‘How Can You Not Hit That?’ Wade’s Rancid Interview on Willis Affair

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Nathan Wade, the disgraced former Fulton County prosecutor, spoke candidly about his affair with District Attorney Fani Willis during a rancid interview on The Daily Show on Comedy Central.

Interviewed by comedian Marlon Wayans, in character as Quan, Wade faced a barrage of sarcastic yet probing questions. The Media Research Center transcribed the interview, highlighting its contentious nature.

Wayans asked the former prosecutor involved in the Georgia case against former President Donald Trump, “How can you not hit that? How can you not? We spending that much time together, we doing everything, we might as well!”

Wade is currently on a media tour seemingly seeking to rehabilitate his disgraced image after being exposed for his affair with Willis while both led criminal charges against Trump.

Trump and his co-defendants cited conflicts of interest as a reason to dismiss both prosecutors and throw out the case.

The presiding judge, Scott F. McAfee, ruled that for the prosecution to continue, Wade needed to quit the case. He complied, but the scandal persisted as the case is currently paused pending an appeal by Trump.

Earlier in the Comedy Central interview, Wayans asked Wade, “What was your first thought when you had the affair with Fani become public between you and here?”

Defending himself, Wade claimed, “I don’t label it an affair. D.A. Willis is a respectable mother, a brilliant legal mind. We spent countless hours preparing this case, investigating this case.”

Wayans, maintaining his Quan character, responded, “I see it all happen, countless hours, and I need a foot rub, and, you know what I mean? She rubbed your foot like, ‘Here, let me give you a massage’ and all of a sudden we up on this desk.”

Wade deflected, retorting, “No. Not even close. Not even close. Not even close.”

When asked whether Wade or Willis initiated the affair, he added, “That’s a great question, right, so during the course of the investigation we would meet early mornings, weekends, spend full days.”

Failing WaPo Newsroom Revolts Against Rupert Murdoch-Linked CEO Sent to Rebrand

(Headline USA) Newly appointed leaders of the Washington Post were being haunted by their pasts, with ethical questions raised about their actions as journalists in London.

The attack by leftist newsroom journalists marks the latest attempt by legacy media to lash out as their business model fails following several years in which Trump Derangement Syndrome has led media consumers to question their credibility.

But even as readers and viewers flock elsewhere for their information, stalwarts in the press refuse, having abandoned their former commitment to objectivity, truth-seeking and other ethical principles, find themselves in a Lord of the Flies-type free-for-all, ready to savagely cannibalize any who dare defy their radical dogma.

Enraged at the selection of a new publisher with ties to NewsCorp founder Rupert Murdoch whose dual objective might have been to rehabilitate the newsroom’s far-left bias and modernize its content-delivery platforms, journalists at the Post appeared to have teamed up with colleagues from other leftist outlets to undertake a smear campaign that would force the embattled executives to resign.

An extraordinary trio of stories over the weekend by the New York Times, NPR and the Post itself outline alleged involvement by Post publisher Will Lewis and Robert Winnett, his choice as a news editor, in wrongdoing involving London publications.

The Post said on Monday that it had brought back its former senior managing editor to oversee the newspaper’s coverage of the matter.

Lewis took over as publisher earlier this year, with a mandate to turn around the financially-troubled newspaper. He announced a reorganization earlier this month where the Post’s executive editor, Sally Buzbee, stepped down rather than accept a demotion.

The coverage revealed Lewis’s sensitivity about questions involving his role in a phone-hacking scandal that rocked the British press while he was working there. Lewis has maintained that he was brought in by Murdoch-owned newspapers to cooperate with authorities to clean up after the scandal.

Plaintiffs in a civil case have charged him with destroying evidence, which he has denied.

The public revelation of phone hacking in 2011 led to the closure of Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World tabloid and sparked a public inquiry into press practices that curbed some of the worst excesses.

