage, along with a slew of other statewide leaders from the Palmetto State in what was sure to be a psychological blow for Haley ahead of Tuesday’s contest.

On Sunday, second-place Iowa finisher Ron DeSantis, the popular Florida governor, dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump.

New York Rep. Elise Stefanik and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who also recently exited the race, have also joined him in New Hampshire as both, like Scott, vie for his favor in the vice-presidential sweepstakes, which Trump claims has already been largely decided.

Scott, the longest-serving black lawmaker currently in the U.S. senate and only one who is Republican, was first appointed to the spot by Haley in 2012 after Sen. Jim DeMint retired to become president of the Heritage Foundation.

He failed to get the sort of traction he’d hoped for in his own presidential run last year, suspending his campaign in a surprise November announcement.

The decision followed shortly after several of Scott’s donors threatened to suspend their funding due to his perceived single status, although Scott had insisted he was dating.

To quell pernicious rumors about his sexuality, he brought Noce onstage following one of the GOP primary debates.

He claimed they had been dating for “about a year or so” at that point.

Scott dropped out of the presidential race shortly three days after introducing Noce.

Some on Twitter continued to accuse Scott of being gay, in spite of his engagement announcement.

“Tim the campaign is over you don’t have to pretend to be straight anymore my friend!” one user said.

“Congrats, Tim! We all thought you were gay!” said user Alex Cole.

Some also questioned Noce’s past, as court documents discovered by the Daily Mail revealed that she and her ex-husband, Peter “Jay” Noce previously hid her assets to avoid liability over a tech deal gone wrong.
