(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Wanda Sykes, an alleged comedian and avowed leftist, criticized the recent decision by the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and showcased her Left Coast elitism by talking trash about Midwesterners.
Sykes shared her thoughts on the subject during an appearance on Late Night with Stephen Colbert, reported the Daily Wire.
Her brilliance was on full display as she ranted her frustration that America is no longer a democracy, failing to realize that this country has always been a constitutional republic.
“It just sucks, man. It really does,” Sykes said. “The country, it’s no longer a democracy, right? It’s no longer majority rule.”
Colbert, an “expert” on how the Supreme Court works, agreed with her.
“No. Certainly not in the Senate,” he said. “Certainly not in the Supreme Court.”
Then, Sykes used her extensive judicial background to proclaim that justices lied during their confirmation hearings, rehashing a fake news talking point that has been proven little but a lie itself.
“I mean, it’s like, these judges, they basically lied during their confirmation hearings, right? So how can you be a Supreme Court Justice and you’re just [lying]? They had their fingers crossed or somethin’ or what?” she said.
“It’s just a bunch of horse****. It really is.”
After that, Sykes showed her distaste toward conservatives who live in the Midwest.
“To me it’s like, the problem is that middle stuff. It is those states in the middle, that red stuff,” she said.
“Why do they get to tell us what to do, when the majority of us live out, New York, California, and we are paying for all this crap, really? We’re footing the bill.”
She then said that conservatives just need to shut up, since the elitists are “paying for all this crap.”
“Look, if I say let’s go out to dinner you don’t get to pick the restaurant, [just] shut up and eat.”
In response to Sykes’s rant, Dave Rubin pointed out some realities.