The British press has long been considered freewheeling in its pursuit of scoops, willing to tolerate behavior frowned upon by its American counterparts.

For example, when Lewis and Winnett worked at the Daily Telegraph in 2009, they cooperated on stories about politicians’ extravagant expense-account spending. They paid for data that revealed the spending, a reporting practice that would be considered a substantial ethical breach in the U.S.

The Times reported on Saturday that both Lewis and Winnett worked on stories in the 2000s that appeared to be based on fraudulently obtained phone and business records.

Both the Times and Post reported on a 2002 story article about British politicians who had sought to buy a Mercedes–Benz vehicle, which they intentionally described as the “Nazi’s favorite limousine,” based on information obtained by an actor who had faked a German accent to call a manufacturer who gave it to him.

The Post story delved into Winnett’s relationship with John Ford, the actor whose “clandestine efforts” helped uncover stories that included private financial dealings by former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

He was allegedly adept in “blagging,” in which a person misrepresents themselves to persuade others to reveal confidential information. That’s illegal under British law unless it can be shown the actions benefit the public.

Headlined “Incoming Post editor tied to self-described ‘thief’ who claimed role in his reporting,” it was among the newspaper’s most popular stories on Monday. Winnett was chosen by Lewis to take over the Post’s main newsroom after the presidential election.

It was an unusually harsh story for a news organization to write about its own leadership. In announcing that Cameron Barr, who left his position last year, would supervise the reporting, the Post said that “the publisher has no involvement or influence on our reporting.”

Other editors, including Buzbee’s temporary replacement Matt Murray, will also look over stories produced by the media team.

NPR’s story details several of these issues, along with Winnett’s supervision—when he worked at the Sunday Times in London—of a reporter, Claire Newell, who was hired as a temporary secretary in the U.K. Cabinet office, giving her access to sensitive documents that made their way back to the newspaper.

The Post said Lewis declined comment on the stories. Winnett, a deputy editor at the Telegraph in London, did not comment on the three most recent stories, and a message to the newspaper by the Associated Press was not immediately returned on Monday.

The internal turmoil within the Washington Post forced billionaire owner Jeff Bezos to chime in on the new hires: “The world is evolving rapidly and we do need to change as a business,” stated Bezos in a memorandum to the newspaper on Tuesday.

“You have my full commitment on maintaining the quality, ethics, and standards we all believe in,” he added.

New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof wrote on X Monday. “Its leadership is now tainted in ways that are unrecoverable; time won’t heal the injury but let it fester,” referring to the Washington Post.

Lewis, a former publisher of the Wall Street Journal who is also vice chairman of the board at the Associated Press, has spent the past week trying to save his image and insist to Post staff members, that he is now in-charge of, that he understands and will live up to the ethical standards of American journalism.

The attacks on Lewis and Winnett seemed to mirror the newsroom revolt at leftist network CNN after CEO Chris Licht was brought in to repair its damaged image following the vendetta between his predecessor, Jeff Zucker, and then-President Donald Trump.

Zucker, who had worked with Trump when the latter stared on NBC’s The Apprentice may have had a personal grudge against him. For many of his on-air talent, however, and those behind the scenes, it translated into an ideological mission to actively push anti-Trump propaganda.

Licht promptly laid off several of the less credible personalities, such as Brian Stelter, and moved bombastic prime-time anchor Don Lemon to a platoon role on the network’s morning show alongside two female costars—until he, too, was fired.

Licht also brought on Chris Wallace, a Fox News star who had garnered a sterling reputation for his objective, news-like demeanor (perhaps because he was a liberal at an otherwise conservative network) to be the marquee name on a new streaming platform, and he encouraged a more moderate tone in coverage.

Unfortunately for the new CEO, the damage to CNN’s brand was not so easily repaired, and the shift wound up alienating the remaining viewers it did have. A final affront came when Licht invited Trump to participate in a town-hall event with new anchor Kaitlan Collins, herself an alumna of the conservative Daily Caller.

