White House Spox Has Braindead Excuse Why Unvaxxed Tennis Star Banned but Illegals Aren’t

'It's two different things... '

(Chris ParkerHeadline USA) The Biden administration recently drew significant criticism for barring an unvaccinated tennis star from entering the US Open, while allowing illegal immigrants to flood in without checking their vaccine status.

The White House has finally responded with its excuse – and it’s not a very good one, reported Fox News.

First, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to side-step the issue several times during a press conference.

“How come migrants are allowed to come into this country unvaccinated, but world-class tennis players are not?” asked Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy during Tuesday’s briefing. Initially, Jean-Pierre attempted to respond by using HIPAA regulations as a cop-out.

“The U.S. government cannot discuss the details of individual visa cases,” she dodged. “Due to privacy reasons, the U.S. also does not comment on medical information of individual travelers as it relates to this tennis player.”

Doocy then became more direct.

“Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane, you say that’s not OK. Somebody walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated, they’re allowed to stay?”

“That’s not how it works. … It’s not like someone walks over,” she replied.

“That’s exactly what is happening,” Doocy responded. “Thousands of people are walking in a day. Some of them turn themselves over. Some of them are caught. Tens of thousands a week are not. That is what is happening.”

“Why is there a CDC [vaccine] requirement for people who fly here as opposed to people who cross the border?” he asked.

She then switched the blame to the CDC.

“We have talked about Title 42,” Jean-Pierre replied. “There is a CDC provision for folks coming through the southern border. It is not just for tennis players.”

Jean-Pierre finally gave the best excuse our Democrat-controlled federal government could muster: “It’s two different things,” she said. No further explanation was given.

Meanwhile, COVID cases in border regions have surged as high as 900%. That has put a strain on Border Patrol agents who are already overwhelmed with the massive influx of illegal immigrants.
