(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Mark Brnovich, Arizona’s RINO attorney general and candidate for secretary of state, attacked skeptics of the 2020 presidential election in a 60 Minutes broadcast on Sunday.
In the broadcast Brnovich said election skeptics are “clowns that throw stuff against the wall and see what sticks,” according to Axios.
Of election skepticism he argued that “It’s like a giant grift in some ways.”
This categorization included Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, according to Brnovich, who called the popular Lake “a denier.” Brnovich continued to say that most of the election skepticism is “horsesh**t” and that “I’ve been trying to scrape it off my shoes for the last year.”
The outgoing AG blamed President Trump for the deceptive practices. Brnovich told CBS that Trump called him and said, “all you gotta do is say the election’s fraudulent, and you will be a superstar, you’ll be the most popular guy in America.”
Brnovich reported that his response was heroic. He reported himself saying that he didn’t need help, “whether it’s a former president, or any other person validating what I’m doing and why I’m doing it.”
Brnovich has a long history of fighting with President Trump and may have hurt feelings over a previous encounter.
Trump told Newsweek earlier this year that he urged “the lackluster Attorney General of Arizona, Mark Brnovich, to get on the ball and catch up with the great Republican Patriots in the Arizona State Senate.”
“As massive crime in the 2020 Election is becoming more and more evident and obvious, Brnovich is nowhere to be found,” Trump said.
“He is always on television promoting himself, but never mentions the Crime of the Century, that took place during the 2020 Presidential Election, which was Rigged and Stolen.”