After Trump dominated the event, top leftist stars like Christiane Amanpour threatened to quit if Licht continued on as CEO.

Many smaller leftist sites, meanwhile, continue to fold, unable to reinvent themselves. After recently hiring a former New York Post editor in an effort to rehabilitate its brand, the far-left Daily Beast instead announced recently that planned major layoffs, with more than 70% of its staff expected to depart.

The far-left site Vice Media similarly declared bankruptcy recently, and Buzzfeed has faced major struggles as well.

In more traditional media, the Los Angeles Times and Sports Illustrated are among those that have suffered on the altar of wokeness.

Tranny White House Boob Flasher Arrested for Sexual Assault

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A transgender activist who ignited controversy during last year’s “Pride” month for inappropriately flashing prosthetic breasts at fellow revelers during a White House event has now been arrested for sexual assault, RVM News reported.

Rose Montoya has been accused by another transgender, Jesse Diamond—a biological female who identifies as a man—of sexual assault. Four others have also accused Montoya of sexual assault.

According to a Post Millennial report, Montoya’s abuse was ongoing. Diamond, going by the name “TransMuscleBear” suggested in a social media post that the alleged abuse was “nonstop for nearly a year,” and even led to Diamond attempting suicide.

“I attempted to end my life on more than one occasion due to how depressed I was from the trauma,” Diamond said. “After my third surgery, I went nearly two years without kissing or intimacy of any kind.”

Diamond went on to say that there were at least four other victims, and that Montoya had total control over the situation.

“I couldn’t run away if I tried & I couldn’t afford to stay anywhere else,” Diamond noted.

“If she [sic] continues to try to threaten me with legal action,” Diamond continued, “I have no issue presenting her confession to a judge + making it public record.”

Making matters even more bleak for Montoya, Diamond released images of an email that Montoya allegedly wrote, apologizing for the sexual assault.

“I’m really sorry I broke your trust and violated you,” Montoya reportedly wrote, concluding with shockingly vulgar remarks.

“I genuinely thought for a while that you were triggered by me simply having a phallus” Montoya added. “I thought maybe you’d like me more or want to be intimate with me if I had a vagina. That caused me so much pain and dysphoria. I now understand why you kept pulling away.”

@transjock @rosemontoya physically harmed me in a variety of ways while I was recovering from my surgeries. She also harmed @Elijah Alter She confessed to DV in an email sent from her official gmail account. Please help us hold her accountable for her actions!!! There are 3 other confirmed victims besides Elijah and I. We deserve justice and to live our lives in peace finally. Rose took away our sense of safety and comfort within the community. She is not an advocate for us; she is actively targeting men like me and Elijah. #transman #transwoman #ftm #mtf #t4t ♬ original sound – transjock

Montoya’s White House scandal raised provocative questions as to whether the artificial breasts of a transgender “woman” should be seen as obscene in the same way that authentic breasts would be.

However, for the Biden administration, which insisted that there was no difference between trans women and real women—and which had pledged to restore “decency” to the White House, it was one of several embarrassing situations that undermined that claim.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre relayed her consternation, calling it “unacceptable” and “disrespectful,” while also attempting to downplay the relationship between Montoya’s actions and the overall “Pride” celebration that the White House hosted.

Montoya apologized, suggesting that it happened in “a quick moment of. . . overwhelming trans joy.”

However, the activist also lashed back at critics and took the opportunity to point out that the breasts were not real to begin with.

Report: Psych Hospital Knew Trans Terrorist Fantasized about School Shooting

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The Tennessee Star published yet another bombshell report Wednesday on Nashville mass shooter Audrey Hale, this one revealing that Hale told healthcare workers at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital about “thoughts of killing Dad in and struggles with mental health.”

Additionally, Hale told psych workers about “recent thoughts of going into a school and shooting a bunch of people,” according to The Star, which cited an internal police report that described documents seized from Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Hale began receiving treatment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on April 23, 2001, when the shooter was just six years old.

