Don Jr. Teases 2024 Cabinet Picks for AG, Press Secretary: ‘Watch DC Just Explode’

'Just put them in as interim even just to send that shot across the bow of the swamp...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Donald Trump Jr. has dropped hints about potential appointees for key positions in the White House, should his father, former President Donald Trump, win the 2024 presidential elections.

During the Thursday episode of his Triggered with Don Jr podcast, Trump Jr. engaged with his audience, discussing prospective candidates for the roles of White House press secretary and attorney general.

While reading comments from viewers, Trump Jr. appeared to endorse investigative journalist Laura Loomer as a potential pick for White House press secretary and Mike Davis, a conservative attorney and founder of Article III Project, as a potential attorney general if his father returns to the White House in 2024.

“She’s a bulldog, man, I will say that,” Trump Jr. commented of Loomer. “She gets after it. I’d love to see her as press secretary just to watch D.C. just explode. There’s a couple of people that you could put in positions like that, you know.”

Later in the podcast, Trump Jr. hinted at the potential nominees for attorney general. “We talk about, like, you know, Mike Davis as attorney general, one of those guys,” he added.

“You almost have to. Just put them in as interim even just to send that shot across the bow of the swamp, you know? Like — you want to play…You want to play? And then you can get someone, you know, the guys that wouldn’t get affirmed or otherwise. But let like Mike Davis, you know, Kash Patel be like interim AGs,” Trump Jr. continued.

Responding to the proposition, Loomer took to Twitter to accept the potential offer. “I gladly accept,” she said. “PRESS SECRETARY LAURA LOOMER! I like the sound of that! When do I start?”

Loomer restated her willingness to take on the job in two separate Twitter posts. “Nobody would defend your father from the Fake News with more passion than I would!” she declared, directly responding to Trump Jr.

On a separate post, she added, “It would be an honor to put the media in their place every day and defend President Trump from Fake News. We need accountability in Washington DC.”
