MURDOCK: ‘Pro-Democracy’ Democrats Tell 14.3M Dem. Voters to Drop Dead

(Deroy Murdock, Headline USA) Top Democrat officials and pundits are demanding that President Joe Biden surrender his driver’s license after he totaled the campaign bus during his June 27 debate with President Donald J. Trump.

    • “I am hopeful that he [Biden] will make the painful and difficult decision to withdraw,” Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, stated Tuesday. “I respectfully call on him to do so.”
    • “We all saw what we saw,” said Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Pérez, D-Wash. “Biden is going to lose to Trump.”
    • The Chicago Tribune editorialized that Biden “should announce he will be a single-term president who now has seen the light when it comes to his own capabilities.”
    • Biden’s continued candidacy “would be an act not only of self-delusion but of national endangerment,” warned New Yorker editor David Remnick.
    • Mark Liebovich’s concurring opinion in The Atlantic is headlined: “Time to go, Joe.”

These same Democrats shriek, “DEMOCRACY!” more often than parrots screech about crackers. Now, they tell Democrat primary voters: “Drop dead.”

Those pushing Biden to scupper his re-election bid have no respect for the Americans who awarded him the Democrat nomination.

“The bedwetting brigade is calling for Joe Biden to ‘drop out,’” deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty complained in a post-debate communiqué.

“Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, period. End of story,” Flaherty added. “Voters voted. He won overwhelmingly.”

Biden secured his party’s nomination in epic fashion:

    • He scored 14,324,396 primary votes, or 87% of those cast. In second place, Uncommitted took 703,897 votes, as 4.3% of primary participants expressed their displeasure with his policies on Gaza. And Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., won 525,408 votes, 3.2% of total.
    • Biden controls 3,894 delegates; 98.9% of those who will convene in Chicago in August are pledged to Biden. Thirty-six are Uncommitted, and Phillips wields four delegates. Perhaps he will take them to dinner.
    • Biden dominated 56 of 57 primaries, caucuses, and other contests. True, Jason Palmer gained 20,926 votes and all three of American Samoa’s delegates, but Biden pocketed every other state and territory.

Fully 14.3 million primary voters picked Biden for four more years, yet Democrats are plotting and planning in broad daylight to catapult him into the Chesapeake. As they perpetrate this treachery, they claim that Trump threatens “our democracy.”

Psychological projection rarely gets worse.

Biden spent 48 years climbing from the Senate to the vice-presidency and then the Oval Office. If he wants to fight for this job, no one can stop him. If the “party elders” drive to the White House and tell him to stand down, he has every right to give them five seconds to scram before he directs the Secret Service to speed them back to Pennsylvania Avenue.

If Biden did step aside, Vice President Kamala Harris occupies the on-deck circle for the nomination.

Her epic fail as Border Czarina, ceaseless giggles, and side hustle as White House word-salad chef all would endure immediate Trump/GOP bombardment.

Harris’s poll numbers have tended to lag Biden’s. So, making her standard bearer would buy Democrats little to nothing.

But what if top Democrats tried to hand the nomination, like an orb and scepter, to a wealthy, white, male heterosexual, such as Gov. Gavin Newsom of California? Newsom would uncheck every box that the Equity crowd worships.

Black women, the cornerstone of the Democrat base, would not be amused.

“You’ve got to build consensus, and there is not consensus right now,” California delegate Areva Martin, a black woman, said on Stephen A. Smith’s iHeart podcast.

“You pick a white man over Kamala Harris—black women, I can tell you this: We’re gonna walk away,” she added. “We’re gonna blow the party up.”

Whatever Biden and his colleagues decide to do, there is no escaping an unnamed Democrat operative’s conclusion, as the Committee to Unleash Prosperity reported Tuesday: “These have been the worst four days for the Democratic Party since Lee surrendered at Appomattox.”

NYC Hamas Supporters Burn U.S. Flags on July 4th

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Pro-Hamas protesters took to the streets of New York City on July 4, 2024, not to celebrate the Independence Day of the United States but to do the opposite by calling for revolution and burning an American flag in Washington Square Park, according to many viral videos.

The videos that were posted on Twitter by @ScooterCasterNY showed the chaotic scenes from terrorist-supporting activists’ rally on Independence Day in the far-left city.

