(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Anthony Fauci, the medical tyrant beloved by woke leftists who again this week was directly tied to the lab development of COVID-19, regularly ridiculed the public he was supposed to be serving during the height of the pandemic, according to new reports.
While on duty as the nation’s Covid czar, Fauci mocked people who wore face masks into restaurants and removed them after being seated, calling them “ass-backwards” rubes. When he wasn’t insulting the public, he was cracking jokes about the absurdity of his own idea for anti-COVID-19 goggles, reported the New York Post, citing a new book to be published next month.
“[I]n January 2020, [Fauci] said the virus was nothing to worry about for the American people,” former White House spokesman Brian Morgenstern wrote in Vignettes & Vino.
“Then in the months that followed, he said that people should not wear masks and that they were ineffective,” Morgenstern wrote. “By June or July, he had changed his tune and said everyone should be very concerned and that they should wear multiple masks — and goggles.”
Fauci, who Morgenstern called “awful” and an “egomaniac,” thought it was all hysterical.
“I vividly recall my blood boiling during an infuriating meeting in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, when Fauci laughed about his own goggles comment, making it clear how cynical he was and that he could get people to believe anything,” Morgenstern recalled.
“He went on to laugh about how ‘ass-backwards’ it was that people entered a restaurant wearing a mask, then sat down and conversed with people without a mask.
“Of course, he wasn’t saying things to that effect publicly, just laughing privately at the American rubes he was fooling.”
The “American rubes” might be getting the last laugh. Fauci this week was again accused by a very credible source of being directly linked to the lab creation of COVID-19 and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, despite his numerous denials to the contrary under oath.
“Anthony Fauci funded the creation of SARS-COV2 and lied to Congress about funding Gain-of-Function work,” wrote attorney Thomas Renz, who is representing a former vice president of the Fauci-tied EcoHealth Alliance.
“Anthony Fauci and others coordinated to cover-up the funding of the Gain-of-Function work that resulted in SARS-COV2.”
The claim, made by former EcoHealth V.P. Andrew Huff, is remarkably consistent with the same allegations revealed by former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Robert Redfield.
“The evidence provided herein clearly demonstrate that SARS-COV2 was indeed created in a lab in Wuhan China by EcoHealth Alliance and with funding from Anthony Fauci’s NIH/NIAID,” Renz wrote in Sept. 12 filing that was sent to members of the House and Senate.
