Trump Torches SCOTUS’s Order to Release Tax Returns to House Dems.

'Has Joe Biden paid taxes on all of the money he made illegally from Hunter & beyond... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In a move to aid and abet the long-running political persecution of Donald Trump, the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday approved the release of the former president’s tax returns to the Democrat-driven House Ways and Means Committee.

Chief Justice John Roberts earlier this month put a temporary freeze on the tax records being released to the committee. But with no explanation, Roberts and the court reversed course and rejected Trump’s request to prevent House Democrats gaining access to his personal and business tax records, according to SCOTUSblog. The court did not explain its reasoning, and no justices noted dissent.

“The application for stay of the mandate presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the court is denied,” the court’s terse order read. “The order heretofore entered by The Chief Justice is vacated.”

Trump blasted the decision.

“It is unprecedented to be handing over Tax Returns, & it creates terrible precedent for future Presidents,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Has Joe Biden paid taxes on all of the money he made illegally from Hunter & beyond.”

House Democrats have been plotting since 2019 on a way to get their hands on Trump’s tax records, which they claim are needed to help craft legislation on how federal tax laws apply to a sitting president.

Trump’s attorneys offered another explanation in a prior note to the court, claiming that the committee’s records hunt “has nothing to do with funding or staffing issues at the IRS and everything to do with releasing the President’s tax information to the public,” according to The Last Refuge.

It was not immediately known how soon the Democrat-led House committee would obtain the tax records, but when Republicans reclaim majority control of the House in January they are expected to to withdraw the request, NBC News reported.

J6 Inquisition orchestrator, outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., praised the court’s decision as one that, “upholds our Democracy, the rule of law and the Congress’ ability to execute its legislative and oversight responsibilities.”

Pelosi studiously avoided any mention of the J6 Inquisition’s long-running search for Trump’s alleged role in planning, coordinating and directing the J6 uprising that likely played out under the watch of embedded federal agents and informants, but somehow caught the Justice Department, the Capitol Police and multiple other law enforcement agencies by surprise.