The Star’s latest scoop shows that Nashville police may be investigating whether Hale confided to a VUMC staff member about violent fantasies.

That theory was also proffered earlier this month by Nashville radio host Brian Wilson.

“The ongoing [MNPD] investigation [into the Covenant killings] apparently focuses on the shooter’s therapist,” Wilson reportedly said.

“Metro Nashville Police Department is remaining silent on this, but sources familiar with the investigation confirm that search warrants were run on the home and office of the therapist in an effort to obtain notes of the therapy sessions with the Covenant School shooter,” he added.

“One source says detectives have evidence that the shooter told the therapist about fantasies that involved, among other things, killing her parents and carrying out a school shooting of some kind.”

The Star reportedly knows the identity of Hale’s healthcare providers, but has declined to publish that information on privacy grounds. One of the psychiatrists reportedly closed her practice just 86 days prior to Hale’s murderous March 27, 2023, attack.

Hale, a 28-year-old woman who was identifying as a man at the time of the mass shooting, gunned down three Christian children and three adults before being killed by law enforcement. In the subsequent investigation, officials discovered the manifesto in Hale’s apartment.

Public interest and concern over what drove the trans mass shooter’s rage has led to intensified calls for the release of the manifesto, which reveals in chilling details what Hale had planned.

Number of Americans Struggling Because of Higher Prices Grows

(Newly released polling data showed that a large percentage of Americans report that the recent spike in inflation is making it harder to make ends meet.

Monmouth University released a poll Wednesday showing 46% of Americans are “currently struggling to remain where they are financially.”

That figure is the highest point recorded by this pollster since President Joe Biden took office and far higher than during his predecessor’s term.

“In polls conducted between 2022 and 2023, this number ranged between 37% and 44%,” Monmouth said in its report. “In prior polls from 2017 to 2021, this sentiment was much lower at 20% to 29%.”

Prices have risen about 20% since the president took office, a huge increase across all kinds of goods and services. Now, inflation is rising much slower than the breakneck pace earlier in Biden’s term.

“Even with a declining inflation rate, prices continue to be much higher than they were four years ago,” Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute, said in the report.

“That’s the metric that has really mattered to many Americans over the past two years. Economic concerns may not be the top motivating factor for all voters but it defines the contours of this year’s election.”

However, prices continue to rise faster than economists would like. Inflation slowed last month, a reprieve after months of elevated inflation.

Whether that slowing is a blip on the radar or a turning point remains to be seen.

For now, Biden has to grapple with the major price increase during his term this election cycle.

The polling does show an equal percentage of Americans think either Biden or Trump cares about their economic woes.

“The overwhelming narrative is that a large segment of the American public feels it is financially behind the eight ball,” Murray said.

“It is true that voters who feel more comfortable with their economic situation are likely to support Biden.

But despite continued Democratic efforts to tout rosy economic indicators, the tactic of telling financially pessimistic voters they should feel differently does not appear to be working.”

The poll surveyed 1,106 adults from June 1 to June 6.

Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good in Va. Primary Cliffhanger w/ Trump-Backed Challenger

(Elias Irizarry, Headline USA) Republicans in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District headed to the polls Tuesday to vote for their next congressman in a highly contested election between incumbent Rep. Bob Good—the current chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, who had backed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president—and John McGuire, his Donald Trump-endorsed challenger.

Throughout the primary, the political infighting between the two conservative powerhouses made many uneasy, reluctant to take sides in the lose–lose dispute. And with the race shaping up to be a statistical dead heat, there appeared to be no immediate prospects for reconciliation.

By Wednesday afternoon, with all 24 precincts reporting, McGuire led Good by 309 votes or  0.49% of the total vote.

In elections where the margin of victory is less than or equal to 0.5% of the total vote, candidates may request a state-funded recount within 10 days after certification, according to Virginia law.

