(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In the wake of news dropped last Friday by Twitter CEO Elon Musk that showed overt collusion between the social media titan and the Biden regime to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, it was revealed Tuesday that disgraced FBI lawyer James Baker interfered with Musk’s release of the files and tried to suppress critical information from public view.
Baker, who after his ignominious departure from the FBI was conveniently hired as general counsel for Twitter, became known as what law professor Jonathan Turley called “the Kevin Bacon of the Russian collusion scandals.”
As one of the conspirators in the ruse to damage then-candidate Donald Trump, Baker served as bagman for Clinton campaign operative Michael Sussmann’s contact with the FBI, and approved the covert surveillance of Carter Page based on the bogus Steele dossier.
“It was pretty obvious that the Twitter files that had just been released were missing a crucial element,” Miranda Devine of the New York Post told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “And that was the FBI. So, we surmised that somehow Elon Musk had redacted it or someone had withheld the information about the FBI.”
It was a prescient observation that proved accurate on Tuesday when journalist Matt Taibbi, who had collaborated in releasing the files, confirmed that Baker was responsible for vetting the files that were released. Musk immediately fired Baker when he learned of the development.
The news that Baker was reviewing the “Twitter files” surprised everyone involved, to say the least. New Twitter chief Elon Musk acted quickly to “exit” Baker Tuesday.

“In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today,” Musk tweeted.
The emergence of Baker’s connection to the files sparked renewed criticism of the collusion efforts to censor the laptop from hell story and aide then-candidate Joe Biden.
FBI Agent Timothy Thibault tried to shut down an avenue of the Hunter Biden investigation.
Then, Twitter hires former FBI General Counsel James Baker who helps give the company an excuse to suppress the story.
Coordination?

“The FBI, we knew, had pre-bunked to the social media platforms our story,” Devine said of the agency’s original efforts to censor the Post’s story by warning of Russian disinformation about Hunter Biden.
“So we knew that, there had to be something about that at Twitter, and yet there wasn’t in the Twitter files and it was pretty obvious who was suppressing the information, who was the person with the biggest motive, it was Twitter’s top lawyer James Baker, who as you just said had been the top lawyer at the FBI, the quarterback of the FBI-Russia collusion scandal,” Devine said.
“Lo and behold, he shows up in Twitter five months before the 2020 election and lo and behold, one little element did come out in the Twitter Files Friday night,” Devine said, referencing an email from Baker opining about the Post story a few hours before it was published.
“And there was James Baker weighing in on the side of censorship, no surprise,” Devine said.
