(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A small Christian school in California has come under fire for its President’s Day celebration, during which the children were recorded chanting mild, anti-Biden sentiments.
In celebration of the holiday, a teacher sent home video footage of students talking about voting the remarkably unpopular President Joe Biden out of office.
“Who’s our President?” the teacher asked the children.
“Biden!” they shouted in reply.
“What do we want to do to him?” she then asked.
“We want him out! We want him out!” the children excitedly chanted.
ABC 7 News interviewed a disgruntled parent, who complained that she disliked the chant. Christina McFadden, whose daughter attends the school, was furious upon seeing the footage.
“She loved [the school and the teachers],” McFadden said.
“I just was in shock… the first thing she said to me when we picked her up is ‘we want him out!” McFadden added, tears welling up in her eyes.
The woke news station also interviewed UCLA professor of education Dr. Tyrone Howard to get his expert opinion on how private schools can be forced to comply with woke guidelines.
“I know private schools operate under a different set of guidelines and procedures,” he said, “but I don’t know that even in the private domain that those in leadership would want teachers telling students what to think about a political leader.”
Soon after the video was posted, the school apologized and removed the post.
The video “did not share our school and church philosophy of honoring and respecting authority including those in government positions,” school and church officials wrote.
Oddly enough, the media covers such non-stories with voracity while defending teachers who tell 6-year-olds about the political need for genital and hormonal mutilation, as well as sexual experimentation.
The New York Times, for example, just recently ran a piece describing America’s “free speech problem,” citing the conservative response to woke education as an example of restricted free speech.
According to the Times, when teachers make innocuous videos, restriction of speech is acceptable, but when parents push back against anti-racism or the LGBT agenda, it is a Constitutional crisis.