Good posted on X that the race remained too close to call, particularly with provisional and mail-in ballots still remaining to be counted. Vote-counting effectively came to a halt at midnight as Wednesday marked the beginning of the Juneteenth state and federal holiday.

According to the Virginia Public Access Project, voters will likely “be waiting until at least Friday for this race to be officially called.”

McGuire’s bid to unseat Good has brought about a great deal of acrimony within the GOP after Trump endorsed McGuire in retaliation for Good’s support of DeSantis during the Republican presidential primary earlier this year.

Trump stated in his endorsement of McGuire that Good had “turned his back on our incredible movement.”

Additionally, a leaked video showed Good’s support for DeSantis stemmed from Trump’s legal issues—describing it as “baggage” and hinting that voters would “regret” making Trump the nominee.

Good, however, holds one of the most conservative track records in Congress according to multiple tracking sites including the Institution for Legislative Analysis.

Good has touted his lifetime score of 100% with the Heritage Foundation and the American Conservative Union—an impressive feat at a time where many Republicans find themselves frustrated with establishment Republicans and “RINOs.”

Alongside Trump’s endorsement of McGuire, many Republicans have been forced to take sides in the bitter political dispute and break rank with Trump.

Most notably, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., and and former White House official Steve Bannon traveled to Virginia in support of Good’s re-election bid.

However, Marjorie Taylor Greene, who opposed the ousting of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, has been a vocal critic of Good and supporter of McGuire—having been the first member of Congress to endorse him.

Good has framed his challenger as part of former McCarthy’s “revenge tour” after Good became one of eight Republicans to support the ousting of McCarthy.

Some argued that Trump’s endorsement of McGuire had nothing to do with Good’s support for DeSantis but more to do with the ousting of McCarthy—whose PAC has been funding McGuire’s campaign.

“The problem with that lack of situational awareness is that Trump has supported people who endorsed DeSantis … just not the right wingers!” stated Daniel Horowitz, host of the Conservative Review podcast “He endorsed Laurel Lee against her challenger from the right.”

Supporters of Good also brought up Trump’s recent endorsement of Rep. Celeste Maloy, R-Utah, in her re-election bid against Green Beret Colby Jenkins. Maloy notably referred to Trump as a “dictator” after Jan. 6 in a 2021 interview.

Desperate Biden Pitches Backdoor Amnesty for Half a Million Illegals by End of Summer

(Headline USA) President Joe Biden is taking a desperate election-year step to offer amnesty to potentially hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants living in the U.S.

His latest political ploy follows an executive order in which Biden purported to crack down on the border crisis that his prior three-plus years of open-border policies actively supported and facilitated.

Biden’s handlers are now attempting to gaslight Americans into believing that he is proactively taking charge of the situation. However, experts contend that the order does little to address the actual issues and function effectively as a fig leaf to cover up the ongoing influx of illegals.

Nonetheless, left-wing activists have expressed their performative outrage at the idea that the Democrat administration would dare enforce the nation’s immigration laws, and to placate them, the White House must now do what it intended all along, by offering blanket amnesty to some half a million future Biden voters, despite having received no legislative authorization to do so.

The White House announced Tuesday that the Biden administration will, in the coming months, allow illegal who are married to U.S. citizens to apply for permanent residency and eventually citizenship, according to senior administration officials.

While those who entered illegally in Biden’s watch are ineligible, it sees targeted especially at the illegals who first received provisional amnesty under former President Barack Obama’s controversial Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy, which offered deportation protections and temporary work permits for young illegal immigrants.

To qualify for Biden’s plan, an illegal immigrant must have lived in the United States for 10 years as of Monday and be married to a U.S. citizen. If a qualifying immigrant’s application is approved, he or she would have three years to apply for a green card and receive a temporary work permit, shielded from deportation in the meantime.