Protesters began their gathering in Washington Square Park for their “Flood July 4th for Gaza!” as a large crowd was seen waving Palestinian flags and chanting “Shut it down!”

Some of the activists were even confronted by a bystander calling for them to “leave the country” if they hated the United States so much. The protesters began to shout “Free, free Palestine!” A clip then showed an American flag lying on the pavement with a flyer showing both Donald Trump and Joe Biden with the slogan “Death to all kings” written above both of these men.

The Jew-haters then burned the flag and flyer with other radicals around the burning flag chanting and taking pictures of what was happening.

Disney, WaPo, Others Betray Biden After Debate, ‘I’m a Black Woman’ Remarks

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) After Joe Biden reminded everyone that he was not fit to stay in the Oval Office for another four years, many Democratic donors, the mass media and even people who work with Biden in the White House stabbed him in the back by saying he needs to leave the presidential race.

Among the top Democratic donors who said that Biden should leave the presidential race was Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings, Blaze Media reported.

“Biden needs to step aside to allow a vigorous Democratic leader to beat Trump and keep us safe and prosperous,” he said.

Abigail Disney also decided to stop financially supporting Biden for the same reason.

“[Democrats] will not receive another dime from me until they bite the bullet and replace Biden at the top of the ticket. Biden is a good man who has served his country well, but the stakes are far too high to allow timidity to determine our course of action,” she said.

The editorial board of the Washington Post also wrote a hypothetical speech for Biden, during which he would’ve dropped out of the race.

“What if Biden spoke these words?” was released by the propaganda source on July 3, 2024, right before Independence Day.

“I have decided to withdraw from the campaign for president of the United States,” the editorial board wrote in the hypothetical speech.

People who currently work at the White House also expressed their desire to see Biden leave the race because, according to them, it feels like the famous comedy Weekend at Bernie’s, in which a family pretended to keep their dead uncle alive through a getaway weekend, Trending Politics reported.

“Everything else feels like Weekend at Bernie’s by his inner circle to prop him up,” the anonymous staffer said.

On July 4, 2024, he was allowed to show that he is more than a senile old man not fit for office during an interview on the black Philadelphia radio station 96.1FM and it didn’t go well.

“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, the first black woman to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved as the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, together, there’s nothing — look. This is the United States of America,” he said.

Hunter Biden Joins West Wing Meetings, Doesn’t Trust Father’s Aides

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Hunter Biden has been joining West Wing meetings with his father since he returned to the White House on July 1, 2024, as the senile old man faces pressure to leave the presidential race so that Democrats would choose someone else as the party’s candidate.

The infamous 54-year-old son of Joe Biden who was convicted on June 11, 2024, of three federal gun felonies and is scheduled for a second federal trial on Sept. 5, 2024, for $1.4 million in alleged tax fraud, supports his 81-year-old father running for reelection, the New York Post reported.

The Biden family blamed longtime advisers for Biden’s disastrous performance during the latest presidential debate.

“Hunter doesn’t trust [his father’s old guard of aides]. I think Hunter wants to be there, and POTUS isn’t going to say no,” one of the Post’s sources said.

It wasn’t clear what Hunter’s role has been in informing official and political decision-making, the news source wrote.

“What the h*ll is happening?” aides reacted to Hunter “popping” into multiple meetings and phone calls, according to one of the sources.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to say that Hunter would be participating during meetings only temporarily on July 1, 2024, after Hunter joined a meeting the same day preparing for an evening speech on a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity. Another source informed the news source that Hunter was again spotted in the West Wing on July 2, 2024.

On July 1, 2024, Hunter “came back with [Joe]” from a long weekend at Camp David and “walked with him into that meeting, that speech prep and he ended up spending time with his dad and his family that night,” Jean-Pierre said, without addressing Hunter’s being present in the White House the next day.

Instead of admitting that Joe is too old and senile to run for office again, the Biden family blamed longtime advisers for his poor performance during the debate. Among those were former White House chief of staff Ron Klain, senior adviser Anita Dunn and personal attorney Bob Bauer, multiple press reports stated.

Woman Dies after Being Shoved in Front of San Francisco Train

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A 74-year-old woman, Corazon Dandan, died afterbeing pushed in front of a Bay Area Regional Transit train late Monday night, according to NextShark.

