(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In a new development that has raised further questions about the extent of dubious White House political influence and business ties, a leaked letter penned by President Joe Biden has brought to light connections between the Biden family and foreign dealings.
The letter, dated 2011, was addressed to Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, who recently gave damning testimony to the House Oversight Committee describing the president’s connections to his son’s dealings. The unearthed letter highlights a seemingly casual exchange with significant implications.
The contents of the letter, initially released by the New York Post and corroborated by Fox News on Monday, reveal President Biden expressing gratitude to Archer for his attendance at an event where he played host to then-Chinese President Hu Jintai.
“I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday,” Biden wrote. “I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu. I hope I get a chance to see you again soon with Hunter. I hope you enjoyed the lunch. Thanks for coming.”

Fox News reported the timing of the letter coincides with an event that Hunter Biden allegedly exploited for his own business interests.
Hunter Biden is said to have leveraged his presence at the luncheon as a networking opportunity, aiming to assist one of his clients in securing an event at the Chinese embassy in Washington, D.C.
This revelation adds to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the Biden family’s business dealings, particularly those involving foreign entities.
In contrast, the Biden White House has dismissed the allegations of an influence-peddling scheme tying both the president and his son. In a similar vein, President Biden has disregarded pressing questions about an alleged bribery scheme totaling $5 million for himself and an additional $5 million for his son.
The scheme was initially exposed by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley, following the release of an infamous FD-1023 informant file that details the scheme.
In an interview with Fox News, Comer had alluded to the 2011 letter, saying, “Remember, two and a half years ago, we had a former business partner, [Tony] Bobulinski, say that the email from the laptop … said ‘10% for the big guy,'” Comer stated last Thursday, according to Fox. “He says, ‘the big guy is Joe Biden.’ We have the piece of evidence you just talked about there – this note from 2011. We have the WhatsApp messages.”