About 50,000 illegal immigrant children with parents who are married to U.S. citizen could also potentially qualify for the process, according to senior administration officials who briefed reporters on the condition of anonymity.

There is no requirement on how long the couple must have been married, but no one becomes eligible after Monday. That means immigrants who reach that 10-year mark after Monday will not qualify for the program, according to the officials.

Senior administration officials said they anticipate the process will be open for applications by the end of the summer. Fees to apply have yet to be determined.

Biden will speak about his plans at a Tuesday event at the White House, which will also mark the 12th anniversary of the DACA program.

Democrats hope to sharply contrast Biden with presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and his campaign pledge to deport millions if he is reelected.

Trump has leaned into his immigration policies as Biden has faced criticism on his poor handling of immigration throughout his presidency. On Tuesday, Trump’s campaign accused the incumbent president of creating “another invitation for illegal immigration” with the new amnesty policy.

“Biden only cares about one thing—power—and that’s why he is giving mass amnesty and citizenship to hundreds of thousands of illegals who he knows will ultimately vote for him and the Open Border Democrat Party,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said.

Because the threat of a second Trump administration looms over Biden’s new policy, Tuesday’s actions will set off a monthslong sprint by leftist organizations to get as many illegal immigrants to apply for the program as possible.

Trump could dissolve the program if he is reelected, but immigrants who are granted the parole status would still be protected, and on the pathway to eventually vote.

Among advocates, , the, said Biden’s announcement would energize Latino communities to get out and support him.

“This is what our communities have needed to rally behind President Biden for reelection,” said open-borders activist Gustavo Torres.

Biden also planned to announce new regulations allowing certain illegals to qualify more easily for work visas, offering sturdier protections than the work permits currently granted by DACA, which faces ongoing legal challenges and is no longer taking new applications.

The policy would expand on authority used by presidents George W. Bush and Obama to allow “parole in place” for family members of military members, said open-borders activist Andrea Flores, a former policy adviser in the Obama and Biden administrations.

The parole-in-place process allows qualifying illegals to get on the path to U.S. permanent residency without leaving the country, removing a common barrier for those married to Americans.

The same radical leftists who were infuriated with Biden’s prior executive order and anti-open-border rhetoric praised the president on Tuesday.

“Many Americans would be shocked to hear that when a U.S. citizen marries an undocumented person, their spouse is not automatically eligible for citizenship,” said Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., who leads the Congressional Progressive Caucus. “Imagine loving someone, marrying them, and then still continuing to fear you would be separated from them.”

According to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, over 6 million illegals have entered the United States under the Biden administration. “That is more than the population of 33 different States in this country,” Abbott said in his January statement condemning Biden for his in-action at the border.

Want Reliable Money? Stop Trusting Central Bankers

(Jp Cortez, Sound Money Defense League) Author and historian Yuval Noah Harari recently commented that Bitcoin is a currency of “distrust,” emphasizing that “the preference for Bitcoin is based on distrust of human institutions.” He argues that “the whole purpose of money is to create trust between strangers,” enabling large-scale economic cooperation.

These musings may seem insightful, but they are completely incorrect.

This perspective misunderstands the function and history of money. Money’s whole purpose is to facilitate transactions between parties without requiring trust.

Before money, there was barter. In this system, multiple parties must have exactly what the other wants, at the same time, and in the right amount in order to transact. A small island economy could function this way: a couple of coconuts traded for fishing line, or a bushel of bananas in exchange for bamboo with which to build a shelter.

The effectiveness of the barter system breaks down as economies become more complex. Imagine that a farmer wants to buy a pair of boots, so he visits the town cobbler and tries to trade a dozen eggs in exchange. However, the cobbler doesn’t want eggs. The cobbler might want beef, but the farmer isn’t willing to slaughter his cow for boots.

The infeasibility of a moneyless society becomes evident as an economy grows. This issue, referred to as the “double coincidence of wants,” limits the scope of direct barter and highlights the importance and value of money.

