(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In a bold departure from party orthodoxy, Republican Rep. Greg Stuebe, Fla., defended his articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden, citing the damning evidence showing the alleged corruption surrounding the president.
Speaking in an interview with conservative commentator Mark Levin, Stuebe outlined the basis for his urgent call for impeachment proceedings against the embattled president.
While cautioning against hastily pursuing impeachment proceedings, Stuebe has broken ranks by introducing the impeachment articles, emphasizing a litany of allegations including bribery, extortion, obstruction of justice, fraud, and involvement in illicit activities.
“You’ve had enough of the Biden crime family, particularly since Nancy Pelosi, has lowered the bar for impeachment. Impeachment for Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats was anytime they disagree with you,” Levin stated during the interview.
Echoing Levin and reflecting on past events, Stuebe remarked, “They impeached Trump for a phone call to a foreign leader… Republicans don’t work and just operate that way. We want to do the investigation, get the information.” The Representative then pointed to the information gathered by various House committees, some of which he serves on, as evidence of the alleged wrongdoing.
Citing recent revelations, Stuebe cited allegations that have been linked to the Biden family. “All these corruption, extortion, bribery—all the things that through the investigations that multiple House committees have put together. I think it’s important that the American people see that we’re working for them and they’re seeing all these facts and evidence.”
Stuebe went on to emphasize the allegations of financial involvement with foreign entities, including Russian oligarchs, Chinese Communist Party members, and Ukrainian interests, totaling a staggering $20 million.
“The Biden family has gotten from foreign entities – Ukraine, now Russian oligarch, all these different Chinese Communist Party,” the representative asserted. “These are crimes that have been committed.”
“We now have testimony from witnesses, we have financial records, we have individuals who were business partners that just recently last week, Devin Archer, testified about his involvement in all of these,” he stated, referring to damning evidence detailed by the House Oversight Committee.
It is unclear whether House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will support Stuebe’s impeachment.