Police arrested Trevor Belmont, 49, at the scene for allegedly pushing Dandan on the tracks of the BART train at the Powell Street Station in San Francisco.

Dandan reportedly hit her head on the platform after Belmont’s push; passers by called an ambulance and authorities rushed her to San Francisco General Hospital where she passed soon after.

Authorities reported that Belmont was a homeless man who was the focal point of over 20 crimes in San Francisco since 2013.

“This is an active investigation. BART PD is interviewing witnesses and processing evidence,” said the transit agency’s investigative arm in a statement.

“The investigation includes the review of surveillance video,” it added. “Investigators are still working to determine a motive for this incident.”

Ridership on the BART train dropped as concerns surrounding safety of the train rose. The BART police report showed an increase in violent crime and higher arrest rates.

Arrests on the BART increased 62% from 2022 to 2023.

Another survey by the Bay Area Council found that 45% of people surveyed chose not to ride the BART because they are concerned about safety.

The department said they planned to increase officer presence by recruiting more officers and increasing their circulation on the system.

The BART police force is known for their progressive policing efforts. They are not armed.

Los Angeles implemented a similar, city-wide “Unarmed Response Program” in order to curb violent police confrontations in 2021.

Dandan was a telephone operator at the Westin St. Francis and several other hotels; she did not have to work, but chose to because she enjoyed her job.

Her neighbors described her as “friendly,” “kind” and said she would often share her vegetables with them.

Driverless Car Accused of Trying to Flee Police after Swerving into Oncoming Traffic

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In a bizarre series of events a police officer in Phoenix, Arizona, had to chase down a lawbreaking self-driving car, which went headlong into oncoming traffic, Fox 10 Phoenix reported.

On June 19, camera footage reveals a police officer pulling over a driverless Waymo car in Phoenix.

In footage from the police officer’s body camera that was posted to Twitter, a passerby can be heard approaching the officer, asking him about the incident.

“I couldn’t help but come over here just out of morbid curiosity,” the citizen said. “I thought maybe there was a passenger.”

The officer, who was connected by the car to a service representative, noted that the car “was going eastbound in the westbound lanes, which is real bad.”

He also said that the car tried briefly to get away from him once he initiated the stop. “I light it up and it takes off in the intersection,” he said.

The company responded with a statement, claiming that the car’s illegal maneuvers were done in the interest of safety.

“Waymo cars are better drivers than humans and are three-and-a-half times more likely to avoid crashes,” the company said in a statement.

Defenders of the malfunctioning vehicle claimed that the car was thrown off by unclear construction signage.

According to the Phoenix PD, Waymo cars can be cited, and the company fined, but it does not happen with much frequency.

“Waymo also makes it very easy for law enforcement to simply press the help button, and get connected immediately to a 24/7 service member that will be able to talk them through moving the vehicle off the road, finding the insurance information, and whatever information the officer needs for their investigation,” Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower said.

The cars are reportedly able to detect emergency vehicles, and pull over to the side of the road.

N.C.’s Unanimous New Law a Valuable Tool in Reducing Sex-Trafficking Demand

() Making solicitation of prostitution a felony and enhanced training requirements are key ingredients to the North Carolina legislation helping combat human trafficking.

Lawmakers directed the Department of Labor to increase awareness, and the Department of Social Services is required to expand training available to county Social Services departments.

NC Stop Human Trafficking, led by Pam Strickland, is pleased with the law’s implementation and hopes even more can be done, such as being specific to require all county DSS employees attend and be evaluated on their comprehension.

Passage was 42-0 in the Senate and 114-0 in the House of Representatives. Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper affixed his signature Friday.

“Because solicitation of prostitution has historically been a misdemeanor, law enforcement has lacked incentive to pursue that charge,” Strickland told the Center Square.

“As NC Stop Human Trafficking has discussed the issue of charging sex buyers with law enforcement agencies across the state, many of them have the same position,” she continued. “The reverse sting operations necessary to arrest sex buyers are extremely expensive—requiring many hours of planning and training and extra layers of personnel for safety of the officers involved.”

And, when the operation is successful, the net gain is “a handful of misdemeanors that will often be reduced or dismissed,” she said.

Some agencies believe it worth the cost, others do not.

“When law enforcement personnel, district attorneys and judges have been educated about this change,” Strickland said, “we expect that the number of charges for the purchase of sex will increase dramatically.”