One does not have to like, respect, or agree with a vendor to participate in economic transactions. One simply has to trust the money. Historically, gold and silver emerged not through government proclamation but by millions of market actors across the globe acting in their own best interests.

The global scarcity of gold, or silver, (or Bitcoin, to Harari’s point) makes it difficult to manipulate money buttressed by these assets. This difficulty in increasing the supply of money (in both human effort and dollar terms) is a necessary condition for sound money.

Holders of sound money can be confident that politicians won’t weaponize their money, and that central banks won’t debase, dilute, or inflate it into oblivion — not because government actors are known to be honest and truthful at all times, but because they can’t manipulate sound money, by design.

Inflation, an abnormal increase in the volume of money and credit resulting in a substantial and continuing rise in the general price level, undermines money’s role as a store of value and disrupts economic stability.

According to Austrian economists like Ludwig von Mises, Nobel-laureate Friedrich Hayek, and Murray Rothbard, money’s essential role is to facilitate trade independent of the need for “trust.”

This understanding stems from the inherent properties of money—durability, divisibility, stability of value, and fungibility—which ensure its acceptance and value without relying on trust in the other party. These characteristics allow for economic transactions between strangers, making money a cornerstone of a market economy.

Harari’s critique fails to acknowledge the problems inherent in central banking and fiat money, which do require trust in the exact same institutions that have frequently proven to be unreliable caretakers of America’s money.

For example, the Federal Reserve’s inflationist policies, particularly following the 2008 financial crisis and then set on hyperdrive during the COVID years, involved creating massive amounts of money out of thin air. This led to a massively devalued dollar, economy-wide distortions, and an increase in poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, and more.

Mises recognized the folly of central bank money creation, writing in Human Action, “There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion.” Monetary manipulation is the drug; recessions, depressions, and economic downturns are the economy trying to sober up.

Money in the U.S.

America’s founders understood the risks of a money backed by edict rather than sound money. That’s why the U.S. Constitution, in Article 1, Section 10, prescribes the use of gold and silver coins as money. These commodities have historically served as stable stores of value and mediums of exchange because of their resistance to arbitrary expansion by central authorities, thus maintaining their value over time.

Unsurprisingly, once the federal government eliminated the U.S. Dollar’s final tether to gold in 1971, deficit spending increased exponentially, and the purchasing power of the money fell dramatically.

Fortunately, state and federal lawmakers are working to fix this error.

In 2024 so far, more than 60 pro-sound money bills have been introduced across more than half of all states in the U.S.

In D.C., we’ve seen Rep. Mooney’s bill to exempt gold and silver from federal capital gains, Rep. Massie’s bill to End the Federal Reserve, and the most significant digital asset law in history in the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act.

These initiatives all point to a growing dissatisfaction with the actions of central monetary planners at the Federal Reserve and within the federal government. People want money that is stable, retains its purchasing power, and isn’t weaponized as a cudgel for political purposes.

Despite Harari’s pleas, the various government institutions and the sapiens who run them have shown that they can’t be trusted as stewards of America’s money.

Government institutions have no God-given claim to the trust of the people they represent, and these institutions themselves are solely responsible for the precipitous decline in the trust granted to them by citizens.

By restoring sound money principles, we eliminate the need for trust in central banks, ensuring more stable and predictable economic interactions over the long term.

FBI Wants 20 Years to Produce Records on Its Involvement w/ OKC Bombing

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) It’s been about nine years since Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records about a CIA asset and FBI informant who helped fund the Oklahoma City bombing, as well as for records about a neo-Nazi bank-robbery gang also involved in the attack.

Tired of waiting, Trentaudue sued the FBI over the matter in February, demanding the bureau to produce the 69,375 pages of documents that it’s holding. But now, the FBI wants to take another nearly 12 years to fork over those documents to him, which means that it would take at least 20 years for the bureau to comply with his initial FOIA request.

