Victim of Akron Police Shooting Fired at Cops, Protesters Burn City

'Shots fired. That vehicle just had a shot come out of its door... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) As the city of Akron burns with race riots stoked by Black Lives Matter “protesters,” videos have emerged from the Akron Police shooting revealing that the victim shot first.

Akron Police shot and killed the 25-year-old Jayland Walker last week, leading up to the riots, the Akron Beacon Journal reported. But the mainstream media failed to report Akron Police Chief Steve Mylett’s comments that every officer fired on Walker only after he fired at them from his car earlier in the chase.

They also waited until he later reached for a gun and pointed it at officers. Footage from police cameras confirms Mylett’s account.

In one of the videos leading up to the shootout, one officer related: “Shots fired. That vehicle just had a shot come out of its door.”

A chase ensued, which saw the police try to unsuccessfully use tasers. Soon after officers were instructed to draw their firearms, Walker turned and appeared to prepare to fire shots at the police.

At this point the police opened fire on Walker, for about seven seconds. Four seconds into the shooting, an officer can be heard shouting “cease fire.”

Video footage released by the City of Akron also confirms the story, capturing Walker firing shots at officers from his car.

Posobiec also posted an official Akron report showing that Walker was involved in a felony police chase the day before the fatal shooting occurred.

According to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office, Walker had about 60 total wounds, though it was unclear which was an entry wound and which an exit.
