(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A TikTok leftist who goes by the name “Ms. Petch,” took to the social media platform to complain that masculine and chivalrous men are all right-wing, whereas their left-wing fellows have no interest in starting or providing for families.
In the video, she lamented the fact that she cannot find a handsome, masculine man who also wishes to serve as a crutch to her pursuit of her feminist dream.
“Do you want to know one of the saddest realizations I recently had?” she queried.
“[It] was that, as a liberal woman, it is really hard to find a man who’s willing to play the more traditional, masculine role in the relationship in today’s day and age, who is not a conservative,” she complained, misunderstanding the word “conservative” altogether.
Ms. Petch also noted that she was having a hard time finding a leftist man “who wants to pay on the first date, who wants to open the door, who wants and has that desire to take care of you and to provide.”
Unfortunately, she wants to have her cake and eat it too, finding a man who both encourages her to embrace revolutionary views but nonetheless practices traditional conservative social mores.
“I do want to be respected for my independence,” she claimed, arguing that, at the same time, she does not want to “conform to the traditional female, homemaker, childbearing role.”
Petch also told her followers that she is unwilling to compromise her “moral values” just to “find a man.” Ms. Petch might be searching long and hard for the combination she is looking for, and the panel of Fox News’ Outnumbered weighed in on her search.
“Look, I almost married a New York Democrat,” Fox Business correspondent Cheryl Cason told Outnumbered. “Whew! Dodged a bullet there, everybody.”
Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth offered his advice.
“Maybe just embrace the fact that women are women, and men are men,” he said. “If you want a traditional man, you have to have someone who actually believes in tradition.”