Such a slow production rate is unacceptable, Trentadue said in a Tuesday court filing.

“The FBI proposes to process these records/documents for release to Plaintiff in monthly increments of 500 pages over a period of 11.5 years!” he said.

“If the Court accepts the FBI’s proposed snail-pace processing of these materials, Plaintiff will be close to 90-years of age when he finally receives all of them,” he said.

“He has already waited almost a decade for these documents/records, with the FBI having made no effort during the interim to produce them, and should not have to wait another 11.5 years to receive them.”

Trentadue has been suing the U.S. government for OKC bomb-related records for nearly 30 years, ever since his brother was murdered in a federal penitentiary. The complex story of how the death of Trentadue’s brother relates to the OKC bombing can be read in this Mother Jones article.

Trentadue’s latest lawsuit seeks records on FBI informant and CIA asset Roger Moore (not the James Bond actor), and the bank-robbery gang, the Aryan Republican Army, which he says was an FBI front group.

According to Trentadue’s lawsuit, Moore was an FBI informant as part of the bureau’s 1980s- and early 90s-era Operation Punchout, which was designed to identify and apprehend surplus dealers that bought and sold government property stolen from Department of Defense facilities in Utah.

Furthermore, Moore build patrol boats for use by the US Navy in the Vietnam War, as well as speedboats for the CIA, according to Aberration in the Heartland of the Real—historian Wendy Painting’s PhD thesis-turned-book about OKC bomber Tim McVeigh.

As for the Aryan Republican Army, Trentadue believes that was an FBI front group that also helped fund the bombing.

Trentadue’s Tuesday filing elaborated further on the ARA’s connection to McVeigh.

“During 1993, 1994 and 1995, a gang known as the Aryan Republican Army or “ARA” robbed banks and armored cars in the mid-west. Timothy McVeigh participated in some of those robberies and is reported to have used money obtained from these crimes to help fund the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995,” he said.

“According to Peter Langan, several members of the ARA assisted McVeigh in carrying out the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building.”

No hearings have been set yet in Trentadue’s lawsuit.

‘Scientific’ Mag. Declares War on Homeschooling, Calls for Fed. Regulations

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Scientific American magazine urged the federal government to regulate homeschooling and suggested that parents of homeschooled children should “undergo a background check.”

The opinion was expressed in a June 17, 2024, newsletter, first citing the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) which shows that nearly three percent of American children — 1.5 million — were homeschooled in 2019, Breitbart News reported.

The leftists admitted in the newsletter that homeschooled children have excelled academically, using Hungarian mathematician Paul Erdős, who was homeschooled by his mother, as an example.

Nevertheless, they still think that homeschooling is bad for children.

“But most states don’t require the same assessment of homeschooled kids that are required for their public school peers. Parents are not required to have an education themselves to direct instruction,” the leftists said, adding that “in most states, no one checks to see that children are receiving an education at all” and that “in the worst cases, homeschooling can hide abuse.”

To solve the non-existent problem, the leftists who work at the magazine said that “homeschooling should be subject to some basic federal mandates” and that parents who homeschool their children “should be required to undergo a background check — the same as K-12 teachers.”

“Additionally, homeschool instructors could be required to submit documents every year to their local school district or to a state agency to show that their children are learning. Education is a basic right. We need to make sure kids have chances to investigate what makes them curious, study history and science and read,” the magazine’s editors stated.

However, data from NCES also showed that the reason why parents started to homeschool their children was because they wanted to combat toxic school environments and a lack of moral instruction.

It was reported that 80% of parents who homeschool their children said that they homeschool because they don’t want their children to be a part of a typical school environment, such as the lack of safety, drugs, negative peer pressure and other issues.

In addition to that, 75% of parents said they want to provide moral instruction to their kids. Another 75% said they want to emphasize family life together. Fifty-nine percent of parents said they want to provide religious instruction.
