(Chris Parker, Headline USA) A growing number of doctors are risking their careers to “take back medicine,” reported Rebel News.
The Australian Medical Professional Society has risen to challenge ineffective and often dangerous COVID mandates in a country that implemented some of the most stringent and damaging measures in the developed world.
Their goals is to challenge the global response of governments that did far more harm to society than COVID.
“Doctors whether they, for example regarding masks, regarding vaccines, regarding lockdowns, regarding any issue in the Covid era, if they’ve evaluated their evidence and if they’re acting and advising their patients in good faith, then that is a matter between doctor and patient,” said Dr. Robert Brennan.
“That’s the substance of free speech and that’s also the substance of the scientific dialectic and so doctors of all stripes and all persuasions need to be able to have their voice unencumbered by regulators injecting politicisation of science, politicisation of medicine into the discourse.”
According to their website, they are “doctors, not union officials. Zero party politics means lower fees and complete focus on achieving meaningful outcomes for our members.”
They also discuss the dire situation faced by many doctors who tried to expose the significant risks in the government’s overbearing response to COVID.
According to the website, “”During the pandemic so many doctors were silenced and a lot of doctors didn’t agree with what was done in the pandemic response and we felt we lost our profession because of all the censorship and suppression,” said anaesthetist, Dr. Jeyanthi Kunadhasan who was terminated by the hospital she had worked at for 13 years.
They are not the first group of doctors who have fought back against COVID tyranny. Several popped up right at the beginning, although they were largely censored by Big Tech.
America’s Frontline Doctors is another association that rose in response to unprecedented COVID restrictions in the US. According to their website:
“The doctor-patient relationship is being threatened. That means quality patient care is under fire like never before. Powerful interests are undermining the effective practice of medicine with politicized science and biased information.
Now more than ever, patients need access to independent, evidence-based information to make the best decisions for their healthcare. Doctors must have the independence to care for their patients without government, media, and medical establishment interference.”
They promise to empower physicians who want to fight back but face potential risks.
Most of the physicians fight against COVID tyranny seem to believe the most powerful method of fighting back is involvement from the people.
AFD expressed that by quoting Founding Father Dr. Benjamin Rush in their mission statement: “Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship to restrict the art of healing to one class of Men and deny equal privileges to others; the Constitution of this republic should make special privilege for medical freedom as well as religious freedom.”