Also in the new law, child custody hearings do require disclosure of criminal history. That includes being forthcoming if convicted of sexual violence, human trafficking or the sexual exploitation of a minor, or if denied custody of any minor child previously.

Since the beginning of the long session in January 2023, a legislative team from within the 4-year-old North Carolina Demand Reduction Task Force has implored lawmakers on Jones Street for change. The task force itself is a collaboration of NC Stop Human Trafficking, Shield NC, and Legacy of Hope International.

“Reducing the demand for commercial sex is the most effective strategy for reducing sex trafficking,” Strickland said. “One tactic to reduce demand for commercial sex is to increase the possibility of legal consequences for sex buyers. The new law is a valuable tool in the demand reduction arsenal.”

House Bill 971 requires lodging establishments to require staff training on how to identify potential human trafficking victims, and how to report situations in real time to local law enforcement or the National Human Trafficking hotline. That number is to appear in a place conspicuous to the public and employees.

Also in the new law, viewing pornography on government networks and devices is prohibited.

Strickland said with that, however, is disappointment on a lack of consequences—up to an including termination of employment.

“In the case of elected officials,” she said, “the offense should be made public, so that the votes can determine the consequence.”

Victims’ rights are also in the law’s language.

Strickland said, “NC Stop Human Trafficking is pleased that the General Assembly passed H971 to protect the privacy of victims of human trafficking and their families by not making their personal information a matter of public record. The statute requires victims or their guardians to file a motion for victim confidentiality.”

North Carolina was ninth in 2021 incidents in the 2022 report of the National Human Trafficking Hotline. There were 922 signals received, 318 from victims or survivors.

North Carolina had the ninth-greatest number of unaccompanied alien children, primarily arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, from the total 21,772 since fiscal 2015.

North Carolina’s placement among other states for trafficking of humans and sex is considered enhanced by the major interstates crossing and their proximity to the state’s six major military bases.

The 2,555-mile Interstate 40 runs from Wilmington to Barstow, Calif.; and I-95 runs through the heart of the east in its 1,919-mile layout from Miami to the Canadian border in Maine. Major interstates 85, 77, 74, 40 and 26 complement them.

The six major bases include the U.S. Army’s Fort Liberty and Pope Air Force Base, both in the southeastern part of the state; Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in eastern North Carolina; and U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River along the coast, not more than an hour’s drive from the more inland MCAS Cherry Point.

There are also two U.S. Coast Guard bases along the northern coast at Elizabeth City; and the Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point on the southern coast in Brunswick County.

Chicago Alderman Pushes Harsher Penalties for Crimes Committed Wearing Facemasks

() With violent crime like robberies sharply on the rise over the past year, a Chicago city council member is sponsoring an ordinance that would mean enhanced penalties for individuals convicted of crimes while wearing masks.

Just four years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic, masks were required by local officials. Illinois’ indoor mask mandate was lifted in February 2022.

Overall, violent crimes were up by nearly 8% over the last year, with robberies, including an influx of coordinated sprees, accounting for more than 37% of all reported incidents.

At the same time, arrest rates for such crimes dropped to a five-year low of just 10.8%. Criminals in some of the crimes captured on surveillance video wore masks.

The Democratic National Convention is just weeks away from descending on the city’s downtown area with an expectation of large protests. The convention begins Aug. 19.

Chicago Ald. Raymond Lopez has a proposal to enhance penalties for those wearing masks committing crimes that would apply to both serious crime and minor infractions such as trespassing and blocking the public way.

“Everyone wearing masks while taking over communities is what political extremists want to protect. Not you or your neighbors,” Lopez wrote on X.

Not all council members are embracing Lopez’s plan as the best course of action.

“It has its merits, but at the same time this is something that’s really going to affect the black and brown community,” Ald. Chris Taliaferro told the Center Square. “We’re looking at enhancing penalties and enhancing punishment when it comes down to the youth or adults in black and brown communities.”

City watchdog People’s Fabric raised similar concerns, adding “history has shown us that enhanced penalties like this are always going to be enforced against activists and people of color. The scope of his ordinance is any kind of ‘crime,’ which includes minor violations often weaponized against protesters.”

With his plan calling for 10 days of imprisonment, a $5,000 fine and up to 129 hours of community service on top of the standard penalty for the crime, Lopez touts it as a “common sense” measure, adding only those engaging in wrongdoing need be concerned.

The veteran council member adds he plans to seek a hearing on the measure at the City Council’s next public safety committee meeting.

At the same time, Taliaferro, a former CPD detective, openly questions if his colleague is even on the right track to have any chance of turning his words into law.

“I certainly believe that this is something that he needs to be talking to our state legislators about rather than the city council,” Taliaferro said.

“Is he referring to violating a city ordinance while wearing a mask or is he talking about violating the state crime?” he added. “We don’t handle those issues in the City Council. If he’s looking to elevate a crime based off of aggravated circumstances or wearing a mask, that’s a matter that’s going to go before the General Assembly.”

Wisconsin Supreme Court Looks to Overturn State’s 175-Yr.-Old Abortion Law

() The Wisconsin Supreme Court is going to decide on abortion.

The court said it will hear two challenges to Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion law, without waiting for lower courts in the state to rule on them first.

“In granting this case, this court is doing what many other state courts have done, both before and after Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health—considering a state constitutional challenge to an abortion-related statute,” left-wing Justice Jill Karofsky wrote in the order to accept the case. “Deciding important state constitutional questions is not unusual—it’s this court’s job.”

The Wisconsin court will hear a challenge to the ruling from a Dane County judge that says Wisconsin’s law, which all but bans abortions in the state, deals with mothers who want to kill their unborn babies, and has nothing to do with doctors who perform abortions.

The court will also hear the request from Planned Parenthood to declare that there is a right to abortion in Wisconsin.

Michelle Velasquez, chief strategy officer with Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, said she is grateful the court is taking up their case.

“Wisconsinites need and deserve resolution to the questions before the court,” Velasquez said in a statement.

“With continued attacks on abortion, as well as other sexual and reproductive health care like contraception, gender affirming care, and IVF, protecting access to abortion and establishing protections for bodily autonomy is essential to ensuring everyone can make decisions about their reproductive health and lives,” she added.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty is one of many groups who say the leftist majority court should let lawmakers settle the state’s abortion questions.

“Wisconsin’s duly elected legislature and governor should go through the normal legislative process and create policy to govern abortion,” said WILL lawyer Luke Berg.

“No judge, justice, or lawyer should be creating policy for Wisconsinites out of thin air,” he added. “Yet that’s what is happening now. Wisconsin’s Supreme Court is making a historic mistake by even considering an original action in this case.”

Out-of-state dark money billionaires played a large part in helping to install far-left Justice Janet Protasiewicz on the court in 2022, flipping the majority in the Left’s favor. With the new majority, the activist court has made controversial rulings on issues including the gerrymandering of state elections and, as of this week, reversing a prior ruling to allow ballot dropboxes.

Voter Accuracy Program Going Statewide in Ohio

(A pilot program targeting the accuracy of voter rolls in Ohio is now going statewide.

Secretary of State Frank LaRose recently announced a new voter-data integrity program that began in six counties and is now going statewide. The program uses county-specific digital dashboards to help identify voter-registration discrepancies.

“These data entry discrepancies are not commonly indicative of fraud or irregularities, but they must be resolved in order to comply with our shared statutory responsibility to maintain the accuracy of the statewide voter registration database,” LaRose said.

As previously reported, LaRose spokesman Ben Kindel told the Center Square the dashboard is another tool local officials will use during regular list-maintenance processes, which happen daily and weekly. Before the dashboard was created, local boards managed their systems.

Kindel also said most voter-registration errors come when officials mistakenly hit the wrong keyboard stroke when updating forms or improper transcriptions from hand-filled registration forms.

The dashboards give county boards of election access to dashboards that show the number of registration records flagged for potential errors, such as illegal characters in name fields, placeholder birth dates, unreasonably high ages and improper birth/registration date combinations.

Mistakes were often the result of information being manually entered into the state’s database from handwritten forms over the years.

“Many of Ohio’s registration records have been manually entered into the system from a handwritten form, which can sometimes lead to data entry errors,” LaRose said.

“This innovative tool will help every county election office to clear up these issues more effectively, and I look forward to building on the success of the pilot program as we get ready for the November election,” he added.

With the new dashboards, election officials are now required to review and fix errors that include prohibited name characters, placeholder birth dates, registration before birth and registration under 17 years old.
